Can we just all take a minute to forget about low carb diets and go to dream town in bagel heaven? I have always loved Brueggers Bagels since I was young. They have wonderful bagels, great sandwiches, a wide variety of cream cheese, and great coffee. This location is in a great spot, has friendly service, and plenty of seating. If you want a quality bagel... I love me some Brueggers.

They are only getting a 3 because I love Brueggers as a chain and I love their sandwiches but this location is horrible. My morning was completely ruined when I stopped there, ordered coffee and a breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese, sat down at my desk at work to find a BLT! UGH! I used to ONLY get the cheddar egg omelette and they discontinued it so I still try other things out but I'm starting to dislike Brueggers when it used to be my favorite. Any time I can go to the Clifton Brueggers over this one, I will! They have their stuff together way more.

I'm a Bruegger's fanatic and have started visiting this location since the downtown store closed. The drive thru is a huge plus, but does occasionally take some time. I've found that the weekend staff seems to be more "on it" than the weekday staff. The weekday staff just doesn't seem to be as fast and friendly. Bagel sandwiches have always been good, though. I will second a previous reviewer about the poor placement of the drive thru speaker-- it always feels like I'm yelling my order over the traffic noise. I also wish that they had sweet n' low packets. For some reason they only have Equal and Splenda. Overall ok location though. Always seems cleaner than the Hyde Park store.

Understaffed! I echo other reviews - there is no quick and easy time to grab a bagel here. Always long waits and frequently incorrect orders. Today was a classic though. It's raining so I did the drive through- got home and they forgot the roast beef on my roast beef sandwich.

My breakfast go to place when I am in a hurry. The staff is super friendly and quick. The restaurant itself is on the small side, but in the warm weather I sit outside. Close to columbia parkway = easy in and out!

This is a standard stop for me on my way to work in the morning. I only stop when I am running very early as the service tends to be slow. This doesn't bother me though... I've used both the drive thru and walked in and the employees are not standing around. It just takes time to actually put together real sandwiches. I have gone in with many large, complex orders and they have been correct every time as far as I know. The employees are friendly and professional. My one complaint is that the way the drive thru speaker is placed you really have to yell if traffic is bad. I don't see what else they could have done as the lot is tight. All in all I'm glad to have this place around. The food is much better than most of the breakfast alternatives and is worth the wait.

This particular Brueggers is better than the others ones in the city that I've been to. Every employee here is super nice, helpful and the customer service is above and beyond what they really need to have. Good job Brueggers, you've hired some gold star people here!

I've never had any of the wait problems that a lot of the other reviewers have had, but I've also never been in a hurry when I've come here. It's functional and conveniently located. Free Wifi. The food has always been great and so have the employees. It's bright, clean, and a good atmosphere for getting work done, holding a meeting, or eating by yourself or with friends or family.

We had been going every week to buy the baker's dozen (13) for $5.99 on Wednesday, but they can never seem to get the order correct. We return home with less than the baker's dozen more often than not, (last 3 of 4 visits) or several burned bagels at the bottom of the bag, necessitating a trip back to the store. Granted, the management is always apologetic but it is annoying week after week. I will have to find a new place to buy bagels. AND the price just went up on Wednesday to $6.99. Meh indeed. Plus, yes, it is slow as molasses waiting at the driveup and there is rarely parking in the lot out front.

This place is SO frustrating! It is so perfectly located for East-siders who are driving to work downtown to grab a quick breakfast on their way. There is NOTHING quick about this place. You do the drive through and you wait 15 min, you go inside to order, and you still wait 15 minutes. They are always understaffed and the staff that are there are not pleasant. Today I went during lunch and went inside to order just a bagel with cream cheese (should only take 5 min, right?). I was able to place my order right away and he made it pretty quickly. He handed me my order and then I went up to the cash register to pay. I waited TEN MINUTES for someone to come to the cash register to check me out. This place is so disorganized and the people that work there don't know if they should focus on customers inside or customers in the drive through, and yet somehow both drive through and walk-in customers get awful service! They really need a manger who can turn things around. Also recommend adding 1-2 more people to help during breakfast and lunch hours - they are always understaffed! If the didn't have these issues, I would be a customer EVERY morning in the drive through on my way to work. Instead, they only get my business a few times a month when I have an extra 10-15 minutes to allow for my wait time.

I don't see the problem with this location, solid bagels, a friendly enough staff, I've been here 3 or 4 times, and never had an issue with the place. The food isn't amazing, and I've never had the coffee, but if you're driving by and need a quick pick me up, this is one of the only options along highway 50.

While it feels uncharitable to pick on a glorified fast-food restaurant, this Bruegger's location has been substandard from the minute it opened. The service is awful, and out of the several times that I've been there, I haven't found a sandwich that could survive even a few bites before falling to pieces. Also, in perhaps some of the worst planning in town, they have an entrance that opens onto the sidewalk for the convenience of people walking to the restaurant. Except it's not really an entrance--it's a fake entrance that the planners made them adopt. Silly walker--go behind to the parking lot where all the real customers enter. Columbia-Tusculum could really use a nice sandwich shop. Too bad this isn't it, and too bad that this being here will probably keep something better from locating there.

Hmmmm..... I think I prefer Dunkin Donuts bagels to Bruegger's....that's pretty bad. Plus, the coffee here is terrible. I had to pour it out, and as a bona fide caffeine addict, I NEVER do that. Won't be back here any time soon!

I have visited this Brueggers at least once weekly for the past two years. I have no idea why I still go there. The service is not good and the food quality has significant ups and downs. I love the company and their bagels, but this morning after my visit I decided I will never be a patron of this location again. The store opens at 5:30am. I would assume this means that is when the drive through opens also. I sat at the drive through for 10 minutes this morning without being acknowledged. I decided I would go inside, but upon driving around the building, did not even see a single worker inside. It was a very frustrating visit and I went straight to work. Frequently the amounts of cream cheese varies on my bagels. My bagels are sometimes toasted and sometimes not. I understand it takes time to make different sandwiches, salads, etc, but when you have to post a sign in your drive through apologizing for your slow and intermittent service...there is a problem. Do yourself a favor, and choose a different location or bakery.

I am a fan of Brueggers, but this location is bad! The service is the worst I have experienced. Slow, forgetful, and non enthused.
