I've come here for coffee, not the wine. And, except for it's convenient location, I probably wouldn't be back again. The drinks I've had have been pretty weak. When I've been there it's been pretty loud, making it difficult to study. Plus, the seating is pretty tightly packed. Awakenings looks pretty trendy and promising on the outside, but at least right now it's quality is trending downward...

My cappuccino is yummy, and my fiance's coffee is not bad. But the atmosphere is kind of boring....they're playing classical music which kind of just makes me want to go to sleep. They didn't have many options for baked goods either...just muffins and cookies. They do have free wifi and the location is super convenient. They seem to have a lot of wine choices but I was looking for more coffee shop fair. Overall, I was kind of underwhelmed...Meh.

Best Chai I've ever had!! The brownies are hugee and would last as a sweet treat for more than one sitting, or person. The owner was friendly and more than willing to talk about his coffee shop. The local bands and artists that they host on the weekends are a chill & different atmosphere. Since they serve wine and not just coffee, this would be a fun free event to try. However, it was a little awkward walking in to buy coffee while they were performing because the door is feet away from where they play (center stage!). Avoid this awkwardness by arriving before 7 or 8 on weekend nights. Also, encountered a creepy guy lingering in the back while the music was being played- perhaps he was just enjoying a little too much wine...

It is wonderful to have a unique venue like this anywhere in the city. Coffee and wine is a bit of a strange combination, but when you want coffee and your date wants wine, this is just the kind of Swiss Army Knife that you need. This is a cute venue. Just outside the door you get your first whiff of the wonderful aroma of coffee. Attending on a Friday night, there was live music (no cover) performing in the window up front. The interior designers allowed for a nice little bar style viewing area that faces the performers. This area was very popular and when we arrived there was no chance of getting a seat in said area. Working midway through the building you happen across the coffee bar and cash register area, with a collection of wine to the left. Restrooms were appropriately located in the back. My group was a hodgepodge of wine and coffee drinkers so this place was perfect for us. I ordered a $5 glass of Pinot Grigio as I didn't want to overdo it. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that there is no cork fee here and that if you didn't finish your bottle they would also reseal it at no additional fee. I definitely suggest this option as it is by far the most economical. We hung out in the open area near the back, chatting and enjoying our assorted beverages. We probably could have benefited from some additional seating, but all told this was a great option.

Awakenings, I want to fall in love with you I really do... but I just feel like there are hotter, younger, better serviced, coffee shops out there. This place is that girl in high school that you keep giving a second chance, but you are continuously disappointed. And the only reason you keep going back is because she's easy. A convenient non-chain that means well. I stop by here when I am in the area but everything I have gotten from latte's to regular coffee, or tea has just been OK. Maybe when I see you at the reunion in ten years you will have grown up out of your awkwardness and gotten hot.

I've become a regular here just by sheer coincidence that I am working a couple stores down. The service is what has me coming back. The baristas and cashiers are all very friendly. The only downside I would have to say is their selection of pastries and food on display. For a coffee shop the selection seems small and underwhelming. For a business that is open for both breakfast and lunch you'd expect the basics at least some bagels and cream cheese. Long story short... I am glad they have at least decent drip coffee I can grab in the mornings for $1.50 when I bring my own mug! As long as I can get my cup of joe in the morning I'm good to go!

Good cappuccino, nice people, cool wine bar, yummy pumpkin muffins. Extremely long wait on Saturday.

Great selection of coffee and teas, and it's nice that it is open late if you want to catch up with someone after work. They have a fun wine selection, too. I'd come back here.

I've been here many times and would go to again. It is interesting that it is both a wine and coffee shop. While that sounds like a very weird combination, I've found it makes for a great place for an initial date. You can go for just coffee if you or your date is not a drinker, but it also serves as a good place for conversation over a glass of wine. They have live music on some nights which is a nice bonus!

Awakenings is located on Hyde Park Square next near Graeters Ice Cream and Tellers of Hyde Park. The last time I came here was a couple of years ago. I had a dental appointment the other day and needed some time to kill. I wanted some Herbal Tea, so I decided to drop by. The place was remodeled and looked more open, clean and cozy. I got the Peach Ginger Tea (small for $2.25) and staff was very friendly. I want to return and try the coffee and the wine. I looked at their wine list and they offer Wine Flights starting at $10.00 (red and whites). They also carry a variety of 500 different wine bottles from all over the world. They have access to the best "boutique wines" that you will never find in a conventional grocery store: Domestic wines mainly from California, Oregon and Washington states. They have wine inventory from France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Argentina, New Zealand, Australia and Portugal. Their wines are rated 80 and over. Besides the coffee, they have a wide variety of hot and cold drinks, there is also a case of breakfast foods, Gourmet Cookies, & muffins. Awakenings also has Events (Live music, art and wine events). View the events on their website (calender section). Free WIFI (ask the staff for password). Clean bathrooms. Parking (street or metered parking). I am definately a fan.

Favorite place to do wine tasting or just enjoy a bottle of wine. Not overly crowded so you can sit and enjoy your drink (s) . All the wines have high ratings but price changes drastically and staff is knowledgeable. Little loud for homework since it's a wine place also but I have been there mainly in evening so it may be quieter during the day.

Super friendly staff- I was offered a free coffee that they were just throwing out. I wasn't super fond of it because It had four whole shots of espresso -whew...but how can I complain when it was free and not something I would normally order- gotta try it right? I did order a ham and cheese croissant which was very tasty, and made a nice small breakfast. Warning crossaints take about 10 minutes to heat up, though they kindly informed me at the time of ordering. Overall I'd go back

A nice coffee shop in Hyde park with reasonable prices and free wi-fi. Parking is on the street with meters so bring some change (except Sunday when parking is free). The seats aren't very comfortable so don't plan on staying a long time. They serve beer and wine too, which is a nice addition. Everything else is pretty standard for a coffee shop.

Wait, a coffee and tea shop that also has wine? Awesome. I would have never known about their large wine collection but some in our group needed a hot drink to warm up. The whole wall has a wide variety of varietals and prices. As Scott mentioned, there is no corkage fee. Sweet! The man at the counter (Jeremy) was friendly and informative. I had a glass of Errazuriz (pronounced eee-raz-r-is), a Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon ($6). It was fine, not very bold or tannic, smooth. It was nice to support a coffee shop other than Starbucks.

Okay so I never actually came here for the coffee... maybe once or twice.... This was my spot to buy a bottle of wine and sit around and talk with friends. I know there are now a lot of new wine bars in the area, but this place will always hold a special place in my heart. When I lived in Erlanger, KY and my best friend lived up near Kings Island we always struggled with who would go to who so we finally settled on this little gem half way. We would sit and talk over a bottle of wine for hours. Definitely a place to relax, sit on your computer, or chat. I also would come here with the intention of studying, but come on... that just didn't happen. I'll have to check out the other wine bars in the area to gather the vibes, but I'll always love Awakenings.

Awakenings is a cool, different take on the neighborhood coffee shop. Being a wine bar really gives it a different vibe and the coffee is excellent.

I've stopped in here a couple times and they have a pretty nice space. Lots of tables and places to sit and a wall covered in different wines for sale. I'm not a wine aficionado but they seem to have a pretty good selection. I may not know wines but I do know coffee, and every coffee I've gotten I've here I've liked. They also have lots of yummy cookies, including Donna's Cookies. Yum! The staff seems nice enough and I never have to wait long for my drink. I think my only complaint is that it's too quiet. I feel like I'm in a library and I have to whisper. I know that quiet is good for the people trying to study or work but I think some light music would liven the place up a bit. Or at least help make me feel like I'm not a huge disturbance every time I come in with my toddler niece.

I love coffee shops... especially as the weather gets cooler. And Awakenings is one of the coffee shops I love the best. But I don't love it simply for the fact that it's a coffee shop, because despite the name Awakenings is much more than a coffee shop... it's also a full wine bar and shop. Whoever came up with the idea to combine a coffee shop and wine bar is brilliant! A few nights ago my husband and I were searching for a coffee shop to get some work done. Being a Sunday night, we were striking out! While I love Cincinnati coffee shops, I hate Cincinnati coffee shop hours! And while I'm not completely opposed to doing work in a bar, there's just something wrong about grading high school papers while sitting in a bar. Thus I'm constantly searching for late night coffee shops. And Awakenings doesn't disappoint. Usually I hate drinking coffee past 3pm because it will keep me up all night. So I try to find the most non-coffee drink on the menu. At Awakenings that drink is wine! What a perfect complement to grading papers! I was pleasantly surprised to find that the wine was not overpriced, especially considering the location. And I managed to get nearly a double glass due to the fact that it was the end of the night and the end of the bottle. The atmosphere there can be hit or miss depending on the crowd, but that's nothing that a good set of headphones can't fix. Overall it's a great place to get some work done and relax. Also they sometimes have live music on the weekends - extra bonus!

Awakenings in Hyde Park is a great combination coffee tea shop / wine bar. Let's start with the coffee / tea shop. They have the typical selection size for coffee and tea as well as the normal pastries. There is somewhat of a long time to prepare some of the sandwiches. For the wine shop, the selection is pretty broad as well. I noticed lot's of foreign wines (South American and European) as well as the typical California wines. They often have wine tastings on Friday and Saturday evenings. I haven't gone to one yet, but hope to in the near future. Overall, Awakenings is a great coffee / wine shop. I would definitely recommend everyone who lives in Hyde Park visit at least one time.

I remember when apartment-hunting in Cincinnati last year, I wanted to live in Hyde Park so badly. I arrived about a half hour early to my apartment tour appointment, so I found my way to Awakenings to kill some time. Though I love (LOVE!) coffee, I was first captivated by the abundance of wine! I found out about their wine tastings while waiting for my soy latte to be made and knew I had to come back (which I did a number of months later). My drink was just the right price and made very well. There is abundant seating both indoors and out, and I chose to sit outside. The free wi-fi allowed me to go online on my iPhone while drinking my caffeinated cup of addiction. I never did move to Hyde Park (too expensive!) but whenever I'm in that neck of the woods, I make it a point to return to Awakenings!

This place is cool and spacious but a little too quiet for me. I wanted background noise so that I could talk without feeling self-conscious. The barista was very nice and the atmosphere was very relaxed without trying too hard. There are racks of wine that look pretty tempting. I ordered a latte with whole milk and about 45 seconds after paying, regretted not ordering it iced. I voiced this to my sister, who was with me, and the nice barista quickly spoke up that she had overheard and could easily still make it iced. Relieved, I agreed that would be nice. The iced latte was very good! All of their coffee seems to be organic and fair-trade. We sat outside so that we could talk freely, since it was so quiet inside and there were a few people who seemed to be studying or reading. The outdoor portion is pretty nice, although there were some spiderwebs on the storefront by our table and my 20-month-old daughter seemed determined to wipe them all off onto her clothing. I used the restroom to wash her hands, and it was clean and well-kept. Overall, if I came to Hyde Park more, I'd definitely visit this place more often.

I stopped at Awakenings Coffee & Tea Co. with some friends for breakfast after a hard day's night out on the town. We tried the ham and cheese croissant, the bacon and cheddar cornbread muffin, the spinach quiche and the spinach croissant. All of these things were delicious and well portioned. For about $5-10 one can have a very reasonable and pleasant breakfast. The baristas are knowledgeable about the coffee being roasted that day and are quite skilled and quick at preparing a variety of other coffee-based beverages. I particularly enjoyed the bacon and cheddar cornbread muffin that has flecks of jalepeño baked in addition to sizable pieces of pork bacon- the perfect consistency satisfying both the crunchy and chewy bacon aficionado. Awakenings is also a very pet-friendly business featuring artwork and an outdoor seating area where people can be seen enjoying coffee with their dogs. Awakenings has a close-knit community feel, everyone seemed to know each other and really be having a great time at life. A stop at Awakenings Coffee & Tea Company is sure to get the day started off right!

What's not to love?!? Awakenings has a wonderful selection of coffees and teas, a large wine selection for dine-in or carry out, and Donna's cookies! The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Awakenings is a great locally owned coffee shop. I enjoy this place because not only are they a coffee shop- but a wine bar. I have had coffee here more times than wine, but everything I've had here has been amazing. They were great to work with when we had a wine-tasting fundraiser there too for a walk I'm doing in August. They have wall racks full of wine and some behind the counter. What a great selection! It's in an absolutely great spot in Hyde Park square- easy to find and also has some tables out on the street for a fantastic people watching opportunity. They even have greeting cards right there for purchase. Grab a cup and chill out on the patio. You really can't go wrong here.

  • Adolfo N.

If you need a late night coffee spot that's not a chain, you're kind of limited on choices on the east side. If you want to chill and get some work done, you're even more restricted. Awakenings fills that gap, and it's also a wine bar, so it has a bit of an identity crisis, or it's one of the greatest combos ever. for me, it's simply a serviceable coffee place that I can come do some grading after 6pm. for you, it might be a great place to bring a date for a little caffeine or alcohol, they do "irish" up your coffee for you for a nominal fee. Check it out!

Awakenings is a great spot for those who cannot decide between coffee or wine. There have been occasions when my fiance is craving some coffee (he's a caffeine addict) and I typically dread going to coffee houses because I do not consume caffeine at all. Awakenings is perfect for us because he can have his cup of coffee while I enjoy a glass of wine. Because I am not a coffee drinker, this review will focus on their wine. I can say though that my fiance has never seemed disappointed in his coffee. They have several wines for sale by the glass, as well as an abundant selection of bottles. Each time we have gone the bartender/barista is very pleasant and seems to personally know some of the regular customers. We're not regulars yet, but maybe someday. The main reason they got 4 stars instead of 5 is that the restrooms were gross gross gross. I hope this is promptly resolved as this is not the first time I've had this experience there. However, the rest of Awakenings is very clean and has great art to view. We've mainly gone on weekend evenings and there has been live music that we greatly enjoyed. The crowd there seems to be older but is always friendly. They may be older Hyde Park residents, but they're the cool ones that still go out!

Ok, Cincinnati, look, I know you love your Starbucks. You voted it best coffee in the city. But I promise you, there are many great locally owned Cincinnati coffee shops. Shops just as good and as clean and as nice to sit in as Starbucks. Awakening's is one of those shops! Their coffee is delicious and fresh and they make their own pastries. Delicious pastries. Get an espresso, get a scone, sit by the window in pretty but hoity Hyde Park and enjoy the afternoon. Also, they serve locally owned and made Donna's Gourmet Cookies. If you've never had a Donna's Gourmet Cookie before, go get a Donna's Gourmet Cookie. Your life is not complete without a Donna's Gourmet Cookie. This isn't just a coffee shop, though; it's a wine shop as well. They have a delicious selection of different things to try, or the familiar drink at the end of a long day. The only issue I've ever had with Awakening's is that they are a bit slow ... and by a bit, I mean a lot of bit, especially when it's crowded. You might be waiting for a while for whatever you get, but its ok, they've got comfortable chairs to wait in. Next time you're craving caffeine, try this out - or any coffee shop besides Starbucks. Please! Cincinnati begs you!

I stopped in here one morning to work on a group project for school, and the place was about half filled with folks with laptops. That is something I really like to see in a local coffee shop. The latte I ordered was quite delicious, and I was pleased/amused to see a sign offering a Frangelico or Amaretto shot for $2 extra (might have been $2.50, actually). And that's when I turned around and realized they also sell wine. Wow, can't put one over on oh-so-observant me, eh? An easy walk for those of us who live near Hyde Park Square, Awakenings is a nice quiet place to work (much quieter than the library on my college campus, that is for sure, and much better for productivity than an apartment filled with glorious distractions like streaming Netflix and Grand Theft Auto). Plus, they have delicious coffee and wine served by an extremely friendly staff.

  • Matt C.

I like coffee. I drink lots of it. I'm not a snob about it or anything, but I'm pretty sure I know bad coffee from good coffee, and good coffee from great coffee. The coffee at Awakenings is good, but not great. The stuff they serve is fine if you just want a cup or two, but if you're like me and you buy beans to grind and brew at home, I suggest you swing by Coffee Emporium or Lookout Joe, both of which places roast their own beans. Also, a lot of the different types of beans are often out of stock if you stop in on the wrong day. I've never tried the wine, but I've overheard other customers talking with the staff about it, and they seem pretty knowledgeable. Unfortunately, though, I'm kind of a purist about my coffee and coffee shops. The mingling of the two concepts feels a little like a stretch. Overall, it's good on the go or in a pinch, and it's fun in nicer weather to sit outside and relax, but real coffee lovers might not be knocked out.

  • Nick B.

This place is the quintessential example of a pretentious "coffee" shop. I put coffee in quotes because this place seems to serve as much (if not more) wine as coffee. It oddly has a wine bar placed smack in the middle of it. The walls are lined with wines with the coffee bar in the back. Rather than having the homely, comfortable ambiance of a normal coffee shop this place reminds me of those pretentious wine bars you find in Germany where everybody wears black rimmed glasses and has a Mac Book pro. In short, this place is not a coffee shop per se. It is more of a fad that people go to for wine. The coffee itself? Meh. I got a latte where the milk overpowered the actual coffee flavor, pretty much sealing the deal for me that this place doesn't really pride itself on its coffee as much as how its lavish wine collection is perceived by its customers.

As a former employee, I don't think my review counts for much. I can tell you, though, that the staff will go to great lengths to make your experience the best that it can be.... just don't be a greedy arsehole.

Drinks were relatively weak and I've had better at other coffee shops in the area.

  • Niamh O.

Awakenings is a nice spot, but bordering on the slightly-too-pretentious for my taste, if I'm being honest. There's a wonderful selection of wine and a nice little bar where you can order by the glass or enjoy a wine tasting. I haven't taken the opportunity to do either, but one time I stopped in during a wine tasting and an extremely helpful waiter/barista helped guide me to a truly excellent Syrah. Awakenings is short on outlets for computers with temperamental batteries, and their wireless was finicky the last time I was there. Still and all, it's a good spot to get a bit of work done in the afternoon; but not my first choice in the neighborhood.

  • Nikki H.

I came here by invitation from a friend. I'm a coffee fiend but alas, sadly I had to refrain from caffeinated drinks and opted for their four berry fruit smoothie. My friend had some form of caramel mocha latte. My smoothie was heavenly. 20 oz was plenty. When I first came in, I thought the back wall chalkboard was the only one available but after looking to my left and past the machines, I found the iced coffees and smoothies. Am I glad I noticed that! Aaaaand what won me over is their weekly wine tastings. Their selection is quite nice. I have a feeling I'll be back more times than expected. The card with my very first punch out is ready for another punch out!

Great quaint little spot in Hyde Park Square. Location is primo! Perfect place to work on your laptop by yourself. However, don't plan a meeting or date here. It's as quiet as a library inside. Attempted a work meeting here, but had to leave because of the extreme quiet. But if you are looking for coffee in a very quiet space in a great location, Awakenings is your spot!

Awakenings is a great little coffee shop and wine bar in the heart of Hyde Park Square. It's probably not the most common combination, but it works. I've been there a couple times in the last month, and both times I was feeling indecisive about whether I wanted coffee or wine. Luckily, I could choose either option (or start with one, and move on to the other). They have an entire wall of wine bottles to choose from, and they're very reasonably priced. You can also open a bottle there, and they'll cork it up for you at the end of your visit so you can take the rest home. No corkage fee, either! In terms of coffee, they have your typical coffee house options, but I noticed during my last visit that they also have a few "adult" flavor options, such as Bailey's and Kahlua...yum! Occasionally the live music is a little too loud to carry on a conversation, but that's the only complaint I have about Awakenings.

A cafe that has coffee and wine?! what is not to love? :) Now, I am not a big coffee drinker, but every once and a while I like a good mocha. Well, the mocha at Awakenings is soo good! Right blend of chocolate and expresso, of course topped with silky, creamy whipped cream-such a treat! And the staff is so friendly. It's perfect to grab a drink and then walk around Hyde Park Square!

This place is amazing! I'm still awed by a coffee and wine bar so...Espresso was delicious, best I've had here in Ohio yet. Wine selection was also VERY good!! Cheap too which is a plus! Will definitely come here again and again aaaaaaand again.

Awakenings is a coffee and wine bar located on Hyde Park Square. They also offer some local sweets like Donna's Gourmet Cookies. The thing that stands out the most at this shop is that they have a strong community following. This is a regular gathering place for many and lots of people who come here know each other well. The baristas are also very familiar with their regulars. Standard coffee and tea fare is available. The espresso drinks are well made and the coffee is good. Prices are reasonable. I have never tried the wine here but there are many wine offerings as well. The one downside to this location is that parking can be a little difficult. I know my coffee drinks pretty well but have heard from others that the environment is a bit intimidating. Overall, Awakenings is a nice stop on Hyde Park square.

Nice little coffee and wine shop. Everyone who works here is very nice. The coffee is great, I have never tried any of their other offering but the pastries always look good. You can tell that most of the people who visit here are regulars.

Awakenings is a quaint little coffee and pastry shop located in the posh Hyde Park Square shopping district. They serve delicious coffee and have some even more delicious pastries. I used to come here both after school when I was growing up and after my choir practice which was at the church around the corner. We had just enough time during rehearsal's break to grab a pastry or a coffee as long as service was quick which it was! Their white chocolate brownies are divine! They have flavorful coffee combinations you can get in warm or iced coffee. They also offer ciders and other seasonal things in the winter. You can find local art on the walls that rotates in and out. I think you can buy it too! Awakenings also sells wine. They often have wine tasting events as well so check the website for more details.

I'm not really sure why I'm so ambivalent about this place. It's my local coffee shop and I'm a grad student in need of places to study outside the confines of my own office. The regular wait staff are friendly, and I have no complaints with the fare. However, the wifi is usually spotty and the layout of the place is not very conducive to maintaining focus.

I don't like coffee, but I love independent coffee shops! Awakenings is a great place to study, read, or meet with friends. Their ice teas are really great too, you don't even need to add sugar!

This place has been going dowhill. Moved to Cincinnati 2.5 years ago and was here all the time, but since they added the wine bar and live (read: bad and annoying) music weekend nights I've stopped going. The focus has shifted from coffee to wine. I hate to think it's because of the almighty $, but that's my guess. While I'm all for a good vintage now and then, can't we have just one place with a nice atmosphere away from home that is quiet and dry on the weekends?

This morning my husband and I went to Awakenings to get some iced espresso after going to the market. We were excited to try Awakenings for the first time after reading good reviews! Unfortunately, although the espressor was good, the customer service was lacking. We ordered our usual drink which we get at a competitor in the area: iced double espresso. The staff refused to put our drinks in the cold cups because they claim customers "put too much milk" in iced espressos and "those are called lattes." Now, I've been drinking espressos for some time and I know my different drinks. I didn't want a latte with a ton of milk, I wanted a double espresso over ice, to be enjoyed with a splash of milk, in a cold cup with straw. I didn't get what I wanted and will not go there again for coffee. Sipping coffee is a nice, relaxing experience for me--an experience I didn't get at Awakenings. I will be taking my business to other coffee shops where customers intentions are not questioned and where milk consumption is not tracked.

It was hot, hot, hot, on the day that we were shopping in Hyde Park so we decided to stop by Awakenings for some cold refreshment. Most of Awakenings menu deals with coffee and wine but luckily they also featured Chai and Iced Tea on their menu. We had to wait a few minutes while a hectic mother asked for a whole banana and a cup of milk for her young son, which Awakenings happily provided with a smile. We both drooled over the delicious looking chocolate croissants but ended up settling on just tea, saving ourselves the calories. Awakenings has quite a few tables that coffee, tea, and wine drinkers were using but we chose to walk outside and sit in the park with our drinks. Great tea, and cheap, too!

This is a great little place. The ambiance is great - quiet, pleasant decor (though only two outlets, so if you're going to work be forewarned that electricity might be hard to come by). The wine list seemed good and was reasonably priced. I was a little concerned that the girl serving the wine knew nothing about it and had to read the label to tell me what the different wines tasted like, but the glass I had was delicious and only $5, so that worked out in the end. I anticipate spending a lot of time at Awakenings in the future..!

Neat little shop that serves wine, coffee and pastries. You could get an espresso in the morning, a scone at lunch and a port after your meal on the square!

I really don't get why this coffee shop felt the need to become a wine bar as well. Maybe rents are just really expensive in Hyde Park and this helps pay the bills, but it makes for a wholly odd experience in the morning. I don't really want to stroll past a bar to get my morning caffeine shot and I think that by dividing their forces, they've only weakened the coffee side. The coffee is nowhere near the best in Cincinnati and the baristas are ridiculously slow. They have beautiful fancy dessert pastries, but again, they're ignoring their morning crowd with few muffins or scones. Pick what you want to be, Awakenings, and stick with it.

excellent, capable staff oversees a modern, but not tooo modern interior that's popular with the hipster set... nice art, too, in case you get tired of peering into yr coffer -- or looking at your laptop.
