Great location, right in the historic downtown area. I ordered the forager pizza and it was delicious... loved the fresh mushrooms and greens. They had a couple of good brews on tap as well. Nothing too fancy but they had good service, food was reasonably priced and it was everything I'd expect in a brick oven pizza joint.

Fairly good pizza with good toppings. The crust was a bit doughy as it could have baked a bit longer. A few beers on tap and the addition of wines in the near future according to the bartender. Blue moon,Fat tire ale,Portsmouth Pilsner, and bud light on tap. Mid afternoon, not very busy yielded a quick turnaround on the pizza. Certainly worth a try, but hopefully they will add more topping options and increase the bake time.

We have ate there 4 times and the pizza is excellent and so is the service. The salads are different and very tasty.

This place deserves the many good reviews it gets. The owners and staff have put a lot of thought into the pizzas with their inventive toppings and thin crusts. Mine had fennel, carmelized onions and Italian sausage. They use a lovely light tomato sauce with finely ground cornmeal worked in. I took a bowl of their gazpacho soup to go and....oh.......oh.....it had a lovely light burn in the mid-section of my tongue. So complex with flavor and the fixings that go with it. The waitress included little tubs of sour cream, green onions and from-scratch croutons. These folks are serious about flavor. This place is easy to find in downtown Chillicothe and you can park, even with an RV, just a block away.

Great location and super nice staff! Love sitting outside when the weather is nice! Thanks for always accommodating my Mediterranean salad with no lettuce! Reminds me of being in Greece- just wish I could have it in a bowl! Will continue to go back!

There is nothing better than finding a local dining diamond. I am a huge sucker for small town, old downtown revival type restaurants. There are so many of these type towns in Ohio with old buildings and entrepreneurs who take a chance and create something unique are winners in my book. Found Fire and Stone on Yelp...a beautiful evening drive over with the windows open in the Challenger; parked right out front in old downtown. Sat at the bar/counter and ordered up a Fat Tire. High ceilings, big windows, narrow profile...prototypical downtown design. Love it! They have a fired pizza oven and after reading reviews knew this was thin crust (yes). It sits in the back and you can see from the counter. Ordered a salad and the DeGarmo pie. The salad wasn't anything to write home about (called Just the Basics) and it was fine. The pizza was terrific however...thin and crispy crust with a generous amount of toppings. Next time i would try something more traditional (mozzarella, basil, etc.) but it was very good. I would have liked the crust to be just a tad more crispy. What a great local place for pizza...next time I'm in town on business I will be stopping back. Really really enjoyed this place.

Three of us went there today for lunch on an outing. The food was all right not too bad. The salad the The other two had had some old Lettuce and at which they picked out The pizzas took over 45 minutes almost an hour to get them they weren't that great but they weren't bad. A little overpriced for what you get service was excellent. The waitress try to get everything out to us but the kitchen was Slow the bar took forever to get a draft beer wasn't the waitresses fault. I made the comment if we were here on my lunch break with be fired. I really don't recommend this place if you're in a hurry maybe it's better at other times but I don't think will be going back.

I have only been there a couple of times, but they have very good pizza. Cooked in a Firestone it is different than any other pizza in town. They had a very limited bar selection, but that can always change. The inside looks very nice.

Stopped in for pizza at dinner. We were half way through a long road trip and this place rated well on Yelp - and we try to avoid the chain places. The atmosphere is good, beer was cold (although a very limited selection on tap with no local brews). The pizza was very good. Hand tossed and cooked basically right in front of you since you can see into the kitchen. The cons...the crust could be crispier on the bottom, and the waitress was a real detraction. Both our pizzas came out incorrectly and she didn't even notice. We pulled her back and she seemed confused on what to do. She also spilled beer into my daughters pizza when bringing it to the table. Finally she sat at the bar for more than 5 minutes chatting with a customer while another couple waited for their check. My advice to the owners - don't let an unprofessional waitress bring down your good concept. There are far too many awesome professionals out there to let that nonsense go on in your nice restaurant.

If you're in the mood for pizza but not a chain restaurant, you need to check out Fire and Stone Pizzeria. Great gourmet pizza at a great price. Dining in is fun, and take out is handy. If you're a meat lover like me, go with the DeGarmo. SO GOOD.
