Fantastic experience yesterday. After seeing them at a chamber of commerce event and getting a sample, we decided to visit the restaurant last night. Glad we did! Had The Destroyer sandwich and it was just plain awesome! Friendly service and it was obvious that the employees like working there which is a credit to the management and owner. I will definitely be back soon as I have a new favorite in Chillicothe.

Not a bad place for some authentic tasting bbq. We had the burnt ends and pulled pork with bacon green beans and fries. The kids all ordered chicken fingers which slowed the pace down a little bit but nothing that should keep us from going back. Portions were generous for the price and a good selection. You have to go outside to go to the restrooms but honestly it keeps it authentic..

Scarlett is right on both accounts!! The girl running the counter was really great and helped me decipher the menu options and the food is definitely tasty. The pros: Super clean dining room and counter top Plenty of space,I'm not sure when this place gets busy but it wasn't today at lunch time. Easy to find with plenty of parking The corn nuggets appetizer was pretty bangin'! You get a ton of meat on the combo plate and it was all DELICIOUS! I ate it all & I feel fat now! The chicken was fantastic...super tender, really moist and flavorful! Their brisket was LEAN! The coleslaw was a winner too. They have a ton of sandwich options and a food challenge taboot. The cons: The three stars is because I would've loved more sauce options...having a few really great homemade sauces says a lot about a BBQ joint and makes them competitive with the place down the street. I felt that the sweet thin sauce they serve is kind of weak on flavor. The mac n' cheese was a little grainy and not super cheesy but I liked it. Lastly, none of the meat was smoked very heavily. I saw a smoke ring but didn't get that taste from hours of smoking. This place is really "family oriented" I guess you could say. It's a diner that serves really good BBQ but when I think of BBQ I immediately wish I had a rib in one hand and a beer in the other. You won't find the latter here but it's worth coming back to. Stop in and give them a shot. The food is legit, you get a lot of it and service is fantastic.

We weren't sure about eating at this place but it has a really nice vibe. The food was really good and our waitress was super friendly. My dad and I both got the pulled pork platter and it was delicious.

I really like this place. It is the closest to southern BBQ that I have found in Chillicothe. I really like the pulled pork sandwich and the corn nuggets are quite tasty. They also have huge speciality sandwiches that are quite the challenge to finish in one sitting.

Absolute worst food I've ever had! Made me sick... :/ terrible service, horrible food with no flavor, canned or frozen sides! DON'T GO THERE!

Some of the best food I've had in a while, can't complain about anything. The mac n cheese is great, prices are fair, staff is nice, the BBQ is very good. If you want a good meal, give this a shot.

Great staff and food :) Would have given them 5 stars but their bbq sauce isn't the style I like.
