Very tasty burgers but not real big. French fries are good, chile cheese fries are amazing all for good price. Also had the peanut butter pie, very good!

Imagine if McDonald's had never become the chain restaurant heavyweight of the world. Instead it happily spent decades as a family-owned operation in an obscure Ohio town, where one family member decorates the restaurant to the hilt in Coca-Cola memorabilia and another maniacally cleans the tables after every customer. You might just have what is present-day The Willow, a great alternative to typical fast-food fare that's every bit as greasy. I stumbled upon this gem while traversing the World's Longest Yard Sale with my two best friends. So we were already on top of the world when we stepped in to this amazing time capsule of Americana. I ordered the Big Fritz (because what the heck even is that?) and we all split a huge order of chili cheese fries. Somehow a delicious serving of cole slaw ended up in the middle of the table. I single handedly took down the coleslaw and I don't even like coleslaw. The burger was good: double decker with quite a few fixins. Really nothing too special... Because the chili cheese fries stole the show. I began a relentless downward spiral of a mouthful of chili cheese fries followed by a mouthful of coleslaw that did not let up until there was no more to be had. Overall a very charming, delicious alternative to chain fast food restaurants with a similar pricing structure. Next time I'm going after the pies. And a double serving of that coleslaw.

We dropped into the willow for lunch. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. While waiting for my burger I saw a piece of peanut butter pie. I ordered a slice of pie and the lady behind the counter refused to sell me the pie until I have eaten my burger. I received my burger it looked like garbage. I took two bites of the poor excuse for a burger, got the ladies attention, and as soon as she looked at me. I threw the garbage burger in the trash. I then ordered the pie (since I was done with the shitburger) the pie was good everything else was a waste of time. I do not recommend. This place sucks.

Love the food. It is fresh and well cooked. The deep fried pickles are wonderful, the soups are great, and the fries second to none. Also, friendly good service. Everything is just done well.

Super small hamburger patties on a fresh bun with toppings. Very slow but friendly service. That's pretty much it.
