Personally, Penn Station is my favorite submarine sandwich establishment. I enjoy the teriyaki chicken sub so much that it is the only sandwich that I've gotten from here. The homemade, "fair style," fries are delicious, but be aware, they give you a boatload of them, so aim a size down. They also brew homemade lemonade, reminiscent of Chick-Fil-A. Prices range from approximately $6 for a 7" sub up to around $9 for a 12" one. Fries and lemonade are both upwards of $2 each for a small. This particular Penn Station appears well maintained, the staff has always been appropriately kosher, and I have yet to encounter a long line. Penn Station, as a whole, takes a little bit longer to prepare your sub, so be prepared to wait a few minutes even if you're the only one there.

Their fresh cut fries are the best. Eating as many as I can before Lent and I give up fried foods.

I am writing a review for one location...the Belden Village location. I was on a lunch break and looking for a good sub. Frankly, I am tired of going to Panera. Beside Panera sits Penn Station. I was thrilled to pop on in and have, what I believe would have been, a great sub experience. Unfortunately, I didn't get that far. I actually had to turn around and reluctantly give my patronage to Panera. I am not sure if I have given a place 1 star yet, but here it goes. I walked in, asked the guy behind the counter if they have Wi-Fi (I had to work during lunch). His relpy, "We do but it has a password and is not for customers." My response, "Really?" What else could I say. My point in reviewing, even though I had not eaten there: I don't want to go to a place that won't share a $40 service with a paying customer. It simply does not seem right. If the owner of this franchise is that cheap, I can't imagine how or what he does do save on cost of food, therefore compromising its quality too. This may not be a touchy subject for everyone, but it is 2014 and a lot of people have to take working lunches. This review is based upon principle.

Lots of chain sandwich shops in the area and this is one of the better ones if you are looking for a cheese steak.

The other people that review restaurants on Yelp are morons. The review the food in general, and not by location. This review is specifically for this locations. If you are going to read one review, read this one! First of all, this store has a giant "no firearms allowed" sign on the front door. You are telling a person who has gone through a rigorous background check, paid a lot of money, and taken course to earn their concealed carry license that they can't come in (and following the law they won't) , but are too stupid to realize that a "no gun" sign won't keep out a criminal with a gun that has done none of those things that doesn't give a crap about the law in the forst place, that they can rob you, because no one lawfully allowed to stop them will be in your store. This is what they call a catch 22. Automatic loss of one star for being a close minded idiot, store owner. Secondly, you have wi-fi, but you (store manager/building owner) tell me that it ian't available to the public because of your contract with your credit card provider, or "PCI" as you said. Some advice, don't lie to your customers faces because you are too cheap to provide the service. I have a college degree and served in two wars. You lose another star for being a liar. I have time warners phone number if you want internet. I'll even have them call your credit card machine company to make sure it's okay...read that last sentence in a child's voice for full effect of sarcasm. Minus one star. You micro-manage your employees (who are VERY nice, BTW), this was painfully apparent from the short time I spent in the store. How about after you hire them, you train them properly, and let them do their job instead of having your nose up their asses every second? 2 stars left They look miserable, and so do you. I haven't seen workers so depressed since the great pyramids of Egypt were built. Ok, so I wasn't there when the pyramids were built, but I did almost turn into a mukmy waiting for my food and had plenty of time to write this review. One star only. So, let's see how the food tastes........ Well, I have to honest, the food is amazing. Just as I remembered. I have been to other locations before and for some reason they can't get the taste right. But my sandwhich is fantastic, my lemonade; delicious. And, the cookie, perfect. This earns you back that 2nd star. Get rid of the sign, be nicer and more efficient, and stop lying to people and you might have a decent shop here.

Great sandwiches. Here are a few tips: 1. My wife and I each got a medium sandwich and shared a medium fries. We were stuffed. Next time we're getting smalls. Note that we are average sized people (average for the U.S., not average for this area which is quite a bit bigger than the norm, truth be told). 2. Don't be fooled by the looks of the bread. It looks half-cooked and plain, but in reality it is very tasty, fresh, and they toast it before they serve it. Good stuff. 3. We both liked the Club over the Philly Cheesesteak.

I heart Penn Station. Every time I go home I eat there. I am trying to get the company to open one in Chicago! Awesome sandwiches that will make you wonder why the hell you bother with Quizno's or Subway.
