This homegrown store is a great place to stop for ice cream and candies. I had a hot fudge marshmallow sundae for less than $5. It was a full sized serving that represented good value. The ingredients were all good. It is very close to a Mexican restaurant that I like to eat at when in town. They have many ice cream flavors and toppings. Their menu is large with many named ice cream dishes. You can sit down and have table service or just get it to go which I did. For ice cream this is where you want to go.

Ice cream is amazing and as good as the Graeters I grew up loving.

Ice cream is always good, although the sundaes are small for the price. Food fare is always very average, and I don't really recommend it. Had the steak platter tonight. Ordered med rare, got a rubber sole. The steaks are 7 oz., very thin, and anything over 45 seconds, literally, per side will just KILL the meat. Saw no use in sending it back. Figured if someone couldn't rea s on through proper cooking the first time, they probably wouldn't the second, either. Since I figured they probably wouldn't let me go back and cook it myself, I decided not to complain. On the other hand, the fries were hot and crispy, and the ice cream is always yummy

This place is a family tradition! I am 27 years old and have been going here ever since I can remember. My parents used to come here when they were married. I currently live in California and every time I take a trip back east, I MUST visit Milk and Honey! My mom has even sent me a shirt from there! This place is wonderful and my favorite is a cherry coke with chocolate ice cream....yum yum!!!!! Can't wait for my next visit home!!

Disclaimer: relations own a notable chain of local ice cream stands. Milk & Honey, for what it is as a classic soda and ice cream parlor, stands alone in the region. Sit down service, rather than pure counter operation, with all the traditional offerings. The trick to understanding what constitutes quality ice cream is not in the mixed flavors, but the standards: vanilla and chocolate. If a restaurant can't produce the staples correctly, the rest of the menu is suspect. Case in point- people used to rave about Coldstone for the mixes. Ever sampled their basic vanilla, chocolate, or sweet cream straight up? No? You should- so you can feel ripped off after realizing what the base product is and why they're so desperate for you to toss $5 worth of candy and fruit into it to cover it up. They're playing up a classic motif using a sub-par foundation. Milk & Honey? No games. Simple, homemade recipes for the ice cream, sauces, and cones, served up in concoctions with portions well beyond fair at prices more than reasonable. The decor hasn't changed in my lifetime, and it shouldn't- it reaches back to a time when our standards were different, and it keeps the business grounded. Walking through the door is like walking into the home of your crazy aunt with all the tchotchkes- sure, she made you the lunatic bunny suit for Christmas, but she also made the best desserts you ever had. In sum: I like their establishment and product better than any of *ours*.

Food just OK - but WAY OVERPRICED! Sure the ice cream is good, to me, that is not all that hard. The last time I was there I felt ripped off and decided that there are too many good alternatives in Canton for me to return to M&H. Nostalgia is fun, but I think the owners are pushing it too far.

We descended on Milk and Honey at 10pm in mid January, undeterred by the frigid temps. In spite of the late arrival, the young staff were pleasant and we were spoon-deep into our splurges very soon. The chocolate soda is gargantuan, but not cloyingly sweet. The smaller dessert-sized sundae, which I enjoyed with the classic vanilla ice cream/hot fudge sauce combo, was still ample and delicious. This place is solid but not pretentious, and honestly quite refreshing in the face of today's self-serve frozen yogurt craze. I would return again for the tasty ice cream parlor experience.

This place is one of the best restaurants in Canton! They also have the best ice cream/sundaes! Definitely worth the trip!

I have come here since I was a kid and it is one place in Canton that has a dessert worth staying around here for. Get the Hot Fudge Waffle Sundae. Do it now. Just stop whatever you are doing and get it. Get it with an ice cream you feel good about, not just vanilla. It is killer with the chocolate peanut butter cup or the coconut explosion. The waffle is fresh made and it is the base for your three scoop sundae. I think everything else here is A-OK but this sundae is so Woo-Hoo! As Good as it gets! that I have to say "Yay! I'm a fan."

What a great place to have an ice cream I just love it. They have a great candy/chocolate selection. I even found an old favorite of mine when I was younger. It was the little dots in different colors on a little white sheet of paper.

This s a fun place to enjoy ice cream and diner-type lunches. The food is good but the desserts are the draw. Shhh, don't tell but on Tuesdays all ice cream treats are BOGO free after your meal. Grab a friend and GO!

Most of the draw for me are the memories of coming with my grandparents and sharing banana splits. The food is inexpensive and tasty if you enjoy diner food (which I do). But the stars of the menu are all the different types of ice cream sundaes. They do not skimp on scoop size or toppings. The service is okay. The staff tends to be comprised of teens working for the first time. The interior I don't believe has been updated in all the years I've been going which is part of its charm, for me.

Top notch burger joint. Really delicious burgers, fries and shakes. Didn't even get to try the candy. I guess we'll have to go back.

Classic ice cream and hot dog like shop. Old fashioned with limited waitress service. They have good selection of chocolate/bakery/nuts to buy and take home.

This place is so charming and cute and CHEAP!!! This is a very great casual place to come for lunch. They have good selection of diner-type soups, sandwiches, burgers and salads. What will really blow you away though is the ice cream selection. This is a true old-school soda fountain ice cream parlor. Their sundae menu is huge and everything looked absolutely delicious. They also have an entire section of homemade candies and chocolates in the store. I wish more places like this still existed.

Took my nephew the other night for an ice cream sundae. With a plethora of ice cream and sundae choices this place rocks! I had the bumpy road sundae which is vanilla ice cream with hot fudge and spanish peanuts. He did a create your own with mint chocolate chip and cookie dough with hot fudge and sprinkles. We were both in ice cream heavy. It's thick, rich, creamy delicious ice cream. Someone told me its from the Ryder dairy, no idea where or what that is, but it is good. I was a bit surprised that the sundaes were so small. My friends ordered a single scoop of their favorite flavor and we didn't get much more in a sundae. Still delicious. I've had the food there before as well, and its not bad. I remember going to Milk & Honey when I was a kids, so is fun to share with my nephews. The decor hasn't been updated since they opened but you can't beat the prices. It's not shi-shi or la-la but is definitely a sweet treat.

My fiance, our one year old daughter and I arrived around 7:30 on a saturday night, they weren't super busy but there were a few people seated. We looked for a clean table but they were all dirty so we just sat down I grabbed a cloth and wiped it down myself. We both ordered waters, a bacon cheeseburger to split, he got a peanut butter milkshake, and I ordered rocky road ice cream in a waffle cone. Before our food was brought out our daughter had spilled my water and our waitress had seen this but blatantly disregarded it. I had to get napkins and clean it up myself. She never asked if I would like another water or even offered to take the empty cup or napkins away. When we had ordered I specifically asked that she wait to bring my ice cream till I was done eating but no more then two minutes after I received my burger she brought my ice cream in a bowl with the cone just sitting on top. She never once checked on us or seemed to even care. Needless to say she didn't get a tip. Our bacon cheeseburger was delicious and the ice cream was nothing special. Also we waited at least 10 minutes to pay our bill, none of them had hair nets on and last but not least no one offered us a highchair I had to get it myself. Overall this place was just very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I agree with Marina. The place is very cheap and the food is good. Even better are their milkshakes, root beer floats and sundaes! I had the Boston Kooler which is like a root beer float made into a milkshake. Yum!!!!!

Excellent choice for quick lunch and ice cream treats; former site of Hol Guern's Dairy; been open since the 60s. May be a bit chilly in the coldest days of winter; if so there's a back room that's sorta hidden from view. Cheaper than Taggart's and really just as good.

This is a decent place to go if all you want is ice cream. If you plan on a meal, plan on waiting for at least 30 minutes for your food unless you are the only people there. They usually only have 1 person preparing food so if there are 5 tables ahead of you it takes a very long time. There food is meh and a bit pricy for what you get. The parking is atrocious. The ice cream is good, but not out of this world. Maybe go if you have a lot of time to kill.
