If you've never tried this place I'd highly recommend it! It is the place to go first for Lebanese cuisine. My family & friends have been going for years and we always have a good meal. My favorite is the Grilled Lamb dinner with garlic sauce!! If your not sure what you'd like, ask your waitress or the owner who is always there to greet her guest!

Doh! Why didn't i see this Yelp deal before we left! I will take it as a sign to come back. Thank You Yelp for another awesome find during our travels. It is a bit of a haul of of 76 however it is worth it. Especially if you are looking to avoid the fast food at the rest areas. The portions are huge and the prices are very good. They have some of the freshest tabulleh and Hummus i have had in a long time. And the lamb gyro is tender and fresh. The patio is the place to be! Love the flowers and the view on the deck. A perfect place to grab food while road tripping.

Too bad the service is way to relaxed bc I loved the food here! Pick up your pace here workers! Great Hummus and Tea!

This is a great little family owned and run place. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. I have previously eaten at Alladins in the region, but this place blows them out of the water. Best tabouli I've had outside of NYC. Chicken fattoush salad was excellent and large with truly grilled chicken - delish!!! Attentive and knowledgable service. Helpful too. I asked for a cup of their house tea unsweetened and they brewed some especially for me. Too kind. Please come support this local gem!

Being new to the area we are making our rounds of the Middle Eastern restaurants in the area and I decided to try Zenobia on a dark and snowy night. The restaurant was quite empty when I arrived and I was greeted promptly when I came in. I decided to try the combo platter that included lamb, kibbee, grape leaves and hummus. All but the lamb was very good, unfortunately the lamb was a little on the tough side and having been spoiled by really good lamb at Mary's in New Castle I was a little disappointed. As it turns out, Mary is the grandmother of the gal that waited on me at Zenobia. Despite my disappointment in the lamb I might have given them 4-stars anyway but once I finished my meal, there was no one to be found to give me my check. After waiting a good 10 minutes, I finall went up to the counter to ask for it and the gal there had to go retrieve my waitress from the other room. I don't mind dining alone but I hate sitting with my empty plates waiting to leave once I am done. Mary's is only a little farther from my home in Poland than it is to go to Zenobia in Canfield so I'll head that way in good weather but in bad, Zenobia is a good second choice.

Incredible food- the potato, dawali, fattoush, tabouli, chicken, all very delicious. Owner is usually there and very sweet. Go on a Saturday night it's busy and sometimes has music and a belly dancer. Very fun atmosphere! Also get the almaza beer "Mexican style"- they squeeze lime in it and salt the rim of your glass.

I just left this place bc my friend needs to go, otherwise i would sit till midnight. Let me start, i had grilled lamb which was perfect, i dunno who is the chief but def. she is a lady because it was really close to my mom's foods. I felt like at home . Atmosphere was awesome, while i was eating i watched the arabica tv. music was awesome. I will def stop by again. Finally i ended up with pistachio ice-cream, i def recommend you to try that ice-cream its very light and tasteful. Thank you guys.

Awesome food, way better than Aladdin's down the road. I had the fresh brewed tea and hummus to start. I have no complaints about either of them! I hade the chicken over rice for my dinner, it had chicken, mushrooms, peppers and onion with a light sauce over rice, amazing. This was the best Mediterranean food I have had in a long time. I will be coming back to this place again, very soon!

This is authentic Syrian cuisine. I've traveled extensively in Lebanon and Syria, and Zenobia Cuisine is the real deal. I've been to the home town of the family that runs this restaurant - they have a picture of a crusader castle from the town on the menu. And the food at Zenobia is better than what you would get in the shadow of the castle. The kibbi is football shaped and delicious - no cookie tray shortcuts for these folks. The zat'r is fresh and tastes of lemony goodness. Their kufta on the rod is yummy and not over done. The Syrian bread is fresh, as is the pita. I also like their yakni over rice. If you're not familiar with Middle Eastern food, the menu can be a bit daunting. But don't let that stop you from giving it a try. You won't find more authentic Syrian cuisine in the area. For those of you that are familiar with New Castle, PA, Zenobia is run by the same family that runs Mary's Middle Eastern Restaurant in New Castle. The menu is very similar and the food is just as delicious. The atmosphere at Zenobia is casual clean. Their light-stained oak tables and chairs give it a classy feel without being over done. The dining area has a couple of TV's playing satelite feeds of one of the Middle Eastern music video channels. The volume is high enough to be good background noise without being obnoxious and adds an authentic modern Middle Eastern atmosphere. There's a side/back room with larger tables for groups with 4 person tables out front. The wait staff used to be all Syrian-Americans - probably family - but not so much anymore. Don't be afraid to ask about any of the menu items. The staff knows what is what and is happy to help. As a little bonus, you can even get a beer or wine with your meal. Last I knew, they even had Almaza (a Lebanese beer) if you want to go native.

It's sad to say this place is a complete rip off. My best friends family and tons of friends who are middle eastern, so I know great food when I have it. Also I live in California where there is a massive area of middle eastern restaurants and I eat at most of them. I had a late lunch there today. I had the marinated chicken plate, it was ok. The chicken was very moist but the rice was absolutely nasty and same with the salad dressing. The rice was flavorless and mushy, and the dressing too over garlicky (I love my garlic) and the lettuce was rotten. The real problem they are way over priced especially for what you're getting. I love the pickled turnips and asked for a few extra and I found out afterward that there would be an extra charge. I was thinking ok like a dollar or two for about 10 little pieces. Oh no they charged me about $3. Sorry I'm never coming back. The server was nice but I know when I'm getting scammed on the price of the quality and quantity. Next morning, my bf and I have horrid FOOD POISONING!! Don't eat here.

We have been patrons of this restaurant since its opening, the food quality was excellent. The portion, size flavor amount of meat was less. We were patrons that went to this restaurant several times a week. We now go there less than once a month. Will try again and see if this review made any differance

Outstanding. As an American of Lebanese descent, it's tough to find what I would consider great Lebanese cuisine. It's somewhat blasphemous to say, but Zenobia's comes as close to my Sitho's (Arabic for grandmother) kitchen as any place I've been. Service from Maria was top notch.

Authentic and amazing Syrian food! I have never tried Syrian food before.. but it's similar to mediterranean.. or greek. The bf had a business trip in Canfield OH and I spent half of the week there with him. We wanted to try out good restaurants around the neighborhood.. I yelped it and came across this restaurant! I'm glad I did!! The waitress there was incredibly nice! She explained the menu in detail. We ordered the hummos with lamb meat - Mashed Chic Peas, Garlic, Lemon and Sesame Oil.. SOOO GOOOOD!!! I can just eat that all day! We then ordered the stuffed Grape Leaves. I thought it was interesting but I was not a fan. Leaves with rice? No thanks. If there was meat in it.. then it'll be my cup of tea. I should've ordered the Kibbie.. from the sound of it, it sounds really good! For entrees, I ordered from the special menu.. got the rack of lambs and the bf got the lamb over rice. His dish was so much better than mine. Maybe it was the veggies that came with it.. but mine was alright nonetheless. The waitress also recommended Syrian wine.. I had the red one. VERY GOOD. So sad I can't go back to try other dishes. Hmm I wonder if there are any good Syrian restaurants in NYC.

Great service - very fast! I love the Baba Ganoush appetizer. The gyro meal was filling but much smaller than gyros I get at the Greek gyro joint in Cleveland. We also had an expensive bottle of cheap wine with dinner.

Great Middle Eastern food! It appears to be family-run and not a chain! Awesome lamb and Syrian tea. It's neat to find a place like this in Canfield. The service was really warm and fast. The restaurant does close pretty early so make sure you come during dinner time.

Another excellent meal last night. The Baked Vegetarian is awesome, though it's only on the menu a few times a year. We eat there at least twice a month, know the staff and owners, they are super great. The place can be busy and loud, but that's the fun of eating at a local family owned ethic restaurant. As we left last might, we both commented how well we're treated and realized we're not customers any more, but rather friends. That's my type of place.

Still trying to stick to my "eat better" New Year's resolution, I jumped on the wife's suggestion that we try the latest "Mediterranean" place in the area. Turns out it's Syrian. All the better, another country's cuisine marked off the list. And this was very good, what I had anyway. The place is deceptively big, with the location in a shopping center making me think more carryout than dine-in, but I was wrong. There's ample seating inside. There's a bar you can sit at that basically overlooks the kitchen, tables in that same area and a back area with tables. It's bullpen style seating. The place is located on US 224 right off St Rt 11. Go west on US 224. It's on the right, past McDos. The service was outstanding. The ordering process started with a waitress that was obviously able and willing to defuse any concerns one might have with a "foreign" menu. There were a couple of other waitresses that stopped by periodically to ensure we had full cups of tea, etc. No booze, so I ordered Iced Tea. The waitress suggested the Syrian Tea. Nice choice, very smooth and slightly sweet. The wife did the same and enjoyed it likewise. I ordered the Tabula Salad as an appetizer. This is my Middle Eastern measuring stick. These guys measured up. Finely chopped, tangy, nothing overpowering anything else and a dinner salad sized portion. Dinner came out promptly, and the place was about half full. I had the Rice Topped with Yakni. This is ground lamb, green beans and a heavenly sauce served over rice. I took half of it home. It cost $4.99. The wife had the 6 Grape Leaves, 1 Kibbee, Tabula and Hummos. The grape leaves were thin and tightly wrapped with a minimal amount of filling, but it was good. I think there was meat in them (I didn't get but one). The Kibbee was very good too, not greasy, tasting quite good dipped in the sauce that accompanied it. We were both too full to even think about the Baklava that waved at us as we left. If the food hadn't been enough to guarantee a return, the Baklava would have. This place is recommended. They are closed on Sundays.

good food, good service. We drove miles off 76 to get here (on the way from Michigan to DC for spring break) and it was worth it! The falafel sandwiches were cold and a little small, but the dinner plates were amazing. I would order from the big menu, not the sandwich menu next time.

A treat in an unexpected spot! The dishes are unique, tasty and healthy. The stuffed Swiss Chard is amazing. To top it all off, when I accidentally left my purse behind and traveled 60 miles, they shipped it to me in my new location.

If You Enjoyed Mary'S Restaurant in New Castle, you will love this place. Almost the identical menu and maybe only $.50 to a few dollar differnce, but I saved that just in gas. It is Canfield on 224 in a strip mall past McDonalds. Great environment, Clean, friendly Staff and Great Middle Eastern Food.
