This is a gem in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. Be careful when you blow through "downtown", the once enormous sign that used to be overhead came down in a storm per the waitress, and nothing at all indicated it was a restaurant other than the drapes and lights visible from the street vaguely suggested the possibility. I passed it the first time around even though I was going perhaps 15 mph! Prices are phenomenal! I got a grilled salmon filet, and choice of two sides, I chose peas, (frozen, not canned), and cole slaw. The lady got a burger, hand cut fries, and cole slaw. (I ordered the latter for her after she commented about how good her taste of mine was.) The salmon was lightly seasoned, but the waitress inquired as to what I would like to dress it, and happily supplied the butter and lemon I requested, and brought more lemon after inquiring if I had enough accoutrements for the fish mid-meal. The ladie's cheeseburger was great as were the fries and slaw and the peas were....peas they were fine as well. The burger did not come with fries or slaw, they were ordered as sides at a bit of a premium, nonetheless the bill came to $17 bucks and change with tax. What?? I'm flashing back to the 70's here! Groovy, baby! Are you goin' to the Hendrix concert? The waitress was efficient and almost over-accomodating, I bordered on feeling guilty about how little it cost to get top shelf service! Who knows if I'll be back this way, but if so I will most certainly stop!
