due to religious and health reasons I asked for the very delicious sounding Elvis pancakes without the bacon. waitress decides to explain to me in her best kardashian voice about how the bacon is cut. I tell her I do not want the bacon and she absolutely refuses to accept my request and tells me " soreeee but the cooks get really mad if we change the food". I would understand if everything was pre made but it's all freshly made. absolutely incredible that you cannot ask for something to be put on the side or be taken off all together. never coming back, at least at Burger King you can have it your way.

Ok Wally Waffle, I forgive you....it seems like the right people have been fired and hired. Since I now live in the square, I've had to deal with this place quite a bit more, if only because I'm often too lazy to drive my fat ass elsewhere. They've improved a lot, and it shows. Not a single step out of place.

I am craving the country fried chicken! it was savory creamy goodness! The gravy was creamy and seasoned well. the chicken fried steak was very crispy, just the way I like it!

My all time favorite place to eat breakfast. Friendly staff, reasonable price, unique menu options. I discovered this place a little less than a year ago and I keep coming back for more. The honey butter waffle is to die for!

I love Wally Waffle! Seriously, it's always busy, clean, and the waffles are fantastic. If you love berries like I obviously do, try the Patriot a waffle. I'm a little sad they stopped the call ahead seating but I think it's worth the wait.

Sausage Gravy, Over N Easy eggs on top of a Waffle with syrup and butter included. What is better then that for breakfast? I love this joint and will try to convince my family to hit this place up in the future. My waffle wasn't quite as buttery and tasty as I like but it is better than most waffle places. I also thought I could have used 1/2 cup more of gravy on my waffle. My wife ordered the waffle breakfast sandwich. I forget the official name but it is a two egg omelette between a waffle. My wife used a little of my gravy to place on her sandwich. She also took the top half off and ate that half as a waffle. The sandwich needed gravy as it was a bit too dry for our taste. The coffee wasnt too bad and their OJ was in a nice big cup. Service was pretty good as I had plenty of coffee refills. Prices were very good. I want to go back and try some other menu items but chances are I would stuck with gravy on waffles as my top selection.

I love Wally Waffle. This is my 2nd time at this location. There's always a line but that's because the food is soooo good! GET THE ELVIS!

Right smack in the middle... The interior really surprised me. I was thinking it was gonna be like IHOP or something. Instead, it was dynamic, colorful and artsy in their own way. The chalkboard paint added some whimsy, too. I wonder if the buildout was from the previous tenant? Anyway, the big Drumm piece was the most impressive thing about my visit. I ordered the chicken & waffles and it wasn't anything to write home about. I've only had chicken and waffles once (from an upstanding place) so the comparison isn't even fair. I ate maybe a third of it because it just lacked any flavor or interest. I added grits for .99 and they put so much butter in them that you couldn't eat them. My son had the Buckeye waffle and tore it up like no one's business. My boyfirend had the Coconut and thought it was just "ok". The cocout was in the waffle batter and didn't add much flavor. Service was ok. Prices were fair for what you get. There was a long line waiting to be seated when we left so call ahead if you don't want to wait.

Stopped by for a quick brunch on Sunday morning. The chicken & waffles definitely hit the spot. Chicken was crispy and the batter was delicious. The waffles are bomb. Wait was about 15 minutes nothing too bad. It's definitely not the best brunch place in town but you get what you pay for. I will probably return just for the waffles.

Good food, bad coffee. The waffles I have tried are all good. You can't go wrong with the special if you don't want waffles. Just stay clear of the coffee.

Went there for breakfast today. Seated immediately, We then waited about 10 minutes for the hostess to take our drink order. She said that the waitress was really busy. She should have said that the waitress was fat, slow, and lazy. Meanwhile, two other tables were seated and had their drinks in front of them before our waitress showed up with our drinks. No greeting, just "are you ready to order?" The hostess brought our food. Other waitresses brought the food to the tables, not sure why ours was unable to. Apparently white bread and sourdough are the same thing, and waffles ordered without whipped topping means you get it anyway. Stay clear of the snausage links! Getting refills on coffee took an act of God. After a nearly $50 breakfast for the four of us, I determined that was all I would pay. I'm still not sure if "Lisa" was the server or the hostess.

I haven't been to Wally Waffle in a few years and this was the first time I had been to the Market Street location. My girlfriend, friend and I waited for about 30-35 minutes for a table on Sunday around 11:30; it was busy which is what I remember, heard and expected. Overall, the restaurant is clean and new, and the service we experienced was great; our waters and coffee were always full. The issue I have is with the food itself. Besides the Patriot Waffle (which if you go, I'd definitely recommend! It was delicious), all of the food was just ok. I ordered the "Big Daddy" breakfast and my grits had entirely too much butter in them. I understand that they need butter but it was way too much. Also, my pieces of sausage and bacon and my eggs were overcooked (sausage & eggs) and undercooked (bacon). I'm not a picky eater or one to criticize, but I know I could get those items cooked the same way at Bob Evans. I didn't have super high expectations, but I did expect a little more especially after waiting 35 minutes and knowing that the prices were higher than most of the other breakfast places in the area. If I ever go back, I'd definitely get the waffles as the Patriot was amazing but I'd prefer to go to other breakfast places such as Sweet Peas, Blue Door or The Eye Opener.

I think I had 3 minor heart attacks in the process of eating my meal, but they were totally worth it. I ordered some chili cheese fries and a "solo burger", to which I added lettuce, tomato, and onions. I know, I know... who goes to a place that has tons of breakfast options and gets a burger?! A fatty who slept in till noon, that's who. The burger was HUGE and had very good flavor. I wouldn't recommend the chili cheese fries though. The chili had a very sweet flavor to it, which confused my tastebuds whom associate chili with spiciness. The plain fries are good though. I went back the next day with a hangover... I ordered the "chicken royal" with fries. This sammich was effing amazing. It was a marinated chicken breast, drowning in melty American cheese. I'm not going to lie and say my hangover was instantly cured, but the joy it provided to my tongue certainly helped to balance out the pain in my head and liver.

Wally Waffle is a delicious greasy spoon in downtown Akron! If you're looking for some delicious breakfast foods, then head over to Wally Waffe. The line can get a little long, but it's worth the wait. The service is fast and friendly, and the food totally hits the spot. Nothing is fancy, but everything is most definitely comfortable. And the prices are on point. Tip: Get the traditional Belgian waffle, but skip the grits.

When I was staying in Akron I googled local breaskfast places, good reviews here so I came.I wish I had one of these places where I live. Its a great idea. I had the waffle with the omelet in between and I loved it. Such a great idea. I try to recreat it at home now every now and then.

Oh my gosh. I met my aunt and brother here for brunch several weeks ago. WOW! What a hidden little gem... in Akron, of all places. There was a bit of a wait, but WELL, WELL worth it! Imagine EVERY single thing in the world, as far as waffle options go, and they have it here! I ordered a pecan waffle with bananas. My bro ordered "What in the Waffle" which is biscuit gravy and eggs served OVER the waffle! WHOA. The waffles are flaky, not overly sweet, and soo good! The space is clean and cool too. The service was incredible - especially for such a busy morning.

The nice thing about this new location in Highland Square is that, unlike the old downtown spot, it stays open til 9 pm every day. The other nice thing is that their pancakes double as a laxative, which comes in handy if you're one of the countless poor hipster schlubs in the area whose daily diet consists primarily of five dollar pizzas from Georgio's and late night beer specials and sandwiches at the Matinee/Zub's. If you're in no need of any sort of dire gastrointestinal assistance, Wally Waffle is still a pretty good place for typical greasy breakfast fare. The waffles are their specialty (obviously), and they have quite a tasty variety. The aforementioned pancakes are the size of frisbees, and about half the fun in a beach or college campus setting. Seriously, they drop like bombs. There are some burgers and sandwiches and salads too, if that's your bag. The interior is small and bustling, which means you will most likely have to wait during the breakfast and brunch hours on the weekend. The waiting area is a hallway that can get pretty cramped during the busy times.

I've been to Wally Waffle a handful of times and overall it's okay. This time I got the Chicken Delight sandwich and it was pretty good, nothing spectacular. In the past I've gotten their blueberry pancakes and they are pretty good as well, but they are HUGE. Unfortunately there is always a long line on Saturday and Sunday mornings/afternoons (usually like 30 mins). I'd go here again, but I think there are better breakfast joints in Akron.

Went on a Saturday morning. The wait was about 20 minutes during the prime part of breakfast. The staff was great, the restaurant was clean and open. The food was excellent. I had the Waffler which was basically egg and sausage between waffles. It was really good and the price was only $8. Highly recommended.

Waffels, waffels with chicken, waffels with honey butter, waffels with eggs and bacon, just plain waffels! How can you pass up chicken and waffels? Well I can't. All the plates are empty, so there are no pictures. Wally's Waffels is a great place to eat.

Lazy, tasteless and the worst service I've had in a very long time. My girlfriend and I were the ONLY patrons on a Sunday afternoon. Instead of being bombarded with bored servers, waiting on our every need, we saw 1 of the 3 waitresses a total of 3 times: 1: To take the order (she was unprepared and had to go find her notepad halfway through giving our order) 2: When she brought our order 3: When she came back with our check (not even done eating at this point). Mind you, we didn't prompt her for the check. In fact, by this time, I was so parched from eating dry, tasteless food, all I wanted was for her to perform the barebones basic task of the food service industry and recognize that she never refilled our drinks once. But no such luck. My girlfriend was kind enough to do part of the waitresses' job herself and let me finish her drink while I continued to let this disaster of an experience run it's course. The rest of our server's precious time was spent moseying around the empty tables, in an endless daze. The Wally Fries were burnt to a crisp with 2 pieces of processed Kraft cheese slapped on last minute. The blandest home fries I ever tasted. My waffle was overdone. Not horribly so, but enough to kill any true flavor it might've had under an experienced chef. This made a list on Facebook for being one of the top 15 places to try in Akron. How it ever made that list is a mystery.

Aside from the insane line that waits outside to get in, this is a great restaurant. When mentor burger was in this location, it was always empty. Wally waffle definitely fills a need in highland square. The food was fast, service was great and it was a great experience. The reason for four stars instead if five is because they don't have much of a waiting area and it can get very claustrophobic. Other then that, we will be back!

Have been going to WW for years. New location offers the people waiting for a table more eye candy with neighboring shops and Market St traffic. Less seating than the old location however it "feels" cleaner and fresh. More window seating is bonus. Wait staff solid and so is the food. Chicken supreme is excellent. marinated and grilled chick breast instead of bacon or sausage as protein. Waffle variety satisfies every craving. Personally, I go with the chicken and waffle! A stalwart!

Decided to check this place out, and I'm so glad we did. I had the Elvis waffle, and my boyfriend had the Cocoa Nut pancakes. First off, the waffle was great! And how do they get the peanut butter in the middle? The pancakes were equally great, and HUGE. For the price and the quality, it's a great find. We'll definitely come back.

WAFFLES! For breakfast, for lunch, for dinner! These waffles are crazy...bacon inside, pudding and peanut butter on top! Crazy! We usually go as a group and the cut our waffles and share with everyone. There can be a wait, but it is never too long. I have never really had anything else on the menu, but I know they have huge bugers, but WAFFLES! !!!! The staff also wears OSU shirts or Browns shirts when the teams are playing, I just think it is cute.

I always thought chicken and waffles were kind of a weird mix but my girlfriend ordered them and they were actually really good especially the chicken. Wings and legs were kind of small though. And the wait is really long about half hour for brunch. Southwestern omelette is ok.

I'm from out of town, I found this place and they were excellent, fastest service I've had, I ordered and within minutes my food was on the table. Tasted fresh and it was great. My server was Stacy according to my receipt. 5/5 stars. Would recommend!

Good food. I typically do not dine at breakfast Establishments that don't serve mimosas but while in Akron during a holiday weekend my choices were very limited. This is a cute place, I believe a chain, with pretty good food. I had the waffle with honey butter and fresh sliced strawberries. The waffle was light and airy with a crisp exterior, not doughy and chewy like some Belgium waffles. The strawberries were fresh and plentiful, the Honey butter is butter whipped with honey, very nice topping for my waffle. The bacon was thick and crispy, almost taste like it was deep fried :) My honey had an omelette filled with peppers, onions chorizo and cheese, a very good combination. Unfortunately, the grits need work, good texture but no flavor what so ever. Freshly brewed iced tea was good but watered down. Service was good, even though we waited a long time for a table due to the staff being in the back chit chatting.

My kids love it. The latest creation is a pumpkin waffle. A big hit. The spinach salad was surprisingly good for a Waffle place. I only come here because of my kids. The southwest omelet was a good size, but had uncooked peppers and onions in it. I don't mind so much, but it makes me think the cook hasn't eaten one himself. A couple minutes on the griddle softens them up, warms them, and removes moisture that makes the omelet a little wet.

WW Should have been here to begin with as it is always busy, unlike that Metro Burger place. Anyway, WW is pretty damn amazing. I like their What In The Waffle? Which is a waffle filled with bacon pieces (I asked for turkey bacon), topped with 2 over-easy eggs and sausage gravy (which I also ask for on the side). The waffles are sweet but not too sweet and this is the perfect combination between sweet & savory. My husband ended up getting a regular breakfast (no waffles) and he kept asking for bites of my breakfast.

Another check for a breakfast place tried. Do I get a trophy or something now? ;) Wally Waffle was introduced to us by some friends so since they highly recommended, off we were. Our first & second visits were VERY different (crowd different) so at first impression I thought my friend was nuts. As she quoted, "this is pretty much where all the families go after church" UM. Not the crowd at all but hey, I don't typically judge a crowd by a restaurant....unless it was so loud this day, I could barely hear my dining buddy because everyone was screaming. ANYWAYS. The service was good and the food came quickly. I had the eggs benedict which I enjoyed. Truthfully, I'd go again but since finding a new, favorite breakfast place (blue door), I don't go to many other places anymore.

We ordered two of the specialty breakfast items. I forgot their names but one was a two egg omelet sandwiched in between a folded belgian waffle, and the other had two eggs, hash browns, pancakes, and sausage. The two items could easily feed four people! The service was friendly and relatively fast for a Father's Day brunch. There isn't much on the menu if you are looking for healthy options, but they do have lots to choose from, including lunch items. I hear they have some great burgers. I didn't think the breakfasts were anything spectacular, but we did enjoy our meals.

Went here for brunch on a Saturday and got seated immediately. Service was alright, but the food was incredible. The other half and I were stuffed! I look forward to our next trip. I encourage everyone to check this place out...well, maybe not! It's already pretty busy!

This is heaven for a fat girl or a foodie... I am both! Anytime I travel from DC to Akron there is always one thing on my mind. FOOD!!!! Wally Waffle is by far one of my favorite places to eat in Akron. The service is always extremely friendly and fast. This past time I went to Akron over the 4th of July weekend I decided to go to Wally Waffle two days in a row. I got the What in the Waffle - one word OHMAZING!!! stuffed with bacon and topped with sausage gravy and sunny side up eggs it was a real treat. It was sweet and salty and for once (very rare) I ate ALL OF IT. The second day I got the Elvis waffle... OMG so good. A waffle stuffed with peanut butter and topped with bacon, honey, and bananas ughhh I don't even want to know how many calories I consumed. My other favorites from Wally Waffle are the Apple Pie waffle and the Mexican omelet.

Pleasantly surprised by this place- I expected it to be a little gimmicky or too similar to Denny's but it really was much better than you'd expect. We did have to wait 25 minutes for a table on a Sunday late morning, but that's to be expected considering how small the seating area in this place is. Fortunately the area roundabouts is very walkable, so we took the 25 minutes to stroll around the library and market next door. Inside, the restaurant is bright and feels welcoming. Our server was extremely friendly, and gave us great service. We ended up ordering the country fried steak and an oatbran waffle. Both were delicious, especially the country fried steak- probably the best I've had. The waffle was also good- cinnamony but not too sweet and very fluffy. My only gripe is that I felt spending close to $7 for one waffle is a little ridiculous, but outside of that I did think their breakfast platters were fairly priced. At the end of the day, I don't see myself going out of my way to come here often, especially knowing there will likely be a wait on weekends, but I would recommend to fellow breakfast lovers that are in the area.

Chicken N Waffles, I mean it is a simple pleasure that many laugh at or simply just think is "crazy" for some reason or another. Was it the best I had, nope, but am I going to return for more, Hell Yes! That stated, the place was not to bad at all. Long lines to be expected, wait avg about 15+ mins. Food quickly arrives and the menu seems to be big enough to keep a wide range of people happy and give picky eaters a ton of options. Waffles were exactly what I'd expect. The chicken was fried nicely, very juicy with a batter that was a tad sweet and salty. This is basic american breakfast, though I did notice they also had burgers and other sandwiches. Do I dare try this someday? Not sure... to me I likely will stick with what is in the name of the place, waffles, and other breakfast related items. Though I might find myself adventurous and trying a burger some day...

Eh. It's not terrible. Not particularly good, either. Waffles are good--I'll give them that. Everything else is mediocre at best. On the other hand, for soaking up the booze on a Saturday morning, it's perfect. Provided you can find a table. The wait can get pretty hefty. My biggest beef with this joint is that I was audaciously served burnt toast once. WHAT? Okay, it was 7:30PM. But toast isn't hard to screw up. And if you DO screw it up, it's easy to fix. Here, I'll show you: 1) Throw out burnt piece 2) Open bag of bread 3) Get new piece 4) Put in toaster 5) Remove before turns black It's not like I asked them to bake me a new loaf made of special spelt flour tenderly cultivated in Spain. It comes from a bag. From, like, Costco. It's probably Schwebel's. And it also takes about 2 minutes to make, so I can handle that wait. AND! Get this: they had the utter gall to cover up the burnt toast with non-burnt toast. What, did you guys think I wouldn't find it under there? Maybe I'm making a big deal out of toast. I just feel like burnt toast is unacceptable at a breakfast place! AND IT'S SO EASY TO CORRECT! I just couldn't believe it. Other stuff: the hashbrowns were a bit soggy. My bacon was, unsurprisingly, burnt along with my toast. Maybe I missed that memo. Sigh. Oh, well. At least it's relatively clean?

You can find many better brekky spots in Akron than Wally Waffle. This place is relatively cheap, but the food is bland, boring...Nothing special. The pancakes are like card board. Good thing for Wally, the waffles aren't half bad. Service isn't great, but it isn't horrible. I'm quite certain they give me cream in my coffee when I request fat free milk. Check out First Watch, Eye Opener, Blue Door and the Original Pancake House (in Woodmere) for better breakfast options!

I love Wally Waffle. This is my 2nd time at this location. There's always a line but that's because the food is soooo good! GET THE ELVIS!

I'm from out of town, I found this place and they were excellent, fastest service I've had, I ordered and within minutes my food was on the table. Tasted fresh and it was great. My server was Stacy according to my receipt. 5/5 stars. Would recommend!

This place has some good waffles along with good service. The chicken n waffles is a solid choice for brunch. However, the rest of the food such as the omelets, Wally fries (aka hash browns), and sandwiches are okay...not special. I felt the Wally fries were worthless, but maybe they'd be better if I got them "loaded". I'll probably return to this place a few times because of the prices and its so close to home.

I really enjoyed eating breakfast at this place! I ordered the oatbran waffle and hungry something meal that had the two eggs, two meats and hashbrowns etc. it was flavored very well, it had a big quantity of food, the service was great - our server was attentive and was back and forth a good amount of times. The atmosphere was busy. The wait wasn't very long but there was a wait. If I was back In This area I would most definitely return.

A stalwart!

Went here for brunch on a Saturday and got seated immediately. Service was alright, but the food was incredible. The other half and I were stuffed! I look forward to our next trip. I encourage everyone to check this place out...well, maybe not! It's already pretty busy!

This Wally Waffle moved from the location downtown by Children's to the spot where Metro Burger used to damn near grease-fire you out of the building (poor ventilation it seemed). The spot is pretty chill. It's small - they didn't have a palatial area to work with - but they made good use of the space with booths and tables while fitting in a place for you to sit while you wait for people to stop rubbing it in that they're eating and you're waiting. We got carry out the last time we went, and I waiting 20 minutes past the 20 minutes they told me I'd wait, but the place is just open and I'm sure they're working a kink or two out before all the gears in this delicious machine mesh and the place hums along. Chicken and waffles. Waffles by themselves. Pancakes. Cheesy, spicy potatoes. Go for it all!

Awesome. Awesome, awesome, awesome. On a Saturday morning there was a bit of a wait but it was well worth it. Service was fast, friendly, and our server Jamie was one of the best I've ever had. Extremely friendly and checked in just enough to be attentive, not annoying. The food was SPECTACULAR. This place puts waffle in its name for a reason. The waffle is flaky, light, sweet, and downright delicious. Lots of food for the money as well. Overall, great value. Great service, beautiful atmosphere. A must-go place I'll definitely revisit.

Took a leisurely drive from Broadview Heights after seeing this restaurant featured on a Cleveland tv program featuring restaurants know for tasty breakfasts. Arrived near lunch time but all breakfast items available. Pleased that my Belgian Waffle could be enhanced with fresh strawberries and not an overly sweet compote. Presentation was surprisingly attractive given my rather plebeian order. My waitress was very attentive and remembered - as many do not - that I ordered decaf when she refilled my mug. Would definitely bring the family to enjoy the other breakfast items.

Skip Denny's and come to Wally's for the best waffle in town. The price is right, the staff is friendly, and the presentation is top notch (see my photo of the Liberty Waffle). The hours are a drag, but you can't blame them for catering to their corporate neighborhood. The Wallhaven location is sorely missed.

We LOVE this place! I have been going to the Tallmadge location since childhood and was so excited when I discovered an alternate location in Akron. Yes, the waffles are wonderful! The pancakes are amazing! But you MUST try the wally fries. Shredded, crispy, oh-so-not-good-for-you goodness!!! Now, it may be childhood nostalgia that makes me loves this place so much, but my child was quite happy with her first visit. The only other thing that makes this place the best is the price! Have to love the price!

The food here was very good, but the service was poor. We waited for our food (two of us) long after larger groups that were seated after us. The waitress spilled water on the table. After receiving our food, we waited a few minutes before silverware was provided. Waffles and eggs were enjoyed. We waited quite a while for our waitress to check on us and provide a bill.

My spouse and I ordered the chicken (cut up pieces instead of tenders which were also an option) and waffles. We both enjoyed the fried chicken as it was well seasoned and moist inside. The waffle was not as crisp as I would have liked but did have a good flavor. Our server was attentive and friendly. We would return to Wallys. They are opened everyday till 8pm now. Update : This place is under new management and has re-opened after several weeks of closing due to a kitchen fire. I've not been back since then but I'm sure they're not opened until 8pm now. I will update with their new operating hours soon.

Forget those breakfast national chains like Denny's, IHOP, Waffle House. Wally Waffle is a local chain with great breakfast and they also serve lunch. Obviously, waffle is their signature item and It was not disappointing. Better than most waffles out there and nice presentation. Lots of different type of waffle to pick from. Wally fries was also tasty and a good side to add to your meal. Whether you are hungover or not, this is an excellent place for breakfast.

I'd heard Wally's was the place for breakfast in Akron, so we headed over to the Locust St. location at about 8:30 a.m.on a weekday. Verdict: room-temp waffles, sub-par coffee, and decent OJ. Adequate service (there were only 3 other customers). Bill for 2 identical breakfasts (with tax) totalled nearly $20, which seemed pricey. Sorry to report that we will not be back.

We loved this place! This morning was our first time and it was great. My husband had a pecan waffle and ham, i had the weekday special (2 sausage, 2 eggs, hash browns -loaded!, toast) and our 3 and 4 year olds shared 2 strawberry pancakes. All of it was great. The pancakes were as big as a dinner plate and the girls could have split one! My special was soooo filling and smothered hash browns are the way to go! The waffle was crispy and fluffy at the same time. Our total was under 25$ and we were all stuffed! (and our waitress was nice and just attentive enough) We will return and try lunch next time. I love that it's 2.3 minutes from the zoo (we have a family pass) so this may become a habit we can walk off after being stuffed!!!

The PERFECT hangover spot, to meet your friends and gossip about the night before. So much to choose from that nobody can really complain. There are some good light options, but if you've had a rough night- you NEED the chocolate chip pancakes with cream. Add some black coffee to the mix and you'll feel so much better! Really friendly service, and the servers are really attentive. There can be a little bit of wait time on occasion, and parking can be a mess, but I have a very special place in my heart for Wally Waffle.

It's ok. I love Chicken n Waffles, and try everywhere I can. I heard of this hole in the wall, so decided to try it. Waffle is big and fluffy, but the chicken is from a Tyson's bag or something similar. The menu can be difficult to navigate, so I ordered based on muscle memory of my requests for waffle add ins. If you get the official chicken and waffles, they are bone-in; I like mine boneless, but the bag of chicken bites does not change.

The place was packed when we arrived. The wait was about 25 minutes. After being seated, it took 40 minutes for the food to arrive.

Been to breakfast here a few times. Love their food. Their service has always been pretty good as well. Prices are reasonable. This is always a great place to go in downtown Akron.
