This place is the old Vickie's Lounge. Someone finally decided to put that old place out of it's misery and try something a little more fresh. I have to give the new owners credit for trying--they cleaned the place up, put in some nice new TVs and have opened up the front of the bar to include a nice open patio area - which is nice for the the smokers. Was curious about the "Zodiac" name, at first. Half-expected Super Fly, Shaft or Foxy Brown to roll in here and order a 40 of Olde English 800. "What's your sign?" Oh well, never mind... Programing is back as well, with karaoke, live music some nights and even a Thursday night "Bike Night" ...which seems to have gotten off to a pretty good start. Nevertheless - everyone is welcome, prices are affordable and the crowd is somewhat of a step up from the old Vickie's crowd. Service is good - bartenders are cute - place doesn't smell like a dumpster anymore. Not a bad addition to the Triplett "Strip" across from the old Rubber Bowl...
