This place was amazing from the moment I walked in. The bartender, Jeremy, was attentive and set me up with the local brews. I hung around for the dinner special which was incredible. Salmon, potatoes and spinach. If your lucky, the owner of the Akron Rubber Ducks will come in for a bite and you can meet him. This bar is in right field of the baseball stadium and open to the public during the games. No ticket required as long as you stay on their patio. But for $5 general admission, you can wander in and out. Open all day, even if there is no game. Great way to see the stadium if you happen to come through on a day when there is no home game.

What a nice surprise at the new Rubber Ducks stadium. Stopped in for brunch and had great time with the friendly staff. Tons of people coming in 2 hours before the game for lunch too. I had strawberry pancakes. Huge portion...one cake would have been filling. Prices are reasonable. Decor is contemporary with exposed brick and brushed aluminum lighting. This place is just another reason to come on out to the ballpark!

Was in from out of town for the weekend and came here for brunch on a Sunday morning around 10. Perfect morning for outdoor dining and we were seated on the patio area which overlooks the ballpark. I order the "Two Eggs Double Play" which is a great deal for only $6. There are a lot of choices on this one......I got two eggs, a generous serving of 5(!) pieces of thick cut bacon, hash-browns, and two slices of cinnamon raisin toast. The other people at my table got the Three Egg Chili Cheese Dog Omelet (excellent) and the fried Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich (pretty good but maybe a little dry). Overall I thought the prices and food were great. Looking forward to returning to try out some of the lunch and dinner options. Glad to have a new restaurant with some unique menu items in downtown Akron!

16 of us came in after friend ran in the GG9 marathon. Has to be the worst experience I've had in a restaurant!!! 4 plates were served then 10 minutes later 4 more, 5 minutes later 3 plates were delivered. I could go on about the service, management and lack of leadership this place does not have. Do yourself a favor avoid!

Great space! Right on the edge of Canal Park. I love the layout and decor of this place! We went here Saturday after the Duck's game and ordered beers and food. Our waitress was not good at all. She had a very dull attitude and was acting like she was only there to make a paycheck and we were inconveniencing her by making her work. She talked way too quietly so we couldn't hear what she was saying. When she brought our food out, she disappeared immediately so we couldn't tell her what was missing from our plates. So we sat there and waited for her to come around again to ask for those items and our food got cold. She finally came around to see if we needed refills on our drinks and we asked her for the missing items. She didn't say anything, she just walked to the back and got them. Then we never saw her again until we got our checks. The checks come in tiny mailboxes which look absolutely ridiculous. They should get rid of them. They make no sense. When we finished filling out our receipts, she came by and took them instead of waiting until we left. It was a bit awkward with her knowing how crappy of a tip we left. She definitely gave us the stink-eye until we left. Oh well, give better service and you'll get a better tip! That's how this works! I realize people have bad days but this didn't seem like just a bad day. Also, they had the door open to the deck area becuase people were sitting out there but it was way too chilly for that! There were people sitting out there for the game but the rest of us wanted to be inside to warm up a bit and enjoy our dinner. The food was just ok. We tried a burger, waffle fries, and wings. The wings were the best part. Perfectly cooked. The burger was bland and severely overcooked. We asked for medium and got well done. The waffle fries were way overseasoned. Overall, we'll probably only come back for the beer. The food is nothing special. Overpriced if anything.

Food was "ok". We went for the buffet, but the food wasn't hot even though it was under the buffet server things. $20 all you can drink mimosas and bloody Mary's. Good deal!

Nice place overall. I only got one drink (no food), but it was pretty good and reasonably priced. It was the "Peanuts and Quackerjacks Cocktail", and it was VERY strong. The atmosphere is nice, as it a very open place and you can see Canal Park from your table. The only complaint I had was that it took seriously 20 mins for the waitress to come back with our drinks. I didn't really mind because my girlfriend and I were in no rush and got caught up in conversation. That being said, I'll assume that doesn't happen too often and will definitely go here again.

Went on a Tuesday for dinner. Located on right side of the main entrance to the field. Parked right across the street on the street at the meters. Dinner for 6 took about 2 hours, and it was $1/hr to park there. Upon entry, the staff was friendly. It was a warm day, and they have a full wall of windows that can completely open up on the street side and on the field side. They had all the street side ones open. Downside to that is: our table and chairs were covered in a fine dirt as were the floors. When the wind blew or a bus went by it would blow in more. I asked the server if he could wipe down the chairs and table before we sat and he did so w/o a problem. We requested the windows to b shut because it was just so much dirt blowing in, and they did shut them and other servers did immediately clean all the other tables and floor. Onto the food. Our server was nice, but could not tell us what was good on the menu cause he has not tasted but one thing he said. I love when a server can tell me about the menu and what's good! I got a key lime martini with a graham cracker rim, loved it. Got the soup of the day, a roasted red pepper with goat cheese, and I loved this! I got the Mac-n-cheese with blackened chicken. When presented with the dish, I thought they forgot the chicken cause I only saw noodles, I expected to see slices or hunks of chic in it, but it is a fine shredded chicken mixed in. It was good, but not outstanding. With blackened chicken I expect a little more flavor, I requested a side of hot siracha sauce to mix in for a boost of flavor. Others at my table got burgers and they all loved them. Everyone was a part of the clean plate club and the seasoned waffle fries that came with the burgers were so yummy! One other person at our table got the corned beef and they said it was very good. Although it seemed to me to not have a whole lot of meat on it. Also the Caesar salad has a pretty good dressing but seemed a bit on the lemony side. Overall, I will go back to try some other dishes. A lot of duck on the menu and the duck bacon BLT is what I want to try next time.

Staff was horrible! Took forever to get seated even though there was maybe 3 other parties there! Took forever for the drinks to come out and our waitress was horrible, she never checked on us so we had to get the attention of the guy serving the table next to us because he checked on his table probably 8 times throughout out meal! Burger was cold and runny and I drank all my water so I had to wait a good 10 to try and flag down are waitress for WATER!!! The worst service ever!! The food would've been good if I weren't so mad about the service!

My husband and I went to the Game bar tonight for dinner before the Rubberducks game. It was the worst food I've ever had at a restaurant. We went there with intentions to get dinner but after our appetizer (chicken nachos) were served we were thankful we didn't order our meals. The chicken was chicken from a can, literally drained and poured over the chips. They were disgusting. Bland and disgusting. Our waiter was wonderful, such a sweet guy and very friendly. We didn't tell him how horrible the food was because he was so sweet, however, we did leave it on the comment card. We will never go back which is sad because we were really looking forward to spending the evening there watching the game.

I've eaten here maybe a dozen times now. Love the food. Service has always been good. I like having breakfast the best (their house-made sausage is exceptional) but had some great curry soup for lunch the other day. Most times I'm there for a business meeting, but I like going with my wife too. Her favorite is the pancakes. I think the prices are very reasonable.

Best burgers in Akron! The "Eggcellent" burger was nothing short of excellence! Their burgers are a blend of ribeye, brisket, and ground chuck. Mine was cooked perfectly right down to the fried egg and pork on top! The side of waffle fries was also great! I highly recommend this place for burgers!

I'm torn on my review. The food was not bad; I've had worse. But really the thing that stood out the most was the customer service-or lack thereof. Our waiter was nice enough, but we saw him 2 or 3 times at most. When all your glasses go empty, that's not a good sign. They were not busy at all; maybe a quarter of the tables had people. Maybe. And I honestly think we were his only table. Plus, usually you see a manager wandering around. Nope. I'm big on customer service and this place was just really lacking. Enough that I didn't really even notice the food that much.

Do not order to chicken Toco it is dry and they don't have salsa to go with it and the black bean juice runs onto your soft Toco but the manger was great with fixing the problem.

Well I was really excited to go here but it was top to bottom a bad experience. My family stuck it out - the table next to us left without getting their food. My family went for brunch. My dad and I asked about the bottomless bloody Mary's which is $15. Our server told us each drink costs $3 so we would have to drink 5 to make it worth it. We opted not to do that obviously. The bloody Mary's were actually $6.50 but even after double checking the price, our server said they were $5.25. Our drinks took forever. Then she finally took our order. I got the eggs Benedict with avocado. The server claimed this was her favorite dish. All five of our meals took a very long time and were not hot when the plates arrived. My eggs Benedict was terrible. While one egg was properly poached the other was very hard. At which the server asked how I wanted the egg over easy not knowing eggs benedict comes poached. The new egg came out disgustingly undercooked. Mercifully, my dish was comped. My mom duck omelet was lukewarm and overdone. Terrible.

To be fair "The Game" has only been open for three days so they are still working out the kinks but a 30 minute wait for soup, salad, burgers, chicken fingers, wings, and a hot dog is inexcusable. We were the only table waiting for food and were told when we asked, no one at the restaurant acknowledged or apologized for the wait, that it was due to the wings taking a long time to cook. When the food came the wings were cold, no way they were holding up the rest of the order. I understand that things happen especially when you just open, but keep me in the loop. Tell me when I order the wings that take a long time. Check in and let me know the food is taking longer than it should and that you just opened. Also as a restaurant that just opened the manager should be checking with every table especially when only one or two tables have people at them to handle any hiccups in the kitchen or from the waitstaff as they all figure it out. The explanation of "we tracked wait times this afternoon when we had a large crowd and the longest wait was fifteen minutes" does nothing to diffuse the fact that I had to wait this evening. Had he checked in before we were walking out the door perhaps he could have made it so we only had to wait 15 minutes too. Having said all that, the food was good and based on that and that they just opened I'm sure we will give them another chance. Let's call this strike one and maybe two of three.

I once went in for breakfast because I had a coupon that said breakfast is available from 7:00-11:00 and we walked in around 10:15-10:30 so I figured that we had plenty of time to use it. I told the server about the coupon but she said that the kitchen stops making breakfast at 10:30 and said "sorry about the confusion". I told her that it's not 11:00 yet. We decided to order lunch anyway but we should've just left because of being disappointed. I saw we had time before it expired so we came back for breakfast and got there around 10:00 but a sign on the door said that it was a busy weekend from the Akron Marathon and that their employees were on a "well deserved break". I was simply speechless and frustrated. I was so upset that I ripped the coupon. I knew we couldn't come back because of work in the morning even though our employees need a "well deserved break" because we also get busy sometimes. I couldn't believe that we were unfortunate after 2 trips with the same coupon. We also have to travel a bit to get there and we did that twice. I told my friend who was with me that we are never going out of our way to go there again unless it's for a game if ever. It's fine that we missed an opportunity like this but it's just the little stuff that really bothered me, especially when it could've been easily avoided. I felt that the restaurant isn't very busy and is a small business so doing the little for customer service can go a long way and that is a big help. Since it was a small issue that can be easily avoided makes me more frustrated about it.

Terrible terrible customer service! We had a party of six - first - each draft beer we tried to select from the list we were told "we're out of that" - we were never offered water and it took forever to get our drink order - so when the waitress returned we placed our order - mine of which was the most simple out of the entire group. Finally, the meals arrived - all except mine! The waitress said she would return with my order immediately. Long story short - she did not return - I walked up to her taking another table's order - so asked where my meal was - she stated she would check on it - after waiting another 15 minutes - another server brought my burger - it was raw! I asked for a Manager - one of the managers came over which was also the hostess - she took my meal away - 10 minutes later I was served a burger which was completely different than the one I originally ordered and so well done it was like cardboard! Plus two from our party went to the restroom which had no toilet paper! I later found out there was another manager - Chris - we saw him at one point come toward our table - had a disgusted look on his face - and before he got to us - turnaround and leave! I was told by the hostess/manager that I would not need to pay for my meal - but it seems the waitress was not aware of this - because she said she would bring my bill - I stated "I'm not paying for this" and she said "Oh yeah, o.k." It seemed to me everyone was overwhelmed - but the place was not that crowded! I would hate to see them if they were swamped! Well, I won't because I'm not going back!
