We were in town for the DMB show at SPAC this weekend and were walking around in downtown Saratoga and were told this place has the "best breakfast in town. Hands down!" The place had a great atmosphere, great staff, and wonderful food. I ordered the breakfast bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese and it was on point! A buddy ordered the eggs Benedict (salmon style) and it was the best he's ever had. The manager was awesome and she gave us insight into the town of Saratoga and told us what to do/where to go.

Bar raised again in Saratoga-fine dining capital of Upstate NY. Excellent hostess and service. Try the fried oysters with caviar and look for lobster app. Salmon and bass excellent as were all Korean entrees. Only negative is parking because this area of Saratoga is packed with bars & fine dining.

Several of us about 40 probably went here after our friend's wedding finished at the Polo Grounds. Service was friendly, drinks were fine, and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Maybe they rented it out? I didn't realize this place has Korean fare. I would try the food next time I am in town. It was walkable from our hotel which was great.

$1 each oysters at the bar, any day, definitely gets our attention. So on a couple of recent trips to Saratoga we stopped at Mingle on the Avenue to slurp down our share. While I don't recall where the oysters were from, it was a different region on each trip, and they were fresh and delicious both times. While we probably could have just ordered another dozen, or two, each evening to make a meal out of them, we decided to also try some dishes that we had not tasted here before. Possibly the most tasteful of the dishes so far has been the Roasted Mushrooms ($14). They are so delicious they will definitely be on our list to be ordered again soon. Hen of the Woods mushrooms were roasted in a vegetable broth, and served on a bed of truffled cauliflower puree with pea shoots, toasted hazelnuts, and a crispy soft-boiled egg that is coated with what I believe was panko. Finally, the dish is finished with a brown butter sauce. I'm beginning to crave it as I write this. A special one night was Carnitas ($12) and my wife choose them with pork. Served in a twin taco stand, they were easy to eat since the filling of meat, cheese and salsa was held in soft, folded corn tortillas, eliminating that messy taco-breaking and falling apart experience. The pork was tender, moist and full of flavor and the crumbling cotija on top added another note of flavor. The only disappointment was the empty space on the plate between the carnitas and the garnish of radish and lime wedges. One night I finally got to try the Mingle Burger ($12). Ask for it medium-rare and that's what you get. The burger is a blend of short-rib, chuck and sirloin, with a nice crispy grilling on the outside and a soft, un-compacted, juicy center. Even the fresh, soft, juice retaining, brioche bun added to the enjoyable experience of devouring this burger. Yes, there is a slice of melted cheddar cheese inside, and two miniature pickles skewered to the top of the bun, and the hand-cut fries were good enough that they could have chosen to call them frites. I have to say that I wouldn't know a good truffle aioli even if it were prepared by an Iron Chef, but while I thought this one tasted pleasant, I still preferred to enjoy the fries naked. Of the various desserts that were available, the Pistachio Baklava ($9) was excellent, not too sweet, but I was absolutely amazed by how good the Challah Bread Pudding with an Eggnog Sauce ($9) was. The list of draft beers is not huge but it is mostly craft oriented, changes frequently, and Karas our bar server knows them well. I've had an Olde Saratoga Moonpie Oatmeal Stout, a Browns Ale, and I just had to try the Olde Saratoga Peanut Butter & Jelly Oatmeal Stout (all $6 each). Yes, you read that last one correctly. It had a raspberry nose and a mouth-feel that was in some way different, but I never would have associated it with PB&J. As Utah Phillips would have said, "it was good though!" My wife enjoyed her glasses of Cape Mentelle Sauvignon Blanc ($11). Let's see... how many more "R" months do we have this year?

Stopped here the drive back from Montreal to Nyc. Love Korean so why not? We were one of 2 tables. Waited forever for inedible food. Chicken burger was oddly fried and was basically 90% chicken tendons because it was such poor quality food. Felt bad for waitress. She seemed to be trying to prod chef for our order and was apologetic when I showed her the burger. Excuses us from the bill and grabbed a bagel up the street.

Trying the breakfast. "Eggs Benedicto," with avocado, crispy prosciutto, served on grilled cassava bread, and an oddly bland but way too citrusy smoked paprika hollandaise -- it doesn't work. Very nice presentation and beautifully poached egg, but it's all bland, and it's hard to eat the very salty prosciutto with it, which would help the balance. The bread is tough to cut and chewy. Very pretty and smooth cappuccino. No sparkling wines by the glass available on the list! Vinho Verde comes the closest. Generous pour, thank you. Two other people in the place, three waiters, and it's a struggle to get attention. Odd. P.S. I peeked into the open kitchen and the breakfast cook was opening Kraft plastic wrap singles to melt over patties! He made the Hollandaise, but the head chef was in the kitchen.

Had the pleasure of collaborating with two Matts and a Frank over two visits at Mingle. A former Saratoga resident familiar with local hot spots, I felt at home in this hotel bar. Bartenders introduced selves with a handshake, learned my name, and were knowledgeable about menu and how to make a cocktail to meet my needs. I was there during off-hours, but have no doubt the personality and passion of the staff, above average here, would translate to busier shifts. Have Matt make you a Green Tea- perfect. I was very well taken care of. Thanks Matt, Matt, and Frank!

Our party of six could not have had a better dinner or any better service! The blueberry Acai vodka cocktail was a big hit. The appetizers were outstanding, we had mussels, Korean pancakes and Korean chicken tacos. The main course for each of us was the Bulgkogi beef. It was delicious. Part of the charm was the staff from the hostess, the bartender up to manager host Jose Filomeno and Scott Solomon. This place is now on the top of our list of preferences for nights out in Saratoga.

I had the ramen soup. Wonderful. Strong rich broth. Noodles served al dente. My father had the pastrami sandwich. Classic ny flavor with a unique twist in the crunch.

Mingle on the Avenue is a wonderful addition to Saratoga Springs where you're guaranteed to have a completely unique experience like no other. My party and I visited during opening week while there was still a limited menu and the bar was not open for business, but that didn't stop us from dining since we enjoy Mingle Albany so much. To start we ordered the heirloom tomato & watermelon gazpacho, Caesar, and house salads. All were incredibly fresh and had elements that popped like the fresh anchovies on the Caesar and toasted pepitas on the watermelon. When the entrees came out we all stopped and starred at the beautiful presentations almost as if we didn't want to ruin their perfection. Every dish from the Halibut, Salmon, NY Strip, and the Lobster Salad struck a delicate balance between refreshing and flavorful. (We couldn't help but try each other's plate!) Truly gourmet food. Service was friendly, attentive, and when we had a specific question about the food that our server didn't know, he didn't hesitate to find us the answer. No other restaurant in the area like Mingle on the Avenue and I cannot wait to go back to try their full menu and some of their signature drinks at that amazing looking bar!

OYSTERS! We went during a mid-day happy hour on Saturday. Lunch at the bar was a good mix of offerings - korean, a burger, a savory pancake.. it was all amazing. Plus the oysters. The oysters were amazing- fresh, perfectly matched with a sauce that brought joy to us all. I usually find restaurants & bars are reaching when they offer such an eclectic menu, but Mingle has chosen its gems wisely. Everything was worth ordering again. This place has got many talents, from food to drink, and the staff. Our bartender/waiter was phenomenal in his recommendations and personality. This is a new favorite spot for all four of us!

Service has gone downnnnnn hill. We were in there last week. Only ONE other table. I watched this open, do very well so I don't know why it was so bad. The server (I feel horrible saying this) had a shirt on that was way too small for her, buttons popping out and should've been white but was kinda yellow; sort of faded. When we asked for bread we were told "No bread tonight. The guy in the kitchen doesn't feel like making it." Ummm ok. I loved their gf bread with dips!! Soooo then I ask about one of the specials, I state that I don't like a certain food and she asked me WHY NOT? UMMMMM....really? Then the food comes out and I basically got half a plate of lettuce, rubber chicken with some tiny portion of kimchee. She disappeared when we asked for the check. We were soooooo disappointed. I loved the food here. I don't know what happened but rude, sloppy server plus being told NEW COOK THAT DOESN'T FEEL LIKE MAKING BREAD equals DNR, DO NOT RETURN.

I miss the Mingle on Delaware Ave. Service was good there, it was comfortable and well decorated, and the food was delicious. Mingle (On the Avenue) was not nearly as good as I'd hoped it would be. For starters, I was surprised that at 1pm on a Monday (a day when people were clearly out and about) there was only one other table of diners in the restaurant. They left shortly after we were seated, however. Yet somehow, in light of this, we received slow service. The waitress, who appeared to be more of a manager, was in no hurry to return to our table to take our order. It also took a while for the food to be served. We were only a party of 3. So what were the reasons for the slow service? The decor and layout of the restaurant are aesthetically pleasing enough, but it doesn't necessarily play to the Korean fusion theme. The food was good, although I missed a couple of the items that I'd ordered from the Mingle in Albany. We started with the pork tostadas, which were excellent. I wish the order came with more than 3 pieces, though. For my meal I ordered the veggie burger with a side salad, and my coworkers ordered the salmon burger and the beef Korean tacos with fries. We all enjoyed our meals. In sum, the dining experience was just OK. I will not likely be returning. There are just too many other places in Saratoga to try, and coming here would just remind me that the Mingle I loved going to is no longer an option.

We were here on the first night that Mingle was open. The crowd hadn't yet arrived at 7, and the service was attentive and cordial. The liquor license hadn't yet been secured so the bar was not open for alcohol. That said, Mingle and team are ready to go! Manager José sat us in a window seat in the main dining room. Our server was Randy, she was both knowledgable and extremely pleasant, as were the rest of the staff. Because this was the first night, I think they offered a limited menu. Limited, but certainly complete. We started with the Caesar salad and the Watermelon salads. Both were fresh, cold and delicious. The Caesar dressing was clearly homemade and there was plenty of fresh hard cheese (and a white anchovy!). The watermelon was cold and delicious and a perfect accompaniment to the rest of this summer salad. For dinner we had the Halibut and the Farfalle Pasta. The presentation and flavor of the halibut could best be described as perfect, unusual and delicious. Served with a soup spoon, the broth could certainly be eaten just like a soup. The Farfalle with broccoli rabe was also done excellently. This is one of my favorite dishes and the only thing needed was a pinch or two of salt to bring out the flavor a of the fresh ingredients. Lastly, for dessert I ordered the Berry Clafoutis. Like a dense, spongy crepe served with ice cream. Delicious . All in all an excellent experience and dinner!

Our compliments to the chef. If the mussels are on the specials menu...Order them! They were incredible. Our dinner...Kimchi Bokkum and Bibimbap were just as delicious. No wait, no reservation and great live music. Did I mention the service was exceptional?

Nice hipster little place. Great service by Jennifer (ask for her!). Awesome drinks. Started with the Korean Tacos - Corn tortillas, gochujang crema, apple-radish kimchi, Napa cabbage with choice of beef or chicken ($11) DAMN good. Damn good. Also had the watermelon gazpacho ($7.00) good and fresh and tasty. For dinner I had the Pork Belly Kimchi Mac - Blend of 5 cheeses, pork belly, house kimchi, rigatoni pasta, toasted breadcrumbs $22. Good but not great. The kimchi rocked, the mac and cheese rocked but combined was just ahhh...ok. Pork belly? I must have missed that. The ginger martinis ($11) rocked and he had a Davidson IPA that we wish we could find in Florida. Again, The service was great. Called for a cab back twice and they never showed so get this...the owner gave me a ride back to my hotel room! How nice is that??! I recommend this place whole heartedly!

There aren't a lot of good Asian options in Saratoga. While Mingle isn't STRICTLY Asian, it certainly scratches an itch! The Korean tacos with beef are fantastic with just enough spice to wake you up - not blow you away. The service is great and relaxed (I probably wouldn't go here if I wanted to grab a quick bite, but for a leisurely lunch it's perfect). I'm looking forward to eating my way through the menu because so much of it looked really interesting. Will give more stars as I eat more!

I found out about Mingle through a "Local Flavor" deal this past week. I actually purchased 3 different Saratoga restaurant deals to encourage me to try some new places in the area. I was most intrigued by Mingle due to the Asian/Korean fusion element. I wasn't disappointed. First - ambiance is nice, the place is clean and the staff is consistently friendly. Smiling faces and a non-pretentious vibe always wins points. One of my first questions was around the $1 oysters - they're only available at the bar. A half dozen is $18...which seemed a little steep....so I'll need to go back during their "happy hour" (1pm-6pm) for 2 for 1 drinks and $1 oysters. We started with wine; each of us had a glass of Malbec - both were excellent (we tried 2 different wines). The server brought us the gluten free rolls with a chive butter. There is cheese in the rolls/biscuits....they are actually very flavorful but have an odd consistency. Kinda chewy. Once you get past that, they're enjoyable. I have several friends that eat gluten free, so we talked about bringing them here at some point. We decided to start with 3 appetizers: -Fried oysters - delicious! Very generous portion; the caviar on top added a really nice flavor along with the sauce on the dish -Korean tacos - we had one chicken and one beef; I preferred the chicken - the kimchi had a really nice kick and I still liked the corn tortillas (even though I prefer flour). These were actually quite large; again - generous portion for an appetizer. No complaints about that! -Special - spinach salad with fried brussels sprouts with a lovely dressing, walnut pieces and some kind of dried fruit (currants, maybe?). Fabulous. For the entrees, I ordered the Hen of the Woods mushroom and my friend had the burger. The mushroom was one of the best meals that I've ever had. The portion is probably more of an appetizer size, but it's perfect in so many ways. It's served on a cauliflower puree with pea shoots, hazelnuts and a soft boiled egg that has a light coating on it (panko?). I would go back just for this dish. But wait...there's more... My friend had the burger...I tried it and wound up eating half of it (even though I was already full). I'm not a burger fan in general...but the flavor of this one is worth the calories. Oh...and the fries? I had several of them. Delightful. There wasn't any room for dessert...I was the most full that I've been in a really long time...but I REALLY enjoyed everything tremendously. Another nice touch was when the owner came over and chatted with us. His mom is a chef and that's where the Korean influence comes from. Nice guy - great staff - I wish them much success at this location. There were only 2 snafus (no big deal): -I made a reservation via Yelp, but for whatever reason, it didn't get through to the restaurant. There were plenty of seats (it was still early), but that's something that should be looked at (as it did get busier at around 7pm). -When I went to redeem my "Local Flavor" purchase, they had to take my phone away to redeem it. This happened at another restaurant that I went to last month....and I don't like handing my phone over to anyone....ever... There are 2 dishes on the menu that have rabbit in them....I know people eat rabbit, but I happen to have an adorable bunny as a pet....so I make believe that I don't see that on the menu. Lots of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. I'll be back.

One of the best meals we've had in Toga and we go out a LOT. I am a Saratoga native always looking for interesting, international food, which is lacking. We went here for a special anniversary dinner (it's a little pricey but worth it) and were thrilled. Unique Korean-American food in a hip, comfortable, upscale ambiance. Would be perfect for date nights and birthday dinners. Even if you're not into delicious Asian fusion (I don't know why you wouldn't be!) there's something for everyone. Our server (either Randy or Andree) was absolutely fantastic and gave us her honest suggestions. Went at 6:45 on a Friday and got seated quickly but the restaurant did get busier. We got the Yaku-Mandu and summer rolls to start and I can't stop thinking about them. I got the Japchae entree with these cool translucent noodles and husband got Korean tacos. Both exceeded expectations. Get away from the overpriced burgers and unimaginative pastas other Saratoga restaurants serve and try Mingle. You won't regret it.

This could be a good bistro or a decent Korean restaurant, but it has made the very Albany decision to combine both and be much worse off for it. This restaurant is everything that is wrong with dining in the Capital Region. The dishes are a mix of 'bistro' fare and strange Korean dishes. I could almost forgive it's sins if the Korean dishes were executed in any way authentically, but at some point they made the strange decision to try and adjust the dishes to be more acceptable to their diners as entrees. The American idea of an entree does not exist in Korea and it really does not translate well. On what planet is tteokbokki a main dish? This is like opening a Dutch restaurant where the main course is french fries and mayonaise. It makes no sense. This is an open call to Capital Region restauranteurs, please stick to your strengths, and don't pander to your imaginary diner's tastes.

Mingle is a welcome new addition to the growing restaurant scene in downtown Saratoga Springs. Its mix of high-end fair with some unique takes on traditional Korean dishes brings original flavors that have been lacking in the region. I went with a large group of 11 on a busy Friday night, and they were more than able to not only accompany us, but did a good job keeping us happy. I had a chance to try a few of the dishes and must say the standouts were their deconstructed Bibimbap, and Korean tacos, which were rather spicy, but very flavorful. The mussels were also very good. If I had one caveat, it's that their wine selection is overpriced. I am well aware that restaurants extensively mark up alcohol, and happily drink anyway, but to charge $60+ for what I know to be a $15 bottle seems rather excessive. Alcohol prices aside, this is a great restaurant, and I wish it the best of luck.

Awful experience. Horrible service - we sat in the bar area and waited a very long time to place our order. The place was 1/4 full, if that, and the service was SO SLOW. NTM the food was disgusting and came out lukewarm at best (which made 0 sense given how long we were waiting). We could have play hockey w/ the gluten free rolls, but we were so hungry we ate them. I could itemize the entire meal and how bad it was, but I don't have the energy. Rest assured, we ordered over $100 worth of items and it was all bad. Also, the place lacks ambiance - the lighting is so bright ... what a miss. Sad - was really hoping to like it, been meaning to go since they opened.

Fantastic food and service. Ellen was amazing! The Kim chi was really good but a little too spicy for my wife. They boxed it up for us (I ordered the same thing and am taking it to work tomorrow) and brought out another dish super quickly. It was also phenomenal. I definitely recommend this place and we will be back soon.

An overall fantastic experience from the atmosphere down to the service! First off, there was a very clean and comfortable feel to the restaurant. You'll immediately notice the artfully placed blue and orange decor, which made for a pleasant surrounding. To start I ordered the Korean tacos. The combination of flavors in this dish was such that I easily could have ordered a second helping and ended the night on a high note. My wife started with the heirloom tomato salad, which turned out to have the freshest tomato juice I have ever tasted, and also the empanada, which was served with a savory tomato-chile jam that struck the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. For our main dishes we ordered the moulard duck breast and the halibut. My duck was cooked to perfection (medium-rare) and when combined with the creamy quinoa and jalepeno gastrique, was simply mouthwatering. I was not able to try the halibut as it was completely gone by the time I moved my attention away from the duck. Clearly it must have been delicious though as I normally find myself enjoying my wife's leftovers. The baked Alaska, paired with a cappuccino, was the perfect end to our evening. Just tart and sweet enough to leave my pallet completely satisfied. Suffice it to say we will certainly be visiting Mingle on the Avenue again. There are still a number of dishes on the menu calling my name.

So I tried the ramen at Mingle On the Avenue. Big, huge, overpriced meh. It's in one of those hideous new monstrosities on Lake Avenue, the kind of place within which I wouldn't expect to find a business in which I'd care to be caught dead, and so far, I've been right. Mysterious, salty thick brown broth, overly spiced (peppered?) grilled chicken, kernels of corn, uninspired noodles, and did I mention the blah broth? I wasn't expecting Totto Ramen (OK, I was, but still), but for fifteen bucks they gotta be crazy. I could do better with a packet of Top Ramen and clearing out odds and ends in my fridge.

  • Pomme P.

Ordered my favorite portabello panini and the bread was burnt black and the little salad was not as tasty as the other time. We were the only one in the restaurant and waited a long time for our food. It will be nice to have a slice of tomato and lettuce in their burger. The service was very nice.

I came here for lunch yesterday with the fam and quite possibly this maybe my new favorite restaurant in downtown Saratoga!! They did a wonderful job with the decor and the menu has some interesting yummy entrees that brings a new taste to Saratoga. I enjoyed the Korean Tacos that I split with my sister as a app. Can I say, perfect! The meat was marinated to perfection and the slaw and kimchi on top was an excellent addition, savory goodness. Now my favorite part was the Noodle bowl with pork belly, I have had a lot of ramen noodle bowls with the poached egg and bok choy... but I cant tell you how much better this bowl was than anything I have had before, the broth was wonderful and they don't skimp on the pork belly! They had huge shitakes, big bunches of bok choy! I highly recommend getting this entree when dining there, you will be more than happy with it! I'll be back for sure!

I am hopeful that they are still just working out the kinks since they've been open only 6 weeks, but our experience was not good. I had eaten at the Albany location and loved it so I was excited to bring my husband here and we were both disappointed. The service was very poor: it took a long time for the waiter to greet our table and again to get our drinks. Before our food came our waiter told us we would be getting "complimentary gluten free rolls" and went on to tell us all about them and the cheese that was in them. They never came. We had ordered the bulgokee and the chap chae, both with chicken. The bulgokee came with beef - although that turned out for the best as the beef was considerably better than the chicken which was dry - and without the lettuce to wrap it in. The chap chae was extremely salty. And $27 for a bowl of noodles with vegetables and 4 ounces of dried out over-salted chicken breast is pretty steep. The only good thing was the busser who repeatedly checked on us and kept my water glass filled, which I desperately needed. We tipped him separately. I would be willing to give it another try in 6 months, but only because I know the potential based on my experience at the Albany location.

I called to order dinner to be picked up. The hostess was very sweet. After checking to see if one of my ordered items was available (it wasn't) i had to go back online to pull up the menu; it turns out the menu online wasn't the current dinner menu - no biggie. I asked for a recommendation and was given an option that turned out not to be what i asked about but i found something. So i headed down, grabbed my bag of food and got home. Only half the order was in the bag. My fault for not checking, but when I called to ask where the first (confirmed available) item was the hostess responded "well you changed your mind so I thought.." I was rude and hung up. So: be aware, confirm, double check and avoid the frustration of what really ought to have been an easygoing experience.

Have been to the new Mingle twice, as it is one of my favorites in Albany I was very excited to have one on the doorstep of my vacation spot in Saratoga. I was not let down. The food here is incredible. I started with the fried Oysters, empanadas and heirloom tomato salad. Each plate was beautifully presented and the taste exquisite. For my entree I had the steak and my friend had the salmon, both cooked to perfection. I barely had room for desert but I'm so glad I ordered anyway, the plum filled crepe with ricotta cheese was out of this world. The atmosphere was fantastic, busy without being loud making it perfect for either a date or going with a group of friends/family. On a par with the food was the service, from waitstaff to bar staff to the infamous owner Jose - everyone is attentive, friendly and clearly prideful of the establishment they've created. Although different to the Albany Mingle, both have really discovered a niche in their respective locations. Will definitely be back again soon - Oh and try the Sangria, it's wonderful!

Had a fantastic lunch today -outside on the sidewalk. Excellent food, great service, friendly and professional wait staff. Gazpacho was delightful on a warm summer day. Korean tacos were very spicy and delicious. Grilled portobello and roasted red pepper Panini was very tasty! We highly recommend the fries too! Go to Mingle!

My husband and I had lunch here yesterday. It was a wonderful experience. I ordered the ramen and he ordered the pastrami sandwich. The ramen noodles were perfectly cooked and flavorful. The broth was full of pork (though not pork belly as advertised in the menu; more likely meat from the shoulder or butt) and green onions and corn (which added an excellent note of sweetness to the otherwise savory broth). The best part for me though was the perfectly poached egg floating in the soup. When breaking open the white over the yolk, the yolk managed to stay intact but still separated from the white. Once broken with a spoon, the yolk oozed into the soup in its golden glory. And mixing it in with the rest of the broth resulted in a unique and fantastic flavor that was rich without being heavy. As for my husband's dish, he seemed pleased with the generous portions of both the crispy fries, and the fatty meat piled atop his sandwich. For dessert, we ordered the key lime pie with coconut ice cream. The pie was respectable, but homemade coconut ice cream was phenomenal! And finally, the service. I don't typically feel the need to comment on this measure unless I have something negative to say. But in this case, I think I need to draw attention to the truly FANTASTIC service at this restaurant. From the hostess who kindly and happily allowed us to re-seat ourselves by the window to the extraordinarily astute and helpful waiter, we could not be more pleased. Even the gentleman who bussed our table was friendly and enthusiastic. The staff seemed so happy to be at the restaurant and to ensure the quality of our experience, that it is no wonder we had such a wonderful one. That being said, the prices for lunch items were just a little high. This will definitely not keep us from returning, but it will make a meal here a treat instead of a regularity; something I am absolutely fine with.

We had lunch here on a very rainy day. The Korean pancake and Korean tacos were good choices. Each serving has two pieces so we shared. The atmosphere is nice and the service was attentive. We would definitely go back.

My wife and I ate here last night and our only regret was that we didn't come with a larger group so that we could try more of the dishes. We had the tomato salad, arugula & watermelon, Korean tacos, shrimp pancakes, and 2 special apps--a snapper ceviche and butter poached lobster. I could go into detail on each plate about the freshness and simplicity of ingredients, the perfect blend of taste and texture, or the artistic presentation, but I don't want to ruin the surprise. This is the best food I've eaten in Saratoga in years. Go there now, you won't be disappointed.

It's been a whirlwind of restaurants for me the past 2 weeks in Saratoga. This place came up on Yelp as an interesting Korean alternative. The food and the service were very good. The Jerk Chicken appetizer was larger than I expected and pretty tasty. My friend was a little perplexed by the fact that only a few of the dishes were Korean. My only real qualm is that the music sucked. I don't need to hear two Michael Jackson songs while I am eating dinner. Music is a critical element in any restaurant ambiance... who wants to listen to Billy Jean while eating? No one I know. Get some good beat here, and this place will be fine.

I was very disappointed as this restaurant had good reviews on yelp. The restaurant was empty at 10 am when we went for breakfast but the service was painfully slow. When my order arrived the toast was cold and my omelet was also cold as well as dry and tasteless. The waitress who said that she didn't normally work breakfast was very sweet and nice. But such incredibly slow service with only one other table in use was inexcusable.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate.
