High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. This place has great drive through service and is one of the original kings of McDonalds where the jungle gym isn't a death trap. I think I met my first crush here at the age of 6 years old.. before that, I was probably very gay or very deprived of non-male inquisitiveness. I would also like to point out that this place serves great Honey Mustard. It's so good even that I wouldn't want to have honey mustard anywhere else. The only problem with this place is the drive through like I mentioned before, woops, I'm too lazy to delete, but that was the service (which isn't bad). It's on Northern Blvd and it's an awful location to have it because you can never drive in and when you want to turn down 251 street, it's virtually impossible to go around. They need to fix that, but I know they don't. Mmm dollar menu.

Very disappointing the last few years. I grew up going to this place so I have a lot of memory's and emotional attachment to this place. Even so, they have been really going downhill lately. Things they need to fix: 1) Change the frying oil more often. Not only is this super unhealthy it makes the food taste all stale. You can smell the burned oil outside. This is the hallmark of bad management. 2) Put the ketchup dispenser back ( they cut it down to one when I moved back into town and now it's just the empty case). 3) Keep basics like napkins and straws available. 4) Clean better, particularly the bathroom, men room is always a mess. 5) put in a soda fountain, or at least be less stingy with refills, and cups of water. Positives: Location. The turnover in this place is crazy bc the location is amazing. This is why they are getting so lazy I believe. Decent play area for kids.

Food is consistent but as someone mentioned....no napkins, no ketchup dispenser, no straws, etc.....you have to wait on line and ask for these basics.... Convenient location, lot's of parking, lot's of seating, good play area... BUT.... NOT LOVING IT! The drive thru is great but the counter person in the AM definitely needs to be retrained or replaced (can't see her making $15/hr) Very negative and not even a good morning, hello or thank you. The first thing I hear as soon as I get in the door is her complaining about the customer that just left. The customer in front as well as I got the "eye roll"... I took it to mean "just give me your f@#$! order", "I don't want to work here", "another one of those people buying the 2fer special",.... I did not feel very comfortable when ordering. Told my wife and she said she had a similar story with the same person...given that there are 2x BKs, Chipotle, 5 Guys, Wendy's, Panera and a few bagel/deli/bakeries all within 1/2 a mile you would think they would try harder. Why do I need attitude to start my day off!!! This McD is my local one and I do try to support my local businesses as it is good for the neighborhood...in this case I'm sorry that I cannot give my hard earned money for an "order of attitude"...I have other choices where I can get at least a smile and a thank you without personal negativity.

Stood at the counter and was ignored for over 10 minutes. All 8 employees behind the counter were more interested in talking to each other than doing their jobs. I mean the entire staff, the manager, cashier, and the entire kitchen staff were all engrossed in this conversation. My presence wasn't even acknowledged. I was the only customer waiting. I asked to be helped twice and one of the staff held up her finger indicating I should wait a minute. She didn't even have the curtesy to look in my direction. As I waited I noticed a TON of FLIES flying around the lights in the ceiling. Not only is the staff in this restaurant rude but the restaurant is dirty. Flies=rotten meat. I will never eat at this McDonald's again. In summary a dirty restaurant with lazy employees.

Poison! But it tastes soooo good going down. When in a hurry it's always reliable cause every Mac is the same. No guessing at all.

Probably one of the most fanciest Mcdonalds I've ever been too. This may sound weird but their drive thru service is on point. They are very professional and polite here. And most of the time the fries are almost always fresh .:)

Wasn't cheap on ketchup/napkins. SO RARE now a days.. Really happy with my vanilla sundae with fudge and strawberry parfait :)

Good location and service isn't bad. They have a drive thru m, but I prefer to sit inside and eat. The staff was quick to finish my order and gave us extra fries. Great place and will definitely go back.

It is very spacious with a lot of seatings and a cute little child play area. Overall, the service is ok and the dining area is considerably clean. An above average McDonald's for sure. Three stars!!!

Wish there was a zero star option! This location never fails to mess up my order!!! Every single time. Pathetic drive thru service! One time I ordered, my "6" piece nuggets for my kids all had 5 nuggets in the box except for one order. Really?! I was annoyed after having so many wrong orders that I called McDonalds corporate and complained and a few minutes later, the OWNER of this location called me on my cell phone and was extremely rude and nasty and said that next time she will have her employees "count the nuggets better for me!" I was baffled and beyond pissed! This is the only McDonalds in the area so we do go there from time to time but beware, don't call corporate and complain about her "restaurant"! Unbelievable And just the other day I ordered a chicken & ranch premium McWrap, only ONE thing in my whole order and what a shock, it was WRONG. They gave me the chicken & bacon one.

This location never fails to disappoint me. I really dunno how you can screw up coffee each time, but they get a medal for consistently serving me dark iced coffee with no sugar when I always order it, "light & sweet". I've even watched the order on the monitor to see how it was being put in and each time, it discredits the possibility that I was heard wrong. Don't get me started on the time I witnessed a backoffice employee, maybe the bookkeeper, who came out just to yell at an elderly customer who was not satisfied with HIS coffee before retreating back to her office. I've finally decided to travel elsewhere for my iced coffee fix.

This drive-thru never seize to disappoint me. I frequent their drive thru almost once a week and they always tend to screw up 75% of the time i go. However, enough is enough, I have given them more enough chances and here's how my order went tonight. I ordered a chicken caesar side salad, but came with neither caesar dressing nor a fork. A big mac with a missing patty. Stale fries like usual. I asked for packet ketchup and mayonnaise and the the staff has the nerve to lie to me and say they don't carry packet mayonnaise. Oh yah, did I forget to mention they forgot to include napkins also?

This location has been here for what seems to be forever, and has gone through numerous renovations over the years. For a number of years the level of service has been less than optimal, but it seems that it is now at the bottom. The location has some cleanliness issues recently as well as management issues. They lost me as a customer after my last two bad experiences. My last visit was in mid-August, and I went for a sundae which had recently been promoted. I did not see it on the menu, and when I asked a supervisor he pointed to the menu board. I continued to look and asked him several times "Where??" Finally a customer told me she could not find it either. Guess they're no longer sell it even though it is mid-August. Instead I ordered a McDouble, while a friend ordered a meal. Believe it or not, it took over 20 minutes to get my McDouble. This is a basic item off the menu and there seemed to be a lot of confusion behind the counter. One employee kept running back and forth and speaking in a way that no one could understand. After waiting so long I asked for a refund but no one wanted to hear what I was saying even though I spoke perfect English. I took the time and trouble to call the franchise owner whose name and telephone are posted in the restaurant and left a message. Almost a week later I still have not received the courtesy of call. As a result of my recent experiences I will not be back for a long time to come, if ever.

This is one quality McDonald's, let me tell you . . . and now it has Subway right next door, which is a potent combination. I used to go here when I was younger, and they still have a killer playground area for all you kiddies out there. If you're not a kiddie, you should really control yourself, because you might hurt someone. The service at this Mickey D's is always good, you just might have to walk past some kids chillin on the corner. Hey, any Mickey D's is a good Mickey D's in my book.
