Let me start off with saying that this place gat one star because I can't give it zero stars. We tried this diner this morning for breakfast, because we were looking for someplace new. Breakfast started out okay with coffee, I had iced coffee and my boyfriend had hot. We ordered regular breakfast items, eggs/omettes with home fries and corned beef hash. We requested that the home fries and corn beef hash be made well done. When our meals came about 40 minutes later, it looked as if they had gone out of their way to make the home fries and corn beef hash completely under done. The plate that I received my omelette on was covered in a layer of sticky old grease splater and looked like it had been sitting next to the fryer for about a year. On top of being completely underdone, my boyfriend's Eggs Benedict were served ice cold. There's nothing worse than ice cold congealed hollandaise sauce. We searched for our waiter who had gone missing again, he seemed to disappear and never reappear until we asked the busboy about five times to find him. While waiting for our waiter to appear, the hostess came over to ask what was wrong and what we needed the waiter for. We explained the issues we had with our food and she gave us a blank stare for about 10 minutes and said I'll go get your waiter and then left. When our waiter came over, he also looked at us like we had seven heads and kind of gave us a look that said "What do you want me to do about it?!" At this point my boyfriend said just give us the check. To which I replied we're not paying for anything so you don't really have to bring us a check because we didn't eat anything, because the food is unedible. Meanwhile, as all of this was going on, in the background there was a small child about five years old who was screaming bloodcurdling screams for about five straight minutes. Both of her parents simply sat there and did nothing but ignore her while she ruined everyone else's meal. If I would've done that as a child my mother would have given me a slap and dragged me out of the restaurant By my ear. Then I really would've had something to scream about. I was by no means abused as a child, but I was disciplined when it was necessary. So, long story short, we did not pay for anything because even after my boyfriend asked for a check our waiter walked away from the table and was standing talking to his friends as we walked out. Apparently he had no intentions of getting us a check, or if he did, he planned on making us wait another 10 minutes for it. I do not see this diner lasting more than another two to three months. Consider yourselves warned. Stay far, far away from this place. If you want a really good diner meal, go to Good Eats in Grand Avenue in Maspeth.

Great atmosphere, newly renovated with a soothing touch to detail, decor, colors, paintings, BIG & stylish booth's, and mouth watering dinner's. Their Seafood platter is like no other Diner, and the Pasta dishes give the fine Italian restaurants a rough rap, Lol. Don't forget to order desert that stares at you when you walk in, and they say Baking done on premises.

This diner took over the location and telephone number to Pops Diner. It is unfortunate because I ordered from this place thinking it was Pops Diner. The food is extremely overpriced. I just paid $8 for the smallest wrap I've seen. I called to verify if the price was correct and the manager was extremely rude and unpleasant. The chicken was dry and tasteless. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Never will I go to this location or order takeout again.

Excellent food and excellent service. We had salads, a wrap sandwich, Veal Marsala, and meatloaf they were all excellent. The waffle fries and the regular fries were great too. The French onion soup was he best I've ever had.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Stay away from this diner! Horrible service and food. There are way better diners in the queens area. My husband's burger was way undercooked. My grilled chicken with blue cheese was a chicken patty on a hamburger bun with blue cheese dressing (reminded me of something in my junior high cafeteria). When I complained about my order, I was told nothing could be done. Needless to say, this was my first and last time eating at this awful diner.

This diner was originally Pop's Diner. It should have stayed that way. Pop's had more of a variety and the food was not as bland as Nevada's. The simplest meal seemed too hard for them to complete. Pop's offered $3 mojitos anytime you went there. This place does not. Service was moderate. Most likely to never return here unless Im desperately starving and this is the first place I see to eat, but highly unlikely.

Me and my friends stepped in here tonight, just to grab a quick bite to eat. The sign on their door said they close at midnight and we arrived at 11pm, more than enough time to be graced with a meal. We were sat (with only maybe 4 or 5 other tables in the whole diner), and ordered quickly. We waited around 35 minutes, for a chicken quesadilla, a chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato, and a burger (mind you, everyone else in the diner already had their food). 35 minutes, for 3 meals. Outrageous. When the food finally did come, the server, spilled the barbecue sauce all over the table, my utensils on the floor and knocked my french fries out of my plate (with me having to ask for new fries). He cleaned it up by throwing 2 napkins on the mess. My first bite into the chicken sandwich was one of most extremely flavorless, and unappetizing meals I have ever even eaten. It's almost as if they grilled the chicken and didn't even put a speck of salt or any other spice for that matter on it. The same chicken used in my sandwich, was used in my friends chicken quesadilla, even the sour cream could not compensate for how absolutely dreadful the meal was. The server, being no where in sight for almost the whole night, hurried over to give us our check, and we were flattered with very nasty attitudes on the way out paying with the front. All in all, the only thing I could say about this place is to STAY AWAY!!!! One of the worst eateries in all of the 5 Boroughs.

First time here, fast quick service( I had take out) it has typical diner fare as you expect, plus their own specialties. A few of there dinners seem to end at 10 pm, but breakfast and everything else was available. They are open 24 hours on weekends and close at 12 during the week.

Probably the cleanest diner I've ever been to. Every square inch of this place is spotless. Food is pretty good as well.

Usually eat here and service and food is good. Today however the service was horrible really horrible! I ordered my food and my girlfriend order just soup. Well I got my plate it was ok, but my girlfriends soup never got there. Now waiting for the waiter to come by he never came tried to make eye contact & wave at other servers & even host. No one paid any attention at all. If the place was packed and we were sitting in the back I would expect that. But we were sitting in the second booth upfront. So as I go to get up to ask were the soup was the waiter came out of the kitchen to serve another table. I waited till he was done called him over asked about the soup and with an attitude said you didn't order any. I said yes we did he then asked well what kind of soup so my girlfriend reordered cream of turkey soup it came out very quickly. BUT it wasn't creamy at all very watery I've seen better soup come out of a can. The waiter took away with an attitude and said if you don't want it don't order it.

Just came from the diner and I am full. I didn't even finished my main course because the appetizers filled me up. The portions were good and all the food was very tasteful, The food was also served fast. The waiter was courteous, friendly and helpful. The place was clean and modern. My family and I look forward to coming back.

Me and my wife went their for dinner and there food was really bad . Did not think that you could destroy a chicken panini sandwich but they did. The chicken was dry tasteless and chewy. The prosciutto was like eating a piece of shoe leather. The bun was burnt and a week old . We had started with buffalo wings and they came with fried pieces of chicken probably out of the box with no sauce on the chicken or on the side. Do yourself a favor stay away.

This was the first time i've been here and from the outside it looks perfectly fine. But when we got in and started ordering, the food took a really long time to come and they got our food messed up. Not only that my order said there was going to be onion rings but i never got them. They charge 2 bucks for a small cup of drink and they dont even let you refill them. not only that when i finished my water, they didn't even bother to refill it but they had time to walk around asking if everything is "Okay". I was so temped to say "No it's not okay your food is too dry, your things are expensive, the service is horrible" that is just how i feel about this restaurant. I am never ever coming back to this restaurant ever again.

This used to be The Pop diner, which was kind of a dive. They really did some great upgrades to the Nevada. For starters the atmosphere was spot on As was the service. Friendly, attentive from the hostess to the bus service. We went for breakfast, the unfold was fresh and delicious. Cooked exactly as we ordered. We ordered an omelette not on the menu and it was no problem for them. We will most definitely be returning. Can't wait to return for burgers..

Its a diner, its not like your going to eat at the River Cafe in BK... the food is good, Ive been there before when it was SAGE... Then POPS.. The NewPOPs w.e... and now Nevada. I Must say I miss the Paella part from Pops, but I guess spanish doesn't go with the name... I eat there now with the new nevada name prob. 1-2 a week... * The salmon veggies, something crusted seeds something like that is pretty good. * Rib eye steak , is hugeee and good . The male (Spike hair..bald and i forgot the other one) waiters are good and the bus boys w.e red shirt with the coffee.water are always on the money. The female waiters are ok, Ginna is good on the money :), there is a blond young and older lady but they little slow :( and you have to like look for them to pay. its like like omg im going to die slow but you can tell the dif. ... Other then that is good, I dont know if they have WIFI, but parking is a plus if you drive. ** Bring back some pop dishes lol **

I was there this morning for breakfast. I was hoping that the place would just as good as Pop Diner. And I was pleasantly surprised. My omelet was light and fluffy, and the home fries were good as well. The coffee was good. The service was good, although we had a server that was a little too enthusiastic and was making small chat at times, but overall it was good. Also, the busboys were kind of hovering over our table offering us coffee quite often. I understand that it's difficult to run a restaurant, and making a good impression is important. Just tone it down a notch. I'll be back to Nevada Diner.

This used to be pop diner. The renovations they did were nice. The back dining room opened up the space a lot. We had dinner there the other day. The food was pretty good. Normal diner food. Nothing special but not bad. Service could have been a tad more attentive. The banana cream pie was very good. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3. I'll be back again.
