Lily's is great period. Real warm hospitality and never had a bad meal here once. I definitely prefer this location over the Islip one. St Patrick's Day is of the chain here. Always have a blast as Lily's goes hard core Irish-style! Lily's does a proper Irish Car Bomb which is a must for anyone new to lily's. Treat yourself to one... so good! Menu covers all the Irish classics and prepares them in a home-cooked comfort tradition. I enthusiastically recommend Lily's to anyone who wants a homey Irish hospitable dining experience.

I came out here on a Friday night with some co-workers. Thinking this was going to just be a warm up since it was our first stop, we grabbed some beers, some shots, and I ordered a chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was pretty big, big enough to split, and it came stocked with all the sides (sour cream, pico, cilantro, and guaccc!). Being a beer snob, this place looked like it had some decent beers on tap, but everytime I went to order one, it seemed to be out or there was something wrong with the lines...this forced me into taking advantage of the two-fers on Bud Lights that started at 9pm. 2 for $5? Not too shabby! We first got there around 7pm and the crowd was a older and there was a band playing. Somewhere between 9:59 and 10pm, it was a very yound crowd and the DJ started spinning. They also had an outside area which was perfect to hang out on before it got packed. I haven't danced that much in a LONG time!! The DJ killed it, lots of throwbacks mixed in with current hits. It was definitely a fun time!

We came here for the 1st time tonight. It was excellent. We tried the beer sampler. It was a good selection of 3 Oktoberfest beers. We liked them all. I had the corned beef and cabbage and my boyfriend had the filet mignon special. His steak was cooked perfectly and my dinner was great as well. Claire was our waitress and she was lovely. She answered all of our questions and gave us just the right amount of attention. We definitely will be back!

Absolutely disgusted with my experience with the bouncer. You make your money off punk kids that pack the place all night not off your dinner crowd so let your bouncers know who is paying their checks. I spent over 300 in this place just to have a bouncer go out of his way to be rude to me because I needed air . I've managed clubs in vegas that gross 100+ million and not one of my security staff would ever disrespect a guest like I was at this place. It shows a weak management staff and a weak or otherwise unaware owner to let a $150 a night employee drive guests away. Bouncers are a key factor to successful nightlife. They are the first person you meet and help distinguish a customers first impression of the place. He is here to make sure underage people don't enter and make people feel safe not drive someone out of the bar that will easily spend $2000 on premium liquor monthly to have fun with friends. I understand I'm young but I'm a 27 year old self made person that deserves respect or at least genuine hospitality from a doorman that is being paid to provide it. Needless to say I'm extremely disappointed but the crowd is a bunch of kids with no money and the bouncers are rude why give your money to people who don't deserve your business. I hope they get their act together because people like myself are the higher checks that help you do well making up for the lack of money spent by kids out with their 20 allowance. Other than the bouncer being wrong for hospitality the only complaint was the restroom that was flooded and had clogged toilets and sinks. Hopefully if you start treating good customers better bathroom attendants will see money to be made and come back. The bartender took money for a round of shot ls and clearly pulled a common no sale bar theft technique I caught eye of and clearly had never been pour tested but that doesn't really effect me but yea (where is a manager? ) I would be ripping my hair out if this was my bar. By the way the doorman said his name Was Dan. Please let me know when he gets into a physical altercation with a guest he takes his anger out on verbally because he deserves to be let go and when he does il give it another shot. Thanks

I have been to Lily Flanagan's Pub twice and was not very satisfied with my stay. It is a cool atmosphere but it is an odd crowd. There are people my age (22) and people in their 40s and 50s. The music is not so good, depends on the dj I guess. I wish there were more drink specials as well. I think with better drink specials and better music would make it more lively.

Went here for a catering event (engagement party) and this place was great! Good food (Chicken something, beef something, penne all vodka, etc.). It was an open bar so free drinks are always great to have. Perfect location since it's right near a train station. I'll have to try this place for a happy hour one night. I always here ads on the radio. Gotta try it for a non-event and really see what they have to offer.

As an Irish-American Long Islander there are few places you'd expect to be a dependable source of Irish music, culture, and festivities on St. Patrick's Day. Lily Flanagans Irish Pub should fall into that category but sadly it could not be further off the mark. To walk in to the pulsing bass beats of 90s rap and devour corned beef to the backdrop of the Fresh Prince theme song is a disgrace. Still they get 2 stars because the food is spot on. Next time I come for the great food I will consider myself forewarned about the unforgivably disappointing atmosphere. (Sad bagpipe music playing in my head)

I'm writing this review strictly having partaken in the after hours scene for several years. I have come here for years, usually on the weekends with friends. The weekends are usually host to a younger crowd (between 18 and 25.) There is always an awesome DJ and the place gets packed out. There is always some kind of drink specialty deal happening, and despite the size of the crowd, the bartenders do a very good job of being attentive to customers. Sadly for me, I think I might have to start partaking in the earlier hours here and awesome dinners I hear about, because I think I am approaching the age where I am too old for the weekend crowd :( I think the cool thing about Lily's is that they do somehow reach a wide age range of people. I have come here as a 21 year old and bragged about what a great night I had, and my parents in their 50's also have come away bragging about their great night at Lily's. Again, I cannot speak for the dinners and early hour occurrences. But, if you're in your early - mid twenties and looking to have a fun drunken night with lots of dancing and strangers to meet, this is your place! I've never had a bad night here. I deduct one star because the female bartenders have a tendency to talk down to their customers, even when you are not being a drunken, annoying mess.

Decent apps. Loved the Thai calamari. Entrees are extreme mediocre even for a pub.

I go to Lily Flanagan's all the time, but not for the food. Lily's is a great spot if you enjoy night life. They always have awesome DJs and drink prices are the same as every other bar in Babylon (a little expensive). Lily's has 3 bars inside which makes it easy to get a drink if you can fight through the mob of people they cram in there every night. They have an outside section which is a little too small , but still very nice in the summer. I haven't mentioned the food at all because it doesn't deserve a mention. Wings and apps on a Sunday for football is as far as I go into this menu.

Good food/good club decent drinks nice staff but they have no qualms about making you feel like it's getting time to club lets go. My family was eating dinner there and they started moving the furniture around us. I know you have to but we were already paying and just about to get up it seemed a little rude. But as s club it's pretty awesome

I mean eh this place wasn't good but it wasn't bad either, the music was okay, the crowd was nice. I would come here again, it didn't wow me. It's just your average dive bar in Long Island.

Bartenders are inconsistent bouncers are inconsistent good music but for the most part your paying to dance with teenagers $5 cover charge gotta hand it to the DJ bc he's the only reason I'm sure people come in here didn't really try the food but all other services are horrible coat check girl even went on & said well just ask another bounced about reentry she was cool but that's really about it honestly they are lucky they have a good DJ & coat check girl

Came here with friends for a night out. So I can only honestly rate this based on its nightlife. The place was decently packed on a Saturday night. There was a $5 cover which wasn't bad. However, a vodka cranberry was like $7. Maybe I'm spoiled from the like $3-4 drinks at college but I thought that was pretty pricey for low shelf liquor. The dance floor was decently big adjacent to a side bar. I would say the age group there that night was 20's maybe 30's. The music started out good but honestly just got bad towards the end of the night. This was my first time out in Babylon and it was just ok. If I do come back, maybe there will be a different DJ or atmosphere.

Always nice and friendly service, staff should be far more attentive as it sometimes feels like your forgotten about. The appetizers and entrees came out fresh and hot, The Pork Taco was a definite winner. For dinner I had the Burren BBQ Short Ribs, super tender and full of flavor, possibly too much bbq sauce but excellent the same. My date had Tullamore Tilapia, which she thought was very good but would not order again. We passed on desert as we were over stuffed.

One good pint 'o Guinness. Good food and kids eat free on Sunday nights. Fish and chips and the shepards pie are quite good.

Awesome spacious bar. Bartenders are so attentive to your drink is ridiculous, no sooner did I finish my drink and turn around to find a fresh one right behind it. This can be a problem if you were thinking of changing up your beverage so just let the bartender know way in advance. Atmosphere was a "Cheers, everyone knows your name" type of place, which I absolutely love. The food looked delicious however I did not sample any but I sure will on my return trip. Parking is not an issue due to a free valet parking lot. Fridays and Saturdays bring in a young club scene with a Dj, I left before this took place that's just not my scene anymore. There are three large bar areas to chose from and they offer a private room upstairs for private parties. Ireland comes to mind in terms of the decor and woodwork. Very cool place to check out with a group of friends you will not be disappointed.

Lilly's has great beer and food. The bartenders do a great job and there is almost always a soccer game on. Monday night burger night is great, the Shepherd's Pie is great. Can't go wrong here.

We spent a good 4 hours + here this past Sunday with a group of six. Place was not too crowded but a decent crowd for a football Sunday. It has three bars and a decent size restaurant area. The back bar closes kind of early. We started out with a few drinks then headed over for a meal. They do a nice job of cutting down on the bar noise while in the restaurant area. Meaning you are not shouting at each other while having your meal. As for the meal? None of us had any issue with our food. Good Irish home-style meals along with your typical American bar food. Clean, comfortable atmosphere, along with very reasonable prices. As we were leaving to go back into the bar area, they had some live entertainment being set up in the restaurant area. So keep that in mind. We then spent the next two hours at the bar watching the late game and having some laughs. Only real downside would be we never got any buy backs. Between the six of us, five were drinking and spent a good bit of $$$. Same two bartenders, but zero buy backs. Not good if that is the norm. I would definitely go back for the meal, but move on after that for the drinks.

Went here today for Easter brunch. First off the service was absolutely horrendous. They could care less we were even there. The food was less than average - potatoes, pasta, chicken, ham and salad. Eggs had to be ordered separately and were not part of the brunch and came 50 minutes after we ate. Waitress came around 2 times, 35 minutes after we sat down to ask if we wanted drinks. Never came around after that. In plain bold English, the service sucked! And for this the bill was $472. Unbelievable for brunch and no service. Save your money there are far better restaurants out there to choose from who are happy to have your business.

Last night I had a great meal at a new place for me. This is a restaurant for dining, and later a popular pub. I arrived and was taken to my requested table, with A Reserved sign, kudos not something 5 star places even do. I review a restaurant from arrival to departure. So greeting *****. The Hostess and entire staff treated me as. Family Food ****, big thing for me is having food plated and served quickly*****. As there was 3 of us we got to review and sample many dishes. Seafood Appetizer great, friends had potato soup incredible. Also in Addition to Guiness, they had Kilkenny my friends favorite. Main courses I had pasta and seafood dish excellent, impressed me for non Italian place. Also Bangers and mash great, and the corned Beef and cabbage to die for. This place reminded me of my favorite Hotel in NYC where you become family. Also Bartender knew how to make old school old Faahioned, not a popular drink these days. Coffee at end of meal freshly brewedthis is huge for me ends the meal for me like having a glass of champagne!! So for a great Dinner, snacks or late night fun I say go. I am critical reviewer so they impressed me I am sure you will love it. Look forward to returning very soon want to try other dishes. Thanks to entire staff, I am not related to or have any connection to this place. It added a sparkle to my weekend.

My favorite Irish pub. Best place to get a Guinness and the food is good too. My favorites are the boneless wings, shepherd's pie, and potato skins. The patio is great in the summer time or just to get some fresh air year round. Fridays have bands followed by a DJ late night and the crowd ranges from young to old. The great staff is one of the reasons I like this place so much. They're very friendly and quick to serve you.

Really good bar and atmosphere. The food is so-so but I generally don't go there for that. I do like the appetizers though. A bunch of TV's for sports and good service.

I went to Lily Flanagan's with my girlfriend with a coupon from restaurants.com that she acquired via her job. Neither of us had been there before. On arrival it looks like every pub you've probably ever seen. We found a parking spot eventually and went in. We got seated immediately even with it being crowded with families and kids. The menu has many different options so it made it very difficult to select a meal. We started out with drinks and I was very happy to see that they had Angry Orchard for myself and Summer Shandy for my GF, being as shandy is hard to find for some reason. We decided to start off with a chicken Quesadilla. It was delicious but enormous, so big it could have been a single meal for someone.. For our entrees I had the classic shepherds pie and she had a steak and mozz over garlic bread sandwich. Both entrees were very basic and standard. Overall the meal was good but the real star and the reason I would go back is our waitress. She was absolutely fabulous and incredibly attentive especially for being new to working there for less then 2 weeks. On an overall I would visit here again based just on the Quesadilla and the service. I cant remember her name atm but I will be sure to edit this in the future once I am able to attain it. Go for lunch / dinner but from what I hear avoid nightlife there if your over like 24 as it turns into a night club with people around 20 to 21.

Lilly's never fails to Please!!!! Be it a casual dinner for two, a large dinner party or a catered affair, Lily's staff will be sure you are well taken care of from start to finish! This past year alone, I have had the pleasure of hosting TWO bridal showers here & everyone raved about the food, lovely atmosphere & attentive staff. It was so nice I booked it twice! If you are looking for a really wonderful place for your next event Lily Flanagan's should be on your list!!! As for dinner, on a recent Saturday evening, my husband & I had dinner. We both had the Limerick steak & it was cooked to perfection. It came with either soup or salad, we both ordered the garden salad, delish!! I also ordered the French onion soup, it was so yummy!! Our meal also came with potato & vegetable - I had mashed & they were real potatoes, mashed & DH had baked also excellent. That night there was entertainer who sang Irish tunes & encouraged us all to sing along & everyone did. BTW....15 of us will be going here for dinner the night before my daughter's wedding - the food will be great & Lily's will ensure us a great way to kick off our family's festivities!!! If you are looking for good food & a good time give Lily Flanagan's a try Prices are very reasonable

What a huge mistake to come here & never again. We came for dinner and NEVER even made it to a table. We waited for friends at the bar, we left our credit card with the bartender and $100.00 later, were told that the credit card machine was NOT working, can we pay the bill in CASH! After 30 minutes, they were able to get the payment through manually. We decided to leave and go eat somewhere else. I was never so embarassed in my entire life. The bar staff was always busy talking to each other and made us feel like we were bothering them when we wanted to order a drink. We were not supplied with a bill stating what we had purchased, so I was unable to even view what they were billing me for! They were not busy and there were 6 or 7 people running around behind the bar doing nothing but talking to each other. We are Babylon residents and will never return and are happy to share our story with anyone.

We've eaten there 4 times, it's been good for families. First 2 visits we had good food and good service. The 3rd visit was a mid week and although it was not good we figured it was an off night for them. Last night was our fourth visit, Saturday night and they were not busy. The food was ok, the service was only fair. Previous diners should be aware they have instituted a 'sharing charge' which was petty because my 2 children could have ordered kids meals but one chose to share with me and then we ordered extra sides and appetizers that ultimately cost more, so I left irritated. Considering the great dining choices in Babylon Village... we'll likely eat elsewhere next time.

We randomly chose this restaurant because it was near the Babylon LIRR station and there were plenty of cars in the lot. It clearly has an Irish Motif "one hundred thousand thanks". Even though all the tables were taken, the hostess politely asked us to wait while a table was clearing and we were seated quickly. It was a real family friendly atmosphere with lots of kids in the dining room. All the food I saw was fairly generous and seems to be a good value. My wife ordered a Pepper Steak and though it was described as 14 ounces, it seemed bigger and she had enough to eat in and take some home. She also had the onion soup which had plenty of onions and a nice amount of melted cheese. I ordered the Corned Beef Sandwich with french fries and coleslaw. I wasn't thrilled with the coleslaw because I'm used to something more spicy, so I might suggest substituting some other veggie. The staff was nice, and efficient, and I counted no less than 6 large screen TVs, I guess mainly of use when this place functions as a sports bar. Sorry , didn't try the Guinness, but the waiter kept my water glass full.

I have been here a total of 3 times. I obviously came back because i thought it was a great restaurant. Before I say anything else I must say- the short ribs are AMAZING and so is their Irish coffee (I get it without alcohol because they make it a different way than regular coffee and its delicious). The portions for entrees are huge. So worth the price. I always take leftovers home. One thing which is always a bummer is that the service is inconsistent. The first time I was there on a Wednesday and had a great server. Second time was there on a Saturday and my server was also good. My third server on a Friday was pretty terrible. Didn't check on us during apps or salad, and shared maybe 5 words total with us. Not friendly at all. She probably wasn't happy with the tip we left her. They play live music which is cool, guys with guitars playing cover songs that may interact with the crowd. Pretty cool. They have great restaurant.com deals that save you a bunch too. Overall I will continue to come here, but with hopes that I get a good server.

I have been here numerous times and I have to say WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO IT. this place used to be very good. First it was a Saturday night and they force you to valet park, the place was dead maybe 5 tables that's it and my wife is handicapped so waiting for our car is not an option as far as im concerned and they set up there chairs in the handicapped spot. ...... Next they brought over 2 rolls for the two of us using 2 dishes, no bread basket with 2 dishes and they were stale warm but hard as a rock almost broke my teeth..... I ordered seafood chowder and shepherd's pie. the chowder was the only good thing brought to our table. the shepherd's pie was dry and to me its kind of hard to mess that up but they did. the wife had a chicken dish that was supposed to have Prosciutto in it, but it was made with corned beef and then the waitress said oh no its made with Prosciutto, well it wasnt. service wasn't that great had to wait awhile to place an order. my guess is they are not doing well so they are cutting back on things and swapping out ingredients with cheaper ones hoping no one will notice. well we noticed..... the only other good thing that night was the irish music which I love. looks like the last time we will go there, I will take the 1/2 hour drive to islip next time to the best irish pub on the island in my opinion......
