Tioga Trails is our favorite restaurant in Owego. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is fun, and the food is delicious. The owners, April and George, are so welcoming and friendly. We've had the pleasure to enjoy local musicians performing on various occasions, which was an added bonus. Another fun feature is the rooftop bar! Definitely worth a try if you're in the Owego area.

I really don't understand any of the negative reviews here. This place feels like a dream. It makes me so happy. The space is a beautiful old department store with giant windows looking out over the street and the best antique store in the area. It's full of family-style dinner tables. There's a huge bar and a stage. I'd love to come back for live bluegrass. The food I've had is great. Fresh, large portions. Really tasty home cooking. My boyfriend swears by the fried chicken. I had really good vegetarian sandwiches. Fantastic homemade desserts. The service is perfect. Criticizing the service is more about the complainers than the service. It's like going to your moms house. Charming, warm and attentive. It's a very casual environment, but the service is super friendly. I wouldn't change anything at all. In fact I'd say the is the first place in the area I'd take someone from out of town.

This Restaurant is the best in Owego. The owners who are also the waiters, cooks, are the sweetest, warmest people you'll ever met. They make you feel like you're at home. The setting is so comfortable and warm. I ordered the special, Fried Chicken (1 leg, 2 thighs) Corn Bread with Honey Butter, and for the veg I ordered the Peasant Soup. (Beef Broth, onions, garlic, misc veggies and potatoes) and Mashed potatoes. So good. Everything was cooked perfectly. The best food I've had in awhile. If you are a vegetarian there are plenty of veggie options. Veggie burgers, wraps, salads and desserts. So much. We also had the homemade cheesecake, drizzled with strawberries and amaretto topped with whipped creme. Seriously the best. They also have beer in tap, live music and AMPLE amount of seating and reservations. Please come here if you're in town! Its the best.

Food is good and reasonably priced. The portions are not overly large (which is a shame, because I could have happily eaten more of my entree!!) but the entrees we had were tasty. The wait staff were happy to provide suggestions about especially good items on the menu and we were not disappointed in those suggestions. Some nice craft beer selections, though unfortunately, they were out of several that I would have liked to have tried. The space is very large and often hosts live music.

Three of us planned a stop at the Tioga Trails Cafe during a shopping trip to downtown Owego. Great food... I had the marinated chicken sandwich, which was excellent, but the service was very slow. So if you're into a throwback sit and dine, this is a great place!

Just stopped in for a little bite to eat for lunch because every other place was closed on a Sunday. Glad we did! The owner waited on us, it was like my grandmother waiting on me. A little bite to eat turned into a half pound fresh black angus burger. All three of us got one, all three were different styles and all three of us didn't leave a crumb on the plate. Highly recommended for a Sunday lunch. They have a lot of live music going on there too.

This place has the best customer service! April, George & Sylar great job today! We had a table of 20 ppl and they made us feel at home. The food was awesome! I had the mushroom burger which was the best burger. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. If you are anywhere near Owego, you need to stop in and and give them a try.

Great place to go! Great food and very very family friendly! We love Tioga Trails! The owners are friendly and the staff is as well! Food is really delicious. Love the atmosphere. My kids also love coming here! They have a corner of coloring books and toys!

What an amazing find for lunch. On our way to Hudson Valley from western NY. Ordered veggie wrap, burger, and chicken bacon sandwich and all were tasty. Get the waffle fries. Loved the service (owner served us) and will come back.

The food here is real good. The last time there I had the veggie burger. I enjoyed it. The waiter was very nice. Just do not be in a hurry to be served. So if you like to visit with your company this is the place. Also, the onion appetizers are wonderful!

The service at this restaurant is terrible. Our waitress forgot our drinks and didn't even know what drinks we had ordered. We just ordered appetizers (fried mozzarella sticks and the loaded fries) which took over 40 minutes to arrive at our table. Both items were sub par. Our waitress never came back to check on us or deliver our food. She spent the entire time socalizing. We had to flag down other waitstaff just to get our check. Such a disappointment...we should have just gone to the cellar!

Have eaten here many times, and the food has been good every time. Unfortunately, the service is not dependable. Sometimes you get your food in a reasonable amount of time, other times a long wait even if the restaurant is quiet. Friendly hostess and wait staff, and love that they bring music to this town. The ladder back chairs are extremely uncomfortable for a long period of time. Wish they would get more comfortable seating!!

I have never been disappointed when I eat here. The food tastes fresh and there is a variety. They have a nice selection of drinks and a rooftop bar overlooking downtown Owego that you can visit before or after your meal(it's seasonal). The atmosphere is cozy and the owner is a server that will have you feeling like you're a guest in her home. She's wonderful and sweet. I highly recommend trying this place if you're looking for a nice sit down meal that's medium priced.

Was there for a wedding rehearsal dinner, nice place and people but the kitchen management was clueless, waited for my plate over an hour after start of serving. Plate consisted of a plain baked potato and a steak , how hard can that be?
