Solid deli for that lunchtime fix for an affordable sandwich and a pickle. Decent selection and tasty salads. I'm a fan of their tuna salad sandwiches and must say it's a pleasant surprise to get a sandwich, pickle and soda all for under $6. A little cramped in the small space but its worth the squeeze for a good lunch.

Ok, I've gone into Andy's a few more times and they have a new lady cashier in there who rocks and is on top of her game. I love the bagel breakfast sandwich and they are always playing the news or sports games in there. I really feel like they've stepped it up service wise and therefore am adding an additional star onto what I originally gave them!

Nice little bodga off Union Square where a cold brew and basic bite won't cost you much.

Pretty darn good! My office is so close that I eat here 4x a week at least. Yes, it's crowded and small, but hello, welcome to New York City! Here's a hint, if it's crowded that means it's good. Prices are reasonable, female cashier is quick, smart, attractive and really sweet! The best of the place is their in-store made soups, really incredible! Amazingly rich, flavorful and delicious. The worst is their in-store made muffins, bland, tasteless and dry. Middle of the road, is their new salads, they never have what's listed and they look confused if you order any dressing listed other than Italian. They don't chop the salad and the tuna is soaked in mayo. For breakfast, I recommend the salami and egg sandwich. I definitely recommend that you check that your order is correct before leaving.

So, Andys is the type of place that you go to because its right next door to where you work and you want to grab an affordable and fast. Beware; the guys preparing the food don't speak that much english so speak slowly and pronounce your vowels, most days they just give you what they feel like you should eat so if you say something like...Chicken Sandwich, no mayo and no tomatoes; you might have mayo and tomatoes and some random cheese just cause. Their break fast food is slamming thought, their bagels are mostly fresh but their coffee is a bit on the brackish side. Over all a great go to store for random snacks and beverages. I wouldn't trust their open food (stews, rice etc...that seems a bit above what they are capable of doing) Good luck.

Fine for a regular NY deli on selection and service but it's SO NARROW! Why, why, why must your ATM (and beverage coolers, and seating) be all the way at the back, through the tiniest hall of a store packed with people that won't move? It's so uninviting to have to elbow one's way in the front door!

I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN The chicken there was rotten. It must have been there for a while because of lack of customers. Go figure. The worst deli in New York City.

It's a typical NYC deli. Nothing fancy. We often order breakfast (BEC, fresh fruit salad, coffee by the gallon) for the team when we're working a photoshoot in the neighborhood. The line is often long but moves fast. Have patience.

Decent sandwich for a cheap price. And a pickle.

Great place to go to for a quick meal/snack. I usually go there when I am on my 15 minute break. The Mexican cooks are very friendly. Occasionally the line gets a little long but moves very fast. Food prices are very cheap there.

Yes, I'm a fan! With all the chi-chi and new food around the area this is a solid, go-to, old fashioned deli. Yes, it's small but they really try and give a good deal. Sandwiches, which are bigger and cheaper than they are at Pret A Manger down the street, include a free drink! Adn they have home made food. I had a roast beef sandwich that wasn't some sort of Boar's Head processed/packaged product. This is the way most deli- sandwich shops were from the 1960s-90s. Yes, they have to work fast and hard but they are keeping prices reasonable. A burger w/fries and drink is about $7 here. Across the street more like $9-10. Compare their value to the Barnes and Noble Cafe! And see how critical I am of other places. The food here is fast, tasty and cheaper. The neighborhood needs Andy's! They are doing good for ordinary people.

Place always looks dirty. Go to order something and the price is always higher than the sign outside. I mentioned it a couple of times and the answer was "The prices changed.". So WHY would you still have the signs outside?

Poor customer service one of the clerks refused to answer my question while he was making a sandwich. Whether he did not want to answer it or he did recognize the urgency was beyond me and only hurts the owner.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I ate an egg and cheese sandwich here and got terrible food poisoning!

I was walking 5 blocks to go to Bagel Buffet down on 6th but Andy's is much closer to my place and just as good for my usual, an everything bagel and scallion smear. The lady ringing up my order also makes my coffee and I've never seen anyone more efficient or fast at it. It literally took her 2 seconds to simultaneously drop a spoon of sugar and pour creamer in while the coffee nozzle was fully opened. It was like watching a NASCAR pitstop for my coffee cup. The crossaint sandwiches (both sausage and bacon) are good, and they have a very nice selection of drinks in the display fridges. A definite regular stop at a very good price for where it's at.

This place seriously needs to be reported to the health department they lack basic health procedures when handling food. On my break, I told the person behind the counter I wanted a cheeseburger with French fries, and he tells me "he will be right back he went to get something." The place was empty around noon and the only person I saw entering the kitchen was this guy who finished taking out the trash. He didn't even wash his hands, as well not put any gloves on. I waited a few minutes to see if he eventually was going to put the gloves on. He didn't, and as I saw him handling my food with his bare hands I immediately left the store disgusted. PLEASE SOMEONE REPORT THIS PLACE TO THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT. IF YOU WISH TO ORDER FROM THIS PLACE SEE IF THE INDIVIDUAL HAS GLOVES ON. Thanks!!

A deli in the vicinity of Union Square where New Yorkers can attain the breakfast grub on-the-go. A very narrow walkway entrance where patrons place their order to check-out, ergo, blocking their method of egress as per (OSHA) Occupational Safety & Health Administration. The word "excuse me" has no effect in such a small narrow space where patrons decide their order, waiting for their order all the way to check-out. New Andy Deli is a typical New York deli where space is a luxury and rent is extremely high. Breakfast is very moderately priced under $10.00 as my one egg with American cheese on a roll was $2.00 which resonate as okay. Quality was MEH as it is not gourmet quality. There are beverages and minimal mixed fruit salad with yogurt items. Staff serve patrons in a robotic and apathetic systematic demur.

Starbucks was out of oatmeal so I decided to go somewhere else for a quick breakfast. Mistakenly, I tried a turkey bacon egg and cheese on roll. I don't believed they cracked a fresh egg to put on my roll. The egg wasn't even warm enough to melt the cheese! They didn't attempt to season the sandwich so it was bland and dry tasting. I think the turkey bacon was a few days old as well. It was chewy and hard to bite into. This is the worst egg and cheese I have ever had. My six year old nephew makes a better sandwich. Total waste of my time and money!

I've work for two years next door to Andy's and make it a point to not eat there anymore. The saving grace was Angie, the cashier, but she hasn't been there in more than half a year. I have a high tolerance for places now in terms of reviews because I also work in the service industry. However, I tell my friends and new coworkers to avoid this place, and sooner or later, they agree. Prices are most definitely arbitrary. I can order and buy the same thing 4 days straight and charged 4 different prices. One day, it's 2 dollars more expensive. The next, .75 cent different. After that, $1 off. I mean, does FiCO coconut water work like stocks? To call this a typical New York Deli/bodega insults the traditional bodega/deli. Andy's, I gave you 1 year before I gave up. More than you deserved.

I've been here more than a few times, always with crap results. Their flowers die in hours and they make no apologies about it. I ordered 4 six packs of specific beer, they sent me Heinekens and Stellas and said "it's all the same". The TASTE is not the same, and more importantly, NEITHER IS THE PRICE. When I called to find out what the problem was, the staff was rude and wouldn't take any responsibility, made no apologies, and told me the boss's name is Tony Montana. Yeah, you guys are real funny. Rule of thumb: CHECK WITH YOUR CLIENT BEFORE MAKING A SUBSTITUTION

Good little deli in the flatiron district/union square area, but nothing that's amazing. I would consider this place a glorified bodega, as it is very tight and crammed while happening to have a guy you can order food from. This being said, the egg sandwiches are definitely a solid choice and the drink selection is as expected for a place like this. It may not warrant three stars necessarily, but the convenience of the location and the decent food makes it a spot that's worth going back to for those living in the hood.
