Someone should report them to the health officials because this place is absolutely disgusting!!! I went here to get take out because they were conveniently located nearby and boy did I regret my decision. My friend and I both felt sick to our stomachs and we couldn't believe that the guy cooking our food, in a filthy kitchen, asked for this customer's left over white rice that he was about to throw away. He kept it, presumably, to make fried rice for some poor soul the next day and after seeing that, we swore to NEVER EVER return! I seriously feel sick just writing this review. We should all get a badge of courage for surviving the food from China Star.

Definitely one of the least impressive Chinese restaurants I've ever been too! Their menu looks impressive and cheap, (much like any other Chinese fast food joint). But as soon as I walked in I could tell this was a low budget operation. There was one person working, he had his head down on the table bored to death. I placed my order and he immediately gets up to cook it himself. I tried to order a drink, he says they don't sell drinks. What kind of restaurant doesn't have drinks? What was the purposes of having a Pepsi refrigerator there? What makes me wonder is that they have a sign that says "We deliver". How is this possible when you only have one person working? Anyway, the food was not impressive at all. I didn't even bother to finish it. The wonton soup was ridiculous. It was all wonton wrapper and practically no meat. If you want good Chinese fast food, try Chinese Cookery on Millersport Hwy in Getzville. It's much better!

You know that sinking feeling you get in your stomach when you're about to make a bad decision, and you go ahead and do whatever it is that you were going to do anyways? You'll get that feeling both before ordering here and after eating here. I was too lazy to drive to Gin Gin and I figured China Star delivery would be quick.

Yes Kelly S. I know that feeling well, and have made the same fateful mistake 3 times at China Star. Maybe the little voice saying to me "PSST!! you can go order, walk next door & peruse the aisles(oh please, buy my Sapphire and Chardonnay) at Global whilst you wait for your food...." Hmm... Ok, I'll do it AGAIN. Back in the day No. 1 Kitchen in the Quality Plaza was the place to get Chinese if you were a Snyder girl. Sadly it closed and China Star opened. Believe it or not, at one time China Star was pretty good. BLECH!!!
