The food here is consistently great. It's a small menu (varies based on the season) but we've dined here enough times that I've managed to eat several items off of it and nothing has ever disappointed. The only spotty thing is the service. The waitstaff are extremely nice but not trained very well. When the place gets crowded, getting a server's attention to get a meal wrapped or a check is nearly impossible. At our last visit, we had more contact with the bus staff than our actual waitress.

The menu at West Main is different, but not so different that it doesn't feel familiar. It seems that the chef puts a little twist on some classic feel good food. My husband had the burger and I had the sweet and spicy chicken. Both were good. I'm looking forward to trying other items from the menu.

The reason I'm giving this a 4 is because we went to eat appetizers only, but they were amazing. My husband ordered the quesadilla and I ordered the calamari which was on point. We also met the owner who was very friendly -- his waitstaff was attentive and courteous. Through our conversations with the waitstaff, we found out the chef is a CIA graduate -- which only confirmed why the food was delicious. We definitely plan to come back for dinner!

Stopped for some dinner at this cute place! I had the sangria it was in a huge glass and very yummy! Service was great. The waiter was friendly and made some honest recommendations. For our appetizer we had the rice balls in a creamy red pepper tomato sauce! Delicious, highly recommend! Also had the pork tacos with bacon black beans, fun play on a traditional dish. Loved the place. My advice: GO THERE!!

I've been here three times now so it's time for a review. Food is phenomenal. Flatbread and calamari appetizers were excellent. Had a better salad than anywhere I've ever been. Three different entrees were great. If you like short rib, this is one of the best around. Menu isn't huge but it is varied and unique for the area. Wine and drink menu are good, draft beers are a couple locals and a few crafts i.e. Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, etc. Recommended. Constructive criticism: Staff is very friendly but seem....Inexperienced. Entrees came out 30 seconds after salad and apps for mine and every table around me, except the table across from me... Who got their salads after their entree. 4.5/5

I have been here three times and I cannot give them high enough reviews. The bartender is absolutely top notch. The dining is absolutely wonderful. If you have the opportunity to attend a wine pairing event be sure not to miss it. Enjoy.....

Nice to see something other than Italian or Pan Asian spring up. Menu is solid and rotates by season. It would be nice to see more local produce used. Kitchen accommodated special requests. The food itself was hit or miss. Calamari was overcooked. The fried rice balls were terrific. The meat and cheese plate was tiny with only two types of cheese and two meats, both types of ham. Crackers, bread or anything to go with the cheese were oddly overlooked. The short ribs, their signature dish, was bland. The salads were good and cocktails were great. The local beer they had on tap by North River was fantastic. The choice of bottles, on the other hand, was terrible. Very loud, but fine if you're OK with it. Glad to see this place in the Village. Hope it does well.

An outstanding place, from the ambience, food and service. Was with a party of 9 and had zero issues. Good beer selection on tap and a lot of various wines. Didn't get apps but herd the rice balls were good. I had the braised short ribs and they were out of this world! So tender and flavorful, it was in a brandy Demi-glacé, it was delicious. My girlfriend had the Mac and cheese with the short ribs on it, omg. It was probably the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. My buddy got the curry chicken which was really tasty and had a good kick to it. My other friend got the pan seared chicken which was really tender and had tons of flavor. Everyone loved their meals. I would come back multiple times just to order what each person had. Btw, our waiter was cool, he was attentive and down to earth. He took care of us.

Lovely restaurant, nice ambience and easy to find location. Everything we had was terrific. Had a guacamole and pico appetizer, fried goat cheese salad and lobster ravioli. Perfect. Colleague had Mac and cheese, wonderfully topped with bread crumbs. Service was great. Prices in-line. Highly recommend dining here and will return again for sure.

This place is always on point. The presentation of their food to the freshness of the ingredients are top notch. There is something for everyone on this menu. You can tell there's a lot of care and attention put into each plate and the chef is present in the dining room asking how the meal was, he puts a lot of love in it. We have done a small group to over 15 all flawlessly on the part of West main.

Everything was exceptional. Our waiter, Alec, made excellent recommendations and provided great service. Every dish was perfect and the French fries are the best I've ever had. Salty, garlicky, parmesany, truffley danks.

Dropped in again as this place has done no wrong by me. Very crowded at bar and Katrina was terrific and sat us promptly. We took a couple who had never been. Michael was constantly checking in and filling water and wine throughout our entire meal. Tried tuna for for first time. Citrus butter was a great compliment to it. Started with flatbreads. Alwys a must there. Our friends enjoyed the flatbread and the burger they ordered. Owner was hands on walking the room. Love the personal attention. Can't wait for the spring menu!

Was there the other night for the first time with 8 friends. It was very lively for a Wednesday night. Love the ambience and were excited to try the food and drinks. Had a freckled Lime that was amazing - served in a copper mug, think it may be my new summer drink! Will need to try and re-create it unless can charm the recipe out of the bar! It was a busy night and the staff did a good job of accommodating us all getting there at different times. Bread served with olive oil was delish. Everyone enjoyed their salads, main meals and the few who had coffee and desserts. There were 2 minor hiccups having to do with onions (one on a salad and one on the pork chop), but they were remedied quickly. Standouts were the short ribs, short rib mac & cheese, pumpkin ravioli and stuffed pork chops. Even the request for separate checks was honored without complaint - however, it was odd to see the checks written out by hand and not through a pos system. This took some extra time for our waitress at the end of the meal - wish we knew her name, but she never told us. The staff is very sweet and tried to keep up, but we needed to ask for water fill ups and were never offered coffee refills. There just seemed to be a little bit of a disjointedness. But it would not stop us from going back! A little village gem for sure!

Don't be afraid if the outside of the building, inside there is a great atmosphere and food, apps and entree were very good. We were a total of 5 couples and no one went home hungry. We all enjoyed everything and the bar is a cool place to hang while waiting for your table. Will definitely be back.

My mom lives down the street so it's a short walk to get some great food. I've had the burger numerous times- always good but what is really something special is the macaroni and cheese. The lunch menu also has some great chicken sandwhiches.

I think the main reason it's not a 4 or 5 star is simple. From the outside the place looks like a run down bar and not a friendly place to eat. The inside is nice, service was fair, food was good. My advice to the owner is move, lol. Location location location.

I went in for drinks to celebrate a friends birthday. The restaurant is redone and looks beautiful. I ordered the flatbread with goat cheese, bacon, caramelized onions and balsamic reduction. Those are some of my favorite things on my all time favorite food: PIZZA. Very good. The beer was cold and taps are already changed over to fall beer. I'll have to go back for dinner!

I meet the owners father on a college visit for my daughter and he suggested that we visit he son establishment. I was hesitant but Mr Michelin seemed like a great guy so we gave it a try. I was blown away the food was incredible. My daughter and I will go back next time we are in the area. The Mac and cheese was great. I also had the best grilled cheese in my life. Simple food made great.

We went here for our friday night date night around 6 pm. it was packed. there was not even a place to sit at the bar. They have a very small dining room with limited seating so we waited about 30-45 mins for a table. They have an upstairs which I wish they used to sit more people. After standing so long, we were finally seated and was given our bread and oil which we finished right away. we've been waiting hungrily. we ordered appetizers--calamari and the fig flatbread. There was nothing to write home about with the calamari. It wasnt that crispy and some felt rubbery. i wouldnt order it again. however, the flatbread was AMAZINGG!! you have to try it! We were so full then that we had a hard time finishing our main entree. I had the braised short rib grilled cheese. It was good but oily and messy. the fries were so so. The hubby had root beer braised short rib. It was melt in your mouth goodness. But, it only came with 3 little medallions and for $23, it is too overpriced. What pissed me off is that I had my meal to go and requested a box. The waiter insisted that he'll wrap it up for us. The next day, as I was gonna eat it for lunch, I found that he did not even include the fries. And there was a lot of fries left. Paying almost $100 for dinner for two, I expect that I get every single bit of food. When you come here, make a reservation and wrap your own food.

Stopped for lunch at the referral of a foodie friend. Alec , who served us was great! I had the chicken burrito and avocado salad. My lunch mate had steak sandwich w pear salad. Both were flavorful and portions were nice lunch sized! We will be back for the dinner menu.

Beautiful restaurant. Great ambience, food, and wine selection. The bartender, Brittany, is wonderful. Much needed addition to Wappingers!

Went for the first time on Saturday and we were completely blown away. For appetizers we had the fried calamari (which was perfect) and the Mediterranean flatbread (incredible). Main Course's were from new fall menu- short ribs were outstanding, tuna great and pork chop was excellent (sweet potato mashed did not hurt). Service was excellent. One of the owners served our salads and stayed to chat for a moment. A little noisy- but what good place isn't!. We will be back- and soon!

What a great new restaurant!! We arrived to check this spot out after reading so many positive reviews on Facebook. We went on a Monday night and sat at the bar. They have a great happy hour with discounted apps and drinks. We order multiple appetizers and they were all very good. I really liked that they paid attention to the small things which make a huge difference. For example, a homemade aoili with the calamari and nice fresh bread for the grilled cheese with pulled pork. Their flatbreads were delicious. Very cool and inventive ingredients. The best part was dessert (chocolate pudding) It was made with nutella and dark chocolate and was very rich and delicious. We also go the churros which were so cool and tasty! The owners were so nice and accomodating and the chef/owner graduated from the CIA. Such a cute spot and we will be back!!
