The good thing is the nice place they have at the back. But the burgers are not really what i expected (at least the one i ordered). It was ok. It tasted just like a regular burger. First time i went there, i asked for fries with cheese and i was extremely disappointed. The fries were sorta cold and cheese was not that great either. But it's still a great place to have lunch with a couple of friends. I'll definitely give this spot another chance.

This review is long awaited lol. I used to pass this place sometimes leaving from hunter college, I was craving a burger and went in. I asked for it medium rare-and my god. It was wayyyy on the rare side that I had anticipated for. It was like they put it on the grill for 5 mins, the whole inside was red :o. I had left already so not much I could do about it. I could not eat a burger that could lead to me regretting it later. For 8 bucks-uh no.

Disgusting. I ordered a steak and cheese from seamless.com the order got here quick which I was surprised about. Then when I are th www.sandwich I knew why. It was gross the meat was cooked thank God. But the peppers onions were not washed properly every bite I took tasted like fresh ground soil. I was so hungry I took the veggies out but it was too.bb late I honestly felt I was eating a dirt and cheese. Never again.

I order on seamless all the time and this place is a favorite. They are super fast and have a text message confirmation that let lets you know when your food is on its way. I give it 3 stars bc i wish they had a choice of what type of roll you order with a breakfast sandwich. I ordered one recently and they send me a hamburger bun instead of the regular kaiser roll. In addition to that it was burnt and soggy! The sausage on the sandwich was too largely cut and the sandwich looked messy. I would also advise they improve their homefries. Nothing to rave about. I will revisit this review in the future to follow up. Otherwise if you want fast efficient service this place is it.

Not my favorite spot to dine in, as the seating is both limited as well as cramped, and the patio is ... well, let's just say there are a lot of pigeons. That said, I enjoy the burgers, and while the salads are on the pricy side, it's a sizable, healthy lunch. Order via Seamless. The response time is superb.

This is a great place if you want to stop by for a quick lunch & want to enjoy the weather. They have outdoor seating as well as indoor. The food is really good here. I had a burger with fries & an Arizona for $10, mind you this is in the city. So the pricing was pretty cheap. My friend got a quesadilla & it was to die for! They also have breakfast food & sides like onion rings & all that good stuff. What I didn't like was that it was like 80 degrees outside & they didn't have a/c indoors. They should work on that., minus 1 star :c but other then that, there was nothing wrong :)

Whenever I'm in the neighborhood I make sure to stop in. Salads are great, and everything is very tasty. If you are looking for a quick bite for a good price this is the place.

I ordered a beef burger deluxe with cheese and a small iced tea. The price was average for the location (UES). The burger was delicious and the fries that came with it were wonderful. I am giving this place three stars (A-OK) because the service wasn't that great; it was A-OK. The cashier was talking to so many people at once and was perceived to have a poor/meh-like attitude. Additionally, the person who took our order didn't seem like they cared; there was a sense of nonchalance.

Went her for lunch with a friend and ordered a bacon double cheeseburger deluxe and a regular bacon double cheeseburger. The service was mediocre at best and bordering on rude. The food quality was the worst I've had in a long time and I'm still feeling the effects of the burger that I couldn't even finish. The overall taste was burnt something. And the worst part is, even though the prices were clearly posted, they charged us way more than what was posted and had no explanation when we asked why. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because the cheesecake slice we ordered was pretty good compared to the quality of the burgers. Maybe we should've just stuck with the salad. :/

Place is great for breakfast at a very good price. The Panini I feel is overpriced. The place gets crowded during peak hours there aren't too many seats.

I love this place. So nice that you can still get a nice, big, juicy burger cooked just for you for like, what was it, $5.50? I musta left my neon-plexiglass ankh necklace and my paisley flannel shirt in the bathroom 'cause this has got to be 1994 right? America's Burgers, keepin' it real with the deals on the UES in 2014 who would think? I will say that you need to tell them to be patient with the grill time, because if you let them they'll give you an undercooked burger (and I like mine medium-rare, so...pretty inexcusable). Shouldn't be on you to do that, that's their job. Happened to me the first time. Minus one star. But I'll be back.

I've ordered from here numerous times and it's always the same song and dance. Today I got oatmeal with a banana and it might as well been a sliced banana thrown in warm water. They guy at the register is always rude (everyone else is very pleasant) and the prices are high.

ordered a chicken sandwich. Nothing fancy right? $10. Took it back to my office, the chicken was barely cooked. it was a mess as well. It's pouring outside and they take my food out of the plastic bag and give me a paper bag. I asked for it to be placed back in the plastic bag, he rolled his eyes. everything in the fridge (sodas, water) were luke warm....nothing cold.

It took over an hour for my food to get delivered. The delivery person never called me to ask for any help. When I called the restaurant to ask where my food was, the man on the phone yelled at me because my office is apparently too difficult to deliver to. I will not be ordering from here ever again.

There are so many burger joints around and I could say that this one is on par with other average places I have been to. Food is good. Price is decent enough. Service was just okay for me, well it wasn't that crowded the first time I went here so that's why.

Freshly squeezed orange juice, no Tropicana. Good variety of bagels. Turkey bacon is available. The staff is welcoming upon arrival. There is outdoor seating to enjoy your breakfast or take your break at lunch.

I really wanted to enjoy this food. Burgers are my favorite, and it was actually fairly affordable for the Upper East Side. With the tip it was a little over $8, which isn't bad, but isn't ideal. It was the first I'm I've actually had a bad burger since moving here. The meat seemed to be decent quality, but it was way overcooked. I asked for it medium, and I got it well-done, so it tasted charred. I finished it because I was starving and because I don't like to make a fuss, but it's enough that I won't order from here ever again. Way too expensive for a burger that's sub-par. I can do better at McDonalds. The service was good though. It was very fast and the delivery-guy was nice. I just wish the food was better.

I had a $10 Groupon Now credit that I used to get $15 to this place. I feel bad complaining because I got all my food for free... But here I go. My chicken caesar wrap was waaaay too salty. Inedibly salty. The iceberg lettuce was fine, but it was ruined by too much salty dressing, soggy oversalted croutons, and oversalted halal-style chicken. I had a few bites and threw it away. I also had a make-your-own salad, which was fine (but how do you mess that up?). The people who made the food were nice enough, but the man behind the cash register was a total jerk. I had spoken to him on the phone earlier to ask about the coupon and he was rude and brusque and tried to tell me that I couldn't use the coupon. Then when I paid with it, he rolled his eyes at me, scrutinized the coupon as though he was looking for some way to reject it, and added up my total on a napkin. He glared at me when he told me that I owed 85 cents. I said, "Oh, for tax?" and he shouted "Tax is on everything!" Not sure what that means, but I don't like being shouted at for no reason. Rude, rude man. Don't put your business up on Groupon if you don't want people to buy it! All in all, this was a waste of free.

Every time I eat at this place, I wind up paying more than seems normal for the kind of food I'm getting. Every time, I'm like, why do I come back here? Then today took the cake when I ordered a sandwich with chicken and was given one with red meat, but didn't realize it until I had left. So from now on, I'm sticking to never going back here.

I've ordered from here a few times, as well as have gone to eat at the store itself. They have a nice outside seating area in the back, which is lovely on a nice day. I haven't had a variety of things from here, but my favorite thing would be the Turkey Delight Panini. I get their salad often, but am always disappointed. They include hardly any lettuce. I've order both large and small salads, and this remains true. They make up for this by adding a ton of the ingredients that you chose, however, I would rather have more lettuce than an entire cucumber and 2 tomatoes worth of chopped tomato. It is very affordable in comparison to other places where you can create your own salad, so I guess you get what you pay for.

OMG WHY ALL THE BAD REVIEWS?!? I love this place. I just ordered from seamless at 9:05 and my food got here at 9:17. pretty amazing. I got the greek salad with chicken wrap and fries. OKAY so this total was incredibly inexpensive ($13) INCLUDING tip. here I am expecting really soggy fries like the ones from dinners and a really gross wrap . my fries were so crispy and amazing. my wrap was so full of flavor yes the wrap is huge. I only ate half. So what?! anyways. I suggest getting delivery here. this is my first time and I plan to order from here ATLEAST 3x a week from now on. YAY!

It was okay. Great for a wrap on the run. I didn't expect much so what I got was considerably better. I got the chicken wrap with mayo lettuce tomato and american cheese. I added a ton of hot sauce since it basically didn't have much flavor but cest la vie on the upper east side. My friend got the philly cheese steak which looked MUCH more yummy. I will def get that next time. The people there are really nice and actually care what you feel. Their fries are great too.

The food at this joint is A-OK. Not great, not awful. Just A-OK. I had the veggie burger. Like other veggie burgers I've had on the Upper East Side, it's this weird, really soft veggie patty. All these restaurants must buy from the same distributor. The burger here is massive, and the side of fries fills the entire plate. The burger literally sits on a plate of fries. There was nothing wrong with the veggie burger (i.e., it wasn't awful), but it wasn't great either. My boyfriend had the cheesesteak wrap. It came with an odd BBQ-like sauce. He wasn't impressed. All in all, this place is OK. Big servings for what you pay.

Their wraps are fine for a quick meal. Nothing above average honestly. Their prices are a bit steep for the value as well.I mean $8 for a turkey panini without anything else not even a bag of chips is a bit much in my opinion. But overall it gets the job done.

I used to go here a lot when I went to school in the area, and remember it being good but not great--it gets the job done. Last night, I was looking for a quick and inexpensive dinner to eat on the go. I ordered the Santa Fe wrap which sounded really appealing--grilled chicken, grilled vegetables, BBQ sauce. Ya know. What I received and (shockingly) proceeded to eat was one of the most disgusting things I have ever eaten ANYWHERE in New York City. It was vile. I cannot even describe my disappointment and disgust at what I paid for. It was a partially-closed, watery, drippy wrap with some chicken (that was fine) and a boatload of disgusting slimy vegetables. No BBQ sauce--unless it was the watery brown ooze that got all over the table and me. Also, the choice of vegetables was terrible--it was what looked like an onion, some kind of pepper, and these rubbery mushrooms that looked and tasted like tire rubber. Like, what did I even eat? I'm still not sure. It was so gross. The only reason I didn't complain was that I had to get to an appointment. As a side note, I had to go to their restroom to wash the sandwich ooze off my hands and forearms (WHY) and it was revolting. It smelled like a homeless person lived in there--like urine and bleach and misery. I had to wash my hand or I wouldn't have touched anything. Turned the faucets and doorknob with a paper towel and GTFO. Never again. Such a waste. Ew. Feel gross just writing this.

My go-to gyro joint. In general though, they have a mean grill and can cook up breakfast or a big, unhealthy burger anytime. Sometimes I get baked potatoes and they are always nice indulgence. It's pretty much all the fast, greasy food I want and always does the trick. Is it the best burger I have ever had? No. But do they have a ton of my money? Yes. But mostly cuz of their gyros.

This was my 2nd time visiting this place. The first time I had a amazing cheese burger that just made you smack your lips like you are sitting in someones backyard and your alone. This time it was just okay. I had the philly cheesesteak, guess I should keep that as a Philly thing. The gentleman behind the register over charged me and when he realized it he gave me the balance he owed me. I thought that was very honest of him to do. I will stick to there burgers though. Flamed grilled, fat and juicy - just how I like it! LOL They have a seating area in the back if you would like to dine in as well.

A great find on seamless web - cheap, fast, and a low minimum requirement! The veggie burgers here are great. I can't really speak for much else, and I've never actually been to the physical location. But this is easy one of my "go-to's" when I need a quick and easy dinner on a weekday night.

Large Burgers. Literally Flame Grilled! Big ol' flame you can see when they cook it, and then you can taste it. Love the new style screw-capped aluminum Cola bottles I discovered here...how so biodegradably earth-conscious, beautiful, and perfectly ice cold. The cook was hispanic and extremely friendly, even after I made him make me a burger near closing time when they'd just started cleaning up the grill. Sweeeet! Total Price: $10.71 including tax for a deluxe burger with fixings, half fries / half onion rings, and soda. 1 block away from Hunter College.

Great burgers are found nowhere but here in the Upper East Side! I loved getting fat here, as I went almost every week when I lived in New York. Try their smoothies too, they're awesome. They also have a private seating area in a small outdoor courtyard in the back of the restaurant, where you can enjoy the outdoors with some great food.

I dont know why people are giving this place negative reviews. The burgers are fantastic. I know some other reviews didn't like the chicken caesar wrap but when I got it I thought it was good. They have a nice outdoor area and frequently have on ESPN and soccer games on the TV inside. For a neighborhood with very few lunch places, I think this place is a gem
