Love to stop by Dale Bagels on the weekend even though I moved from the neighborhood I still get up and drive there before the family wakes so I can come home with a bangin breakfast!! During the week if I'm working close enough to stop by I make sure to get my BEC or Heathy Choice, best bagels in Brooklyn, not Tasty Bagels, not Bagel Boy, Dale comes first then the rest.

If you go in and there's a big line, and you don't order from Chris at the register or the brother with less hair, you're order will get messed up or lost. I might have thrown a V-8 at the other brother once, but he had given my sandwich to a Cop and I was super pissed. The other bad time to go in is when the teachers from the school a block away all come in to get coffee and lunch... they must be part owners because they always cut in front of me as if they own the place. Im doing better with my anger issues now and I still hit up Dale Bagels at least 5 times a week.

This is like one of those obscure New York deli's that end up featured in some prominent foodie blog or article when someone comes across it and tries their awesome breakfast sandwiches. However, it's still a secret, undiscovered neighborhood gem! This place makes THE BEST bacon, egg, & cheese sandwiches I have ever had in my life! The egg was thick, warm and fluffy; the bacon is sizzled to a heavenly crisp; the layer of melted American cheese on top will make for a memorable breakfast experience that should be enough to run that filthy nearby Dunkin Donuts out of business! Have it with a lightly-sweetened iced coffee and you're good to go!

Yelp rule number one, if you see a place with close to five stars and under 20 reviews chances are high that it's all the owners friends or family writing the reviews. I came here during breakfast and there was no greeting and not even what can I get for you when nobody else was even in the store. Okay I've had bad service before, no problem if the bagels are actually good. NOPE the bagel was hard and the bag was dripping with oil. Relax there cook. Not everyone wants a grease mess. This place is what it is. A poor deli with some coffee. Nobody should look further than that.

I come here on Saturday and Sunday mornings before my games to grab some breakfast to eat on the road. My food of choice is a Whole Wheat Everything bagel, toasted with veggie cream cheese. Simple but effective. However, this bagel is one of the best bagels I've ever had in this neighborhood. The service is pretty good and the guys behind the counter are friendly. They have gotten my order wrong once or twice but hey, nobody is perfect all the time. I haven't come here at any other times but if their sandwiches are as good as their bagels I might have to give it a try one day.

Hands down the best bagels in Brooklyn! Always fresh, warm, and so freakin' tasty! I swear, I don't know what they put in them.. Anytime I've wanted to try something new I've reverted to ordering a bagel. The everything bagel is my favorite, along with their vegetable cream cheese (my mouth is salivating right now). This place has been consistent for many years and never fails. The service is quick and friendly. You must stop by if you're in the area!

Best bagels in Brooklyn by far, and believe me I have tried a lot of 'em. These are really large and have that soft, almost gooey texture that you can only find in NY. I send bagels to my family down south each year from various places and these are everyone's favorite. I read reviews about bad rolls, croissants, etc. and I cannot review those items, as I am sensible enough not to order a roll from a bagel place and expect it to be amazing. I mean, I do not review a steak house based on their fish sticks...ya know what I mean? The pricing I find to be pretty good. Their pastries are good, some look crappy but most are fresh in the mornings. Their deli items like tuna fish, deli meats, etc. are also good. The service, well that can vary. I was very confused the first few times I came here and every time I come (unless it is nearly empty), I always have this awkward 'where do I stand to wait' feeling. But, this is kind of the norm at bagel places, so it isn't something to deduct a star for. The people ringing you up at the counter are always polite though.

I love this place. I don't even like bagels, but these ones are soft and chewy and really delicious. They have mini ones and medium sized ones, too, if you don't want a regular large bagel. They have rolls, croissants and other pastries, muffins, eggs, and a deli selection of meats and cheeses, cole slaw, caprese salad, egg, tuna, & potato salads, mixed vegetables, various cream cheese flavors, etc. The guys who work there are so incredibly nice, too. Just a great neighborhood spot, especially on a lazy weekend morning.

I absolutely love this deli. The bagels are fresh; the prices are low; the service is fantastic. This deli sets the gold standard for every other deli in the city.

When you go to dale's early enough and the bagels are hot and fresh, there is just something about these bagels that makes them so damn good. Any other time of the day and they're okay, but if you go 7am, you're in for a real treat.

Best bagels in Bensonhurst...check them out first thing on a Saturday or Sunday morning for a delicious treat. Rumor has it that the little guy that works there actually lives underneath the store and he has an army of little guys making immaculate bagels for him. Maybe he sleeps by an oven, who knows!

I have been going to this bagel store religiously for 10 years and they are by far my favorite. John is a newer owner he is there all the time meeting and greeting customers. The products are outstanding and fairly priced. Most people don't realize they deliver and offer curbside service if you can't find a parking spot.
