The Veggie Philly is my favorite veggie burger in the city (much better than Joy Burger Bar up the street). Toppings offering is awesome turning an otherwise healthy meal into a decadent sin. Small location means this is more of an ideal delivery / takeout kind of place.

I ordered from P.S. Burger tonight and I haven't been so disappointed in a take out order in a long time. I am extremely wary of food poisoning so whenever I order burgers from somewhere for the first time, I get them cooked medium. My food arrived in the time frame allotted which was the only positive thing I can say. The fries were pretty soggy for some reason, but it was the burger that grossed me out. I took a bite only to discover the inside was bright red! I wouldn't have eaten it if I had cooked it myself, it looked completely raw. I called the restaurant and they said they'd send another and to expect it in 40 mins. I wasn't thrilled about the timing but I figured better late than never. An HOUR later I called to find out if it was on its way (my original order was placed almost two hours ago at this point so I was starving) and the girl I talked to told me they hadn't made the replacement... I am now waiting to see if they come through this time although I am not feeling optimistic. I have to say, I've been to the Mineola location and its 100x better. EDIT: The replacement burger arrived an hour later. Fully cooked but sans the cheese and toppings I paid extra for. Oh well. Placed my original order at 6:20 got the final burger at 9:12.

One of the best places to go for a burger & fries in the West Village. Everything on the menu is great & extremely filling (including the salads), but I recommend ordering the P.S. Mexico if it's your first time here.

Leron's Lesson: Unbelievable burgers that are huge, served with tons of fries and great sauces. You're gonna be stuffed after eating here. Full Review: Recently ordered takeout from P.S. Burgers as a part of a group lunch with my colleagues. To celebrate the well deserved official promotion earned by my fantastic coworker Jinsoo, we chose to get burgers. Almost as good a decision as hiring him in the first place was the decision to have lunch from P.S. Burgers. The food was fantastic. I ordered their Combo Burger which had bacon, an egg, cheese, fries and some awesome special sauce included. After eating it all, I was extremely satisfied and ready to be productive. I'd highly recommend ordering from here. All of my coworkers enjoyed their meals and I could imagine that we will choose this place again in the near future.

The focus of this place seems to be more on the toppings than the meat itself. The menu had plenty of P.S. "signature" burger varieties - Paris, Texas, Mexico, Venice - each one loaded with novel topping combos. These are important! They help cover the mediocrity of the meat itself. I ordered a plain beef burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a fried egg on top. Also ordered a side of fries and some chimichurri. The patty was dry and uninspired, with the beef densely packed in a cookie-cuttered puck shape - you know the kind, with the 90º edges. The egg. Dear Frigg, the egg... Now listen, if you've lived in NYC long enough, you've probably had a fried egg on your burger at some point (I hope so!) - The richness of a runny yolk is great when you don't want cheese. P.S. denied me such joy, overcooking their yolk to a dusty-pale yellow clump nested in rubbery white. Lettuce was shredded, plentiful, and wonderfully harmless. Onion was the red variety, very fresh and oniony. Tomato was a touch green, crunchy, and seemed to deny its own identity. Bun was a big fluffy brioche style thing, which helps protect you from the sharp edges of the patty. Fries were the (frozen?) kind w the weird touch of batter-crust on the outside. I imagine some people like this coating - yet I see it as a way to avoid giving attention to fresh fries, while insuring they stay crunchy no matter how long they loiter, waiting for their destiny. The chimi did not churri. It just laid there, while I had my way with it. We both felt used, afterwards. Overall, P.S. Burgers is just a place looking to sell burgers. If you like buying them, then this is a place you may do that. Yet with so many GREAT burger places within frying distance, I'm not sure why I would buy a burger here again. P.S. Needs more toppings.

My boyfriend ordered a burger from here on Saturday night and got TERRIBLE food poisoning. Woke up at 6 am violently vomiting and you know what else. He had a low fever and could barely move. This lasted all day. It is totally unacceptable to serve meat that is going to make your customers this violently ill. (Everyone else ordered chicken and was fine.)

I came here with a coworker and picked up food. Each of us enjoyed our burgers for different reasons! I am a vegetarian and was not able to order the black bean burger as they were out but instead ordered the vegan burger. The burger was very good and my first vegan burger! I liked how fresh tasting it was - there wasn't a feel or taste of being left in a freezer for weeks on end. Also, they have some fun and unique dipping sauces that are a must try. The chipotle mayo and basil green sauces were great on the burgers or with french fries! The only negative is that the restaurant space is very small - I would pick up and take back with you if possible!

Tip: If you Seamless there is a whole other section to the menu you won't see in-house. Food is so good. I work a few blocks over so I've tasted a good portion of their menu. I've had their beef, turkey, and veggie burgers. All amazing. Their french fries with that chipotle sauce is a must try!!!! I strongly suggest the buffalo chicken empanada.

Definitely one of the best places to go for burgers and fries in eastern village!! I've tried couple of the signature burgers, the buns are perfectly grilled and the meat is super fresh and juicy ( You can choice from rare-well done!) The fries taste amazingly great! I would recommend Paris Burger or chicken special for your 1st visit :) Everything is just awesome and it's very special that you can't find it elsewhere!!!

Pretry good. Onion rings are on point. Cheese truffle fries are amazing.(also a huge portion for the price) chocolate shake, creamy and delicious. Burger was great fresh and juicy cooked perfectly. Loved everything.

I'm going to give them 5 stars strictly based on the food. It's a tiny spot with maybe only 10 seats. I should downgrade them but the hamburgers are really good. They lose a star for customer service and their delivery times are ridiculously slow. 90 minutes. That's really a long delivery window for New York City. But I really love their burgers

  • Eric V.

Went here for lunch, craving a delicious burger and I was not disappointed. They have an excellent selection of toppings, so I opted for a burger with swiss, avocado, tomato and onion with chipotle sauce. The burger overall was massive, and had a ton of fresh Avocado - very satisfying and big enough that you don't need fries. The bun was an amazing toasted brioche, and the chipotle sauce was perfect. My only gripe was the actual meat patty could have been thicker and juicier, so a knock for that, and with toppings and a water it came out to about $12, pretty steep since fries aren't included. Overall, recommended.

I didn't think it was great the first time I visited, but I decided to give it another chance. Service is so slow, I waited over 20 minutes each time. The gruyere fries should have been amazing but instead were greasy and tasteless. The sauces are nothing wonderful. My bun was burned, the entire thing was falling apart before I took my first bite. The fries given on the side were better this time (salted). Overall disappointing and overpriced. Won't be going back.

I'm a burger snob. Burger douche, actually. Sometimes, I think it was better when I thought a Big Mac was the end all be all, because then I could enjoy an "ok, burger". Life is too short for mediocre. Their meat is raised humanely, fed an all veg diet, given names, sleep on soft pillows & raised by leprechauns. That is a plus 4; it is important to me. I ordered the lamb burger with the ususal suspects, plus one add on: fried jalepenos. The top bun had grill marks and the sandwich held up beautfully after a two block walk back to work; plus one for visual beauty. It looked like a winner, until I bit into it. The lamb was bland and dry. That first bite memory had an added bonus of a cold lower bun (as in it just came out of a fridge). It's the strangest feeling to have a warm bun on top, but a cold, lower bun. I was expecting a hand made lamb patty seasoned very well. What I got was a gray patty that looked perfectly round, flat and not cooked medium, like I asked. You can also tell it was previously frozen. Before all the bells and whistles, the meat has to be the star of the show. When compared to Bare Burger's lamb burger, this one fails on all levels. The other parts of the burger didn't hold up either. The lettuce was iceberg, which to me is the worst kind of greens for a burger. All I remember about the rest of that meal was how tasty the chipotle sauce I got on the side was and the fried jalepenos. Minus, 20 No matter what protein you choose to be your foundation, it should be seasoned well and juicy. My friend, who came with, had the bison burger. He gave me the same review of his choice without me even asking. Minus, 1. The fries were served in a brown paper bag, like Burger Joint, and the bag was a greasy mess by the time I sat down and layed out my bounty on the table. That said, the fries were crisp. Dunking it in that spicy chipotle mayo was a bonus. Plus, 2 because I love fries. All of this was $15...with no drink. Minus...fucking, 25. On my second visit, I got a regular burger with pepper jack cheese. Like an Adam Sandler movie, same shit different day. Tasted previously frozen. Bland in seasoning. Looked too gray. Not hand made, but rather pressed perfectly round, which like the lamb, made it taste too dense. Other then it was 4$ cheaper then the lamb, it was another epic fail. Minus, fiddy! Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, fuck me! Sure they have other items on the menu besides burgers, but if you can't get a burger right and "burger" is part of your name... I'm done'zo with this joint! Minus, €

The burger names are of different locations, and contain ingredients that reflect the area. Kudos for the creativity, but even more kudos for the yummy and juicy burgers. They have lots of sauce dips, different sides, and delicious shakes. I've had the PS Mexico and PS Venice, sweet potato fries, and pistachio shake, all of which were really good.

This place makes really fantastic burgers, and it's never that crowded, surprisingly. My usual is a P.S. Texas and fries, which is just a bacon cheeseburger with barbecue sauce. I'm usually not much of a burger person, but the P.S. Texas has me practically addicted. The burger was very flavorful -- exactly what you'd expect out of a fairly basic burger. Nothing fancy, but delicious. Like I said, I'm not much of a burger person, so the fact that I want to eat these burgers all the time is really saying something. Another thing I love about this place is that they're always really fast. I usually pick up, since the seating is extremely limited, and I'll be in and out in less than ten minutes. They're always very courteous as well. Overall, the whole experience with this place is fantastic. I'd highly recommend dropping by.

3.75...rounding up. It was one of those warm days immediately after heavy snow and the sidewalks were slush hell, so I opened up my handy food delivery app. I ordered a New York Burger, which came with fries and a side of chipotle mayo. The New York comes with a beef patty, country ham, mozzarella, and a generous slather of chipotle mayo, all on a brioche bun. The beef patty was average, and if I were writing a review solely on the patty, I would give three stars at best. But, the burger's accoutrements really carry the team to reach 3.75 stars (which I'm think fairly rounds up to 4). The ham alone was okay and nothing to rave about, but it was integral to the burger's overall taste and texture. The cheese is gooey and adds flavor without being overpowering, and the chipotle mayo gives a flavorful kick. The best part of the burger was the brioche bun, which added just a touch of sweetness. The best part of the meal were the fries, which managed to stay crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and hot, even though it was delivered. I would eat here again, but I'd probably like to try out other burgers. Contrast this to San Francisco, where I'm 100% loyal to Roam Burger...

One of the best burgers I've had in the city! Not greasy at all and no attitude given for cooking the burger to your preference. Tried the Mexican burger after reading reviews and it was delicious! Will definitely be back to try others.

Who would have thought that this tiny hole in the wall, found on Seamless, would be the most incredibly burger ever? Everything from the quality of meat and cheese to the fresh and perfectly toasted brioche bun and French fries was delicious! Looking to trying another burger soon!

I came here with a couple of co-workers on Good Friday. Being the great Christian woman that I am, I ordered a very juicy medium rare hamburger with all the fixins'. It was delicious. The fries are insane. Get that chipotle mayonnaise goodness they use for dipping in a bottle and sent my way. Such a gluttonous meal. Great burger. Loved every bite. Until 3 hours later when my body was attempting to digest the son-of-a-cow. $12.00 later and I had a serious case of the chills and stomach pains. I was in complete agony. And the only reason I don't give this place a 1/2 is because the burger was delicious and I'm not sure if it was in fact the burgers fault as to why I felt like I was on the brink of death. It was a cool spot, really small. But a little overpriced for a hamburger.

I briefly got very excited when I stumbled by this burger joint as I love burgers and thought it could be amazing. Sadly it was not meant to be as the burger was average at best. The bison burger was utterly flavorless and the tomato was of incredible poor quality. The service was prompt and the staff appeared friendly and attentive. However, as nice and clean as the establishment was, its end product was not good enough to warrant another try.

  • Mike C.

Worst place ever. Says it is open on New Years Day. I order online. Wait an hour. Try to call, no one ever picks up. Not actually open. Lets just say hungover and starving, the last thing you want is to place an order with a restaurant that claimed it was open but isn't. This place can rot.

    (1)
  • Bryan C.

Burger which was their special wasn't exactly spectacular. The bun was mediocre. Unfortunately so were the toppings (bacon, egg and cheese) that came with it. The best part? The fries! Not sure if I'd come back... Sadly there aren't any good burger joints that offer anything but beef burgers...

  • Peter D.

This place just opened a few months ago and they've already raised their prices. The Grilled Chicken & Avocado, which I love, has gone up from $8.45 to $10.45. TWO DOLLARS. I know rent is ridiculous in the West Village but c'mon man. At least they are generous with the amount of fries they give. It's worth noting that they offer beef, bison, turkey, veggie, and lamb burgers. The staff is friendly and the menu is creative so I will continue to stop in for lunch at P.S. Burgers. Although, not as often as i'd like.

Delicious burgers, great service, awesome, awesome fries. I went in once and tried the Texas burger and it has become pretty much a staple of my weekly (ahem) diet. Should probably try a different burger but hey, when you are on to a good thing.... The take-out is packaged well so the fries stay crisp and the burger stays hot.

We have ordered a meal from these guys through seamless two weeks in a row now. They provide excellent value, great quality food. We have had the meal combo both times which includes a chicken burger (with aoili, lettuce, cheese), a can of soda a a bag of fried chips all for around $12 delivered per person! Incredible value, great tasting food and good choice in food available. Definitely using these guys again for dinner sometime soon!

fantastic burgers, and the website allows you to customize your orders just as you can in person or on the phone. delivery is quick, burgers are inside alumimum/paper bags to keep food warm. and the truffle ole gruyere fries are like crack, except more addictive. It's a good day (or I am in need of a good day) when I order from here for lunch.

I pass this place on my way to the train so I stopped in. I love a good turkey burger and sweet potato fries. The burger and fries were OK.... 20 minutes later after I got them. The service is sooooooo slow. So the next time, I tried ordering on delivery.com well in advance; 25 minutes before I left work. I STILL had to wait 20 minutes when I got there. The food is OK, but the wait time will discourage me from returning there.

I really like this place and have ordered a few times now. Huge selection of unique burger (try the Buenos Aires or the Rio de Jenerio). The fries were a little on the greasy side but very good. And I got mine with a side of this amazing chipotle sauce. Definitely going back.

I ordered the Paris P.S. Burger. It was perfect! I would recommend it to anyone. On top of that, the fries were crunchy and amazing. I loved the dipping sauce, too.

  • Carol W.

They say the third time is a charm. Well so were the first and second. The "Paris PS Burger" was consistently delicious the three times that I ordered it.I love the bun ,it's eggy and warm and after being stored in tin foil and a hot bag for twenty minutes surprisingly not at all soggy. The spinach was a great addition and the fried egg was just cooked enough to be solid but not rubbery.the bacon was not crispy but yummy tasty . And the star of the show was a perfect rare side of medium rare juicy good beef patty. Please buy their burgers so they get to stick around for longer than a New York minute. $10 for more than enough food for one hungry diner is quite reasonable in my book.

I am not a burger person. I hate big pieces of meat that don't allow me to use a knife and fork without looking weird. I hate foods that stack bread on top of meat on top of whatever else in a pile that stands tall enough to reach the heavens and require me to dislocate my jaw in a pacman-like gulp just to get a bite. I hate ground meats that are not made of any discernible cut of the animal, leaving me to imagine I am eating hoof and tongue. I am not a burger person. That said, I was very impressed with PS Burger. I had the Paris burger on a multi grain bun. What I was expecting: A tough bun, messy bites, shit spilling out the sides, too much dijon, and wtf is this spinach doing here? kind of lunch. (Note: I didn't realize it had spinach until after I ordered because I am such a detail-oriented, menu reading genius) What I got: The bun was curiously fresh ( I didn't know multi-grain could be soft and fluffy???) no flavors overpowering the others, perfectly sized sandwich. And the fries automatically come with the meal! (For someone used to Frites and Meats and Red Bamboo that is kind of a big deal that I don't have to shell out any extra dough for fries.) And I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing but for $10 I got full enough that the next day at noon I'm still not ready to eat again. That's a good thing for me as I am on a budget. My only worry is that at 2pm on a weekday, the shop looked pretty empty. Not sure how they'll last that way, but I'll be back today to get my fill.

  • K S.

Was expecting much better. Got a cheeseburger and fries that just weren't any special like I was expecting. If you have "burger" in the name of a restaurant then the burgers should be nothing short of excellence. I'll take 5 Guys or Bareburger any day.

    (2)
  • Vincent D.

Probably my favorite burger joint in the city. Just delicious and well cooked overall. Creative and tasty combinations for their speciality burgers. I'm a huge fan of the pretzel role for almost every burger I get. I've never been disappointed, whether I stopped in to eat, picked up or got delivery. Their shakes are pretty awesome too. The fries are good, but not amazing.

  • Jeffrey K.

Another place that I was excited to try . . . I expecting an experience just short of nirvana, see as though they have quite a selection, both in their meats, and premium toppings. Sadly, it was not meant to be a wonderful experience. I ordered the "P.S. Mexico" burger -- a combination of a beef burger, fried jalapeno, avocado, pepper jack and chipotle sauce -- while the burger was quite spicy (the way I enjoy it), the burger itself was just OK, and the brioche bun was mediocre. The sadder part of this meal experience was the Gruyere and Truffle Oil fries. I am a bit of a cheese head and can tell a quality cheese when I taste one. With Truffle Oil, the fries and topped with the Gruyere should have been a taste sensation, but they fell flat -- either because there was no seasoning (i.e. salt which should have accompanied the cheese), or the truffle oil just was not up to snuff. In any case, while I may go try another burger creation, I am done spending extra for premium sides that do not give a premium experience.

  • Simone W.

P.S. Burgers is a narrow hallway of a burger joint, with an awesome window seat/booth. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, the fries are seasoned perfectly and are super crisp the special sauce is addicting. They also have funnel cakes which I unfortunately didn't get to try because I was so full off the burger and fries...next time I'll have to leave more room.

Awesome burgers. I've had the New York burger twice and both times it's been great. Nice fries also! Definitely recommend

Surprisingly good burger. Nice and juicy. The jalapenos and onions I ordered really helped. Fries were also pretty good

The buns are too much bread for the patty - if they fix the ratio it would be much better.

  • Virginia R.

***This is for takeout only*** I really enjoy the takeout from here, I'm now a two-time-orderer and have been pleased both times. The burgers are cooked to my liking and I really dig the pretzel roll. For those who like light sesame seed buns, stick to your buns because I'll order a burger from here just to have the pretzel roll!! They even threw in fries (when I didn't ask= SCORE)! And I'll admit, I happened to order a cookies and cream shake the second time around, which was sufficient. It wasn't an OMG, I die for you milk shake but it got the job done. Oh, and the cayenne ranch sauce is a highlight. I'll be ordering again.

  • Meghan M.

The real winner here are the fries with gruyere and truffle oil. They ROCK. Burgers are good, too, though heavy on the bread. I very much liked the "PS Hawaii" with pineapple, bacon, and cajun sauce. The combination of the two, though...TOO. MUCH. FOOD. I wish I liked hamburgers more than I do and didn't care about eating healthy as much as I do...If those wishes came through, I'd be a regular.

  • Jay G.

Okay. I wish I could give this 3.5 stars... but I can't... moving forward. I was on my way to Joe's Pizza for a slice ready to stop at an ATM to get cash out, as I was thinking how annoying it is when restaurants don't accept cards this gentleman hands me a "to-go menu" for a new burger place which we were standing right outside of on Carmine St. My first question was 'Do you take credit cards?' his answer was yes, and in I went. You can tell it was new by the frantic confusion behind the counter, it was very hot and smokey in there, decor was pretty dope tho, and really clean. I ordered a cheese burger ($5) with american cheese topped with bacon ($1) with chipotle mayo and a side of fries. It all came to $12... ehhhhhh I know not cheap. If you've ever had the NYC Burger truck "Frites n' Meats" this burger is VERY comparable to theirs. They use that same weird bun that they grill for a couple of seconds, not a fan. Other then that the bacon was not that crispy, they gave me the chipotle on the side and I asked for it on the burger, but the burger was cooked really perfect. Taste was a little above average. It was filling, only got through half of my fries which were also a little above average. The chipotle mayo tasted like Mayo mixed with Gulden's brown mustard, and nothing more... below average. Overall, if you like the burgers from 'Frites n' Meats' you should give this one a try, but their fries are not nearly as good as 'Frites n' Meats' fries. I don't see how this can stack up with the rest of the burger joints around.

  • Kate R.

Love this burger place. The hawaii burger with the pineapple and fried onion rings was insanely good. Sweet potato fries on the side made it that much better. My boyfriend got the burger with the avocado and jalepenos, also great but not as good as mine! We both tried milkshakes, peanut butter and cookies and cream. Both were amazing as you can imagine. Dreaming about it still!

Loves these guys. Burgers are so good and well priced. You can eat in or deliver but they are more of a delivery type of place. The sauces are great as well.

Why do people like this place? The patty tastes worse than the frozen ones you get at Costco. But fries and toppings were delish,, hence the two stars.

meh.... bread is dense bison patty looks like it was frozen cheese is coagulated toppings are generic i dont really see what concept they bring to the over saturated buger world. service is excellent however. its food but not sure its west village worthy
