Tried bagel wagon after avoiding for 4 years. Service still terrible. Went in to get 2 coffees. 4 people working there. I was 1 of 3 customers there at 2pm. I was ignored for 5 minutes just to pay for self serve coffee. I probably should have just walked out with free coffee but I am to honest. Will not be back.

I love this bagel place. I don't know why there are so many negative reviews on here. The customer service is great, they remember their customers by name and are very nice. I love calling my order in and picking it up, and if I go in without calling the wait is never long. Their omelette platters are huge (I get egg whites with grilled chicken and spinach) and their bagel and egg sandwiches are out of this world. I got a bacon egg and cheese with avocado this morning, and it was the best bagel I've ever had. They beat any bagel store that I've ever been to in the area.

coffee is just ok,, need to change the brand of coffee owner switched to smaller cups, same price why wear rubber gloves when you are handling money and then handling food with the same gloves ?????

Ran the Massapequa park turkey trot Saturday where there were bagels sitting out. Grabbed one and immediately fell inove rips outside doughy inside. Perfect bagel consistency! I realized bagel wagon sponsored the race and knew where I was getting breakfast post run. Observations in no order: 1. There is a good parking lot with lots of parking. Big deal when you're running in for a quick breakfast. 2. They take credit. Not all bagel places do. And I hate that. 3. The bagels are very tasty. I had 2 fried eggs and Swiss on and everything bagel and it was perfect. 4. They have a a special which includes coffee and is pretty cheap 5. They have a good coffee selection with different flavors (I had chocolate raspberry!) and skim milk to go with it! So rare. 6. Ketchup packets are easily accessible. For some reason I always forget to ask for ketchup and its a hassle. Not here 7. Friendly staff 8. Decent amount of seating All in all I think I found MY bagel place!

Just walked in and waited at the counter for 2 minutes-- store was almost empty. A girl with long red hair made eye contact with me but didn't offer help. She and the other employees were too concerned with picking their boxes on the wall for tomorrow's Super Bowl. 3 of them were talking amongst themselves while I waited. I just walked out. On my way to another one of the many bagel stores in the area that I'm sure will greet me and offer to help.

I have been driving by this place since I moved to Seaford and never stoped in. So today in the rain and hungry as I passed by I pulled in, very glad I did. The place was packed, that is always a good sign. All the cream cheeses and fish looked really good, but since I am trying to diet I went for the egg white wrap with fresh turkey and alpine lace swiss. Wow! Really delicious. The turkey was moist and tasty. I am definitely going back again.

It's a pretty decent sized store right off of Merrick Road. So far I've had their breakfast which was very good. Their egg and cheese on a roll was great. And their bagels... likewise! Freshly made. I haven't had a sandwich from them yet but I expect it'll be just as good. There's not too much seating for big groups, but definitely enough. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.

This place deserves zero stars. I politely mentioned something to a female worker that my food was being handled with the same gloves that had just touched my money. Her response was, "technically it is not a health violation, money in fact is not the dirtiest thing." If I hadn't already paid I would have walked out on the spot. How cheap or lazy can you be to not change your gloves while touching someones food. Pretty sure they wouldn't be doing that if they were the ones eating it. Clearly a great way to treat a paying customer. We live less than one block away and will absolutely NEVER be going back & will make sure that other people avoid this place as well. This is my first yelp review ever & due to complete ignorance I felt it necessary. After reading others reviews I see I am not the only one who feels this way.

It's nice how the owner does not care about their customer. Asked for a call back when I spoke with the girl who answered the phone and was told he would call back as soon as possible. Never got a call back. It's a week or so later!

Amazing bagles! Just how I love NY bagles: crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle and chewy enough to make your jaw sore. Yum! A bagle that doesnt fit that criteria might as well be from anywhere else! The people were also friendly and their prices are hard to beat. Great specials. Open 24hrs a day. Of course these bagles are best when fresh. We only went in the morning. Out of all the bagles in the area this was my fav. Those other people are just whining!

Lower East Side comes to Massapequa. Best Bagel on LI! When I can't make it to Kossars Bialy on Grand Street, I go to the Bagel Waagon!

Was in the area and rather than wait till I got home I decided to try a new place. Stopped at the Bagel Wagon for a 1/2 dozen bagels. They had nothing fresh and the bagels were just ok nothing special. staff moved pretty slow, But were friendly once served. I would have to say I would not go back again.

The food is OK. Bagels, egg sandwiches aren't horrible. However their customer service is atrocious. For starters, the girls who work there are extremely unkempt. Do you really think that when working in food service it is okay to have hair EVERYWHERE?! I wanted to retract my order because of it. There is also a man there who NEVER changes his gloves when handling food/money. He is never friendly. No hi, how are you. Nothing. All I have to say is this: would the employees of the Bagel Wagon order from this place themselves? It's a shame because it is so conveniently located for me, but I would rather spend extra money in gas to go to the Better Bagel in Amityville than this horrible place.

I've been coming to this establishment since they opened and all I have to say is that they have completely gone down hill since opening... The last two times we have come here the employees did not change their gloves between handling food and money... When I asked the employees to change their gloves after handling the money the attitude I got was over the top... Forget it, even if I didn't say anything, the attitudes from the employees are inappropriate... Today I went here against my own judgement and I was disgusted worse than ever...The older man (who I refuse to ever let handle my food anymore) NEVER changes his gloves... I watched him the whole time and he was between handling food, money and scratching his buttocks all with the same gloves... If I was the department of health, I would violate them in a heartbeat... NEVER going back!

Bagels are ok but there are definitely better places around. The reason I'm only giving 1 star is the fact that customer service is non-existent at this place. I'm not sure what the guy's name is (white hair, white scruff, glasses) but 2 times I've gone in there and he had an attitude toward me both times. Not even a "Thank you, have a nice day" despite the fact that I said it to him. Customer service goes a long way in my book and the fact that this guy seemed annoyed that I was giving him business is horrible. The only reason I would think about going back to this place is if they were still open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays (like they once were) and this was my only option at the time.
