I personally had never heard of N.C.P. but I do paid surveys on e-rewards and I redeem gift certificates not many choices so they were on the list and I chose a $15.00 g.c. which was good after you spend $30.00. I was pleasantly surprised my whole family seemed to have really enjoyed the food, we ordered a pizza & wings special. They will definitely get our business again with or without a g.c.

The pizza was pleasantly good! I was happy to finally find a place that I thought was worthily of consuming pizza again. I think I've found my new favourite pizzeria. This little place just recently opened about 3 months ago, but I didn't get to try it till today and I'm glad I did. The pizza isn't greasy and although a little thicker than how I would like it, it was perfect to hold up more than 1 topping. Prices are very reasonable and the variety of different food items is great! The owners are from NYC (Queens/Long Island area), they told me. Which made me expect just that much more... cause they would know how us NYers like our pizza :D And they're the friendliest people!

This is not necessarily Buffalo pizza and not necessarily NY pizza. It's got all the dough of Buffalo with the bite of NYC and a decent cheese that Buffalo so often lacks. I got a plain cheese pie and it came looking lovely- just browned enough. I ordered from Grubhub and it came 20 minutes earlier than predicted. The delivery woman, who I think may also be an owner or manager was very sweet to me and to my overly-enthusiastic dogs. Everything was warm and delicious. It's not going to be my go-to when craving the NYC pizza that I miss so much, but for reliably tasty pizza served with professionalism and a smile I think its pretty terrific.

Ordered four times now and each time I've been impressed. The specialty pizzas are all killer and their stinger sub is highly recommended. We're really happy to have this joint in the neighborhood and being able to order with the eat24 app is the best. Super easy, reasonable delivery times, very good pizza.

The people are great, the food is even better. You can order online/via an app and delivery is always prompt. I used to always order an antipasto when I ordered pizza, and I haven't in years because it sure seems like Buffalo pizza places switched to using pre-packaged ones from a distributor. They're always stale, small, and crappy. A good antipasto can be a meal unto itself, and Nickel City's is amazing.

Wings are good pizza is not. Choose something else if you're looking for good pizza. The crust was ok but the sauce had no flavor.

I eat here all the time since I live on West Tupper. Great service and I like the sauce.

We ordered delivery from here tonight (Wednesday) via the eat 24 app. The ordering process was excellent - i love that app although I do wish that there were more restaurants that used it. We got a small pizza and a full chicken finger sub to share. I must just be a super picky pizza eater... Or they had an off night. The crust was probably one of the worst I've had in a while. It tasted stale, there was no good "chewiness" to it like what I would expect out of a good pizza. The ingredients (cheese, pepperoni, onions and green olives) were good, I do like how they used the cup and char pepperoni like any self-respecting pizzerias should. The chicken finger sub was nice and big. I've never been a fan of chicken finger subs but my fiancé said that it was pretty good so I trust him. All in all, the entire experience was pleasant even though I was quite disappointed with the pizza crust. Perhaps I am a pizza snob? My favorite pizza places are Santora's (the original one in Depew), Picasso's (a chain related to Santora's and makes similar pizzas), Rocco's in Williamsville, and la Tavola on hertel ave where they make wood oven pizzas. I used to like Just Pizza and La Nova when they were good, although in recent years they have completely gone to "poop". I don't know if this really makes me a "pizza snob", but I know that I know good food, and sadly, this pizza did not qualify. Honestly, I think even DiGiornos pizza crust is better! I did read that it's a local place so we will likely order again just to support local business. We will just have to stick with subs :-P

After wondering where the hell to order a pizza from in buffalo, Nickel city shined bright on Yelp with it's 5 star reviews! We ordered delivery several times while staying at the Comfort Suites and delivery was always reasonably timed. Not knowing what to expect we were pleasantly surprised to discover that a small size pizza is almost a large size we are used to in Toronto, not to mention delicious! The pizza tasted like the best pizza ever the moment we tried it. This is a family run pizzeria and they are super friendly and awesome! I will surely miss this place!

OK, take two. The pizza didn't require any assembly this time. Red onion makes for a nice looking pie but I was expecting the traditional sweet onion. The deep fried cauliflower was perfect. They close up shop a little earlier than your other options, but this place will be my new default for delivery when they are open.

Vegan Glory Pizza. It lives up to the name. The owner explained ow careful they are with the vegan pizzas to make sure there isn't any cross-contamination, so the vegan pizzas can take a little longer. They explained up front when my beloved placed the order, asking if it was OK if it took an hour. The vegan pizza has its own lovingly made San Marzano tomato sauce because the regular sauce has cheese. The sauce is delicious and full of flavor. I can't say how much I appreciate this because most pizzerias put cheese in their sauce and the other place up the street offering vegan pies doesn't use sauce on any of their specialty vegan pies. The toppings: onions cooked for an hour, hearty strips of roasted red peppers, and really wonderful quartered artichoke hearts. They use a generous amount of Daiya mozzarella, which I like ok but don't usually love, but because of all the great flavor going on, you only notice the melty cheesy goodness of it. The sauce, crust, and toppings are so good that you could skip the cheese altogether if you preferred. A large will run you $22 plus tax, but it's huge and will easily feed four hungry adults, which I don't think is true of many large pizzas.

I am so excited to have a delicious pizza place nearby who also delivers - thank you! I had stopped by a week ago to pick up a menu since I couldn't locate one online and the owner (I believe) was there and greeted me so nicely that I couldn't wait to try their food. Everything is homemade and ingredients are of a high quality plus free delivery! Before ordering I did find them on GrubHub where I could order, pay online (big plus) and my pizza arrived within 40 minutes (and with a smile - wonderful delivery woman!). I immediately opened the pizza box and what greeted me was a beautiful pie. Plus, it was delicious and impressively undisheveled (unlike pizzas I've ordered from another local place...) We will be ordering again!

They replaced another pizzaria that was at that location. Decided to try them out since they are very local. Wings were crispy and juicy. Hot wasnt all that hot though, but still good. The pizza was...not all that good (we had regular ol' cheese and pepperoni). The sauce tastes like regular store brand spaghetti sauce which is really very gross on a pizza. I prefer to save my bleu cheese (from the wings) for my pizza, and it just didnt taste like GOOOD bleu cheese. Its more of a salad dressing consistency, very smooth. Bleu cheese is supposed to be chunky and almost grit like. The fact that they close at 9 PM on a Sunday is also kinda a bummer.

We don't live in the immediate area but we stopped in with a restaurant.com certificate. The woman up front was so nice and welcoming. It's a tiny place, we're talking one table here, but it makes it feel more home-like. I couldn't get over how CLEAN this place is. Not a crumb or dust bunny to be seen! Our food was out in five minutes- the woman even went back to the kitchen to help cook so it would come out faster! My husband ordered a steak hoagie and I ordered a five piece chicken fingers (barbecue sauced) and we also grabbed two desserts off the counter- a chocolate chip cookie and a brownie. With the certificate, our bill came to $13. Well worth it! We drove 25 minutes home and couldn't wait to enjoy our food. My husband's hoagie was huge, full of meat, and it was gone in a blink! I was lucky enough to get a bite of it and it was so yummy. The meat was cooked PERFECTLY and the onions and peppers were sweet and delicious. My chicken fingers were sauced perfectly and I loved the sauce. Sweet barbecue with a hint of spice. The fries were good as well (only lukewarm by the time we got home but that was our fault for living so far away! Haha) All-in-all, this place is worth the trip. They advertise a $6 lunch (including tax) that I would get every day if I lived closer! Well done, Nickel City Pizzeria!

I was really hoping for a good food experience here since I live close by and would like to have a cool place to patronize regularly. So I tried them out by ordering a single wings for takeout. I asked for extra crispy. Twice. When I got home the wings were so undercooked and rubbery I had no choice but to throw them in the garbage. One star for the disgusting salmonella food. I add a star because when I called to complain, the lady on the phone who took my order was super nice and apologetic and offered to comp a future order. Sorry, one strike ... I don't plan on returning.

Pizza taste like gas station pizza. It is not Buffalo or NYC style. And has the big round flat tasteless pepperoni. Wings average at best, no taste with the hot sauce. The blue cheese was Blue cheese dressing! -very runny and terrible tasting. I've never seen this in a Buffalo area pizzeria before. Don't waste your time and money here.

This place is great. The staff is very friendly and efficient, and their food is great, especially their signature sauce! Definitely a new spot that everyone should try!
