I have been eating breakfast and lunch here for about a year now (my office is within walking distance). EVERYTHING is good. People are super friendly. Currently eating their boneless BBQ chicken and sausage with peppers and onions = party in my mouth.

I usually stop in twice a week before work for coffee/tea and to pick up lunch. The staff is pretty friendly and quick if you're in a rush. I've tried the salads and some sandwiches. I haven't tried everything but I'm pretty pleased so far!

This is my new lunch spot for work. It's a bit farther from me than other delis but that just proves how worth it this place is! I always get fast service and everything I've had there has been yummy. They have a lot of great options and reasonable prices with nice big portions! Staff always seems happy and friendly :)

My co workers and I order from here every weekend. Breakfast is on point, I usually get a salad if it's later in the day & everything is fresh!

I prefer this deli over the Gemini Deli down the street. Though it's not as pretty looking the food is much better. The staff is very nice and helpful. My favorite sandwiches is the X Factor (Chicken cutlet, mozzarella cheese, bacon, coleslaw and Russian dressing on a toasted garlic hero) it's pretty amazing and unique. They have your standard egg sandwiches pretty good though def not the best on Li. My only complaint would be that they have a debit card limit though I think it's only $5. It's also nicknamed the dirty deli lol

Grabbed an Italian hero on the way to LaGuardia. It was great! Fresh roll with nice chew, ham, cappy, salami, provolone, & good italian dressing. Only wish they'd retire to Florida and open one here.

I have been hitting Melville Deli for over ten years now. This place is Solid. The food is very good. Not gourmet, but solid every time. Focus your attention on the guy working the grill, When he makes you a burrito, we are talking beached whale-sized burrito. And he is as friendly as it gets, and that keeps me coming back for more. When I go to a Deli, I know I'm not at Chez Louie. So when I say the food never disappoints, that two thumbs up for a deli.

VERY FRIENDLY STAFF and A GREAT VALUE! I have worked in Melville for a few years and this place is great for breakfast and lunch. The prices are not insane, like many of the other deli/bagel places in the area. The food is always fresh and I really like their iced coffee. Also, they have daily lunch specials which are good to take advantage of. For example, the $1 tacos on Wednesdays are great! The salads and baked goods are also fresh and very reasonably priced.

This is a typical LI style deli, with a few perks. The owner and staff are extremely friendly, present, and helpful. They have lots of homemade choices on top of the typical deli sammies. Biggest boon to this place are the bagels. While they are not the best bagels on Long Island (Both Stuffin Bagels and 24 HR Bagel in O'side are), they are the best at any deli I have had, and better than every bagel shop in a 5 mile radius of my home near Islip. The more add-ons you get on your sammie, the higher the price. I know that is a pretty intuitive thing to do, but sometimes the price goes up and not in proportion with what I am eating. That is the one complaint I would have. Get a bagel here if you are in the area.

Kinda dirty in this deli. They do have decent selection of hot meals during weekday lunch hours. Slightly over priced in my opinion. I would recommend a different deli nearby.

In many ways a typical Long Island deli. They make a good sandwich, they have tasty prepared hot dishes in VERY nice portions. I know every deli makes a egg, cheese, and a meat on a roll for breakfast, but this was my daily stop for just that when I was in the area. I love the rolls. I love the no nonsense approach the order taker and the cook have.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
