What a come up Applebees! They changed their menu and... oh happy day! Please get the double crunch bone in wings with sweet spicy Asian Chile! But get them well done for some extra extra crunch. Some other faves of mine are the crosscut ribs, pretzels and spinach and artichoke dip! Good job applebees, kudos to you!

Recently, I think Applebee's did a revamp of their menu. This has adjusted prices for some crucial items on their list, as well as changed some of the dishes themselves. For the appetizers (which is literally what this Applebee's is open for), this affects most appetizers, generally for the worse. Additionally, the prices have hiked up just a tiny bit, which is a little more than a nuisance in some cases. Specifically: Wings - they kept wings mostly the same, which almost wants me to keep my rating for this place at 3 stars, but I can't base an opinion on one item at a restaurant like this on principle. The presentation is a little better, though the amount of blue cheese they bring out at first is a little less, which is kind of annoying, since their service isn't too great either. Also, I'm still a bit devastated about their removal of Southern BBQ as a flavor every time I go, even though it was a long time ago. Mozzarella Sticks - there is less total, but the quality of the individual sticks is higher? It makes sharing a little more difficult, but this change is not so bad. Nachos - RIP Old nachos. One of the best parts about the old nachos was just the sheer amount of chips smoothed with unhealthy goodness ranging from cheese to pico de gallo to jalapeños that they gave you. Now, not only are the chips more reserved and expensive (a change they started implementing a while ago), but they are much, much less. A small tragedy indeed. With no improvement in service and overall price increases combined with less food, I just don't think the Half Off Apps experience is as good as it used to be. For this reason, it deserved to be bumped down just one notch.

WORST eatery I have ever been to. This place was so bad and disgusting I had to make a Yelp account just to warn other diners. 1. The service was pathetic (read: NONEXISTENT). The waiter came by twice to take our order and we never saw him again after that. 2. The food- HORRENDOUS. We would have been better off just going to the nearest McDonalds (and I would never be caught dead at a McDonalds) but that's how terrible it was. We ordered apps to start- Mozzarella sticks, Spinach and Artichoke Dip and Fries. The Fries were oil slicks disguised as raw potatoes. The Mozzarella Sticks were inedible and the Spinach and Artichoke dip was burnt at the top and watery at the bottom. Can't forget the chips, they were STALE and obviously re-oiled and warmed up. Ridiculous. We tried a bite or two of everything and gave up. I'm now waiting for the food poisoning to commence. We didn't even bother ordering anything else, left the money on the table and left. Tried filling out the online survey but can't since I don't have a copy of the receipt. So I just called to speak to the manager (Derek) who is a COMPLETE douche. He didn't give two sh**s about rectifying the situation. Just said "sorry" and hung up. Are you freaking kidding me? Derek, you're an A**H*LE. No wonder you amounted to nothing but an Applebee's "manager" Will never go to this or another Applebee's ever again. And I STRONGLY SUGGEST you don't go here and save your money or spend it ANYWHERE but here.

This place can't be avoided. The half priced appetizers are great but the half priced drinks are what makes it the prime choice for a chill nighttime activity. It is fun to go with a group of friends, get a big table, and just keep the food and drinks coming. I never go here otherwise though because really, the food isn't that good. After 10pm on a weekend you will have to wait for a table for a while but it's worth it! I highly recommend pizza sticks and a margarita!

I usually come here late night after work for the half price apps, and I usually get the same servers each time, they are fantastic. This time I got a different server and she was terrible, never around and I never got a refill on my water that was empty way before my food came. After I was done eating she just brought the check without asking me if I was done, which made me feel rushed.

CHECK YOUR SILVERWARE! There were snots (yes, boogers) on the napkin of the silverware. Disgusting. We left before we even ordered drinks. Won't return.

I mean it's Applebees, a chain restaurant. Taste wise, there's nothing to judge on since they all should taste the same. What I like about applebees is their lunch specials, 2 for $20 deal, and half off apps. The chickencado (?) Was surprisingly good. The service here is pretty good too. The older lady is the nicest one there. She's extremely polite and friendly, which is something you rarely see at a chain restaurant. But the utensils and plates are dirty. My knife still had some left over food from before. Disgusting.

Lots of college/high school kids hang out here for 1/2 priced apps. I've been here several times and keep asking myself why I come back. It's not horrible but it's not good. Of all the big discount restaurant chains this is my least favorite. Everything tastes like it was frozen and not properly cooked. This particular location is very friendly and they always make you feel welcome.

The 2 for 1 drinks are kinda watered down but the apps are good. Definitely work it if you go here with friends but I cant imagine paying full price for anything here

We had a 15 dollar gift card so off we go. They have the 2 meals for $20 deal, My wife and I both order bacon cheese burgers. Everything is salt, salt salted. Nice waitress, I feel like my blood pressure shot up to 180/120.

HORRIBLE!! We ordered an appetizer and the waitress kept asking us if we were ready to order dinner. We didn't want everything coming out at once and wouldn't you know the second they put the app down our dinner came. The servers were literally pulling the appetizer out of my husband's hand because there was no room on the table. The food was awful - fries were NOT crispy and totally over salted. I will NEVER go there again. Waste of money and I would rather take our kids to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner

I had been looking forward to grabbing wings with friends after not going to an Applebees for quite some time and this was not the best experience. We ordered 2 for 1 drinks and I watched the bartender make my vodka cranberry with club soda or tonic and it was gross. My friends ordered 2 for 1 Bahama Mamas and according to our waitress Kim, "we put Sprite in our Bahama Mamas" which is weird because it wasn't Sprite. The drink was gross. We all sent our drinks back and then watched our waitress talk shit about us to the bartender..... We then received our food from a wonderful Manager who used to be a server apparently and was very personable and great.... after opening our napkins with silverware we had dried food or some unknown substance on a napkin/knife. Our waitress didn't come back and we had to flag her down just to get replacement silverware which just started the count of times that our server walked by without checking on us....... The total was 13 times.... We needed drink refills, didn't happen until trip 14... She seemed pissed off that I wanted another drink and it was not at all a pleasant experience.. We finally asked for our check and after receiving it, she didn't come back. Fortunately we were paying cash and we're able to leave it on the table for her, but when we walked out she didn't even acknowledge us---no Thank You, Bye, or Have a good night... Overall, this place is somewhere that my friends visit frequently and have had generally good experiences and food-- this was a very unfortunate experience that we hope isn't a common occurrence.

Average Applebees. Same as all the others. Actually, same as Houlihans, TGIF's, Bennigans, and all those kinds of places. Random vintage stuff hung on the wall, a bar in the middle...yada yada yada. I like it though. But seen one, seen them all. The end.

2fers (2 for 1 drinks) + half off appetizers after 10 pm = college kids dream. Definitely worth it to go for that, and their 2 for $20 meal deal is a pretty good deal. Gets realllllllly crowded at night, but definitely a good time. (Especially since I went to an Applebees in Queens & apparently TRISTATE Applebees have different promotions then LongIsland thus didnt have half off appetizers. WHAT? You guys are all from the same corporation, shut up man.)

not bad, I usually hate apple bees but this one was nice and the staff was really accommodating (i wasn't wearing a sweater and i was really cold so they sat me at a booth away from the air conditioning). The waiter was clearly new and he got my order wrong but he swiftly took care of it.. but he was also really slow and he was getting confused. The food was delicious though and they gave me my desert for free so yay to that.

Best deal in town for beers ($3 for 2 full pints, not the cheesy 12oz large looking mugs chillis gives out) However be prepared for normally crappy service, warm beers, and cold food. It has become better over the years, but it still sucks. Also be prepared to hang out with all highschoolers being loud and stupid ordering 1 $4 appetizer for their party of 15. They changed their nachos to higher quality cheese and ingredients as of jan 09 and guess what, it sucks now! I loved the artificial liquid cheese. My friend works there as a waitress and she said they got a lot of complaints about the new nachos. Overall if you are looking for a bargain place to eat late night, and do not mind waiting, gettting bad service and hanging out with highschoolers, this is your place. Gets 3 stars because there simply is nothing else around after 10 anyway. As far as the normal cuisine, well it is crap and I would never pay full price to go to applebees.

The place is usually packed out. Even if you ask your waitress not to bring out all the food at once, everything you order hits the table at the same time with little consideration or thought. Anyway, football seasons starting so I'm sure I'll be back soon with my lame friends because I'm useless, cheap and pathetic. . . and like to punish my digestive system. The food is disgusting and I always regret eating here @ 6am the next morning. Should've taken a cue from my man BD and stuck with the beers only. . .
