This is a solid place for a reliable meal. I had two specials -- the lobster bisque and the baby back ribs. Neither dish was better than OK, but both were totally fine. The best component of my dinner was the Captain Lawrence Pale Ale, which comes from the county's only micro-brewery, which is in Pleasantville. You can get the same beer in the Rye Grill and Bar, which I visited the following evening. I liked the latter restaurant better.

Good spot if you are looking to grab a drink and have a good meal in a casual, unpretentious atmosphere. Went with my wife on a Saturday night, had an Oktoberfest ale at the bar then got seated at a booth in the adjacent room for some dinner. My wife had a burger which she said was great. I was indecisive when ordering, torn between a steak or one of the specials. The waiter sent the chef out to the table and he asked me a few questions about my tastes and appetite, and suggested the steak. I was glad he did it hit the spot. Service was very good too I thought. We will go back.

Place sucks just witnessed the owner screaming cursing insulting a customer because his soup bowl was cracked. Must have been some sort if old tension between the two but it was embarrassing. Then the owner has the balls to charge us for our one beer what a joke hope this place crashes and burns

One of the few casual restaurants in Rye. I usually have the burger or fish and chips. The dining room does get rather loud because during regular dinning hours there are lots of families with kids and then at night the place can get crowded with the boisterous bar crowd. Since the High Street Road House and the Rye Bar and Grille closed this is the one remaining place that I enough for a casual meal.

In town on business and found this spot. Had dinner at the bar with three friends. One of the best burgers I have ever had! They make it on an English Muffin instead of a bun. Friendly bartender- they were not busy early on a Monday night- I was there from around 6pm to 8pm- they had the NBA playoff game on one TV and the NHL on the other. If you like burgers this place is worth a visit!

Very nantucket/martha's vineyard type. I felt like i need to be in a polo and tennis skirt and flip flops when i first walked in... all you need are oars on the walls... or maybe they had them but I missed that part haha. Very casual and just basic american food for not the best price... I'd much rather go to ruby's oyster house or rye bar and grill down the street rather than spend the money here. I got a sirloin steak sandwich that came with a salad on the plate and a teeny glass of french fries as a side. I just wasn't all that impressed but a friend wanted to grab a quick dinner so we went here. The booths aren't that great to sit in because they're two sided so whatever the person behind you is doing, you feel... I happened to have a little kid behind me who liked to tyr to rock the booth... oh the joy. In terms of service... it was decent. The waitress we started with wasn't all that great but the gent that took over was a bit more attentive. Overall it was a decent experience... nothing that I'd rave about. Just an average night.

Went for lunch last weekend with a girlfriend that lives in the area. Really enjoyed. The seating and decor had a rustic nautical theme. We ended up eating at the bar. The waitress/bartender was friendly and informative. She gave us many suggestions on what to order. We had a turkey club and a portobello salad. Both were very good. Even though I'm a little concerned about one of the other posts re the owner switching liquors, I would still love to go back for a beer and a nosh next time I'm in the area.

Very good choice for pub food. Great Cajun chicken sandwich. Also a good bar area on the left. Very friendly staff.

Clam chowder was watery. Calamari was good. Fish and chips were overcooked and the fish was thin and oily. Fries were good. Definitely not worth a 2nd trip

This is a large place, a little loud but good atmosphere nonetheless. The good is elevated pub fare. The burger and wings that I had we're delicious. The burger was cooked perfectly. The pizza was pretty good but the crust was definitely not thin. They have a good wine and beer selection and the service was quite attentive. Overall I'd say this isn't fine dining but a great place to take the family or to grab some pretty good food.

Cute little bar/restaurant - a nice alternative to Rye Grille. Came for lunch with coworkers on a beautiful afternoon and snagged the booth in the front of the restaurant with the window open right next us. Everyone's sandwiches looked great - I had the Balboa which was roast beef & swiss on garlic bread. Yes, garlic bread. It was as amazing as it sounds. Add a pickle, some perfectly creamy coleslaw, and crispy hot fries and it gets even better. Waiter was nice and gave us the perfect amount of service - checking in without being obtrusive. For about $15/ea it was a nice lunch. Would love to come back sometime after work for drinks!

    # Town Dock in Rye, NY Town Dock is exactly the place I want to go when I visit a small, suburban town like Rye, NY. A cozy bar room, where patrons popping in and out and having a little talk with the bartender and each other. We felt welcome there too, had a couple of drinks and a chat with other guests. For dinner we moved to the dining room, which has an old-fashioned vibe with narrow wooden booths. It was early in the evening, so we snatched the best table, next to the front window. The menu selection is small with lots of seafood and many dishes are Italian-inspired. We opted for baked clams a burger and a steak sandwich - all three were very good with the meat grilled to perfection. The prices are then downside: wines started around $40 and most dishes are more than $20. That's more what I expect from a down-to-earth bar/restaurant. But then maybe not: it's not unusual for places in New York City's periphery to be on the pricey side.

I have been coming here for about 8 years now. It is casual and the bar is nice. I usually get the New Eng clam chowder and their burger. It is expensive though.
