If you love greasy pizza, you'll love this place! It's greasy in a good way so don't get your panties in a bunch. First time trying them and I must say I'm impressed. I ordered through grubhub: medium (6 large slices) extra cheese pizza with pepperoni, baked well done. It was tasty and satisfying. Although delivery took 1.15 hrs, I'll def be ordering here again. And to think my bf wanted to order Papa John's. Whew! Glad I never listen to him when it comes to food. Hahaha :D

Be still my heart. I have finally found it. The perfect Alfredo in Brooklyn. Did I wait over an hour for my food to get delivered? Yes. BUT. It was so worth it. I requested ziti instead of fettuccini in the "special requests" section - those requests often do not get filled at other restaurants. Well, they did it. And put freshly chopped basil on top - what a nice surprise! I can't get over how delicious this was. My meal also came with four garlic knots - that wasn't mentioned online, and who doesn't love free bread?! The Caesar salad I got to meet the delivery minimum was not as rave-worthy. But still decent. If you love perfect Alfredo - think sauce, not runny and watery with too much garlic - Rocco pizza is for you. I've also heard amazing things about their pizza, so I will definitely be trying that too. Bravo!

This place is really good. I'm not big on pizza but whenever I have a craving I come running their way. The pizza arrives Hot and Fresh and I love the crust and ingredients. Some people may say it's above average but it's better than that, it's great and you can just taste it. Like most brooklynites, I'm a foodie and extremely picky. They make me happy.

  • Kirthan S.

I'm definitely a fan of Rocco. Better than average neighborhood pizzeria that always has a fresh tasting slice. Most places in the area seem to have day-old slices, this place is the exact opposite. The staff here genuinely care about answering any questions about their menu: consisting of more than pizza along with hearty pastas, salads, and GREAT garlic knots! Whether you go for a classic thin crust or a much thicker, fluffy crust, there really is no bad decision to make here. I'm a big fan of the variety and an even bigger fan of the quality.

Decent pizza and hot sandwiches. Their beef patties aren't too bad but do not order their salads or their pastas it's just not good! Stick to pizza or something hot that is like a sub or sandwich. They take forever to deliver especially on Friday and sat nights!! Also they often forget my drinks and prob at this point owe me like 5 snapples ugh

  • Jennifer B.

Ordered from Rocco's a few times and it's probably the best pizza in bed-study. Food is always hot and delivery is always fast. Definitely get the grandmas pizza.

    (5)
  • Anna K.

Word of advice, they should add some gluten free and more vegetarian options. The neighborhood is changing whether they like it or not. They are losing good business to delivery. The grandma's slice is the best. Delivery is always quick. They take cards. Con: The garlic knots are sometimes too oily There's a girl who works there named Asia, she's nice and will help you make a choice.

If I could give a half of a star I would, this place sucks,I ordered something from them and they called me and told me they didn't have a certain item, and that my money would be returned to me,and I said ok,this person went and canceled my whole order,I call and the woman that answered is gonna tell me I told her to forget the whole order which I so did not do,never again.

Man, talk about an unfriendly lot. I mean, I know where I am, I'm not exactly expecting a red carpet. But when the staff do little besides mumble and glare, it doesn't exactly give me the warm-n-fuzzies. I ordered two plain slices - kind of a crapshoot, since there weren't prices posted. ($2.25 for a plain slice, it turns out.) I was told I'd have to wait a bit since it was still in the oven, no problem, ok. It gave me a chance to sit and listen to the news - though I could have done that from outside, the TV was turned up so high. Anyway I get the pizza in a to-go box, though I'd planned on staying, so I sat down and ate out of that. It wasn't very appetizing-looking, but as far as taste, it was alright. Better than Mike's, not quite Milly's. Still, after reading some delivery horror stories and having a less-than-swell time in the restaurant, I probably won't be back.

  • Steve M.

Besides Not Rays Pizza is pizza spot right here! Is amazing. They honesty take pride in catering their customers. The pizza is thick & the dough is fluffy. The prices are kinda high. But for an upscale slice of pizza I wouldn't mind it at all.

  • Ben B.

Basic reliable Brooklyn pizza delivery? That's what I thought. They said 45 minutes. I waited over 90. It wasn't what I ordered. No red sauce? Will avoid.

  • Audrey-Ann T.

Ordered the large margarita, got delivered pretty fast since they're literally two blocks away. Decent Basil-cheese and Sauce proportions which is pretty important in a Margarita pizza. Crust wasn't toasted but it was still good pizza.

  • Joni T.

Just ordered from here yesterday... I got a regular large pie with pepperoni and it was pretty normal. However, we also got a grandma with sausage and mushrooms and it was amazing. The sausage is a sliced Italian sausage. It even came with basil, fresh garlic and Parmesan cheese. Great flavors and the crust was crunchy and delicious... I will be ordering from here again!

    (4)
  • Imat S.

the best in Brooklyn. I brought spaghetti with meat ballls --it came with a 1000 garlic knots--delicious

  • Victor R.

This is only for take out as I've never been inside this place. Take out delivery is always on time based on seamless expected delivery. We usually get pizza and wings for movie nights. It's always fresh and hot and done right. I've also ordered the chicken parm and pasta dishes. These are a little messy but huge portions that make me take happy food naps.

  • Luke B.

These guys fucking rule. I have been ordering from these guys regularly, but in this one case, they really stepped up. A small error was made. Whatever. Shit happens. Having worked in the service industry for years, trust me, shit happens. As I called to complain, the manager jumped on the phone, apologized, and offered me a free one next time. Called a few days later, and they did just that. Perfect. Fuck yeah.

  • Nicole M.

    Great pizza, great pasta!

  • Brandi T.

I order from here...a lot, always delivery. I'm a ninja turtle, I LOVE pizza! I generally get the mini pizza with one topping and buff wings. The pizza is usually great but sometimes they get lazy and it's doughy and the cheese doesn't cover the sauce, but not often enough to stop ordering. The buffalo wings aren't all that hot and they're sauceless so don't be like me and call and complain thinking you just got fried chicken. My one consistent complaint is that the blue cheese with the wings is inconsistent. I feel like sometimes they run out and use fat free which is...just fing nasty but whatever, it's pretty solid overall.

  • Pamela B.

Rocco is underestimated due to their hiccups --similar issues you'll find at other pizza joints, example, a once in a while delayed delivery. The Margarita pizza and Penne Vodka with Chicken are personal favorites! The philly cheese steak, not so much. Overall Rocco is a reliable pizza joint with good pasta and pizza at very reasonable prices. Not to forget to mention, the Zeppoles (when fresh) are pretty good too!

  • Vanessa M.

Terrible food and terrible service! They garbled my order and then made me pay for a $20 pizza I never received, insisting nobody was free to deliver it and then saying I was out of their delivery zone. I was only ordering at the insistence of a friend; I had already experienced terrible food here.

    (1)
  • Jenn H.

I can't comment on their delivery because I've never used it. I come in here often because it's my favorite regular, cheese slice in Bedstuy! It's a bit overpriced, but it's damn good. Friendly, fast service and always a place to sit.

    (4)
  • Lorenzo B.

Great food. Horrible service. Not only do they take forever to deliver, but when ordering through seamless they seem to always have technical difficulties.

    (1)
  • L O.

I would love to review this place but the pizza I ordered at 7:50 pm still isn't here. It's 9:51 pm! $2 delivery fee also. Unreal. If this pizza gets here cold I am seriously done.

    (1)
  • Paul B.

I order here way too often. They are very friendly and the food is what you would expect. Great place to get a pepperoni pizza. They are also excellent at delivery!

    (3)
  • Hannah S.

This pizza has been pretty hit or miss in my experience. But pizza is pizza and really, really, really hard to hate. The only thing that's truly disappointed me in their pizza was the fact they used canned mushrooms instead of fresh. Don't get me wrong, I love a mushroom no matter which way you turn it, but as far as pizza aesthetics and flavor, could have benefitted from fresh look and flavor. It's the little things, you know.

    (3)
  • Simone L.

My delivery standby in Bed-stuy. Great pizza & pepperoni rolls, RIDICULOUS delivery times. I wish I could give a 3.5, because despite their pizza being the best delivery (I wish Saraghina delivered :( ) waiting an hour for a large pizza is ridiculous. Oh well, they'll continue to have my business because it's them or Dominos, and the Dominos that delivers to my apartment is literally the worst.

    (4)
  • Kyla B.

This place is a 3 blocks from where I live but was cold when it arrived almost an hour and a half after I ordered it. I've had much better cold pizza but it has potential.

    (2)
  • M E.

I really love this place for delivery, and not only because they're one of the only decent options in the area. Delivery is usually not too long. I love the mini pizzas. Perfect for when I want to eat a whole pizza, but not feel like I ate a WHOLE pizza. And 4 zeppoles for a dollar?! Yes, please, every time.

    (5)
  • Kibra Y.

Rocco's wins for me for delivery in the neighborhood. First, you can order online this paying with a credit card. None of that cash only BS. Second, the Margharita is perfect. Third, the delivery people are always sweet and courteous.

    (5)
  • Karl S.

The pizza here is good. Nice setup, it has exactly what you would want in a pizza place. I had a slice of buffalo chicken pizza and a snapple and it was delicious. Not very much sitting space, though, so if it's busy at all you'll have to get it to go.

    (4)
  • I G.

Decent pizza. Not sure why a pizza place in the hood charges $3.50 for a slice that I could get for a buck in Manhattan.

    (3)
  • Julie W.

Totally decent pizza, fast delivery, good calzones. It's not amazing but it's better than any other slice in the neighborhood. My go to delivery spot here.

    (3)
  • Ric V.

If I could leave a 1/16 of a star I would. My pizza was 1 hour & 50 minutes late!!!! & they still try to charge me full price!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

    (1)
  • Cathy L.

I drive by here a lot so I decided to try. Anybody who says Rocco's has the best pizza in Bedstuy or even Brooklyn is extremely exaggerating or must have been super high when they ate. Clearly not the best but not bad either. It's OK. Spaghetti in meat sauce, WOW. Pasta was way over cooked and drowned in excessive amount of sauce. How much salt did they put in there??? Every bite was like a gulp of super salty tomato juice. Ordered through seamless on a Saturday afternoon. Delivery was on time and my order was correct. I was actually super happy about this since Bedstuy seems to have a lot of delivery issues, why is that??? It's a typical normal pizzeria. I think I'll order pizza time to time from here, but no pasta dishes.

    (3)
  • Rojé G.

At first glance the pizza here looks very appetizing but in this case looks were very deceiving. Had a plain slice and a grandma both of which were below average. The sauce and cheese both tasted bland. The extablishment looks fairly new, the place looks clean and the pies LOOK amazing but it's all just camouflage to hide how unappetizing the pizza is.

    (2)
  • Ellen G.

Unable to use seamless refused to take credit card over phone hung up on us twice. Ordered from the Rocco's near my house never had this trouble or such bad service no wonder three stars they shouldn't have any.

  • Steve C.

Here's the deal: Rocco Pizza is on my block. I live steps away from here, and I was worried when I moved in that this supremely convenient pizzeria would either be too lousy to go to (like Mike's on Myrtle) or just good enough that my Pizza Standards would drift downward. But you know what? Rocco makes a solid slice. They're really very good. The novelty slices are not so hot, but the plain slices are great. Would I take a train to get a slice here? No, that's crazy. But I sure am glad I live so close to it.

  • Jeremy P.

I generally think of this place as a solid New York slice. Nothing special, but nothing to complain about. I went there recently and got a slice of their grandma pizza, and when they told me the price I was a bit shocked. I don't know, maybe it's always been $2.50 for a slice of the grandma, and I always get cheese... Anyway, as soon as I walked out the door and took a bite, I was blown away. Not only was this the best slice of grandma I'd ever had, it might have been the best slice of pizza I've ever had. I know there's a lot of luck involved in a perfect slice. It depends when you came in, how long the pizza was sitting there, who was working that day...etc. still, any place that's capable of producing a masterwork like that slice deserves five stars. I gotta give it up for Rocco's!

  • Robert K.

I used to order from them all the time. Never again. I understand mistakes happen but when they do, you correct it and you correct it quickly. They screwed up my order and took the better part of an hour to replace the wrong soda even though I live only 5 blocks down the street. Congrats, you lost my 3 orders each week.

    (1)
  • Andr D.

The pizza was raw on top. I'm aware that vegetables can make a pizza soggier than one may like, but this pizza was another story. Biting into raw dought that still stretches when you pull it is not a pleasant experience.

  • Tiffanie L.

Waited half hour for my food. Which to me is good for it being Brooklyn. My food put a smile on my face. It was hot and cooked just right. My friend who ordered with me at the time also was happy with his food. Affordable prices for nice amount of food. I do recommend for pizza or beef patty.

  • Lorna F.

I'm not from here, just visiting from Cali. I ordered delivery from here and it came a bit late (45 min as opposed to the 30 min quoted time). I ordered a medium half cheese, half pepperoni with 6 hot wings, which they are supposedly famous for. All in all, the pizza was decent. It arrived hot and fresh. It wasn't the best pizza of my life or the NY pizza that people talk about, but it was okay. Wings were pretty good in whatever batter they prepare it in. All things considered, it was okay, but I probably would want to venture out for something worth my money.

  • Jenna S.

I 'm not sure if I would order from here again. I ordered food scheduled for delivery on GrubHub, and my order arrived incomplete. When I called back to ask them about a missing soda, they said they needed to wait for the specific delivery person that delivered my food to return before they could send it out. They told me this would be about 20 minutes. I called about about 25 minutes later, and they still had no update on this. I have now been waiting an extra hour for something that should have been included in my order in the first place. I understand that people make mistakes, but not doing anything to correct that mistake is a little ridiculous. I don't understand why they couldn't just send someone out with it, and why I had to call them 3 times to correct my order, which took over an hour to be redelivered. Overall, the pizza was ok. It was not the best I've had in the area, but I can't really complain. I would just be careful when ordering delivery.

3.5 stars - very good pizza, not sure if it's worth the hype, but definitely very solid.

    (3)
  • Nina N.

Best slice in Bed-Stuy. Forget Broadway Pizzeria, forget Due Fratelli. THIS! is the slice! What I like about this pie is everything is so balanced-- from the chewy dough, salty cheese, and slightly sweet sauce. A light coating of flour on the crust soaks up any excess oil that you'll find on a majority of NY slices. Ordered delivery. Arrived in 20 minutes, hot. Washed down with a 90-minute IPA and found yet another piece of heaven in 11216.

I live around the corner from Rocco's and I'm so happy for that. They're the best. Pepperoni roll is so good. Delivery is reasonable fast.

    (5)
  • Mary D.

Called at 9, then again at 10:40, we were told the foods on its way. No phone call no nothing. It's now 11:34 and no one has contacted us or is answering. Horrible customer service. Bad service. Disgusting.

    (1)
  • Morgen B.

The original Rocco's I believe, which is much better than the other locations. The pizza is pretty good and the service is decent as well. This is my go to pizza spot, and I'm glad I'm close enough to walk there.

  • Sarah G.

According to Wikipedia, Hawaiian pizza "is a type of pizza that always consists of a cheese and a tomato base with toppings of ham and pineapple". Well apparently that "always" doesn't apply to Rocco's pizza. After ordering a large pizza of which no one wanted to eat due to the complete lack of sauce (which i should add, was not even noted on the menu), we called and explained the predicament. They did not comply with our request for a new pie. They did however, send us a container of cold sauce. Two stars for the efforts of the delivery person. Zero for Rocco's pizza establishment.

  • Richard C.

The pizza here is actually pretty solid. Nothing spectacular but hardly anything to complain about. My main issue with Rocco Pizza comes from their inability to take an order over the phone. Twice in a two week period I phoned in a simple pick up order for a cheese pizza which they failed to account for. What's worse is that the women who takes the phone orders refused to acknowledge her mistake and instead claimed I must have called the wrong pizza restaurant. I showed her the correct number, the only pizza restaurant I have saved in my phone, and she still claimed to have never got the order. Really? I literally talked to you 15 minutes ago. If your stopping in for a couple of slices, it should be a safe bet. If you want to call in an order for pickup, don't expect them to actually take your order, or acknowledge what would have been an understandable mistake.

  • Mr. O.

I have seamless'd pizza from this place a couple times. Though the pizza sauce is a little sweet for my likes and overall it isn't amazing, it is not terrible and it satisfies the cravings for pizza and the need for food in the gut! They are really quick with delivery so that is a plus! Also their garlic knots were pretty damn good!

  • Fabian M.

I've never been to the physical location, but have ordered delivery from here about 5 or so times in the past few months. If I order from here, it means I'm looking for a solid NY-style oily, cheesy, (totally not) healthy pizza option. They've yet to fail on any of those counts. The downside is that the delivery has almost always come on the late end of their estimate for me, sometimes leaving me with lukewarm pizza. This wouldn't be so much of a problem if they weren't EXCEPTIONALLY late at least one of those times...like 35 minutes late. They compounded the lateness issue by then also substituting my soda order since they ran out of what I asked for...but without conferring with me regarding the replacement when this wasn't a simple Sierra Mist for Sprite substitution but Orange Soda for Sprite. While I love Orange Soda (I do, I do, I do-ooooooooo) the whole fiasco felt indicative of customer service issues. In addition, be careful when ordering their specialty slices because sometimes the toppings are more than the pizza is built to hold and things can get messy pretty quickly. With all the deals Pizza Hut, Papa John's, etc. have these days, Rocco is comparatively expensive. I'm not sure I would say that it's necessarily better either, but it is different and if you are in the mood for that NY pizza taste and you live in Crown Heights then this is as good as any place to order from. Also kind of annoying that they don't show their prices on Seamless (what's up with THAT?!) until you place the order in your "shopping cart."

  • Justin O.

Placed an order through delivery.com and I did not receive anything in an hour. I called to check on the status and was told that they were "late" in receiving the order and it was the next one to be sent out. 40 minutes later the food was still not delivered. Do not order delivery from this establishment!!

    (1)

The grandma pizza with spinach is amazing! I get it delivered once a week most often it arrives very hot and fresh from the oven.

  • Justin L.

Came here once awhile back with a friend who lived in the neighborhood. Its a good typical neighborhood pizzeria on the corner. The crust I remember being soggy due to too much sauce being put on, which itself was good but overspiced. It was a bit cheesy too, which ended up being a good thing. The people behind the counter were nice enough. Slice turnover was good because of the location. Definitely nothing to go out of your way for, but still great to see cheap edible pizza in this area.

    (2)
  • Remo F.

Pizza is very bland and tasteless. For the price and quality you are better off buying from Papa Johns. Nice staff though. I would not go back.

    (2)
  • Alexis G.

Mmmm tasty. I work in this neighborhood, and it's a dead zone as far as food goes. Rocco's is a pretty solid food option for lunch break. I haven't had their regular pizza, but after seeing my co-workers traipsing in with specialty slices like the honey mustard chicken and bacon slice and the barbeque chicken slice, I definitely had my reservations about the place. After trying a bite of the barbeque chicken slice, I knew I needed it. I don't even really like barbeque chicken, but whoa, this is good. They carry Stewart's sodas, which I am always happy about. Can't really beat a one slice lunch that's super filling for $2.50.

I don't even know where to begin but if I were the owner I would seriously re-evaluate who I have working for me. I've never ordered from here before this incident and I will NEVER order from here again. In an attempt to find a decent pizza delivery in my area I stumble upon Roccos, I called and placed an order for delivery. The guy that took my order was nice but difficult to understand. I placed my order and gave my address with cross streets, made sure they delivered since I'm in Clinton Hill. An hour later my pizza still had not arrived so I called to check the status. The person that answered the phone, Pia I believe her name was, said "we don't deliver to that street, you have the wrong place" and hung up the phone. So I checked to make sure that I had dialed the right number and called back. Because if they didn't deliver to my area why take the order or, if you took my order in error call me back to cancel it. Anyway, PIA answers the phone again and as I am trying to explain that there is clearly a mistake or miscommunication she starts screaming like a lunatic that I called the wrong place and they don't deliver here. I try explaining that I understand that's what she's saying but someone else took my order. She continues to scream and act totally unprofessionally to the point that I was disgusted. I asked for a manager and she told me she was that manager which I find very hard to believe. I was on the phone with a petulant child who can't even handle answering the phone at a pizza place. After a few minutes of arguing the man who took my order grabbed the phone from her and began apologizing profusely. He said my order was on its way and she made a mistake blah blah blah. My pizza did arrive about a minute after that, sort of cold and not worth the headache. Pizza places are a dime a dozen, don't waste your time with this place. Hopefully the owner sees this review and deals with this employee, she doesn't deserve to be working for you. I've worked in every type of restaurant and delivery place in my life and that is NOT how you deal with a costumer whether you're working at McDonald's or le cirque.

    (1)
  • Brandon D.

For this area, this is a good pizza shop. Not much around in the area to eat. But if you are driving through and hungry, get a slice or two! It's a fair slice for the price! There is a sitting area inside for about 20 people. The place is clean and air-conditioned.

    (3)
  • Jenni S.

Eh. It's totally passably good pizza, there is nothing wrong with it. But, if I'm paying $2 extra for delivery you should be five minutes early, not five minutes late, and if I order extra cheese, there should actually be extra cheese. As I said, it's totally fine, but I'll stick with Luigi's.

    (3)
  • Diana D.

This is my go-to pizzeria. Their delivery is ALWAYS on time. Food is great, especially their buffalo chicken pizza which looks like a chicken exploded on the pizza, that's how much chicken is on it. Not a piece of chicken in every bite, but a mouthful! Great price for great food.

    (5)
  • Julie M.

this place sucks. who cuts up the chicken in a chicken parm hero? hard ass bread, hardly any sauce, unwanted cheese on the fries. gross.

  • Mitch E.

Que paso Guido Rocco! Yum! I eat it there or on my stoop with da homies! Plain cheese is all that's needed to satisfy this baller on a budget! This Bed-Stuy stud is not lying.

  • Mitchell M.

I was charged nearly forty dollars for a single large pizza. And the delivery guy treated me like an asshole. Whatever, it was pretty good, so I order another time. This time same deal with the horrible service. The guy taking my order hangs up on me without saying goodbye or letting me finish my order. This reminds me, this hanging up without letting me finish happened the first time as well. Probably the same guy. When they get here they refuse to come inside and tell me to come out, then hang up. Later they call back and agree to come in. I ask them to fuck off. I won't order from here again. They're not what I am looking for from a restaurant.

Honestly some of the best pizza I have had in Brooklyn. Everything is large, fresh, and just tastes good!! The chicken rolls, eggplant parm, and mini pizzas are my favorites!! Their open late which in that neighborhood everything shuts down at around 9pm. The owner Tommy along with his brothers take serious pride in everything they do there and it shows... Hands down one of my fav pizza joints...I feel guilty sometimes eating elsewhere lol....

Rocco's Pizza in Bedstuy makes good Brooklyn style pie. Every time we go swimming at the K-pool my girls and I stop at Roccos for a nice hot slice. They also carry Louie G's ice which is amazing. Eating the pizza there at Roccos is always a better experience than take out but we also order delivery from Rocco's frequently (it is the only non-gourmet pie place we will order from in our area) and it's always good. You want a good tasting slice of pie this is the place to go! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I like fresh veggies (not from a can) on my pizza :)

  • Damian L.

Watch Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing" and head down to Roccos Pizza and have the best slice in New York. The sauce is authentic NY Italian, the dough tastes like Cavatil or a Gnocci, the Mozzerell[a] is classic New York Italian. The rapport that the owner Tommy has with the neighborhood is like Sal outta that Spike Lee Joint that slam-dunked the 80s into the 90s. There is no bad brother or nice brother, but another brother with another Pizzeria a couple of blocks up the avenue. I have at least a pizza a week delivered by them to the shop here on Willoughby. Fast delivery service and pizza's fresh outta the oven.

Not the best pizza in Brooklyn, but it's definitely the spot to go when you're broke and want to eat some cheap food with your friends. I'm big on ices and they always seem to have a few tasty ones in the freezer. You can make $5.00 go a long way at Rocco's.

In a neighborhood full of subpar Italian spots, this one stands a little above the rest. I guess since they're a pizza place, I should be ordering more pizza from them, but I've been getting the entrees instead. The "margarita" pizza is pretty good, not the best, but better than a plain slice for sure. It doesn't help that I got it at the end of the night. But to their credit they gave a good discount as result. Their sauces seem like they're all store bought with minimal doctoring up with the exception of the vodka sauce which might just be white and red mixed to make pink. The eggplant in the eggplant parm was mushy. The fettuccine alfredo is thick, almost goopy (even though I'm tempted to order it again) and the spaghetti is just about as generic as you can get. Their portions are very fair for the price. An entree coupled with order of garlic knots that they'll give you (normally 4 for a $1, and whether you dip them in any of their sauces they taste pretty good) will fill you up. Definitely my new default Italian spot in the hood, but not the one I'm gonna call up Mom and bring her to.

This place is fantastic. Not only is the food consistently excellent, delivery is fast and the only time they ever messed up our order, they went above and beyond to make up for it. Probably my favorite pizza place in NYC - will order from here again and again.

Rocco's Pizzeria wasn't.... the best, will definitely not go there again. Everything that was ordered seemed to be frozen, thawed, refrozen, and then unthawed in a microwave before getting packaged up. Cardboard like bread, old chewy chicken, rubbery burger, uncooked fries. You name it, pretty bad. Except for the garlic knots, although those were so thoroughly covered in garlic I had to scrape some off to make it edible.

I'll never order from them again. Called at 10:39 to order a pepperoni calzone for pick up, the "business owner" explained to me the ovens were off for the night and he only had what he had in the store. AS a faithful customer, and former store manager for more than one pizza shop of my own, that's just unprofessional. After asking what kind of business closes 20 minutes early, he told me not to question him, that's why he was a business owner and hung up on me. I'll never eat there again. Which is funny because when I walk past there, all the guys know me and wave to me.

The pizza is so good and fresh. It won't disappoint. If you want good pizza, this is the place to go-right out of the oven.

My favorite local pizzeria... right under my gf's apartment, basically. The service is great, the guys are funny, and the Grandma pizza is fantastic. The store takes credit cards which is awesome when you're out of cash (it even takes Discover..!).

I've ordered delivery from Rocco's numerous times, usually getting the personal pies...bbq chicken is awesome if youre in the mood, throw in a salad to cover the $10 delivery minimum ! Guy on the phone is always a cool mofo sweetalker, i've tried other delivery in the area Rocco's is the best ! Never tried most other things on the menu so don't have the most well rounded experience with them, but the mini pies - can't go wrong...

Given that there aren't a lot of delivery options in this neighborhood, it's a comfort to have Rocco's on the corner. Nothing astounding, just reliably good pizza. The Sicilian with sausage is a guilty pleasure. Their menu is permanently magneted on my fridge for a reason.

Rocco Pizza is among the top 2 best places that my roommates and I LOVE to order delivery from. We order from here at least a minimum of 10-15 a month :P What I love about Rocco's is that it is affordable without hindering the taste of the food. The fact that we get delivery from here (which delivery food in general tends to lack the greatness of what it COULD be eating at the actual place) and we still find it delicious, says a lot. You are safe with any of the pastas (my favorite is the fettuccine alfredo) and any of the calzones (HUGE for an average price of $6). The Philly Cheesesteak is among a favorite, as well. I have yet to try the pizza but I'm sure by the standards of what I have experienced so far, I would not be disappointed.

This is a solid neighborhood pizza joint. It has all the classics, a good selection of drinks - including Stewart's sodas - and fast delivery. The food is cheap, plentiful and good enough. The large pizzas are huge, but if you order a sandwich, make sure they toast the bread. Nothing is worse than an eggplant parm hero on mushy bread. And you can pay with your credit card here.

Damn good pizza. I've had many pies in Bedstuy/ Prospect Heights. This was the best

This is my neighborhood pizza place. We usually take out, or get delivery but on the rare occasions when we have eaten there it has been pleasant and the people friendly. The food is tasty and cheap. What more could you want?

Delivery was 45 minutes (estimated 30) and they forgot the soda, said they'd return with the soda but over an hour later it's still not here.

So since I'm not native to NYC my taste for pizza isn't always the same (for instance I'm not a fan of sliced sausage- crumbled is way better)... with that said I am still in search of a great pie- this one is OK- decent sauce and the crust is alright too. I think these guys are a bit pricey (considering Sarah James is round the corner and the food is much more reasonably priced). I will likely order from here again because 1. the guys are super nice (which has been hard to find in NYC workers) 2. the size of the pizza is great (enough to fill my 3 guy roomies and me) 3. they deliver 4. they take credit cards Although I recommend sticking to the cheese pizza

If you live within 10-15 blocks of this place and aren't ordering from here on a semi-regular basis, it's time to reevaluate what exactly it is you're doing with your life.

Good. As far as local by the slice shops go: as good as it gets. They have 4 or 5 booths for people to sit in. Jones Colas, and Pepsi fountain drinks. They do the standard NYC thing, you can get a burger, or pasta or whatever you like. But if you ask me? Just go for the pizza. Fresh ingredients freshly prepared dough... what more could you ask for. The guys that work there are nice and they deliver... ALSO, it's one of the few spots in this neighborhood that accepts credit cards (Visa 10 buck minimum). I live next to Mike's Pizza, but once I found this place I walk the 4 blocks past it to get my pizza at Rocco's.

Pretty impressed with this pizza. Definitely among the best in the neighborhood. It's thin crust. The sauce is tasty and the cheese is the perfect amount. It's nice that they deliver.

I got a grilled chicken pizza from here, the chicken, sauce, and cheese were fine but the crusts tastes like cardboard. Deal breaker, I won't order from here again.

I think it's one of the best around. Thick crust, fresh cheese and good sauce

definitely THAT pizza joint from spike's "DO THE RIGHT THING" - good decent pies made by real iTALians right in the midst of the HOOD. they even got a black delivery kid just like moooks n' all... once we dined in and the evening was winding down and the owner or manager dimmed all the lights except our table. such a lady and the tramp moment with the spagetti n meatballs in the alley. my only gripe with delivery is that they take a while even though I'm right around the corner and like many other pizza joints when you order mushrooms on your pie they're those nasty canned yellow ones. but whateves- i'll just avoid the shrooms - much love ROCCO.

This is a great local pizza spot to pick up tasty and cheap slices. I eat here frequently. The staff is very friendly. My favorite is the Grandma recipe. Their pasta dishes are adequate, but not awesome. I don't hold that against them though because who orders dishes like lasagna at a pizza shop anyways. They do, however, have very delicious garlic knots. Sometimes I go there just to get garlic knots for my own home cooked Italian meals. Oh yeah, they also have delicious Italian ices.

The pizza wasn't bad. The dough was a bit thick but they did load the toppings on. The buffalo wings were more like fried chicken wings without the buffalo sauce but I have to admit were still tasty.

Rocco's kicks ass. One of the only pizzaria's in the hood that delivers and that has a large menu to choose from. Delivery can be a bit slow sometimes, especially in the summer, but usally within 45min or less. Their large pie is huge and their sicilian is really delish!

Great neighborhood pizza joint. Friendly and reasonable. Longer than usual delivery time. Good extensive menu. My favorite 'slice' of pizza joint.
