I love the Giant Pee Dee burger. On the money. Baked potato with chz is yummy with toasted bread. The steaks are good too but I am more a fan of the Burger

Great spot for affordable meals and the food is finger licking good. Staff seems very energetic and happy to be around each other. I'm sure the boss which seems to be by the register is a good guy to work with.

I have ordered take out from them several times... I don't care much for their steak and don't even waste your money on their dessert or nasty cole slaw. Other then that...their food is usually good. I usually get their half chicken with rice or baked potato which is always good. Only one time I wasn't satisfied with their food because the chicken didn't taste good. :(

I have eaten here couple of times. I definitely would not put this in the category of a true steakhouse. The food is average or slightly above at best.

I can't believe I overlooked writing a review for this place! I have been bringing friends, coworkers, and even strangers into Pee Dee's for three years now, and though I had to cut back on the large portions (trying to watch my figure is what I tell the folk) every month or so I find myself in desperate need of a nice juicy steak or burger, with a baked potato, and some coleslaw. Throw in a beer in the summertime (after work of course) and Pee Dee's becomes a safe haven for good eats, fun conversation, and the occasional Asian lady selling me a bootleg movie. Love it! If you enjoy fresh, grilled meats for cheap, do yourself a favor and make the right on 110th and 3rd Ave, past the fish market, and head to the front of the line!

Every time i call it takes like 15 minutes to get them pick up the phone , then this spanish guy says "Hold on one second" and keeps you on the line for 5-10 mins then just forgets about the call. This really makes me stop calling them and find another place. CUSTOMER SERVICE 0 !!! The owners should really consider replacing the guy taking phone orders. Dont waste your time, call other place for better service. ALso their steaks are DRY and Tasteless and their broiled chicken is ALWAYS BURNED and tastes like CHIPS. Will never order again !!!

This place rocks. It's owned by a Korean family and serves great soul food. You can get a stroke-inducing combo (they actually do serve these) like T-bone steak + shrimps + crab legs + quarter BBQ chicken + tuba mashed + mac'n'cheese + collard greens (for health, you know), or try to survive and order chicken teryaki + collard greens and a diet coke and walk out of there full and happy, and only about $ 12 lighter.

Great value, great food! They are known for their ribs, no surprise! My first time eating at Pee Dee's was great- the service was quick, food was delicious and you get a lot for your money! I can see why it's so popular in the neighborhood, given we all can't hit up 5-star steak houses everyday, this place fills that need for good steak, bbq, anything you could want as a carnivore at a great price. And as many of my past reviews would indicate- I'm a sides girl all the way! Anyplace with good sides is for me! They have it all, mac'n cheese, crab, corn on the cob, loaded mash potatoes, fries, jumbo onion rings, collard greens, and the list goes on and on. And a side note- if the Clinton's (especially Bill) likes this place, you know it's good BBQ, c'mon, Billy boy knows his stuff! They've been known to order their election staff tons of food during election season as their offices are near by! For fast and convenient BBQ- this is ideal for anyone!

Decent steak at a good price. When I don't want to overspend I come here. Next time I will venture past steak and try other things on the menu.

I frequent this joint a lot. It' s cheap, they give HUGE portions and the staff already know what I want when I get there. I opt for the grilled quarter chicken breast with a baked potato and cole slaw for $6.99. This is a steal. Not only because I can break it up into two meals, but because it's actually quite tasty and made to order. Love it. And I'll keep going back. Sure does beat the disparity of fried chicken and pizza joints in the hood. At least I know where I can get some good grilled chicken.

So apparently I have been spending a lot of time in El Barrio. Well, here is another popular restaurant in the area offering up American comfort food at low prices for the masses. I opted for a half BBQ chicken which I took with baked potato, cole slaw, and garlic bread. The sides were regrettable in their own unique ways. The "liquid butter" on the potato just made it too salty and made me wonder what the hell liquid butter is. The garlic bread was not grilled, and was splotchy in appearance -- I didn't like it. The chicken was prepared to order though, and I did like that. The BBQ sauce was simple and traditional, but it married well with the meat. My selection of dark meat was moist and tender, and I enjoyed it. For $6.99, the portions are incredibly large, so it is definitely a bargain. By carefully selecting your food here, I think you can consistently have a 3 star experience.

This steak house has a decent lunch special. It is quite a throwback...its like tads and others...there was a time when these fast food type steak houses were urban destinations...as kids we loved to go there... you go in and initially pick what steak you want and its grilled in front of you....then you pick sides...they will give you a baked potato and scoop liquid butter up in it...its cafeteria like, so you have a tray and a fork and cup and you keep going down, grabbing what you want...Then you get to the cashier and you get rung up...The food is pretty decent...often I felt the steak was kinda fatty...but some people love that sort of thing...

When I want a good cheap lunch I come here! The lunch special is $7.99 Monday - Friday 11am - 3pm. You get a Sirloin Steak 8oz with a baked potato or rice, salad or cole slaw and garlic bread.. I always get the baked potato with melted cheese, salad and the garlic bread...oh and don't forget the gravy for the steak.... Its not gourmet but it will fill you up, and leave you satisfied.

I rate Pee Dee's a solid three stars. Now I must qualify my three stars by saying I frequent this three star place more often than most places I rate 4 and above. It's probably because their bbq chicken is consistently moist w/crispy bits I love on the outside. Portions are huge so come with an appetite.

huge portions, the mac and cheese is average but you get alot of it, the collard greens are good as was the grilled chicken, very inexpensive and worth every penny
