After a long Manhattan day, I was happy to find a super affordable pizza place that was vegetarian/vegan and near my crash spot. They did a solid job melting the Daiya cheese and I was stoked to have such a variety to choose from. Now I can have NYC pizza all the time.

Got pizza delivered. It's your average, foldable slice. Not great but gets the job done.

Finding a decent pizza in New York is anything but easy. No I' m not being supponent, I'm italian, and really demanding when talking about pizza. I walked by Norbert's many times, and finally gave him a try a night when I was starving, my fridge was empty and wanted to get home as fast as possibile with dinner. I ordered just one slice of regular, for two very honest dollars. While waiting the very welcoming and smiling guy to warm my slice, I noticed that they have an atm. Wait, is out of order. They have soda dispenser. It's out of order too. The place is small and right under the tracks of the J M Z trains subway, really New York style. I walked home with my slice, that was a little greasy but damn unexpectedly good, better than the average of american pizza in the city. Maybe because I was starving, but I don't think so. When then I had a yogurth because still hungry I regretted not having bought at least three slices. Next time. #buona#happy##

It is very delicious the first one we had. We decided to go there a second time during our same trip at another time in the day. And sorry to say that this time it was a disappointment. Which means that there is no consistency. It was so bad it is such a turn off that I don't think we'll go back

Come with no judgements. This is a tiny hole in the wall spot serves some decent pizza to the after hours crowd as well as a slew of musicians heading to work. They generally have a limited selection of classic cheese, white, grand-ma (a MUST) and also garlic knots on display. It's my option over Popeye's and when the Mexican food truck isn't on location across the street.

Pizza is above average, the staff is sweet and delivery was fast. I ordered a grandma pie with pepperoni to find out my pepperoni was FAKE! I wish someone had mentioned when I ordered that it was a non-meat establishment. Not a big deal I will still order again the pizza is great.

Literally the best pizza in the universe. And this is only my second visit to this planet

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS PLCE OR THE DELIVERY GUY WILL ROB YOU! Just left my place w a $20 bill (order was $15) and they didn't even get the order right OR everything that I ordered in the first place. They guy literally took my money and ran away! Don't be fooled. Go to Archie's! They have vegan options also!

It's a hole in the wall type place where you probably won't find much glory. It's your basic 'this isn't dominos/papa johns' type pizza place run by a group of hipsters. The selection isn't great but hey it's 'express'. It's really nice to see a vegetarian/vegan pizza place where the slices don't make you feel like you've gained 30 pounds by eating it. I'm pretty sure by Norbert's Express they just mean mini-Norbert's, but hey potato po-tater tots, as they say. It's convenient because it's right by the JMZ and my place. The people there are chill, not super friendly but I'm not looking to make friends when I'm buying pizza (and not that I'm telling you how to live your life, but you shouldn't be either). It's also mad cheap, and I hear it's alright for breakfast, if you know what I mean ;) My roommates and I used to get it and eat it on the roof. Good times...good times.

I've lived in the area for years and was happy to have a pizza place nearby! The space used to be a beauty salon when I first moved here 7 years ago. My first Norbert's experience wasn't so great. It was late in the AM after a bar night so technically I should have thought anything I ate was amazing- but the slice was a bit flavorless, doughy and mehh. Gave it a second chance a few months later for breakfast pizza bagels and slices for brunch. Again very blah and overdone chewy bagels. Given the options around here this is still better than deli food, and it's good to have a cute painted awning to kook at. Just hope the food quality improves for the price of a slice or whole pizza, and we would happily order more!

The coffee at Norbert's is the best value you'll get in the area. Smalls are $1.50 and they're as good as "serious" coffee at more expensive places. I mainly come in here for breakfast so can't comment too much on the pizza, but the bagels are great, as are the sandwich combos that they come up with, such as "The Bleek" with spinach, olive oil, salt, pepper, and cream cheese. Pizzas are above average. I'd definitely recommend ordering a whole pie. The pizzas out on the trays are interesting, but they seem to reserve their most interesting combos (like 'vegan Hawaiian') for the whole pies. If you're the kind of asshole who gets pissed when the lone storerunner opens the store ten minutes late, you won't like the atmosphere. But if you're the kind of person who likes seeing that the lone storerunner isn't stressing out too much and is being kind while getting your order right, you'll be comforted by the atmosphere at this place. It has a cool, colorfully painted storefront, too. So if you're high and looking for munchies, they've got you covered on all fronts.

According to yelp this place is supposed to be open until midnight. According to Norbert's Facebook page they're open til 11pm. Showed up at 10:30 and the lights were on, a bunch of employees standing behind the counter. When I tried to open the door it was locked and they waved me away. Guess they decided to close early for the night? Super disappointing and kind of rude! I'm a vegan and wanted to support this place because of their vegan pizza!

Small place but I prefer this pizza shop over the few pizza shops in the area. I love the crust and taste.

Norbert's Express is a very solid pizza place. They are vegetarian and there are vegan options but that doesn't stop me from loving it. Try a grandma or a white slice! It's cheap, quick and the staff is friendly.

Pizza is very good. Staff is not friendly and always have a bad face a if we're begging them free food. Besides the staff the pizza is good ad different from the other pizza store. Love the vodka slices.

Moved to the area a few months ago and have gone to this place a few times when I've gotten off work or need a bite to eat. Love their pizza and their staff! The two people I see consistently are very nice and always play kick ass music (lately I've heard Tom Waits and Pixies). The food hear is great too, and very reasonably priced. It's not the best slice you'll ever have, or even a true NY slice (not that it's designed to be), but it sure is solid and a lot better than the garbage people try to sell you around here. Plus, every time I go in there, there's always a little something new. It seems like whoever cooks genuinely has fun trying to make new things. My only complaint is that, by the time I get home with it, 3 blocks away, my pizza is already cold. I feel like they gotta keep their ovens a little hotter or the pizza in there a little longer.

Best to go pizza in Bedstuy. They may need to keep a little more consistent on inventory, but it's a small business, let's give them some slack.

Solid $2.00 slices. I had the grandma slice, which was great. They have vegan options too, which must be nice if you are so inclined. Haven't been to the original Norbert's location on Myrtle (although I've walked by a few times) but this new outpost is super close to the Myrtle/Broadway JMZ.

This place is literally my pizza heaven. I am officially hooked. The margarita slice was one of the best pizzas i've ever had. So thank you norberts. And just 2 blocks away from my apartment. :)!!

The service is 5 stars but 3 stars for the pizza because consistency is not their thing.. ~ it really depends on who is in there making it that day...I don't care what anyone says, all NY pizza is NOT created equal...but, that being said, I *do* go here all the time for a slice, because it is right around the corner from me which is also another reason I'll arbitrarily knock it up a couple points b/c for the price and the great service and the proximity to me makes it worth having to wonder if every slice will be as good as the last. I always just get the regular slice so I can't speak to the other options available. But I recently tried their cinnamon rolls and they are sinfully sweet but eat them right away as they do not keep at all, not even reheating them in the tried and trusted toaster oven can make them good again, which made me sad recently so now you're warned! The vibe in there is really chill. There's usually some really great music playing. The people who work there get to pick the music and it's always quite wonderful, they have good taste in music, and like I said the staff is super swell, so make sure to tip them when you can.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
