I had a chicken and sausage special. The chicken was perfectly cooked,so tender! The service was concerned and attentive. The wine list could use a few more selections by the glass but was decent. My only quibble was this restaurant and about a million others can't figure out you shouldn't nuke bread puddings it makes them rubbery.Make it a little too wet if you're going to heat it.I prefer you leave it room temp and moist though. But all the flavours were spot on.

I went to dinner tonight (Friday) @ 5:30pm. Ordered penne a la vodka with grilled chicken on the side. Pasta was excellent and hot! Chicken would've been better if it was hot but Maryann apologized and offered to heat it up. I declined. I was starving. Service was second to none. Salads were fresh and delish. I used a Groupon, which she happily took. I would definitely return and recommend without hesitation.

I went there today with my boyfriend because his mom recommended it to us. So we decided to try it and went in and ordered take out. The salad I had was one of the best salads I have ever had. It was the toasted walnut and goat cheese salad with chicken. (I got balsamic vinegarette as a lighter dressing option). But the garlic dressing was excellent. My boyfriends fries he got with his buff chicken wrap were also very good, but I did not try his wrap because I do not like blue cheese. The hostess was very nice and the place is nicely set up. We will be coming back for dinner soon.

Amazing food and ridiculously reasonable prices. I've paid more than double for my favorite dish "frutti di mare" elsewhere and mulberry street's version is far superior in quantity and quality. The dining room is beautifully decorated and staff is always pleasant.

I went here on Feb 1, first time since they opened as mulberry street. Started with a coconut mojito, amazing! I ordered a menu item called penne ala vodka with chicken and shrimp. My boyfriend ordered chicken mulberry. When our dishes came out I received rigatoni ala vodka. No chicken. No shrimp. Flagged down the waiter and he told me he didn't hear me order it with chicken and shrimp. But it was on the menu that way? Then I was told how the computer makes u add it in and he didn't remember to put it in. Told me I could have it remade but it would be a wait of an unallocated amount of time. At this point my boyfriend was already eating his, so I just sucked it up and ate it like that. It was ok, I've definitely had better. I tried my boyfriends it tasted a little bland to me but he said it was good. I took my leftovers home but didn't end up eating them. The waiter was super nice and gave us great service. He also gave us dessert on the house for the mess up. Hence why I gave them 3 stars. But I doubt I'll be rushing back anytime soon.

Eh, it was alright. Good bread basket, no Italian pinot grigio by the glass. Cesear salad was ok, fried zuchini burnt. Kids had chicken fingers which appeared frozen and like the zuch sticks overcooked. Hubby had a mound of lasagna which he liked. I had seafood in what was supposed to be a pink sauce but was was overcooked angel hair pasta (despite ordering al dente) in a broth. 2 pieces of shrimp and lots of sand on the mussels/clams. I think we will stick with Phils or Umbertos for a quick local fix.

Not as good as it was when it was Buteras. The hostess was also fighting with someone from the kitchen about a family issue by the podium when we were waiting for our table. Very awkward. The only thing that saved our visit was that the chicken parm was delicious.

My experience with our family at Mulberry Street was Fantastic. Every dish my family ordered was perfect. Even the kids loved every bit of it. Topped it off with there delicious Homemade GELATO. It felt like we were back on our annual August trip to Italy enjoying that Amazing Gelato.

Second time we ate at this resturant, the 1st time we had chicken dishes and salads which were excellent. The 2nd time we went the resturant was 2/3 full but there was no parking in their lot and they had no valet parking, we had to park in the Taco Bell next door which was not a good thing. 3 of us had fish entrees which were all over $30.00 with a choice of soup or salad first, the salad was OK but the soup was mushroom barley which you would have never been able to guess by taste. Nothing was wrong with the fish except it was tasteless, 3rd person had veal also not memorable. The bread was good, and the service was great, just the chef needs to upgrade his skills and recipes. Although the presentation was skillful, that is only OK if you're taking a picture not eating it.

I would never return....I have eaten at hundreds of restaurants and I must say this stands out as one of the worst. Food completely dried out and tasteless and the prices are OUTRAGEOUS for what you get. Went last night with my girlfriend for a quick drink and dinner...first time there. We ordered the eggplant stack to split as I had been wanted to try it as I love eggplant. When it arrived it had one line of balsamic across the top, some barely red tomatoes and the most dried out eggplant I have ever had. Oh well, maybe just a bad choice, let's move onto the main. I had shrimp parmigiana over linguini and my friend ordered shrimp risotto. Both dinners came with a garden salad. Here we go..this is an easy order, how could you mess this up......salad = awful???it was the ends of the salad leaf and I do mean a bunch of cores with1 cherry tomato and a massive amount of large sliced red onion..terrible, picked thru it. Now dinner arrives and my friend asks me if I ordered spaghetti and meatballs? No that is the shrimp wrapped in basil leaves. 7shrimp, nice sized portion but everyone is overcooked. Her shrimp risotto had 3, yes only 3 shrimp in it. The price for all of this plus 2 glasses on wine...$92.10 We ate none of the food, just let the busboy clear the table. The waitress finally resurfaces and says would you like to order dessert. We told her that both our meals were unacceptable and we had eaten none of it. She then says..so you are ready for your check? No offer or concern...nothing. She brings the bill, I give her a$10 off coupon they sent me with an ad and she says no good on the weekend.we paid and on the way out both she and the man, I think he was the manager turned their head when we were leaving..disgraceful! I will never return and I will make sure to tell everyone I know how awful it is.....there are plenty of local restaurants to give my business to with great food and better service.

Terrible service on a Wednesday night when they were not even busy.. Food was mediocre at best... Sorely disappointed since I was happy with the variety on the menu... Definitely not worth the prices! Doubt I will be returning to this establishment since I couldn't leave the bathroom all day the following day.. Probably some type of food poisoning... Didn't help that I watched the kitchen staff smoking in the back either.. I hope they washed their hands..Or did they? No good!

Upon arrival, we were told that even though we had a reservation, they were running 15 minutes late. When we finally were seated, there were many empty tables so we didn't understand the wait. After being seated, it took about 15 minutes for a waiter to appear and take a drink order. We saw that since service was slow, we would give our dinner order at the same time. The soft drinks were promptly delivered, but the martini was not delivered until my husband complained. Salads (which are included with the main course) were delivered before the appetizers. When they finally arrived, the baked clams were mostly bread...same with stuffed mushrooms. Main courses delivered....two were completely wrong and had to be remade, the shrimp scampi was overcooked and the shrimp marinara was totally tasteless. I cannot rate desserts because the table behind us were so loud throughout dinner that we just wanted to leave. My husband told the manager when we were leaving that if that had been a table of 18 year olds, they would have been thrown out but because they were rowdy adults, they were allowed to stay...and the manager said that's right. NEVER again and if you are smart, there are enough Italian restaurants on LI to avoid this one!

Been here a few times. We think the food is very good. Most recently had the Rigitone Mulberry, which was delicious. A nice peasant dish, as I like to say. The waitstaff is very attentive, but not overbearing. When I thanked our waiter, it was nice to hear him respond with "You're welcome", instead of saying "No problem". It's a little thing, but it shows some class.

I really wanted to like this place; it had a lot of promise. A bright, cozy atmosphere. Attentive, if sometimes overbearing service though; they practically took the fork out of your hand while you were still eating to clear the table. The food was boring bordering bland and tasted as though they didn't salt anything. All five of us at the table salted our food to compensate. I had to send my pasta back because it was overcooked to the point of disintegrating off my fork, but the server was very nice and accommodating with my complaint. In fact, our waitress was the best part of the dinner, besides the crab-stuffed mushrooms, which were piled high with buttery crab filling and delicious. The zucchini sticks had a really tasty red sauce too. Big portions and reasonable prices help the review, but not by much.

Stopped in on a Wednesday with a Groupon. What a deal and great food! Would definitely go again, especially on Wine Wednesday. Waitress was right on top of things and very prompt and friendly.

Visited on a Thursday which is fish night. For 21.00 we had a house salad, I ordered salmon with spinach and fettuccine in a cream sauce. Large piece of salmon and generous portion of spinach and fettuccine . It also came with dessert and my choice was cheesecake and it was a good size portion and delicious . Will definitely return .

First off I used the groupon for take out. The bill came out to $28, under the $30 promotion I purchased. I was told I owe $32. I said how can that be when over the phone they said it'd be $28. Then I was told I can't use the groupon unless I get to $30, which isn't written anywhere in the fine print. So I said I'd buy a soda. Again I was told I owe $32. I said how much is a soda, $4? The girls in the front were doing their best, not their fault. They called "Chris" in the back who tried to guide them. Finally they said I owe $0.20 cents. Mind you the original bill was $28, I presumably bought a soda, which I didn't receive nor was I ever offered. Food was good, nothing great, pizza had way too much oregano. I was in the restaurant business for 10 years, I know a thing or 2 about how things should be done. There's a reason this place gives out groupons and has 5 or 6 tables sitting there at 5pm on a Sunday. Needless to say I'll never be back. Tried this place 2 times, I wasn't impressed either time. I'll spend my money somewhere else from now on.

Came here for pasta night. Service was extremely slow, dinner was cold once it finally came out and we were not offered the dessert and coffee that comes with the meal. I have been to the mulberry street in Babylon and had a great experience, but this was just not up to par. Extremely disappointed, and I will definitely not go back to this location.

I went with my boyfriend last night after we found a Groupon. Honestly, I feel like writing this review in random order...kind of like how our dinner was served. When we first walked in, there were a number of tables that hadn't even been cleared from the previous diners who sat there. Bread and water came after our garden salad with the stale croutons. Our drinks came when our waitress finally remembered. Appetizer was luke warm, at best, and very mediocre! We were becoming a little apprehensive about what our entrees would be like. He ordered the chicken bruschetta- he said it was good. But the pasta that accompanied it, what was supposed to be marinara, reminded me of GoodFellas...'egg noodles and ketchup'. I ordered the chicken Napolitano, it was good. The pasta that came with it, though, had no flavor and needed salt. Service was soooo slow and they weren't even busy- our entrees were even brought to the wrong table before we got them. We took our dessert to go because we didn't want to remain there much longer. Everything we ordered was followed by "oh, that's delicious" by our waitress...sweetie, have you tasted the food? I didn't bother tasting the dessert, by the time we got home I was done! But I hear it wasn't that great either. Sorry, they're going to have to make some major improvements, in many areas, before we go back.
