I had pizza someone had taken out form here and I was impressed. Good crust, flavorful sauce, plenty of cheese and generous amounts of toppings. Definitely a step up from the $1/slice varieties!

I have ordered seemless from here multiple times. I love the chicken fingers with buffalo sauce on the side. They usually do not take more than twenty minutes.

What to say about a place that makes an Italian sub -- ham and cheese on an American breadish roll -- that makes Subway look like a salumeria -- and then attempts to overcharge? The pizza looks OK, but even though these guys are around the corner from me, I'm not going back.

Great pizza from thin, original to deep dish. However, the deep dish takes quite a while (50 minutes to an hour) for baking.

This is my favorite neighborhood Italian take-out on the Upper West Side. Delicious basic Italian food at good prices. Nothing out of the ordinary, but great for take-out.

Best pizza on the Upper Westside (below 100th Street)

Clean and somwhat good. A bit overgenerous on their mozz but margaritia pizza is decent. Best in the 90 to 100 block range that delivers.

Hoagies are delicious. Meatball or Italian Sausage you can't go wrong. If you need a special order no problem. We are from out of town and they were very welcoming. We will be back!

I'm upping this place by a star. I don't think I was fair last time. The pizza still isn't anything to write home about, but it's fine. I also think when I first reviewed it I was new to the city and just hadn't really gotten a handle on how expensive pizza is around here. So really I think their prices are about average.

I ordered delivery and it was actually really good! I was surprised since I saw a lot of negative reviews but I guess I had good luck. Pizza was hot and cheesy and very tasty!

After a long drive into the city, it was late, and we were starving after avoiding eating rest stops. The only place that was close and open around 11pm was Daniello's Pizza. I got a slice of cheese, and it did the trick to curb my late night hunger. It wasn't the best pizza I have ever had, but hey, beggars can't be choosers.

I live a few blocks away and had stopped ordering from Daniello's Pizzeria because it was a soso pie that always arrived with the cheese and toppings all over the box. I saw a under new management sign in the window and decided to give it another shot. Same problem, picture included . It does not seem like management pays attention to their yelp but if they read this I would suggest using A pizza saver, box tent, pizza table, pizza tripod or package saver on all delivery orders. I wont order delivery again

Getting a regular slice there when needed is quick and convenient. That's about it. As mentioned in other reviews, skip the garlic knots. Ordering a pie always disappoints me- the slices just droop and fall apart completely. It's never a crisp, sturdy slice, and always tastes like they use too much dried oregano. Also the staff never makes me feel comfortable or welcome-- always a strange tension for some reason. When I was a kid, this place did a lot better. It used to have a warm, neighborhoody pizzeria feel. Now it's just dingy and sub par.

I am a fan of their Italian entrees. We never cared for their pizza and subs, but I am going back a long time re: pizza and subs, so maybe different now. The entrees are excellent! The chicken dishes, the eggplant parmigiana, the penne and broccoli ( and chicken) in olive oil and garlic. The linguine and clam sauce , white clam sauce, can vary, but that's restaurants for you. We have never had a complaint about their chicken entrees, I rarely order veal from relatively inexpensive restaurants because it could be chewy and leathery, but that's just from some bad experiences. The delivery is swift, the platters huge, the garlic knots good, I believe in sticking with what you know from a restaurant, especially on the Upper West Side for some reason. Can't explain why, but experimentation has produced some bad results from various UWS restaurants c I would highly recommend their entrees and their pastas. I cannot comment on the pizza or subs because they were terrible, maybe 10-15 years ago, may have improved. Big portions! Just be sure you double check your order after you give it, by phone, always a good idea.

Sicilain Pizza Afficionados, THIS IS IT! Have you ever ordered delivery on a sicilian pie? I bet not. Most places don't deliver sicilan pizza. Not sure why. The box is already well shaped for the job. No matter. If you haven't had a sicilian pie from Daniello, it's not too late. My favorite is the meatball and sausage pie. It comes with heaps of real gooey hot cheese, not that melted plastic cheese food that so many other places pass off as cow made. This is the real deal.

The pizza is premade! I called for delivery and asked for slices without cheese, and they said no, all slices and pies have cheese. Bummers! One thing I did try from this restaurant was their garlic knots. It wasn't anywhere near good and I only received four when I was suppose to receive six. The garlic knots were soft, and something about the inside texture didn't lighten my taste buds. My coworker tried the pepperoni slice, and wasn't a fan of it at all.

Meh. That's all you get Daniello. The pizza's alright. The garlic knots. Not garlic knots. They're more like day-old rolls that have been under the lights too long. And although you get garlic with, they don't have the essence of real garlic knots. The place is spaced out weirdly too. Not very conducive to hanging out. It feels a little dirty in there too. Oh, and no soda fountain. What gives? To fix all of the above, go to Famiglia's 1 ave over. Great pizza. Awesome garlic knots. Great seating. Soda fountain. Check.

I've never eaten in the actual restaurant so I can only comment on my delivery service. The actual delivery time was really, REALLY long. I began to wonder if my order had somehow been lost. When I called they said "it was on the way". Extremely helpful. When my food arrived almost an hour later I was starving, but was pretty disappointed with my meal. The penne alla vodka was substandard and the garlic knots were pretty gross. It was the first and last time I ordered from Daniello's.

About as good as Pizza's gonna get on the UWS. I might be a bit biased to going to famiglias since Daniello's is much closer to my house but the pizza is really good and its no more expensive than any other pizza place you'll find. (ok maybe Jimmy's pizza on 106, they tried to keep that pizza at a buck for as long as they could! name might have changed) i digress. They've got great standard specialty slices as well as fancier pizzas by the pie (Mediterranean, four cheese, california mmm) ***3 stars for a good slice of pizza on the UWS north of 90th street and south of 110th street. Offer a good selection of slices, pastas, sandwiches etc) Been around for at least the 15 years I have been living in the neighborhood. Bravo to them.

Very satisfying. We got there late so just got some slices - I went with Sicilian, he with pepperoni - garlic knots and french fries. Everything was on par, the Sicilian even quite tasty! I was pleasantly surprised and will be back - their menu is pretty extensive for a place that seems like it would just do pizza and that's it. Typical pizzeria style interior, slightly nicer and much more spacious than your hole-in-the-wall NYC options. Clean and bright. Will be back.
