I've driven by this place for years, and never tried it out, until last night. Went around 6:30 (on a Saturday), and the place was very busy. I was happy about this, since I had no idea what to expect - and 'busy' should mean popular/good. After clearing a booth, they seated us, and the waitress was over quickly to take drink orders. I found their menu highly confusing. Not only do they organize items by nonsensical titles (such as "Get a Wiggle On", which includes their hamburgers), but the colors/fonts on the menu made it difficult to read (and no, I don't wear glasses). Their prices also seemed high. For instance, it's $10 for a basic burger, an extra $1.50 for bacon, and $.75 for cheese. Really? Extra fees like that just annoy me - or if they're added - I expect a heaping of both cheese and bacon. That was not the case. The burger was good, but was luke-warm when it arrived, so it had obviously been sitting out for a bit. They had a surprisingly decent selection of domestic beers (and some foreign, like Guinness) on tap. Overall: Service: A - Our waitress was very friendly/personable, and was attentive. Food: C+ - It was a decent burger, but nothing special Prices: C - Food prices were about 20% too high Overall, if you're in Niskayuna, and looking for a good place to go that has things on the menu for the whole family/group, I would suggest this place. However, be prepared to pay a premium for common foods.

I don't remember what I had, which says a lot. I do remember that I declined dessert here because I was dissatisfied with the value. You don't get a lot of food for the price, and most items are more expensive than they ought to be, especially because this place doesn't radiate luxury. The food was decent, I suppose, but not all of the food was served hot like it should have been. I waffled between 2 and 3 stars, but I know a lot of locals like this place, so I'll be nice.

Poor quality food at inflated prices. No working air conditioner. Mediocre food and smallish portions.

Good journeyman restaurant, with good journeyman food & service. I had lunch there today; quesadilla with pulled pork. It would have been better if the salsa had had more heat. The service would have been better if I had been able to get someone's attention during the meal to ask for hot sauce for the salsa.

Awesome food! Awesome service! Over 12 beers on tap to choose from! Highly recommend to anyone! The Burgers are amazing! And if you like seafood, this is the place to go. Trivia on Wednesdays is alot of fun!

Excellent food and very filling! We ate around 5:30pm and I was still full at 11pm (which is very rare for me, I usually get hungry a few hours after eating). I got the pulled pork plate with fries and cornbread. The food arrived so fast (5 minutes or so?), when the waitress brought out the food I thought it was just going to be the corn bread at first, but it was the entire meal. The pork was cooked as good as it comes, great tasting BBQ sauce. Slow cooked, saucy, delicious meat!

This was our first time at this establishment. We'd never heard about it until coming across a groupon for it. We're not too familiar with that area so it took a little driving around before we found it. We arrived for lunch. I had the "Pork and Greens" which is advertised as "Our Specialty Slow-cooked Pulled Pork, you make the salad we top it" and my dining companion had a Ruben, "Corned Beef and Swiss meet Rye bread and Russian dressing in this Deli Classic," with chips. We also ordered the "Golden Spurs," which were "Thick cut Batter Dipped Sweet Onion Rings served with Horseradish Sauce." Service was friendly and our food arrived quickly (around 5 minutes or so). The onion rings were large and had the perfect amount of batter. They were delicately coated but perfectly crisp. The dipping sauce that came with them was quite good. We enjoyed them but both agreed that they might benefit from some extra seasoning in the batter. However, it is still something I'd order again. My pork was also very enjoyable (no complaints at all) and my companion said he liked his Reuben, though he thought the chips were a bit overly hard (he enjoyed the flavor though). I was especially impressed with how fresh the salad bar was. One thing we both agreed we were not fond of was the plates used. They're a wavy shape, which at first was a bit cute, but soon turned into a spacing issue. The shape makes for awkward plate placement and got annoying at times. The environment is very casual and the staff was pleasant. All in all, based on this experience, I'd be glad to return again and would happily recommend it to others looking for a relaxed atmosphere and good, comforting, food.

I'm a big fan of dry rub, and LT's dry rubbed wings are, in my opinion, the best you can get in the Capital Region. I usually "force" myself to order the ribs as well, most of which end up coming home in doggy bag. Originally more focused on BBQ, LT's recently expanded their menu to include more variety, but I still go for the wings and the ribs. This is a great place if you want to bring the whole family for a meal where everyone can find something they'll enjoy, or if you just want to call ahead for a couple dozen wings to take home for the game. LJ always takes the time to stop and say hi and share a smile. And the ladies are all friendly and lovely. Definitely give it a try.

The 5 stars comes with one very big caveat, it relates only to the dry rubbed wings. They are without a doubt one of the top dishes I have had. One of the owner's LJ, spent years in Memphis cooking and his dry rub contains 72 spices and all 72 are perfect. Now I have to assume the other dry rubbed items, shrimp and ribs are also spectacular. The other food I have had was solid, hot wings were good, ribs were good, cornbread was very good. However just go and order wings and lots of them

Nice, chill environment, with exceptional service! The wings were good, I enjoyed a Lil Joe's Burger with macaroni salad for side. Would recommend and most certainly return.

It's just not very good BBQ for the money. The food is inconsistent and the prices are out of bounds. I'm not sure how this place is in business to be honest. Do you want quality BBQ at Fair prices? Order from Memphis King.

Dinner with the fam!... Took a poll and everyone said 3 stars. We arrived especially because Rich Connley was going to draw caricatures. My daughter called ahead and they said he wasn't paid by the restaurant so they weren't sure he would be there. So we showed up and he had another commitment! We were told to check his facebook page next time. I ordered nacho with chili which was a 3 and sangria which was 3 . The rest of our group granddaughter, grandson, daughter and husband said everything was a 3. My grandsons potatoes in his potato salad from the salad bar was extremely under cooked like hockey pucks! Our waitress Kaitlin was very nice... will have to come back to get the free caricature on Tuesday nights! All in all it was a fun family night gathering.

This place is so hit and miss. Sometimes I'll go and have great food with terrible service, the next time I'll have mediocre food with decent service. The drink service is a bit slower then I'd like. More often then not, they have run out of one thing or another. When I first started going here, which wasn't more than a year ago, everything was good. Time before last that I went with a group of four half of us were completely forgotten about. Two people were almost done with their meals before the other two even got theirs. This last time, everything came out relatively quick, however, it left a lot to be desired. Medium rare steaks were coming out medium well, the lobster mac and cheese was strange-there was a lobster in it, not lobster bits. We keep trying to give it the benefit of the doubt, but it's not like it used to be.

I've been here a few times. Sometimes it's really good and others just so-so. They have a nice bar and the atmosphere is relaxed. Sometimes they have comedians and music. They do participate in some wonderful fundraisers every year !

Food is average at best. Service is pretty good. For a place that seems so proud of their barbecue you would think it would be better. Below average pulled pork. Salad bar is the best thing. Limited options, but good stuff. No reason to go back.

LJ and the crew are some of the most friendly and inviting people in the business! The ambience around the bar is bright and entertaining and you're not crowded when you dine in. These guys do a phenomenal job in the area of Niskayuna that has other choices, but they strive to make you there's.

I have read the negative reviews and can see how this place can be hit or miss. THE GOOD. This was my first time there and the service was very good but I wonder how they would have done if it was busy. I was there to watch football and since it was empty they gladly put my game on the big screen. They had all the nfl games on. As a plus It wasnt loud as they muted the volume. Waitress and bartender were very attentive. Drinks would come within a minute of ordering. Another customer spilled a drink and the owner was on it immediately. Staff was friendly and stopped by my table many times. Plenty parking. Clean bathroom. Good beer selection including Lake Placid on tap. Dry rub wings were great. The owner takes pride in the food. He was talking about a jalapeño biscuit he made so I ordered it. It was a huge portion of biscuits covered in a spicy sausage gravy with a sunny side egg on top. Unique and delicious. Desert was peanut butter pie with cookie crust and pb cups in it. Best I ever had. Food was $30 before tip which was reasonable considering how good it was. THE BAD. hard chairs were a pain in my butt. Need to upgrade tvs. Not an attractive place (guess this should go under ugly). THE UGLY. The gnats. I killed four. They were non stop on my drink and food and it's freezing outside. Food and service is worth going back for and I want to see a small business owner succeed.

Walked in and nobody even said hello. We seated ourselves, waited 10 minutes, nobody even gave us a menu. Finally just walked out. Aesthetically the place needs a serious update. Wont go back.

Went there tonight. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The French onion soup was great. Prime rib was very good. Hubby did not enjoy the ribs as much. The salad bar was broken down by 8 pm so that was not available.

This place would be great if the food was better. I was pretty disappointed with what I ordered and so was the other person I was with. The servers were nice to us but I also saw something that upset me. One of the servers( who was clearly older or had at least been there longest) had been bossing another server around so badly. She was telling her what to do in the most rude way then sitting there talking to the bartender while she did all the work. No one should ever be treated the way that girl was treated and I felt so bad. I have a feeling she must have been in the family since I know it's family run. If I were her boss I would have fired her on the spot.

Yeah, I'm going to be a bit critical here with this one.No funny stuff. Had an absolutely terrible dinner here. Asked for a sample of brisket( sample was excellent) ordered the "basket-o-brisket", got the "small ladle-o-brisket". The meat was sliced pretty thin, this could not mask the general toughness of the prepared meat. The roll it's served on was very good. Came with a fairly good portion of fries.my wife ordered the worlds driest order of ribs, swear to god they were a hot second from being jerky! The mashed potatoes and garlic green beans were very good. Also the service was excellent, server was observant as to empty drinks, plates and was very accommodating. I'm stuck here,I hope they get their stuff together here. I like the general atmosphere. Just very dissatisfied. Oh by the way absolutely best rum and cokes!

When you walk in, it looks like a cross between a Sizzler and a sports bar. When we walked out, it felt like a cross between TGIFriday's and the school cafeteria. We've been a couple of times now, once during a busy rush and once just after, and very oddly we got better service when it was busy. When we came after the lunch rush (and it IS busy during weekday lunches - perhaps just because there isn't a lunch place this side of Niskayuna, other than the nearby chinese buffet place), we got seated and greeted in a cheery manner but then the service at the varying stages got slower and slower. As for the food: I'm not feeling it, except in the grease-processing glands of my body. The first time we came we had the vaunted BBQ, which was pretty ordinary and a bit cold in both forms we got it. Second time around we got the unusual (for a wings-and-a-beer kind of place) "Schenectady" - a fried eggplant sandwich - and the Portabella mushroom sandwich, plus our junior members got kids dishes. Now, props to LT's for adding these kinds of dishes (turkey wraps are also on the menu) and for having a bit more local flair than the typical Ruby Tuesday-Houligan's-TGIF style joint. But the execution was limpid; while I could taste that there had once been vegetables there, the oil factor (fried food, inside buttered and grilled bread) was dominant. The salad bar is OK: not a lot of choices but it was fresh enough. The one standout was the cole slaw, which was surprisingly horseradishy. Then there are the prices: $7 for a side of O-rings with nine rings? $7 for a piece of pie that was half the size of the usual diner pie? And sandwiches/burgers that start out at $10. You better be better than standard diner fare to get the premiums on the food. I will say the staff were friendly (if distracted by other duties, obviously) and the place was very casual and inviting for a strip mall joint, and the TVs on the sports bar, well, they worked and showed TV sports. Conclusion: if you have a jones for some fried food and a brewski, and you don't mind paying the premium, it's fine. But nothing quite as special as what previous reviews had brought me to believe. And, I will say it again, swimming in oil.

I've lived in upstate NY for three years now. This was the first restaurants I've ever walked out of. I am a stay-at-home-mom of three kids. Oldest is 5. Locals have good things to say about this place. On Tuesdays, kids eat free. We decided to give it a shot. Upon arriving I knew that this place was not what I expected. It looked like a diner. Bad linoleum flooring, small tables with hard chairs, Christmas lights for decorations well past Christmas. My thought? Glorified diner. Glorified because there is a lobster tank upon entering. That, and the prices. We had made a reservation but the place was empty. Only one or two other tables were taken. The place probably has 40 tables. Before our jackets were off, the waitress was asking for drink orders. (Dude - it's dead in here...give me a second - I have three young kids I need to get situated!) Drinks are included with the $6.95 (ohmygod expensive) kids meals so we ordered two Sprites for the kids (as juice was not an option on the menu and they can't have milk). The waitress comes back with the drinks. She explains that they ran out of drink lids so she just didn't fill them as full. (Oh, so there is less to spill?) The "glasses" were those 6oz clear cheap store brand "Solo" cups you can buy. You know, the ones that tip over if a breeze comes by. And guess what? Within five minutes both my kids drinks were in my lap. I looked at my husband and said, "This isn't going to work. We need to leave." We asked to cancel the order and went through the process of gathering a 5, 3 and 9month old. (If you know how much work that takes - you know it had to be bad to go through that effort.....not even taking in consideration we still would need to eat dinner). The owner rushed over and said, "Oh, I don't mind if they spill Sprite - this is kid's night." I responded, "Of course you don't mind - it wasn't your lap." I don't recommend this place. It's nothing more than a glorified diner with expensive pricing. The items on the menu were steak and seafood dishes. Although I didn't actually taste anything....would you spend $24.95 on a seafood dish in a place that serves drinks in store brand solo cups? $6.95 for a cheese quesadilla on the kids menu? It's half that price other places. (Like Ruby Tuesdays - who has leather seats and carpeting) Worst part - my 9 month old dropped one of her satin ballet slippers during our attempt to leave. So sad to loose a shoe that was worth more than the place!

This place is AWESOME! The dry rubbed wings are quite possibly the best thing I've ever eaten. Anyone expecting white table cloths and fine china has no clue what this place is about. It's great food at a fair price and the portions are huge. I'm a big guy and I never leave without something for later. LT's is a true gem in a world of cookie cutter chains and boring, repetitive menus.

Try rub wings were wonderful the only thing good of the whole meal. Pull pork platter pork had no seasoning no smoke rings seems like it came from a plastic container coleslaw was dry macaroni salad had no seasoning salt and pepper no flavor whatsoever the food is usually very good here maybe just a bad night

I live around the corner from this restaurant and desperately want to love it. I would love a place where I can trust the food that's only 4 blocks away from my house. Also- I've had the dry rubbed wings in the past and they are phenomenal. However, my last take out order was horrible and the service I received was even worse. First - I called for a Togo order. The woman that answered the phone was very polite, but I said that I was interested in ordering the Lobster Mac n Cheese, but I've never had your Mac n cheese before, so I asked her if it was a creamy version or a drier, baked version. Her response was "it's just like our regular Mac n cheese". Which is clearly not helpful in any way, as the response was meaningless. Second - I pick up the meal and go home. I open the container of Mac n cheese and guess what I find? An entire 1/2 lobster (not the tail end) covering the dish. Normally I'd be Ok with that, but the green goop from the inside of the lobster was covering the dish. I mean it was inedible and disgusting. I know that some people in Maine love the goop, but the average person definitely does not. So I called the restaurant and asked if this is how they typically serve this dish, with the gross green goop from the inside of the lobster literally covering the Mac and cheese. The same woman who took my order answered the phone and was confused by what I was saying, so she said she was going to talk with the chefs. 3 minutes later she picks up the phone and asks what I would like to do. Naturally I said I would like a refund, because the Mac n cheese was clearly inedible. She said she didn't think she could give me a refund and put the manager/owner on the phone. The owner then tried to convince me that the dish wasn't inedible and I could still eat it. Umm no. Gross. He said he would bring me a new dish, which is a nice offer but now I'm hungry and irritated and I told him that I just want my money back. He said that he either didn't know how to issue a refund or couldn't do it over the phone, or something like that. Then he said that they were really busy and asked if he could call me later to figure it out. I said sure and have him my number. Surprise Surprise, one week later and no call. I am irritated for several reason. 1) don't tell me that the green crap from the inside of the lobster is edible, it's not to most and should definitely not be your default way to serve a $25 entree. 2) you are supposed so call someone back when you tell them you'll call them back I was even going to tell them that it was kind of unfair for me to ask for my entire bill back because I was able to eat the claw meat from the lobster (which was very dirty to boot). I was just going to give them the advice that they should never serve a dish like this again. If you want to leave some part of the lobster on display, have the tail displayed on top with it already pulled out. Getting the claw meat out of the lobster is a pain and you definitely wouldn't anticipate having to do that when you order a lobster Mac n cheese dish. I would be PISSED if I was in the restaurant and this dish was served to me and I had to get the claw meat out when I didn't have kitchen towels handy. So it looks like I'll be disputing the charge on my credit card. I just hope they change this dish because it was a sincere disappointment for a $25 Mac b cheese dish. Again, the dry rubbed wings are amazing. Go get them now.

Located in the St. James Square (Balltown Road side) inside the former Blockbuster Video. I tried to have lunch here a month ago, but the place closed early at 1:00PM. I had dinner here on a fairly busy Saturday evening around 6:30PM. LT's Grill serves up a Southwest specialties and BBQ menu, which offers sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, ribs, pulled pork, steak, chicken, seafood, prime rib (Fri-Sat), soup & salad bar (one soup, lettuce, garnishes, dressings, macaroni salad & cole slaw), kids meals, and desserts. Live Lobsters everyday for $21.95! Beer, wine, and cocktails are available. The casual atmosphere is noisy since place is one large open room with lots of tables, booths, bar seating (the trough), and food staging area. The decor is very classic with lots of Western and Indian artifacts on the walls. Complementary fresh roasted peanuts and popcorn are given at each table with an extra bowl for the peanut shells. I ordered The Big Bubba ($7.95) served with Big Man Chips and an ice water. The very generous portion of food came out in under 10 minutes, but so did my ice water. The Big Bubba (a big pile slow cooked pulled pork on a Ciabatta roll) had very juicy pulled pork with minimal fat and no BBQ sauce (tangy sweet BBQ sauce squeeze bottle at the table). The bottom of the roll got soggy because the meat was so juicy. The Big Man Chips (served with horseradish dipping sauce) were very crunchy and hard, probably sitting out in the exposed air. The service was amiss. The waitress checked up on me once was working a large section of tables and running back and forth. The owner was helping out the staff and checking up with all the customers at each table. I skipped dessert since I didn't want to wait awhile again for the waitress to get my table. Anywho, I was going out for ice cream afterwards. NOTE: LT's Grill closes early on Mondays after lunch.

Improved over time. The last time we went here was shortly after they first opened and neither of us was impressed with our meal. I would have to guess that we probably tried some ribs and chicken. Had I reviewed it then I probably would have given it 2-stars. So we never returned... until now. A friend recommended that we stop for a good burger since we wanted a quick meal on our way to Proctor's. The half-pound Angus burger (The Hoss) was ordered medium-rare and was cooked closer to medium, but the nice char flavor out weighed such a minimal difference in doneness. The top of the toasted roll was bordering on burnt, but my wife seldom eats all of the roll so it was convenient to eat the burger on just the bottom portion with a fork and knife. I chose the Bubba Deluxe, slow-cooked pulled pork on a fresh toasted roll topped with homemade coleslaw and shredded jack cheese. My roll was toasted perfectly. The pork was piled high, good smoked flavor, and with the coleslaw (which I didn't recall that it had until I started writing this) and the cheese, juicy enough that I had to ask for extra napkins. Both of us chose "frizzle fries" as our side and they were OK, nothing special. I'll have to ask what makes them "frizzle" the next time. Yes, there will be a next time. While I enjoyed the pork sandwich enough to return, what probably caused me to give 4-stars instead of saying it should be 3 1/2-stars is the bowl of popcorn that was put on the table when we sat down. This was not your plain old ordinary popcorn, it had a light drizzle of caramel on it. AND... they serve Ubu on draft. Caramel-corn and Ubu, it doesn't get much better than this!

We heard they had the best dry rubbed wings in town, so we had to try them. They were very good, a little salty but very tasty. I do like a little heat in my dry rub so that would be my only real issue, otherwise we did gobble them up. I also had the dry rubbed ribs, they were tender, needed a bit more flavor(I should have ordered them with a sauce. Side dishes were all good. I know they are closing for a bit to remodel, interested to see what it will look like Waitstaff was wonderful.

I'm a regular lunchtime customer here ....at least once a week....sometimes more. The food is excellent and the prices fair. As a regular, the customer service is excellent but the limited wait staff can easily get overwhelmed when the place fills and I've seen some customers get rather upset at the lack of attention they are getting or how long they have to wait between visits from the waitresses. This isn't as bad during the Summer when extra help is usually brought on but the rest of the year they get almost as many customers but have less staff to attend to them. As for the food....the BBQ is excellent and really is their specialty. I particularly like their pulled pork sandwhiches, chicken wraps and large burgers but my favorite dish here has to be the beef stew which isn't on the normal menu but is often a special. That has to be the tastiest beef stew I've ever had! ...and when put over a bed of rice, it's just awesome! The salad bar is pretty decent and most of the daily soups are really good....with my favorite being a buttenut squash soup that is to die for. The bar is well stocked with many great brews on tap and a few that change regularly with the seasonal beers. They also have a fair selection of wines although I'd stay clear of the ones on the top shelf in front of the window that are subjected to harsh sunlight all day long.....not a good thing for wine! So overall, this is my favorite restaurant for lunch in the Niskayuna area and there are many reasons I'm a regular here. I highly recommend giving them a try at least a few times before passing judgement and try not to do it during the lunchtime rush...come a little early or late (11:30ish or after 1pm) for the best experience.

Just don't go. 2:00 Saturday and after 2 older couples left we were the only ones there the entire time. First we were told they don't have the smaller sized burgers. So that tells you they don't make their own, they are patties. Secondly we ordered a grilled sandwich and were told the grill was just turned off (2:00 mind you) because the electric will short out if it is on at the same time as the dinner buffet. She did however go ask if he could do one more. The response was yes but we don't have the roast beef. Five minutes ago the only thing they didn't have was the small burgers. So my husband and I realized this was the cook's way of not making "one more" grilled sandwich. So finally we just got turkey sandwiches. Upon ordering rye bread I was told that she didn't think they had rye. Seriously!! Then came some explanation how the ordering is done Tuesday. I don't care... if you have a menu, you should be able to serve what is on it. We made the mistake of staying. While the food was o.k., it was just turkey on bread. Which by the way, was over $10 plus we had to pay for raw onions and cheese! When was the last time a deli sandwich cost $12? (Oh there were frozen fries included.) The bartender/waitress had no personality and didn't bother to take our first glasses after getting another draft beer. She didn't even take them when she delivered the bill. $44 for 2 coors light drafts each and 2 sandwiches. P-L-E-A-S-E!!

LT's Grill has an awesome, hands on staff, that makes your dining experience just as great as the food. Laurie L, obviously, from your comments, you have lots of time on your hands and don't get out much. Comparing LT's recent renovation to a diner is a poor assessment of this super clean operation. The owner, who lives locally, cares so much about his food quality, friendly staff, consistency, supporting the local community with benefit events and is present in the restaurant 24/7. Go back and try the best ribs you will ever taste. Why cry over spilt Sprite? Life is too short.

My wife and I recently moved to Niskayuna, and through the Schenectady Forum on line I heard about LT's. It's tucked away a bit in the St. James Plaza on Balltown Rd. Being n00bs to the area, we actually went around the whole plaza without spotting it the first time - it doesn't really stick out. First off, I am a huge BBQ fan. And when I say BBQ I mean real slow-cooked / smoked meats. I have family in the south and I feel like I have been lucky enough to have some great BBQ. Is LT's the best BBQ I've ever had? Not by a long shot. That being said, I found the BBQ at LT's to be pretty good for this area. We've been to LT's about three or four times over the past six months. We'd actually had gone more but it seems it's always closed when we want to go (they're closed Sundays and Mondays). So far I have tried the pulled pork sandwich, their ribs, BBQ chicken and the skirt steak entree. Overall I really enjoyed the BBQ chicken the most. The meat was tender to the point of almost falling off the bone but it wasn't dry. There was a bit much sauce added for my liking, but it didn't really hinder the taste of the chicken which tasted as though it has been slow cooked. The ribs were also pretty good - I had mine dry as I am a fan of the rub. I wasn't a big fan of the pulled pork. It didn't really seem to have that slow-cooked texture to it, perhaps not enough connective tissue in the meat? The sides are pretty good, nothing to go crazy about - it's mostly standard BBQ fare like cornbread, mac salad etc. I do have to say that their homemade "big man chips" are pretty good. The inside can get kind of noisy depending on when you go, but honestly it's got a nice homey kind of feel that you normally don't get by simply throwing a bunch of crap on the walls like some chain restaurants. I particularly enjoy the fact they give you peanuts in the shell and popcorn when you first sit down. The waitstaff always seems to be pretty nice here too, not the most attentive but always kind. Food: 3 1/2 Service: 3

My boyfriend and I went here last week and all I can say is overpriced, overcooked, and underseasoned. There is nothing on the menu under $10, except the sides and they are more than they should be. I got the fried haddock meal. It came with 2 sides. I chose the creamed spinach - absolutely no flavor - and the dry rubbed fries - they charged an extra 50 cents for those but we weren't told that there was an extra charge for something listed with the sides, we didn't know until we got the bill. My boyfriend had the skirt steak, medium rare - it was well done... for sides he ordered the dry rubbed fries and the onion rings - they had no flavor and there was more breading and grease than onion! And the service was even worse than the food! There were only 4 or so tables of people and yet we only saw our waitress a total of 5 times. She never came to see how our food was, if his steak was correct, etc. She never asked if we wanted any water, only to see if we wanted more alcohol. When I asked for a box for my leftover fish and creamed spinach she just brought a box, nothing extra to put the spinach in so that wound up making a big mess as it sloshed around in the bottom of the container. All in all, a horrible experience and we will not be going back!

A friend and I had dnner at the "New" LT's Grill last evening. We had been there before and had a much better experience than last night. First there was a large party having dinner and the room was incredibly noisy. And now the kitchen is closed off which makes the room look smaller. To the extent that the we could not hear the waitstaff recite the specials of the evening. We started with "bottomless" drinks. Seems they are only bottomless if you don't finish them because we were never offered refills. We both ordered steaks, sides and salad bar. The salad bar was "interesting". Picking up the spring mix lettucve with tongs allowed for the water to drip off. The top of the macaroni salad had turned the odd yellow color from mayo that had not been stirred in for a time and was not cold enough. The rest of the bar was ok. Not even a third of the way through the salads our entrees came. Someone fired them way too soon. My T-bone steak was done to rare as requested, but the "caramelized onion demi glase" was rediced wine with chopped onion and a few green onion tops. Ok, but not as described. The creamed spinach was without flavor and the garlic-cheddar smashed potatoes were devoid of any garlic OR cheddar and cold. My friends "cream corn" vegetable du jour seemed to be nothing more than canned corn and milk. Her steak was fine, but again the potatoes under the steak were cold. An okay meal. but for the priice, we expected better. The most fun I had, though, was finding the rest room. I had to ask the staff and was told they were behind the unmarked black door to the left of the kitchen. How interesting.

We were in the area and found this on google navigator. Yelp sounded good so we called. Right from the phone call we knew the customer service would be great. It was! Our waitress Kelly recommended the dry rub ribs, so we got a full rack for the table. They were big meaty ribs that came completely off the bone. Delicous. The owner also sent out a plate of the dry rub shrimp for us to try, they would have Bubba Gump salivating. Our main dishes were.good, a very decent steak for me, 1/2 a cluck for some others. Fair brisket sandwich. Pretty good sides including a real tasty cornbread. If we did not live 5 hours away we would keep coming back, as it is when we are up this way again I am going straight for the ribs!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
