The Food: Without exaggeration, this meal blew us away. The flavors were simply great. To put it mildly, the salads, appetizers and entrees were amazing. Infused vodka shots are delish as well. The Service: The host was extremely warm and inviting. From the time we arrived to the moment we sat at our table, we were greeted with a smile. At the end of the night, our host sent us on our way with a carrot cake dessert. I would certainly come back because of the staff and high quality of the food.

I rarely write reviews, but I absolutely loved this place! From the moment we walked in, they treated us like royalty. The staff was incredibly attentive to us, the food was amazing (both taste and presentation), and the ambiance was lovely. Such a great spot for a date or to enjoy with friends. Some of my favorites were the tuna tartare cones, the chicken liver mousse, and the dulce de leche doughnuts. I also loved the Royalty cocktail, which was very lite and refreshing. I can't wait to come back here just to try other things from their menu. Thank you Duet for a great experience, and see you soon!

This restaurant has a very eclectic menu. It is a combination of French, Asian Fusion, Russian, Italian, American and Mediterranean food. Kind of like a tour of the world for your taste buds! The restaurant is very cute with extremely comfortable chairs. The staff is super friendly and very generous with the homemade vodka shots if you check-in on Yelp! We had: Trio of Kobe Sliders - delicious, with very tasty french fries Burrata with heirloom tomatoes - very good Kobe beef carpaccio - terrific with fresh arugula on top Tuna TarTar cones - fresh and good Linguini with Lobster - terrific Watermelon vodka - very tasty Cranberry vodka - tasty All and all a great meal!

I booked my boozy brunch wedding reception for 45 guests in the upstairs Barrow Room. It was an amazing time and they really took care of us. We had 4 family style and an hour of open bar brunch cocktails. Many of my friends said it was the best wedding food they've ever had! After the well presented and generous plates of charcuterie, fruit and cheese, tuna tartare, kobe beef burgers and more, we received lobster and crab cake benedicts to put us over the top. The setting is very luxurious with nice plush furniture and a great luxe vibe. We seriously couldn't be happier.

To even give this place one star is a gift because this place is a disappointment. Came as a party of four for brunch and 30 minutes into ordering the food, we were still waiting for someone to acknowledge that a croque madam, burger, eggs Benedict, and a tartine sampler shouldn't take this long -- unless you are cooking with one pan over a candle. While we were there, there was a large private party going on upstairs. So most likely, that is the reason why the food is coming out slow. The point is no one bothered to come explain or acknowledge the wait. To make matters worse, the tartine sample was nothing like the menu or what the maitre'd described. We literally got 5 halves of sliced bread. Two of them had one thin slice of tasteless cheese on top and one of them had half a boiled egg on top (not even a sauce or butter to hold everything together). Think of putting half a slice of singles cheese on plain bread and calling it a tartine. The other two tartine had three slices of smoked salmon and one had an avocado mix on it. That was insulting. When we asked about the order not being what was described on the menu, like where is the red caviar that was mentioned on the menu, Logan Miller, who I assume is the maitre'd or the manager, if not the owner, said he will check with the chef and came back to say they don't ran out. Well, last time I checked, when you run out of something, you're supposed to make it known to the customer before applying substitutes. In this case, not only did they not inform us, but they also gave us food scraps as substitutes. Logan explained it and walked away. Offering nothing like this is all acceptable. The rest of the food is not any better. My medium Kobe beef came well down with a few stars of fries as a side. The croque madam was as literal as it comes, two slices of bread, three slices of ham, some random cheese, and a broken cooked quail egg on top. The lobster eggs Benedict looked the most presentable but the lobster tasted fishy. The whopping $8 of orange juice should come with a scrapper because you should be entitled to drink every drop of it at $8. Throughout the meal, not once did anyone come check on us or offered us more water. The bill came out to be over $80 and we let the Logan know of the ridiculous tartine sampler we got should not be $24. He went back to the kitchen area, took forever and then had a random waiter come bring us the check. That waiter had the worst attitude and didn't even give us one look. Generally, I would've tipped well even if the service was fairly good even if the food is bad. But this place, you really can't tell what is worst -- service or the food. But this experience, I am honest to say I didn't tip well but they are deserving of it. The saying is, you get what you pay for, so in this case, the tip was parallel to the level of service I got. Duet is the worst establishment despite it looking very nice. If Logan is a manager, he is inexperienced and is evident that he is a poor manager. Smiling, chatting with patrons, and walking around taking patrons' order don't make you a good manager. Communication with the kitchen, knowing your dishes on the menu, stepping up to take responsibility when dishes were delayed are traits that make an effective manager. Duet brassiere , you should treat all your patrons the same, not just the ones you like. And please get a real manager.

I came here for a baby shower on June 14th and I loved it! We had the private room upstairs which perfectly and comfortably fit our group of about 30 women. Great space to throw a small event like this. The service? Wonderful. We had 4 waiters/busboys that took care of every request and every dropped champagne glass with a wonderful smile on their faces. They had great attitudes the entire 5 hours that we were there and my glass was never empty. Bravo! The food: we had the pre-fixe family style menu. Food kept coming and coming and coming and, damn, we were excited. From what I remember, this is some of the food that we had... for starters, salmon tartare (the best tartare I've tasted), lardon salad, meat charcuterie, artisan cheese board, some other salad lol, duck breast rolls, skirt steak and chicken yakitori (amazing). My favorite appetizer was the grilled sugarcane shrimp with seared pineapple - so savory! For the main course, we had sea bass and the lamb T-bone. I thought both were great, I wish there were more pieces of the lamb as we only got one little piece each! For dessert -- YOU MUST TRY THE FRIED DULCE DE LECHE DOUGHNUTS. Just saying. Great place. I had a lot of fun. Will definitely be recommending their private room to any of my friends who wants throw a birthday party or baby/bridal shower. Can't wait to come back here for brunch.

I met some girlfriends for a Sunday brunch here a couple months ago - reservations were ridiculously unnecessary. We were the only people there for at least the first hour or so, and even when we left, only a couple other tables were filled. It's a cute restaurant with a tantalizing bakery case, but the food was nothing to write home about. Service was painfully awkward, although not impolite or uncaring. More recent reviews indicate that service was awesome, so perhaps it has been remedied. I'd give it another shot, as it's a nice, spacious restaurant, where they didn't rush us out (and allowed us to sit and chat like brunchers should have the opportunity to do), and hope that my next experience mirrors the more impressive reviews next time.

We had a wonderful evening, The food and service were excellent. We ordered fried dumplings, grilled sturgeon, chicken Kiev and beef stroganoff. Everything was delicious! Nice selection of dessert and extensive wine list!!! Duet goes the extra mile with its fine food, tableware, service It's a quiet, unobtrusive, little peninsula in the middle of all the action and options in the west Village. Warm and welcoming .

Had an excellent Saturday night dinner here. Nice decor, very comfortable. Fun to sit by the window and watch the world go by in the Village on a Saturday night (entrance is technically on Barrow St., but windows front onto 7th Ave.). Our waiter was warm and friendly. Food was excellent. Eclectic menu with several different cuisines. French onion soup topped with some sort of stinky cheese was great, my wife ate all of mine. Dulce de leche doughnuts were insanely good. Nothing negative to say. Will be back. Strongly recommend.

Duet has nice vibe and cute setting. The food is mediocre, but looks pretty. Takes 25-30 minutes to get a salad and an egg benedict ready...

I've been here a few times for cocktails, but I finally had a chance to sit down for dinner today. They have a great happy hour menu and I was really surprised to see the variety of choices on their dinner prix fixe (5 cold appetizers, 3 hot appetizers, 4 entrees, and 2 desserts). I ordered the aphrodisiac oysters, grilled skirt steak, and the donuts (doughnuts). Oysters: The oysters come in really cute shot glasses with a mix of ponzu, jalapeño, and quail egg. You can also order a shot of honey pepper vodka shot to go with the oysters (if you sit at the bar they might just let you try a sampler like I did). It's awesome and adds to the aphrodisiac-y-ness. Steak: I feel like the skirt steak can be a hit/miss. This place nails it! I ordered mine rare and though the steak wasn't rare, it was tender and well seasoned. It comes with a little tub of couscous. Not the teeny dry type, but big juicy kind. Yay! Donut/Doughnuts: I've had the donuts here before (not sure why they are spelled doughnuts but okay) and they've made me smile and make a mess each time. Really, there's no other way to go (aka: forget the tiramisu). The donuts are warm, stuffed with caramel and sprinkled with confectionary sugar. The cutest part is the bathtub of berries. Like friends with dessert. OK, now onto my favorite thing: The Drinks! *Disclaimer: They have infused vodka here. Which means their drinks are strong, taste just like juice, and deadly. My first drink here ever was the Cosmo (not on the menu, but you can just ask for it). It looks like a really red cosmo, tastes like a perfect cosmo, but it's really just straight liquor (cranberry infused vodka) with a teensy eensy bit of lime juice. For $14 a drink, you will be happily drunk $18 in (and not even know it). Royalty: This one is on their cocktail list and it's got a great blueberry acai infused vodka, champagne, and some smashed berries. I honestly believe the berries are just there for show cause while that is all you taste, it's not the thing that's making your head spin. Lychee martini: As any good respectable Asian should... I LOVE lychee martinis. Most places aren't too good at making this drink... it's either too much vodka, too much lychee juice, or just bleeecccchhhh. Duet uses lychee infused vodka so one only tastes the lychee juice and no vodka. Once again, the drink is pretty much pure liquor. Overall opinion on their drinks? GREAT drinks for GREAT prices. You will not get a tastier or stronger drink in this area any day of the week. And as New Yorkers, I know that is an important thing. To finish up, the ambiance is delightful and I'm really looking forward to the summer. Lots of floor to ceiling windows and fresh air. It's right in the heart of the West Village and it gets an extra plus for being across the street from my favorite ice cream place (and a 1 minute walk from the 1 train). Great place, highly recommend! Come and grab a lychee martini to assuage your doubts.

Holy crap!!!! Guys this place is quickly becoming a gem in the village, if you haven't yet you should definitely stop by. I had the lamb Colorado lamb t-bone with cauliflower and wild mushroom couscous which was so dope. Got to enjoy it with a nice 7$ glass of sangria. My server was very chill making a fancy establishment feel more friendly and I don't feel bad coming in with just my converse and hoodie. Overall an excellent experience, highly recommend it.

The service must be acknolwedged first because it was that superb. While we were served by a 2-3 different waiters/bussers, we were very well taken care of. Consistently attentive, I truly felt they went above and beyond to make sure our table was cleared when necessary, and that every item we ordered was on par with what we wanted. (I think they refilled my coffee for me 3-4 times for free). So on the beautiful Easter day, my friends and I walked into Duet for our brunch reservation. We were promptly led to the second floor, which was elegantly decorated. It is trendy with an air of sophistication and a beautiful representation of what West Village has to offer as you look out throw the windows. The coffee was accompanied by little white and brown sugar cubes, which nobody can deny. Food- Pastry Basket An assortment of 5 freshly baked pastries/muffins. They were all pretty delicious. I will say there was no standout, and I wouldn't order it again just because it wasn't anything special and I hold my sweets with high regard. Turkey Burger First of all, please look at the photos. They do a fantastic job making sure you don't forget their name! The burger came with mini labeled ketchup and mayo bottles and a Duet skewer/pick thing. All very cutesy. The turkey was juicy and went well with the sharpness of the cheddar in combination with the sturdy and slightly salty pretzel bun. It was a hearty burger we were hoping for. The fries were crispy and seasoned amazingly well. Croque Madame Layered Presented on an elegant slab of gray slate, the croque madame laid on top of a Duet branded parchment paper and the Duet pick/skewer. The fried quail egg was a nice unique addition to the dish- since it's smaller in size to a regular egg, it kept the Croque Madame from getting too soggy and kept its structural integrity. I personally wouldn't get it, because I'm not a huge fan of all the bread. Price- $24 per person brunch pre fixe came with main dish, coffee/tea and 1 alcoholic beverage. Fairly priced. I don't think I would come here multiple times just because the style of food is not of my preference, but my experience was a fantastic one! I would honestly rate the food 3 stars, but the decor, ambiance and service deserves the additional star.

the food and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Chef Dmitry Rodov come to our table, ask us how was the food, recommended a few dishes, that was "to die for" The best was seafood in the pan, you can confident eat it with the Pan . Desserts are just out of this world. I will defiantly recommended this place!!! Almost forget soups, Wow, out of this world.

I've been to duet many times for brunch and it's the best deal in the city. The food is outstanding I've pretty much tried everything on their menu. The location is perfect as I usually drive in and find metered parking right infront. The service is great.

I bought a gilt group voucher for Duet to have a fancy date night with my boyfriend. We got to share a bottle of wine and order from a pre-fixe menu. The interior of the restaurant is absolutely adorable with nice big windows overlooking the west village. It's a great place for people watching. Before we sat down to eat we got drinks at the bar. I had a pineapple martini and it was so so so good. The bartender was wonderful. They have a menu of flavored vodkas that all sound delicious. When we finally got seated the service was excellent, we were even being served from the right even if it wasn't the most convenient for the waiter. I wanted to really love this restaurant but the first strike again them was that our bread basket came out completely frozen. I mean rock hard frozen blocks. We had to sent them back and instead of getting a different basket they just popped our rolls back in the oven, and some still came back frozen in the middle but i was so starving we just ate the unfrozen ones. For the first course we shared the kobe beef tar-tare and escargot puffs. These were both incredible. The puffs were very flavorful and had a light flakey crunch to the pastry. The escargot melted in your mouth. The tar-tare came out in a glass dome of smoke that infused great flavor into the meat. For the main course we eat ordered the duck. I honestly thought it was a little overcooked for my preference. The wild rice was just okay, it had an overwhelming "perfumey" taste. For dessert we ordered coffees and got the caramel stuffed doughnuts. The coffee was phenomenal and my only complaint about the donuts was that they didn't give us enough :) They were delicious, airy and stuffed with caramel sauce yum. I really really wanted to rate this place 5 stars but because of the frozen bread and just okay entrees i'm settling on three. I would highly recommend this place for some small plates and cocktails or coffee and dessert!

An amazing meal at Duet Brasserie, before going to a play at Barrow Street Theater. I like their fusion menu so I had cold borscht for my first course and an Italian entree--seafood risotto. Both were perfectly prepared and delicious. The chef-owner came out several times to see how I liked everything. I got superb service and attention, partly I'm sure because I was having a late lunch/early dinner and the cafe was not crowded yet. My server Ruslan also was wonderful. The Russian rye breads were interesting and my latte was perfect too. The cafe is small (and has an upstairs space) and is apparently directly over the subway, which rumbled below me throughout dinner. Very New York, very Village.

My friend and I had the best time - the setting, the food, the service - so much fun! We loved it - we sat on these grey velvet upholstered chairs facing the busy avenue- I had the lobster burger which was great- not really a burger but big pieces of lobster- our waiter talked us into the dulce de leche donuts and we loved them!,,,the sweet potato fries were delicious and our waiter Ruskin - was so solicitous and charming - he couldn't have been nicer.

Brunch was totally disappointing. I had the Layered Croque Madame and it was a huge letdown. All you could taste was the bread (3 layers of thickly-sliced, completely hardened and dried out bread). It had a single, meager slice of cheese and what looked like it could have been Oscar Mayer ham in each layer, barely cooked through. The quail egg on top was cute, but it was way too small to add any taste value to the dish. And there was notably no bechamel, which should have given it the moistness and flavor it desperately needed. On top of this, the service was horrible and the restaurant was only half full. They seemed utterly unprepared to seat us, even though we had a reservation and were on time. There was only one waiter and it took way too long for him to come to take our order, and then the food took what must have been at least 30-40 min to come out because we didn't get our food until 1 hr 15 min after we arrived. I'm generously giving an extra star because the place is cute and well-located, but otherwise, there's really not much redeeming about this place.

Fanciest toothpicks ever! Seriously a nice little pack with designer toothpicks to end a meal! The food was ok I guess. My Benedict was good tasting but with close to ice cold ham, hot eggs and warm hollandaise it caused an initial "something doesn't belong here" kind of feeling, you know like when you bite into a piece of chicken that's raw in the middle? It was surprisingly hard to get water and coffee refills. We even had to get up and look for the waiter as he was nowhere to be seen after the food was served, despite the fact that we were the only guests in the restaurant. As we were leaving and I asked for a toothpick on the way out the door, our waiter completely redeemed himself by giving me handfuls of these awesome toothpick packages, matchboxes and pens! Who needs good service and food when you have toothpicks like these?

Cute little restaurant on a busy corner in the west village. My girls and I loved the vibe as soon as we walked in. We started with the Kobe beef tartare. It was delicious but the portion could have been a bit larger. I had the skirt steak rare. It was cooked perfectly and had a BBQ flavor to it. My girls both had the duck breast which I managed to steal a bite of. All I can say is yum!! We finished the night off with the dulce de leche donuts which were the star of the meal. I'm still thinking about how delicious they were... We received complimentary shots of their house infused vodka which was quite tasty as well. Overall a truly pleasant experience and we can't wait to go back!

Feels more like a tourist trap by "the perfect picture, perfect review and perfect experience" Came here for friend's birthday party. Host was really nice, passionate and welcoming...until our Chicken screwed up! He began to apologize on that the chicken dish was not presentable, the chef would like to remake a new order for us. The host feel bad and want to apologize by giving us complimentary shots... Those are all alright... My friends are happy and we are in such a great mood and vibe becoz of those shots. Then we started to by some shots on our own as well to boost the vibe. And a Giant Bill came! All the complimentary shots are not so complimentary... We asked for a separate check for the shots. He only separated half of it which is odd...then he said he can void the drink check ( FYI: we have no problem on paying any of these drinks) BUT WE HAVE TO GIVE HIM MORE TIPS ON CASH ( that's exactly what the host say). And he pushes two survey forced us to write his name and say he is amazing host ? What kind of restaurant regulation is this? You give free stuff and charge people, then you void it but ask people to pay cash? The night turns so down. Dirtiest host trick ever! Food is ok ...

Came here with our family, group of ten, for a Sunday afternoon lunch. The salads and appetizers were good. Try the Tuna tartar and mixed salad (with bacon). Then we ordered the main course .. It took OVER AN HOUR to arrive , and most ppl ordered sliders. How long does it take to put a tomato, piece of lettuce and a burger patty on a dry, cold roll? Shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. The sliders were mediocre. The seafood for Two was enough to to feed only one. The skirt streak was very small and lacking presentation. There was a private party going on upstairs, and they were severely understaffed. Not once did anyone apologize to us that the food was taking over an hour. Completely unacceptable. I'm giving this place three stars because it's a great location and the appetizers were pretty good. I would not come back here.

A great atmosphere, reminded me of a cafe on the streets of Paris. Good pricing for happy hour and Brussels sprouts and cheese plate awesome. The service was impeccable. We went on a Tues night so the staff was limited but they still attended to our every need. I highly encourage giving this restaurant a try as they are doing everything they can to appeal to the NYC West Village crowd. They are open to suggestions and want to satisfy their client. Vladimir was phenomenal- kind, genuine and hospitable. I'm looking forward to seeing how this place continues to evolve.

Dad. and I had. GREAT dinner here. tonight. Awesome location in an upscale restaurant to watch the West Village and enjoy an outstanding meal. Best beef stroganoff I've ever had. And that's saying a lot! good drinks. outstanding desert. menu. Carrot cake presentation cannot be believed. Tasty too. Head chef came to our table. Russian background. French American options also. Chicken liver mouse appetizer was great.

We attend to duet with a party of 5 on Friday 01 30.15 and we had a total blessed. Oystets were super fresh. Seafood platter was great and perfectly cooked. OMG the steak is amazing. This place is on my top 10 list. Deserts were super great and especially ponchiki was super good with capital S. All staff is profesional and service was right to the point - fast and friendly.

Have eaten here twice now. Once for dinner (three courses and drinks) and once for happy hour (four dishes plus two desserts and drinks) and just want to confirm the food is outstanding. I am definitely coming back for brunch. I admit, the wait staff are quirky, but they are also accommodating, friendly, and attentive. I'd much prefer quirky wait staff and amazing food, than amazing service and mediocre food. The appetizers and entrées are positively scrumptious and the dessert should be illegal. The only improvement I would suggest is perhaps more egg with the triple-decker Croque Madame. For those of us who love egg yolk, that tiny quail egg (albeit cute and delish) was disproportionately small for such a large sandwich.

Brunch review: $24 for a drink, coffee and a brunch dish. Sounds like a great deal but I wasn't in the mood for a brunch drink or coffee so I ordered scrambled eggs and two other brunch dishes with my friend. Again, we did NOT drink alcohol or had a juice or anything but still they charged us the full $24 for each dish. $24 for scrambled eggs that weren't even good. What a rip off!!! I think this restaurant is really trying hard, as previous reviews state the dishes all look "pretty" but taste wise everything was bland and boring. The pastries tasted old and are overpriced. Save your money and go to one of 200 other great brunch places in the west village.

We just visited on our yearly trip-vacay to NYC and it was such a pleasant and relaxing experience. Ambience: this is my first love, and I know that's not what you foodies out there are necessarily seeking, but from my own little perspective, ambience and a beautiful environment can be what seal the deal for me in any experience. Duet has a very clean, light aesthetic, and the view is beautiful from the first floor dining area. The 2nd floor is apparently for either larger parties or perhaps when crowds are there. It was lovely and looked like an amazing place for any get-together (showers, parties, etc). The first floor tables had these little moss arrangements and each napkin was perfectly folded with a little paper Duet tag on it. The bar was beautiful with big jars of vodka-soaked fruits on display, and quaint chicken wire detailing on the shelving. The music was perfection, a lot of chill-ambient, which happens to be my favorite. Service: the service was absolutely perfect. Logan, our server, was so attentive and kind, and so very pleasant. This is a treasure in any restaurant, especially in the most hopping city in the US. He checked back on us, offered options for me (such as suggesting their delicious iced coffee.) and was just generally an angel. Food: My husband ordered their burger, which I believe was a Kobe burger. It was incredible, and yes, it took time to be prepared, but well worth it. The burger was on a perfect croissant roll, with beautiful fresh accompaniments. The fries were also amazing, and servings were in perfect proportions. (Not overkill with heart-attack-Supersize portions, but also not some tiny serving). The best is when the subway actually is running through, and you can feel the vibes as it happens. I know this is probably no big deal in NYC, but for this Houstonian, it was very cool and made the scene even more memorable. Overall, I loved how they treated us; we were walking and shopping all day, so we weren't dressed perfectly or super fresh (hot day!)....but we were still treated like royalty. I hope this restaurant is open for a very long time and next time, we'll go for dinner or brunch.

I am shocked repeat: shocked. That this place ever has an empty seat when we eat here. EVERYTHING we've had has been absolutely exquisite. And the manager Emin is as gracious and thoughtful of a host that one could ever ask for. If you are a meat eater you can't pass up the kobi beef tartare.

Pricey but wonderful. First-class decor and ambiance. I went with friends in the summer and the restaurant's wall-sized windows were open to the street. Pleasant and quiet waitstaff who allowed us plenty of time and space to determine our orders and have long, personal conversations. Lovely brunch drinks and food.

I cannot say enough good things about Duet. Everything was top notch; the food, the service, the atmosphere. The restaurant is very chic. I loved the pendant lights with Edison bulbs, the twine wrapped around the napkins with the restaurants logo dangling from it, etc. Duet Brasserie is printed on the plates and glasses but it is cute and not annoying. The restaurant is dimly lit (I saw a few older folks bring out phone lights to read the menu or their bill) which provides a nice mood. The music choice was very good though it did get a little loud later in the evening. The lower floor of the restaurant is mostly in a glassed in area that looks out to the side walk. It was really fun to sit and watch evening in the West Village take place all around us. The food was phenomenal. They brought us a selection of bread (french, a grain bread with raisins, and a darker bread that I'm not sure what it was). We were presented with a delicious amuse-bouche of tuna tartare with avocado and salmon roe. As an appetizer, we ordered a cheese plate which was a selection of five cheeses. We got to choose from about 8 options and ended up with gruyere, brie, aged goat cheese, drunken goat cheese, and a kind of aged American cheese. All were wonderful and the plate also came with water crackers, bread slices, grapes, and sliced strawberry. We were able to really savor the cheeses as the staff did not make us feel rushed at all even though the restaurant was busy and we had already ordered dinner. For dinner, I had what I consider to be one of the best steaks of my life. It was the grilled skirt steak. The menu says it has an orange-chipotle sauce. To me, it tasted slightly of barbecue in that it was that combo of sweet and smoky. The steak was cooked perfectly and was tender and juicy. I was so happy. The portion was also huge. It was like a steak and a half (literally two pieces). I ate the large piece and brought the rest home along with the side of wild rice. My friend had the Pan Seared Salmon. She really loved it and said it was cooked perfectly. The presentation was also really pretty. Speaking of presentation, we saw so many spectacular looking dishes pass on their way to other tables. Seriously, they were incredible. I would love to eat there again and try some of the other things. It looked like they were really innovative with their platings. For dessert, I had the souffle which is well worth the 25 minute wait (put your order in before you finish dinner). It was perfectly puffy and after bringing it to the table, the waiter served it to me by busting in the top, pouring and cream, and mixing it up. The result was an incredible moist soft cake. I was stuffed but couldn't stop eating it. My friend had the trio of creme brulee and I sampled those. It came with plain, chocolate, and pistachio, each in a little ramekin. The staff did an absolutely wonderful job of making sure we were well taken care of the entire evening. I always say the hallmark of a good restaurant is that I never run out of water. I drink a ton of water with dinner and my glass was never dry. The wait staff was so attentive without ever being obtrusive. They made sure we had anything we could have possibly wanter and never rushed us. We were there for close to three hours and never felt rushed which is so important to me. I like to be able to really savor and enjoy a meal. They were always prompt and pleasant. I would definitely go back here again and recommend it to friends.
