Under the new management the waiting staff in general seems to be a bit frenetic. Tables don't get cleared quickly. Bathroom not always clean - it used to be spotless . Some of the staff smoke just outside the door so smoke drifts back inside! Very vegan! The waitress Jennifer (this pm Sat May 25th 6 pm) is an exception - polite - efficient - solicitous. Looks like they didn't change the prices on the old menus but charge new prices (higher) for teas. Great collection of teas, free wifi, vegan desserts (I hope!). Maybe growing pains but customer service needs to be improved or they will flounder.

Cute little space with delicious vegan desserts! Def want to go back and try more. We had the caramel apple cheesecake and chocolate peanut butter cake. I'm not vegan and am a huge fan of conventional cheesecake, but this vegan version is one of THE BEST cheesecakes I have ever had. The texture was smooth and dense and just sweet enough. That enough makes me want to go back, even though the chocolate cake was a total miss, way too sweet with a weird mouthfeel. We also had some teas, but they were unremarkable as I can't remember a thing about them XD

I liked the food here. Prices are great. Nice spot in the LES. I would have rated this 4 stars if those were the only criteria. Unfortunately the service is subpar. The waiter (maybe owner, who knows as there were only 2 people in the kitchen) was very unattentive. He took our dessert orders one at a time (we were a group of three), meaning he took my friend's order, walked to the kitchen spent a few minutes talking to the chef about the order then came back with the dessert. Did the same thing with my other friend. And finally got to me. The reason we couldn't all put in our dessert orders at the same time was because each time he asked what we would like, he would start to walk towards the kitchen as we were talking. I mean he turned his back to us. SUPER RUDE. So we all ate our desserts staggered a few minutes apart. When we were ready to leave we had to look for him (outside having a smoke) to get the bill. He never came by to check on us at anytime during the meal, we had to call for him to ask for dessert too. We split the bill three ways using credit/debit cards. Again he was no where to be found after dropping off the bill. So I have to drop my rating for this place to 3 stars. Would I go back?? Sure, might even go today but I'm not expecting anything more than mediocre service. The food was good so that's all that matters.

Such a wonderful, cute spot. It features an array of absolutely delicious vegan desserts, a wide selection of teas, and great brunch specials. A smaller space, but still great and cozy. Didn't like the music playlist, but everything else an A+.

Any restaurant with the word "vegetarian" in the awning is always going to catch this girl's eye. I popped in for an edamame hummus and avocado sandwich and was not disappointed by the taste (note to self: learn how to made edamame hummus - it was silky perfection), but wish that the bread had been a little less toasted and the sandwich easier to eat without getting hummus all over my hands.

I hate to say this, but I was SUPER dissappointed by this place. I am a vegan and generally get excited about vegan food, but this place was terrible. I had the most dry, salty, boring vegan BLT, way worse then I could have made at home- it was basically just very cheap, poor quality prepackaged veggie bacon from the grocery store, unripe mealy tomatoes, and bordering on stale bread. The service was extremely slow. If you want real food, go somewhere else, because this place only has the worst prepackaged garbage.

This place fu*king sucks (and if you don't believe me, look at some of these reviews and all the latest ones on Seamless.com ). We ordered the food at 8:18pm and over 2 hours later, the food has still not been delivered. I tried calling the place and the as*hole on the other end who picked up hit a bunch of random buttons before the music came on, then the guy decided to just hang up on me (by the way, I could hear that guy talking to some other person in the background during the moment when he was hitting random buttons, so I know someone's there to answer calls). At this point, they're already closed, so I don't expect anything to happen out of this other than the hassle of trying to halt the charge on my credit card. I'd give this place no stars at all if that was possible.

I got the green tea to go, but ended up sitting here for a few minutes. It's a bit small but the desserts look awesomeeee.

Maybe I'm in the minority here (as evidenced by all the other reviews) but we love this place. Everything we have ordered has been great, the service has been good and the dessert (Peanut Butter Bomb, from Vegan Treats) is great. If we lived in LES, we would go here all the time. Now that it's a few train stops away, I can't go as often as I would like. Considering we are vegan, maybe our standards are different than the other people posting, but we have no problems here whatsoever. The store is not gourmet at all, but that doesn't detract. My personal favorites are the vegan ravioli and the club sandwich. There are a lot of really good vegan food in NYC, and I think this can definitely hold its own with all the others in its own little relaxed, teahouse, diner-esque niche.

This restaurant is getting one star from me due to the way the owner treats his staff. Anyone who thinks the servers are to blame for anything needs to understand that the owner doesn't actually pay the servers; they work for tips only, which is illegal. Any employee who is competent, or who has a sliver of self esteem leaves this place as soon as they are able.

it was a good place with good potential but now is just a pricey w no taste LES tramp, you can get same desserts around the neighborhood for half less, believe me, just a cross the street there a deli selling same desserts.

Fantastic desserts - amazing peanut butter and chocolate creations. Yummy sandwiches that use faux chicken in creative, tasty ways. Great big salads. Close quarters inside and a small outdoor patio. Service is good. A lovely little spot for lunch or afternoon indulgence. Cool vibe. Decent playlist.

The service here is the worst. THE WORST. If you come here, prepare to not get any service at all. You will be ignored. The waitstaff is absolutely clueless. It's the same deal every time I go here, so it wasn't just a fluke. I understand that service in NYC can often times be subpar, and I never base my reviews around that. But there is just no excuse for how inattentive the waitstaff is here. It's been this way for years (even when they were called Teany). It never gets better. AWFUL. The food and drinks are great. Recommended for takeout only.

Huge portions for the price. I don't hate it! Chicken salad salad is delish along with the vegetable barley soup. Perfect for a cloudy, rainy day out. Just what I needed. :)

Since I'm a vegan dessert-deprived person in a city teeming with dairy-filled desserts, I love this place. It's my go-to on a rainy day and gorge myself with delicious food that won't make me feel sick! I loved the mango cheesecake the first time I went. I have this impression that the peanut butter chocolate bomb was like an explosion- very overwhelming. It was a weird battle between peanut butter and chocolate to win your favor by shoving it into your face. The second time I went, I had delicious apple caramel cheesecake but a weird chocolate cake. I can't remember a thing about the teas though.

Generous portions of fresh and delicious vegetarian food? Yes, please. Prices are not too steep and the ambiance is casual and nice. Service is ok. Food was delish.

A nice enough place with an overwhelming amount of tea options. Seriously, there are about 100 and it's a little paralyzingly to go through them all at first look. That being said I got the peppermint tea, and it was good, but not as good as one might expect with so many options.

Omg ate here late last night & the salad was fresh & huge! The lentil chilli was comforting & delicious. And the gluten free, vegan cheesecake (pumpkin flavor) was AHHHHHMAZING! Service was great at 1am. Attentive & cheerful. No issues to report at all. Not a big fan of the edamame humus, though I got it to add protein to my salad which it did. Flavor just wouldn't compel me to order again. Loved being here though. Great spot for vegan night owls, intimate and cozy conversations. Pretty low-key romantic late at night.

Where do I even start! Terrible, terrible service. I went here to eat, I ordered a sandwich and a tea. They only brought one tea, for my friend. I waited and waited, 45 minutes later I ask the completely inept and rude waitress: where is my sandwich. What sandwich? She went and check: my order was still hanging there. She took my order!! I explained to her how I wanted my sandwich. Did she forget already? She never gave it to the kitchen. Three people doing nothing. The girl in the kitchen was texting instead of cooking. Really??? I said well cancel my order to which she responded ok and left without even asking if I wanted something else or saying sorry for not giving you your meal or anything for that matter. The tea was cold. Awful place. Awful service. I am still surprised at how bad the service was. What's wrong with that waitress!! I will of course not return and I will not recommend. Not even my tea was decent. I left and said thank you to which the waitress said nothing. Lovely!

great veggie sandwiches love there menu and sweets! Hate the fact they use MICROWAVES! have some respect for your food don't use microwaves its nasty! if it wasn't for that would make this my regular spot! eat everything except the microwaveble stuff! as far as service seen a lot of changes owners seem too be all over the place and very unorganized and it shows! food and service could use help!

I loved this place when it was still Teany; I enjoyed it after it became Teanissimo, but today was another story. I wanted to grab a quick bite before an appointment and knew I could get vegan food there so when I arrived, I waited while the women counted out cash to someone obviously making a pick up or delivery of some sort, despite the fact that she ignored me. She and the cook were the only people in the place. I quickly ordered scrambled tofu which was supposed to come with 3 add-ons, which I also ordered. When my plate came, one of the three add-ons, avocado, was missing, as was any seasoning other than a lot of salt. They did bring me some, avocado which helped with the saltiness but the food was not very good. Both workers stepped out when I was ready to pay, and the woman returned to tell me it was cash only. She confirmed that this was not their policy and there was no sign to that effect - clearly she just wanted cash to replenish what she had paid out to the guy who was there when I arrived. She did take my credit card, grudgingly. While eating, I was reminded that I had walked in there recently for a coffee but left immediately because the music playing was so bad. Again the music was awful, just adding to an unwelcoming atmosphere. I won't be back again.

How are you guys still in business? Really. I gave you another shot last night and I got cold soup and burnt coffee. I don't know how a place can screw up so royally for so many years and still pay the bills. What's your secret?

This is for the tea retail only. I love tea as much as I do coffee (really!). Places like David's Teas & Teavana which are corporate & popping up all over the place are good. But my prefrence is to support the boutique hand made tea people. I like the reusable adorable tin canisters and all the creative flavor packed teas like my favorites: #79 Honeybush Vanilla and #69 Vanilla Berry Cream Treat for myself or great as compact travel worthy gifts.

Stumbled upon this place. So cute and quaint. I needed prosecco with my meal, but I will definitely come back for their tea. The vegan cheeseburger was okay. I could easily make it at home. And I thought the bun overpowered the burger. I will order something else next time. Overall it was a relaxing experience. Great vibes. Mediocre food. A great place to come and listen to oldies music, sit on their patio, and work on your laptop or read a book

Oh boy. We had a really great server but the food here is simply terrible. Sangria had little to no alcohol We had a pasta that was pretty obviously microwaved due to the uneven cooking The Vegan pasta was only sauce and pasta. -- Literally no vegetables. I tried to like it since the server was so nice but the menu is also just very strange. It just wasn't very good.

This place used to be awesome, I visited whenever I was in NYC dating back to its opening in 2001-2002, today it is a hollow shell of that. I don't think Moby or his ex-girlfriend must own it now based on my recent experience there. The original TEANY was clean and sparsely decorated, while this place feels a bit thrown together. I used to regularly buy packaged tea and pots with the TEANY logo imprinted on them for gifts and when I last went in, they didn't have any. They filled up a small dirty tin they found lying around, halfway with tea and charged me the same price as what I used to pay for a large tin full of tea, which is just lame. The people working their aren't as friendly, I was always greeted by a smile or a hello but lately...nothing This place just isn't what it used to be and that's fine, I just won't be going there anymore.

This place is great! We stumbled across this place when we were walking through LES. The tea collection is quite vast and great here. They also make fresh cold pressed juice here - we got the zen citrus, which is a mix of orange, grapefruit and ginger. It was cold, fresh and refreshing, exactly what we were looking for! This is a really cute cafe with a lot of different food options for vegan / vegetarians. I definitely want to return here for brunch next time. The staff is also super friendly and knowledgeable. I would highy recommend this place.

Before I say what happened on my most recent visit, I have to clarify that this has NEVER HAPPENED WITH ANOTHER STAFF MEMBER. The a**hole-ocity that I endured from the following employee was an isolated incident, but it was particularly shameful since I had two of my friends with me who's first impressions of TeaNY are now tainted. It was 11:30pm and TeaNY closes at midnight. Two friends and I walked in in hopes to grab a couple desserts and a latte, sit down and chat until they closed. Mind you, I've been to TeaNY even 10 minutes before closing and have been welcomed with open arms. This night however, was no welcome. The cashier immediately told us that they were closed and no longer serving food. I then negotiated with him that we only wanted to get desserts from the case, and that nothing would need to be cooked, and all this being said while there were three tables occupied by other patrons who were nowhere near finished with their meal. He said he could give us the desserts, so we were relieved and began to park ourselves at an empty table. That's when he said, "No, I can only give it to you to take out." Huh?? My friend began to state the obvious, that they had another half hour before they close, and that it made no sense that we weren't allowed service. Then in a condescending tone, the cashier "explained" to us how if it's a slow night, they're supposed to close early. This made me even angrier, especially since as I said previously, there were three other tables enjoying themselves. I won't stop going to TeaNY because thankfully, this is the only schmuck I've ever encountered there, but I can't wait to bump into the manager to let him know how me and my friends were treated that night, and how it disrupted his business.

Have you ever experienced a business playing loud yet soothing music in the background? It's quite odd. This was the first thing I noticed about Teanissimo (called Teany outside/inside the building) upon entrance on Sunday evening. The vibe, otherwise warm and cozy thanks to the small space, low lights, and plentiful candles, was ruined by the smooth, new-agey music that was blasting. Normally I would have walked right out but I had 45 minutes to kill before dinner and felt like I should give this place a shot. I ordered a chai latte (somewhere between $3-4) from the friendly guy at the counter and a few minutes later he brought it to me at my table. I've only started drinking these regularly and therefore am no chai expert by any means, but I was very disappointed. The latte was not spicy (as in it tasted like chai but didn't have the usual kick to it) and was too watery. It was also not sweetened (as I believe they usually come) nor was there sugar or honey on the table. It was not the delicious tea latte I was expecting (from a tea place at that) but I drank it anyway as I read my magazine. If the tea presentation improves and the music is turned down a notch or five, Teanissimo would be a nice, intimate place to catch up with a friend. Otherwise I'd seek out one of the other zillion cafés in the area for a relaxing drink.

This place is underrated. It is such a cute little tea shop. First of all, their selection of teas is amazing. I have had several but I love the coconut black tea. Second, their desserts have never failed me. The chocolate chip cookie with nuts, the brownie bottom cheesecake, the cupcakes, the cakes!!! My favorite is the vegan cannoli. Now, I used to hate cannolis before I was vegan but this one is just amazing. It has the perfect texture that it's not too hard but not mushy, and the cream is not overly sweet. I have never tried the food here but when I am nearby I never miss out on their delicious vegan sweets!

This used to be my favorite go to spot for vegan red velvet cake, back when it was called Teany. But the last couple of visits...WHAT HAPPENED?! Service sucked, I mean SUCKED. Our waitress acknowledged us when we walked in, but didn't bring us water or menus until we finally walked up to the counter. The salad I got was meh. Then when my boyfriend asked about the desserts, the manager just pointed to the glass display at the front counter and apathetically said, "just look over there." The three stars are for the decadent, amazing, mouth-watering vegan peanut butter chocolate bomb. I would go back and get that dessert to go next time.

Huge variety of teas! I got the standard jasmine tea and it was great. Free, endless hot water to refill your pot. My friend got a few appetizers for herself; although I didn't order any for myself, they looked delicious. Great, quiet ambiance with nice staff.

Epic fail. I guess Moby and his friend don't own it anymore. The service was always weak, now it's intolerable. Avoid at all costs.

It took 25 minutes for them to finally acknowledge me after taking other people's order that came in after me. The service here SUCKS but their food is good. I doubt they even read these reviews because nothing has changed.

  • Dan T.

Let's get the service out of the way first. It's a vegan restaurant and I have yet to find a vegan restaurant with good service, it seems to be in the DNA (before I start getting hate mail my vego other half agrees) so no one should be surprised it's not up to par. Maybe it was because we were in a relaxed mood and not in a hurry but we found the service more comically bad (ala Fawlty Towers) than frustrating and annoying. I mean what do you do when the waitress realises that you've been sitting for 30 minutes without any water and brings you one glass. To be fair it was the waitresses first day (or so she said) and she was working both inside and outside. But the food is pretty good and this coming from a self-confessed carnivore. We walked by looking for a brunch venue and I was feeling generous so offered to go there with the vego. I had the breakfast wrap nice sized toasted wrap filled with scrambled eggs avocado jalapeno beans and more... The vego had the BLT with fake bacon made from tempeh except they didn't have any fake bacon so they used fake ham instead. The wrap was delicious and i'm pretty sure it was healthy and the vego was happy with her HLT. For those of you wondering yes I had to try it to see what the ham was like and it did taste like ham if a little weak... Overall you get what you expect average service but healthy, good value and tasty food in a relaxed venue with nice outdoor seating.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Got an almond milk latte the size of a soup bowl and the vegan BLT is to die for! So delish. The neighborhood is so cool too.... and from what I remember this place is owned by none other than the infamous MOBY! How cool can you get?! Also, another important tid-bit, for all you tea lovers out there they have a menu that would make anyone giddy. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options... all very good. Nice atmosphere and service. Very cozy too. Overall great place!

Came with with 3 of my girlfriends after dinner. Two of the girls ordered sangrias since it was 2 for 1 and they were pretty good. My other friend and I ordered teas. I had the ginger peach white orange something tea.. (long name) and my friend ordered a vienna tea.. can't recall the exact name. I loved hers so much I bought some to go.. It was delicious! It was like sipping on caramel/toffee water! But not too sweet at all. We also ordered a cherry cheesecake and that did not disappoint. The service was okay. It wasn't busy so our server was always on her phone. Can't ask for much though! It's a small neighbourhood joint!

  • Damon A.

Meh. It's vegan and stuff, but the place doesn't look that clean. The music is super annoying and in your face. The food was ok I guess, I had the jalapeño egg sandwich and the mushroom soup. It tasted ok, nothing like to rave about or anything. Disclaimer: I'm a huge carnivore! :D

My cousin and I were in a random mood and craving some tea. We were looking for a classic "Pinkys up" kind of experience and stumbled upon Teanys. The place had a nice feel. Cool and relaxing colors & some interesting appropriate music. The quality was nice it the good was fresh. I would def visit again in the near future. The shop had a quaint front seating area. Perfect for a nice spring day. Nice please to have tea. Not your classy "Pinkys up" tea setting but It had a modern twist on a classic concept.

This place is likely not owned by Moby anymore and instead they now have a bigoted Italian running the place. I would say to avoid this place at all cost, unless you need a laugh or feel like punching someone in the face. We were meeting a friend here for some vegan dessert and tea. But before our friend makes it over, we already have a huge run-in with the guy running the place. He is playing terrible 80s music with Paula Abdul, Phil Collins, etc. Humming annoyingly to himself and by the way he is acting, he is on something. Here is the conversation that ensues: Waiter: Can I get you both something? My date: Yea, I would like the death by chocolate cake and the White Monkey King tea. Me: (Points to date and asks him to order for me) My date: (He orders a Rooibos tea of some sort) Waiter: You dating her? You like it? Do you speak ASIAN? My date (pretty angry at this point): Do you speak EUROPEAN? Waiter: No, I don't speak European... My date: I'm dating her cuz she saved my life, she is an ER doctor! Whoa, all I can say is AWKWARD. But the funny thing is, we don't get up to leave. We just hang around and wait for our friend to join us. Then we relay the story back to her also. She is laughing hysterically at the whole thing. And the whole time, the waiter just kept calling me, "doctor." What a weird experience. But if I'll say, a truly classic NYC moment. You just can't make up these crazy interactions.

I've been here a few times because it's in my neighborhood and they have REALLY fast wifi (10x faster than Starbucks around the corner). The food is decent, although it doesn't seem super fresh (sort of like it's been sitting around for a while). The OJ is delish. You can expect the typical aloof New York service, but the restaurant is "teany" so it's not hard to flag someone down. If I wasn't such a carnivore, I'm sure I'd visit this spot more often.

  • Kayleigh W.

I've given this place several chances because I really wanted to like it. Not only is this spot two blocks from my apartment, it has a cool vibe and the owner is incredibly friendly. That being said, I was preeettty taken aback by my last couple of experiences. To note, Teany's is really small, so even when it's full (which never happens), it shouldn't take much effort to make sure all tables are tended to. We were one of 3 tables around noon on a Saturday and I literally had to walk up to the front counter to get our waitress' attention. By the time our food arrived, we were starving and promptly dug in.....BIG mistake. Two bites in to my salad, I noticed a red fuzz was covering my greens. I said something to my friends, and they too started finding bits of red fuzz throughout their salads. GROSS. Our waitress took the entrees off of our bill, but we were all sick to our stomachs the rest of the afternoon. Bad experience #2: My friend and I were desperate for dessert at 9 p.m. on a Sunday when most places were closed. Teany's was still open, so we popped in to check out the menu once more. Ice cream caught my eye. Ice cream is safe, right? Nope. Wrong. I ordered two scoops of hazelnut for $3.50 a scoop and was literally served two spoonfuls of melted cream in a glass cup. I ate the entire thing in 10 seconds....and I wasn't racing my friend. $7 for some flavorless mush. Super. I was rooting for you, Teanissimo....wudda shame.

I could write a serious novella on how many subpar experiences I've had at Teany... err, rather, "Teanissimo" as it is now called. I've lived in the neighbourhood for over a year and have eaten in/ordered out from them at least a 15 times (i.e. I have given them 15 actual chances to deliver, at least, a halfway pleasant experience - it's NEVER HAPPENED). There has been something wrong with my order EVER SINGLE TIME I've ordered from them - no joke, literally every single time. The main recurring issue is that my meal is never vegan, even though I've specified it to be so. I've been given regular milk in coffees/tea multiple times after explicitly ordering almond. This kind of stuff is a forgivable first, even second, maybe even third offence - but after happening 10 times in a row (literally) it's time for me to stop patronizing this establishment. The absolute last straw was when my wife and I dined in for lunch about 2 months ago. There were 2 other occupied tables in the otherwise completely empty restaurant (i.e. it was not busy at all). We ordered our drinks and food right away, and waited patiently. That's when things started to get a little unsettling, as 15 whole minutes had gone by without even getting a glass of water. The waitress seemed to be preoccupied with gossiping with/reprimanding the kitchen staff. Soon enough our food was delivered, sans beverages. When I asked when our coffee would be delivered the waitress seemed frazzled, ran back to the kitchen, and filled our coffee cups up with barely lukewarm coffee (no apology or explanation for the wait). We decided to cut our losses and drink/eat what had been given. In a strange twist of fate, towards the end of our meal my wife accidentally dropped her coffee cup on the floor, breaking it to pieces. Apparently this is what it took to finally get the server's attention, as she ran over immediately and asked what had happened. My wife apologized to which the ghetto-mouthed server said, "you're lucky that's not one of our nice mugs - otherwise you'd owe us for it and they're not cheap." I decided this was an opportunity to express my dissatisfaction with our visit and asked for our coffees to be taken off the bill. She refused, so I asked to speak with the manager. He conveniently wasn't there. We settled our tab, vowing never to return again. Ultimately this place serves VERY overpriced faux-vegan meals that are equivalent to what I could make on my own with ingredients from the corner store. There was also an occasion where I found a live grasshopper in my salad and was given a 30% discount (how generous). Gone are the days in which I torture my soul by visiting Teany... Teanissimo. Whatever the f*@! it's called.

A quaint little spot with comfortable seating including outside tables. The teas are very good and they have A LOT of flavors to decide from. The desserts are nice. The meals themselves, however, are not that special. I've been here twice for a late breakfast/early lunch and both times the food was just okay. It's definitely not a place I would go out of my way to eat at, but because it's only a few blocks from Mooshoes I stopped in here. Would I give it a third try? Probably not.

I had checked this place out before coming here and it looked good! Upon arriving I looked over the menu to make sure a particular item was present and it was listed. When I asked the waitress she looked at me like I had ten heads and emphatically stated: "We don't have that!" I pointed out to them on the menu and promptly left.

I love their vegan food, but their service often sucks, and I always leave hungry.

Seriously, Don't order delivery from this place!! I was super excited to try this place out because I love finding new Vegan options. Unfortunately I had a really awful experience. An hour after I placed my order I got a call saying that the delivery girl was having trouble finding my apartment so I gave really clear instructions of where I live. This is the first time a delivery person has had trouble finding my place because it is in a really simple location but fine.. she needed some extra help. A half hour later my food still hadn't arrived so I called the restaurant to see what was up. The girl on the phone told me that the delivery girl rang my doorbell and no one answered -_- I told her I was sitting right near the door and that obviously isn't what happened. I suggested that the delivery girl couldn't find my apartment so she gave up and no one bothered to call and tell me. She finally caved and told me. Like... are you kidding me? I wait 90 minutes for my food and no one bothers to call me to say it isn't coming and then you lie and make it seem like it's my fault that my food didn't arrive. The girl on the phone was so rude and disrespectful, I couldn't believe it. I worked To-go in a restaurant and I can't imagine being such a bitch to a customer. I am so shocked... She really snottily agreed to send out my food again, this time they seemed to have no trouble finding my apartment... When the food came it was cold and hard. The "side salad" was actually just a couple of pieces of wilted lettuce. tl;dr - I finally got my food 2 hours after I placed my order. It was cold and soggy. The girl working there is a total bitch.

Vegan hot chocolate made with Nesquick? Come on. This place sends the wrong message about veganism and it's not even vegan. It sucks. Lousy in every way.

I agree w/ all the 1 star reviews and think that anything above 1 star is written by the owner. Lived in the hood for 10 years and I can't believe this is one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Definitely not a vegetarian or vegan cafe. It's all fake, including the "baked eggs" that are actually microwaved. When I tried asking the owner, he said they we're scramble. The server admitted that the manager microwaves everything. I highly doubt that anything is even organic or natural as advertised. Stay away if can and go to Innoteca.
