Food is barely OK. Restaurant was freezing cold, wait staff was nice but not attentive, food is poor. How can you ruin guacamole ? It was thin and soupy and no flavor. To me, this is a staple of a Mexican restaurant. If you can't do that right go home. The prices are expensive for the amount you get. They emptied the keg for the beer we wanted and made it clear they weren't going to open another. The topper was at the end of the meal when we ordered fried ice cream. First off, the waitress gave us our check without even asking us if we wanted dessert. It was not edible. I have never in my life sent something back but I had to. I took one bite and could not eat it. I'm not sure if the ice cream itself was old but I believe it was the oil they fried it in hadn't been changed in quite some time. It literally tasted like someone mistook the garlic powder shaker for the sugar shaker. Awful! Won't be going back here.

Great Mexican restaurant in downtown Elmira. I enjoy dining there with my family when I come to visit Elmira. They give you free chips with salsa every visit. The waitresses are also very friendly.

Honestly, I've never gone here when it's busy so I can't be a fair critic when it comes to service. They've always been attentive to my table and the waitress is always around so I've never had an issue personally. But I've only ever gone on weekday nights so the service is great since it's not packed. That being said, I think the food is great! I'm from LA originally, and I think their flavor profile is more or less on point from what I'm used to there. Their enchiladas are the perfect amount of tangy that I love, and their fajitas pack a lot of savory flavor. Definitely worth the price especially if you get their large dishes and take the leftovers home. You get like 2 meals in one when you order the larger dishes. 11 bucks for 3 huge enchiladas? Oh yes. Their beans and rice are pretty fair too, nothing fantastic, but they aren't lacking and get the job done. Overall I'd give them a 4/5. The atmosphere is a little odd, but the service has always been great and the food is consistently good. Definitely will go back soon!

The chicken tacos (fried corn tortillas) are really good. Get two of them. With a blackberry margarita. You won't be sorry.

Cinco de Mayo. Drinks were great! Food was ok. Service was pretty slow. The server was overwhelmed. I've been here before, and it was good. Maybe they were a bit shorthanded

This was the WORST "Mexican" food I have ever eaten in my entire life. Their tortilla chips tasted like fake, stale crackers. They definitely came out of a bag. I think communion chips taste better. The salsa had NO flavor. It was simply canned tomatoes poured into a bowl (out of a can I am sure). The chicken and beef entrees had zero flavor. We asked for hot sauce and they had none. WHAT? A Mexican restaurant with no spice? Oh wait, I think they had Tabasco, which is a shame to serve in a Mexican restaurant. We had our beers and left everything on the table. What a waste of $50! That's right, the food isn't even cheap. I know Mexican food is not supposed to even be good in NY, but this was an absolute insult. No, I take it back, the final insult was that they had no guacamole. I do not recommend this place to anyone, unless you want to go for laughs to see how NOT to cook restaurant food.

Fair. Not as good as Garcia's in Elmira Heights.

Ok, so it's not AUTHENTIC Mexican.. but it's good food at a great price. I was thoroughly pleased. Though I am someone who cannot handle much spice, so I was thrilled at the lack of spice in their dishes.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
