The burgers, dogs, and fries are all definitely very tasty and freshly made, but the only issue is that every time I come here, I end up waiting twenty to thirty minutes for my order. Even if I order online, I end up waiting fifteen minutes or so past the time it was supposed to be ready. Otherwise, the food is greasy, deathly, and excellent.

For what it is: cheap, greasy, triple by pass surgery needing food, Five Guys delivers. The burgers at 5 guys are amazing, no matter what arrangement of toppings you put on your delectable burger it sure to please the pallet. One of the only "flaws" to five guys is the relatively long wait compared to other fast food joints, but this only pays testament to really how fresh these burgers are. The fries are decent at 5 guys but they do not live up to the pedigree of the burgers. They tend to get soggy and are hit and miss, but in the scheme of things the fries suffice as a good side. This particular 5 guys location is clean and the staff is friendly and on their game, highly reccommended!

Five Guys Burgers rocks! Some of the best burgers and fries around! You can get any toppings you like for free. I've been to this location a few times and it's never crowded.

Five Guys burgers are definitely way better than the burgers you get at McDonalds or Burger King. Unlike the angry workers at most franchise fast food eateries, the staff here are attentive and very eager to help. Parking is abundant since Little Neck Plaza provides a whole parking lot reserved for customers. When eating at Five Guys, complimentary peanuts and toppings are pluses. Their juicy burgers are neatly packed in aluminum foil, their toppings are available for order on the side, and they are very generous when it comes to fries. On days when I have a small appetite, the "little" burger with one patty is enough. Vice versa, hungry days call for the regular burgers with two patties.

Okay, I'm somewhat broken hearted about slamming this location. But the nonsense that has ensued has given meno other choice. The food at this location is excellent, so that is not the problem. The fries are crisp and the burgers are juicy and flavorful. They do offer the free peanuts, so you have something to munch on while you wait. My problem with this location is the poor customer service. The previous 3 times they have made my experience so awful, the food ended up tasting blah. I always call ahead to make an order so I can walk in, pay and pickup food ASAP. The first time, I called the store and they placed me on hold for 23 minutes. During that time, I drove from the Bronx side of the Whitestone Bridge to the front door of the Five Guys. They didn't pick up, and when I asked for a manager upon arrival, the manager told me I was dumb for wasting my minutes trying to order. The last time, they only prepared half of my order and then argued with me if I wanted my French fries. As you can tell, I wouldn't recommend this location.

Clean and quick. Free peanuts are always a plus while you wait for your burger to be done cooking (takes about 5-8 minutes).. The "little" burgers = 1 patty...which is just the perfect size to prevent any major food coma after lunch. I am not really a big fan of their fries though, with and without seasoning. I wish the seasoning here was like Arby's delicious curly fries. If this was the case, I'd be at Five Guys weekly....and I'd be chubs. Not in the cute cherub way.

Ladies behind the counter were very friendly and made my kids happy. That alone will keep me coming back. Burgers were nice and juicy as always.

Good burgers, decent timing, and peanuts are a great snack. Also right next to gamestop if your interested.

The best five guys i'be been to. Never mess up our orders and always hook you up with the extra bag fries. The staff is so friendly and nice too. We always see the same guys working there every time we go

This is a burger joint. The quality here and at most Five Guys is great. Usually there isn't much that differentiates one with another. They all have more or less the same layout, same food, same everything. But I rate this place "4 stars" (which is pretty high) because of the people and service. The people are really great, easy to talk to and they service you 100%. No complaints, and extremely polite. Overall, a really good establishment. Hope the service and food quality keep up.

I'll admit I haven't been to another Five Guys location, but it's hard to complain about this one. Sure the food is more expensive than McDonald's, et. al. That's because it's BETTER! Not only that, but even a Little Bacon Burger will keep me full for 12 hours. So ordering a meal at this place is actually like ordering two meals for the price of one. The fries are crisp and delicious, free refills. Everything tastes so much fresher than at most other burger joints. They even have a white board on the wall that shows where the day's potatoes were imported from. No complaints about the service. As of yet, I have not tasted a better burger than Five Guys.'

I still have my reservations about this place. It doesn't seem like its 100% clean despite its A rating. I have been here twice so far. The burgers to me are just average not awesome for the price. I think the big plus about this burger joint is the over load of french fries. No matter what size you order they always give you extras and lets not forget about the free peanuts! The kids love this place so I'm sure I'll be back!

I used to be a regular here. Until the worker let a pigeon into the store (literally opening the door for a pigeon standing outside the door) She then proceeded to whack the poor creature with a broom which caused the bird to flap its wings all over our food and our heads. Never went back again. I understand this was probably a rare occasion, but I really felt the workers there handled the situation very poorly. I must also mention this happened over a year ago. but it remains freshly engraved in my mind.

I live very close by and have been here many times. I never thought the service was bad and have been treated well by all the workers I've encountered. I absolutely adore the cajun fries in any Five Guys so there's that. I love that there's a huge parking lot and after Chipotle and Petco came in, I'm starting to really like our little plaza here.

I think this is the best Five Guys location I have visited. The service was particularly fast, and the food that we received was really well put together, and not very greasy. I've gotten some soggy burgers at Five Guys before, or sandwiches that are just more of a ball of everything put together, but the bread on these burgers wasn't greasy. And I had lots of pickles spread out nice and evenly on top. The fries were also extra crispy, which was absolutely fabulous. Sometimes they are a little too squishy but these were well done and I love that. Plus the dining area was super clean, as were the bathrooms.

Burgers are great, with many toppings to add. The service is good and they give extra fries in the bag. Relatively clean

Really good burgers that are really cheap. Very crowded most of the time. Their burgers are very cheap, especially $5.99 for a double burger. Unlimited toppings!!! My perfect burger is a double with lettuce, grilled onion, pickles, and ketchup. Great atmosphere, very lively. Perhaps one of the greatest burgers around. Decent service, respectful, quick, and accurate. Their fries are crispy, not too greasy, and taste really fresh.

An average five guys, but one of the only ones in the region. Love the cheeseburgers for a fattening dinner and the fries come plenty! The whole peanut thing is a cute idea and I love that they tell you where they get them. The burgers are good and greasy and made in front of you. The food isn't too expensive and its all pretty big and filling. Service is average and you could probably get the same thing in every five guys

So I wen to Five Burgers for the very first time on 1 condition. I was super hungry! The minute we walked in, I knew we had made the right choice. I watched the faces of the customers as I walked to the back of the restaurant to get on line. Everyone was happy with their burger, fries or fries and hot dog. Seriously elatedly (if that's even a word) happy. Those who didn't have their food yet were snacking on the free peanuts. Upon speaking to the cashier it was evident I was a first timer. She asked would I like a little burger and my reply was, "Do I look like I eat little burgers?" Poor thing had to explain to me that a little burger is a single. I laughed and asked for the works (sans mushrooms, yucko). The burgers are made fresh to order and the wait was about 10 minutes. It was worth it! My burger was juicy and hot! Messy and totally delish! Yummy to no end! The fries were delicious too! The homemade flavor was right on point! The only draw back was sitting near the door which brought a breeze each time a new customer came in or one left. However, I will definitely be back to a Five Burger sometime soon! PS They have sweet tea! Definitely a plus!! :)

It's Five Guys. Great burger & great fries, enough said. The dining area of this location is spacious enough to accommodate a large crowd which, unlike the other location at the Bay Terrace, is not a regular scene anyway. Free peanut is always a bonus because it's my favorite snack. Friendly service too.

I come here every Friday after school with friends and always have a good time. The food and staff is excellent. And plus who can say no to free toppings. And when you tell them to put extra toppings they make sure you get extra!!

This is at the bottom of my burger places....only because the two times that I have been here I just felt so greasy and gross right after. eeeh. It's not worth it at all but you get free peanuts lol.

It had peanut shells and the employees were having a little fight but overall the food did what it had too and we didn't get sick... I live all the fries.

We've been to this location several times and its always been good. Burgers taste great and the fries are exceptionally good. A burger place offering grilled onions is always top notch for me. The location kept very clean. The wait for a burger should be about 8-10 minutes. Plenty of parking available. I just Five Guys would add shakes to their menu.

  • Ashley B.

Five Guys is a step above fast food....delicious, made-to-order burgers at a very cheap price. All their toppings are free which is pretty awesome considering they have mushrooms, peppers, grilled onions, etc. You have to wait for a little while because they actually cook the burger after you order it, but its definitely worth it. They have other stuff like hot dogs and grilled cheese, but I've never had. Minus a star because both fries (the regular and the cajun style) are just eh. They aren't bad, just not great. The portion size is crazy though, one order of fries is definitely enough for two.

This location is inside a shopping plaza and has ample parking. The burgers are good but i dont feel you get enough choices other than all the toppings you want. Clean location and alot of seating.

Loved it. I had been hearing about Five Guys for a long time and finally had the opportunity to try it last night. Essentially your choices are a cheeseburger (2 patties and toppings) little cheeseburger (1 patty and toppings) or a hot dog. They also have grilled cheese and vegetable sandwiches as the token vegetarian items, but to be honest, I would seek those options elsewhere if that's your thing. Your vegetables or sandwich might end up being fried in beef fat which is ideal in my opinion, but bad for you. As for the beef, the patties are all fried to order on a big flat top griddle. The french fries, skin on, are done perfectly and you can choose from regular or cajun seasoned. They have baskets upon baskets of blanched potatoes and then they are fried to order. Nothing at this place sits under heat lamps, which is ideal for fast food. If you can finish the regular cheeseburger, which is really a double, and a small fry, I truly commend your eating ability. I could never imagine getting the large fry because when the serve you, they fill up a cup with fries, put it in a bag, and then toss even more fries on top. It's easily enough for 2 people. The staff were all extremely pleasant, and they even asked if I wanted my onions grilled or raw on the burger. I thought that was quite nice and thoughtful of them. Definitely check this place out as an alternative to other fast hamburger spots.

OK but very expensive...They do give you alot of fries and free peanuts, but why do I need peanuts when I'm trying to get a burger and fries ???

Five Guys is the best burger CHAIN around. This is one of their newer locations and it lives up to the pedigree. Fresh made juicy burgers offered with a fantastic selection of toppings. Pair that with a huge heap of hot fries and you have got yourself a winner. The only downside to this location is the parking lot, which is a total mess. Prices are higher than fast food. But this is not McDonald's, this is not Burger King. This is a chain which delivers to the goods.

I was curious to know if you could request your burger to be cooked medium or medium rare and I was shocked when the manager told me all their burgers are cooked WELL DONE! I know some people who like it that way, but not me. 5 Guys (not just this location) breaks every rule in making a juicy burger. As I was watching them "burn" my hamburger way beyond well done, I couldn't believe what they were doing. After putting a fresh (not frozen) burger on the grill, they smash it down with a metal weighted tool (I don't know what you call it). It's used to cook it faster. But, what it really does is drain all the juices out of the burger. Has anyone seen Bobby Flay talk about this? He says it's the worst thing when you press down on the burger. He also says you should cook a burger on one side and them the other... and that's it! Well, I watched the guy flip and flip and flip and flip, each time pressing down on it to cook it faster. But then he did the absolute worst thing... He used his metal spatula and "CUT" into it to see if it was well done enough. He was doing this to ALL the burgers on the grill. They were cooking them so long that the outer edges were curling up! Now, I will say that it's nice that you can pick any toppings, which is included in the price, but for the price they charge, it's not really free. In my opinion, there isn't much taste to the burger itself and the fact that they cook them all well done makes it taste in even worse.

Finally putting a Five Guys this close to me, is both a blessing and a curse. I used to have to put in a 25 min one way drive if I really had a craving for Five Guys and now it's less than 10, which is way easier but only makes me want this unhealthy food more often! Basically any and all toppings they offer are free, which is great. The classic burger toppings are very good, as well as doing grilled mushrooms and onions instead. I usually opt for the little cheeseburger as it's one patty and that in combination with the ridiculous amount of fries in the regular order is plenty! I'm a fan of both the regular and cajun fries though with the cajun expect to go through a ton of napkins and have the seasoning pretty much get everywhere. If you do take out, be warned: the fries will get soggy from the heat and steam but I find them to still be very good anyway. Burgers are super juicy and flavorful, which is why I wouldn't really call this place "fast food"...well that and the fact that they make your food to order which can take up to 15 mins sometimes. Being an impatient person as I am, despite this, it's totally worth it for the taste and freshness. Expect to spend somewhere around $10 a visit per person which, considering the freshness and portion size, is actually really good. Also, they provide peanuts while you wait which people really love but I say skip em, save room for the burger and fries, you'll need it!

Top notch fast food chain. Fries are endless. A little salty, but the Cajun fries can be a little too much sometimes. If your looking for a filling meal and don't count calories once in a while then you want to give 5 Guys a shot.

I've never heard of this burger chain until recently, and when I found out they opened one in Littleneck, I had to check it out. The fries were fried properly, old school french style, blanched then finished in peanut oil. Fresh cut potatoes. The burgers... one price, all the toppings you want for free. The first bite was like tasting a burger for the first time.

  • Amy C.

Just a place to go and say I've tried it. I like the fact that you can add whatever you want in the burger. Same thing goes for the hot dog. They also have a box full of peanuts that you can scoop up for free to chew on while you decide what you want on your burger.

Since my cousin couldn't believe I hadn't been here since it opened so close to my house, I made a pit stop to try it out. I have never been to any Five Guys. I didn't know what to expect. I got lucky, there was nobody on line so i got to order right away. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a reg. fries. The guy told me it was 10 and change. I then looked at the prices. I think they charge a little much for not so fast food. 6.95 for a bacon cheese burger, should be more like 4.50. And they should have a smaller portion of fries for like 1.25. The burger was pretty damn good and the reg. fries portion size is redonkulous but I just dont see myself efforting a trip back.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
