There's a bar area, a restaurant area, and a pizzeria. I can say the beer is pretty good. The food is pretty good, though not imaginative; just a step above a regular bar menu. Given that it's not a huge town, it's not surprising this place fills up fast. If you are new in town and looking for a quick, safe, easy bet, this is it. If you are looking for a place to watch The Game, this is not it; the TVs in the bar area are small and out of the way, pretty much afterthoughts.

Well their reuben is pretty awesome and their Arroyo Amber Ale is pretty darn tootin. Whenever I head up to Farmington for business I usually eat here and run into all the big wigs in town. The menu warns customers on the front page: "You can have it your way but you cant have it right away." It goes on to explain how it isn't a chain restaurant and with all good things you must wait... but I have never had to wait. Service is always prompt and the staff is super friendly.

Just like it says, "Yay! I'm a fan." I had the IPA... It was choice. I also had the frickin' "Dante's Inferno" Pizza which I loved so much I now crave it and dream about eating another one again. Oooh the Habeneros and the shrimp and cilantro.... Damn fine Pizza. The place is freakin' cool too with a badass mural on the wall with neato graffiti art. A jumbotron TV in the back which is good for Football games. The only problem I had there was the frickin' "Carpenters" playing on the satellite radio. That shit sucked. The dude that made my Pizza was super cool too. I think he was maybe an owner or something like that. Don't forget to ring the bell on your way out the door. Cheers

The GF and I arrived at her sister's home on a chilly Monday night in November 2010 a bit pekish, so we inquired of the brother-in-law for an establishment to visit for good eats. After reviewing a couple of the options (a greek joint, southwestern mex, etc.), to our delight, we settled on Three Rivers. Three Rivers is gastropub that would be on par with joints in San Francisco. I had a flight of beers that ranged from the Berry Confused to a Scottish Oak. The GF opted for a micro-brewed soda, which was amazing. I think we'll swing by for a gallon before we head out of town. For dinner we exchanged halves of a bison burger and delectable drunken beef sandwich. The onion rings and fries that accompanied our sandwiches were good. Bonus, it was Monday, so burgers were 1/2 off. I think I can easily say this is the best gastropub in Farmington. Please make sure to drop by for a pint and bite when you hit main street in Farmington, NM; check their web site for the specials to save some duckets. This was a *A Chu-E Especial Numero Dos* by Jaime Rodriguez, Jr.

I lived in Farmington for many years and this was THE place to go. Sadly they have gotten so smug in that, they think they can treat their patrons like dirt. Any complaints fall on deaf ears of the owners, and the staff is stuck up. The food isn't worth putting up with snot nosed service. We'll never go back. How sad that little town has such a big town attitude but nothing to back it up with.

Tasty, fun, reasonable prices. The seasonal Cinn Ale was one of the most magical beers I've ever tasted. Usually a wait for a pool table, but the fire pit on the patio out back is where friendships are made. Free popcorn, too. Chyeah!

Went to this one based on Yelp reviews. Very surprised that this was a 4 1/2 star recommendation. The food was pretty good, but this did not make up for the horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE service we received. I am glad that I do not live here, because I would never go here again anyway. Very sad. The food was actually pretty ok, but the dessert was a huge let down. Pretty much went a long with the service. I do not recommend this as a place to eat in Farmington.

Great food, and a cool atmosphere. Amber ale was good, porter was okay.

My friends and I stopped here during a road trip to Utah. And I gotta say. Freaking delicious brews! I got a flight of everything on tap, and I brought home a growler of the Honey Ale. Also, their wings were really good. Friend had a burger which he said was awesome. I kind of want to go back....

Very good food. Great service too; quick, friendly, etc... The drunken ribeye is only good if you like the mustard glaze on top. A colleague had the brisket and loved it! Their amber ale was very tasty! We will definitely be back when in Farmington.

Poor customer service. Will not be returning and my husband and I dined there several times a month. The management didn't mind being told that we would no longer patronize their restaurant. So, therefor, we won't. Horrible customer service, too pricey for the quality of the just okay food.

Three Rivers is one of our favorites in Farmington. Their service has always been outstanding. We've had lunch meetings, where we are on a time crunch, and the servers are always willing to accommodate and get us out within an hour. All of their food is outstanding. Salads, burgers, sandwiches, fish and chips, brisket...everything I have tried is above par. Their selection of beer is also above par. The pizzeria is excellent as well. nothing to complain about with this local joint. One of our favorite treats is their daily creme brulee, each day is a different flavor that their chef makes from scratch. So yummy. The bread pudding is also tasty

Had a green chile, pepperoni, caramelized onion and olive pizza. It was really good. Just enough heat to wake up my taste buds. The herb bread sticks were just ok. I didn't like the pizza sauce they came with. I also had a glass of Raspberry Wheat Beer that was as always outstanding. Over all the meal was a success. Will be back the next time I'm in town.

Don't judge me! I had two entrees by myself. I couldn't decide between the kobe burger or the rootbeer pork, so I got both. Both were good, not great, but certainly good enough for what I paid. Service was fine - no problems as previous reviewers have had. I skipped the dessert so you wouldn't judge me. Decor was folksy and not my style but fine.

Three Rivers and Clancy's are the two stops that may excuse a visit to Farmington. Three Rivers offers microbrews that simply do not let down. There food is better than average and at a price you won't flinch at. It is a really great place to hit up with a group and take down a brew or two. It's been said in other reviews, and it's true: the staff are awesome. One thing to avoid is the weekends, as all of Farmington try to crowd into the place. Pick a less busy night during the week. You'll get more personal service and can actually hear what your friends are saying. My microbrew of choice: Papa Bear's Golden Honey Ale

    (4)
  • Jon M.

The food here is mostly processed reheat and serve food. Most of the items on the menu that say they are homemade are not! The beer is decent but I've had much better beer from microbrewery's in Colorado especially Steamworks and Breckenridge. I'm pretty sure the fact that most people give this place 4 or 5 star is probably because they're drunk so of course anything will taste good especially deep fried food...

Fun atmosphere! Nicely decorated with old clippings from Sears Catalog and newspapers. Lots of entertaining jokes and stuff in the men's bathroom. Got there Monday for the half-off burgers! Prices good, food good. Beer good. Fajita taco salad good.

Very delicious i love going here. they have vintage metal panel ceilings and even rents out the really old apartments upstairs. They have delicious deserts and i personally love the Ruebin (cant spell that) the sauerkraut is soo good

Went here the other night with a few friends and the service was less than acceptable. In all my dining experiences I have never had such horrible service. This is sad because I have eaten here numerous times and apparently they now use "being busy" as an excuse to blatantly disregard common courtesy. I would not recommend this place unless you are wanting to be treated like crap. After trying to get the manager/owner involved in our horrible service experience, it ended in a rude letter from the owner basically stating that we were just horrible customers and that his staff never does anything wrong. Eat here at your own risk.

There is some amazing food and some pretty awesome beer here. And shuffleboard. Can't forget the shuffleboard. The waiters are super down to earth and there is usually plenty of seating. I wouldn't recommend the salads, but I guess no one comes to a brewhouse for the salads anyways! The Reuben and the burgers are probably my favorite here, although one of my friends does highly recommend the Drunken Steak sandwich. Omg, just thinking about 3 Rivers' food makes my mouth water. I also really enjoy their cider and Honey Wheat ale. You can buy yourself a mug and get 3 dollar beers in the "Mug Club." I think the mugs are $10 but regular beers are $4.50, so, really, the mug will pay for itself. But, yeah, great beer, good food, good times.

I will never look at chili cheese fries the same again. The green chili cheese fries are AMAZING. The rest of the food was pretty good as well. Unfortunately I have to minus one star because the house brewed sodas were so bad... although if I am ever in that area again, I would go back because the food makes up for it.

okay. i finally a meh kinda meal. i ordered the chicken fried steak. i eat a greasy meal once a month. and when i do my body does not like it but my taste buds sure do. there was a lot of food served on my plate but it just was not good. it was was too greasy. the chicken and even the mash potatoes. the asparagus had an over kill in oil and onions. my dr pepper was good. my wife ordered the brewhouse nachos. it was very bland and for an extra $2 you get 3 pieces of chicken. her homemade rootbeer was very good! service was great. this is been our 1st bad food experience at 3rb. we always plan on going back but i wanted to give an honest review too.

Great experience. Enjoyed the Peachy Keen beer. Hubbie had the drunken steak sandwich and said it was quite good. I had the Albuquerque Turkey sandwich and it was wonderful. Not slices of pressed turkey meat but chunks of turkey with avocado, sprouts, pepper jack cheese, and green chili sauce - beast! Highly recommend - eclectic dining area with cool wait staff.

Was in Farmington for business. Came here on my own and with coworkers. The amber ale was the best beer out of the 3 I tried (Golden honey ale and Hop Junkie). Burgers were great! I need to increase my tolerance again for spice as the southwest burger with green chili really got my mouth burning. The gourmet burger of the week that week (O'hare burger) was great- burger topped with corned beef and cabbage. The fried mac & cheese side was delicious. Was definitely crowded on Monday for 1/2 price burger night. For a group of about 15, we waited about an hour to be seated. Will definitely come back. Went: March 2015

Great artisan pizzas, a little high in the price point, but great food and access to quite a few craft beers from the Brewery next door! I'm definitely a fan of the food, though the seating and service is a bit minimalistic. Not quite cafe-style, not quite sports bar, 3RP makes up for its weaknesses in aesthetics with great food, good beer, and a decent price range. Appetizers can get a little expensive, but the individual pies are so filling and with a great variety of toppings that you pretty much don't need starters. Weekly specials during football season can bring in groups and friends and families to take advantage of the two televisions and cheap pitchers. If you're in the mood for pizza in Farmington, THIS is the best place to go~

My favorite place to dine in the 4 Corners. Creative, delicious craft beer, exquisite and gourmet food (go in for lunch or dinner on Wednesday and prepare to have your mind blown w/ one of Chef Jay's specials), and an old building with a ton of stories and character. There is always a fun and playful atmosphere among both the front and back of house staff. Also beer yoga on Tuesday and Thursday nights is a different spin on things in good ole' Farmington. A+

Stopped in for a healthy lunch because in Farmington that is hard to come by unless you go to a grocery store. Split a huge salad, chips & salsa & guac. Tasted the beer, it was ok nothing to rave about. The young native guy working the FOH was great and the owner came over and chatted it up. 4 stars for the people. More vegetarian/vegan options please.

When in Farmington is doesn't take long for an out of towner to learn that quality food is hard to come by in this town. There's a mess of poor-quality chains (which is great if that's what you're into) but good, tasty, local eateries don't make a great showing. Meanwhile, this place breaks that mold delivering a local, laid back pizza parlor that provides better than average good in a city where that feat is hard to obtain. The pizza here isn't world-class, but it's a strong average and different than your chain pizza where everything comes traditionally. Here you'll find a local flare on everything, meaning pizzas that have local ingredients (green chili, etc). You can choose for own toppings or ordered a predesigned pizza like the enchilada, which is a pizza with green chili sauce and other toppings. We came back two nights in a row, partially because most non-chain restaurants in town seemed to close before 9 and this place stayed open later. The second we tried the meatball sandwich, the family salad and chicken burritos. Honestly, the meatball sandwich was much better than we expected. Homemade meatballs, fresh cheese and a well toasted roll is a good combination. As for the burritos, they were above average for a pizza place. The meat was tender and had surprising good flavor. also, the salad isn't your typical Northern New Mexico salad with cheap iceberg lettuce. This one had fresh greens, fresh veggies and quality dressing, not the Costco style stuff. Keep in mind, they have the local brews (brewed next door) on tap. The first night we had the IPA and the second we had a honey wheat, both of which won't disappoint. By the way, they also have their own root beer that comes out of their soda machine. When in town with friends or family this is a go-to places and one of the better spots to eat in town. You'll find friendly service, affordable food and a laid back atmosphere.

Wow the Gluten Free pizza was amazing!!!! They have so many different pizza choices you will never get sick of this place. Lots of local beer as well as sandwiches so if your not in the mood for pizza you can still leave this place full.

We visited on our trip through Taos, Chaco Canyon and Antelope Canyon, AZ. We had the meatball sub, which was tender and rich. The enchilada pizza was flavorful and creative. The chicken and green chili calzone was chickenlicious :). I made my own pizza which had a red sauce, goat cheese and veggie options and it was dense and scrumptious. The beers are a unique selling point to this location - the sandstone wheat is 6/5 and the best on tap. Not to coriander-ish but light and fresh. The best spot to have a meal in Farmington and the owner was friendly and helpful.

Update: Okay....So I don't like giving really low reviews but this has to be done. Also I want to note that this review is changing because of an experience I had at the tap room side of the brewery, but I'm sure it is owned and possibly staffed by the same people. I came here the other night with some friends to play pool and get a couple of beers. It wasn't too busy. The pool tables were full, but the line at the bar had maybe 2 people in it. When I order my drink I causally asked if they made up all of their brew names because the IPA I ordered was called "IBusive Black eye" and I thought it was off and a bit distasteful. NOTE: This is my OPINION! I get it I didn't ask her to agree or DO anything about it, I just mentioned it. I think I said something like "Oh does the Brewery make up all the names? This one's kind of weird right?" She then proceed to MOCK me for being offended. She scoffed and rolled her eyes at me asking why I would take it so seriously because she thought it was "fucking hilarious." I then mistakenly confessed to her (I was trying to connect to her on a human level) that it was because it had happened to me and other women that were my friends and family. She then straight up laughed in my face then proceeded to tell her fellow bartender in order to continue mocking me for being "offended". Again this 1 star review is not because of the name of the beer or because she didn't agree with me. This 1 star review is because nobody should be treated like that, especially a customer at your establishment. Worst customer service EVER! Tl;dr disrespectful bartender doesn't know shit about being a decent human being let alone good customer service. I will not be back :p

Let's talk about the beer first, since this place is a brewery. The brews here are all over the board, with some (or most, really) being atrocious and worse than a newbies home brew, and a few being good. There was nothing great. I don't quite understand how such inconsistency could come out of a brewery that's been around as long as these guys, but then again, I have no idea how often they turnover brewers. If there was one beer that stood out to me it was Afternoon D'Light, an India Pale Lager. It was light and easy drinking while still retaining a good body and tasty, sweet floral hop flavor. I had a couple of these. I could have had the Red Apple Flyer cider in a pinch, but that I'd rather drink a cider than the other beers here is a testament to how bad some are. Take the Schnitzengiggle, a dunkelweizen that somehow was as thin as rubbing alcohol. The wheat and malt flavors this beer should have were nowhere to be found. Ditto the scotch ale, which again should be a malt heavy beer, but somehow had the consistency of a soda. Anyway, Three Rivers' redemption was the pizza we had with our beer the first night in town after a looooong day of driving. $18 got my pops and me a huge pizza with pepperoni, fresh mozz, and spicy marinara. The crust was thin and crispy and overall it was just a well-made pie. If you're coming here for beer, you'll be disappointed. If you're coming to have pizza, this place is a good stop in Farmington.

Came here on recommendation from hotel clerk after we got into town too late to eat at Ashkii's. Typical downtown brewery scene, hyped micro beers, lots of tatts but disappointing food. Fried mac n cheese terrible, chicken fried steak not good, burger would have been good if they'd known not to grill red onions. Onion rings were good so that's the pic I'll post. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I wish places like this would not rely on hype and focus on quality

Went to Zebra's for a late lunch on Saturday. I have been there before and the service and food were great about a year ago. We very disappointed with the service and food yesterday. It took the waitress over ten minutes to notice us sitting at a table. There were only two other tables occupied. She finally asked what we wanted to drink but no menu was given. We finally got our menus and ordered our food.Took almost half an hour to arrive. The nachos were average and the tortilla wrapped burger was dry and chewy. All in all the service was pretty awful and the food very disappointing. I don't know what happened but it will be a long time before I go back there again.

Not a bad place to dine at during lunch time hours, and it sure beats dining at a restaurant chain. Their menu offers a wide selection of food to choose from: burgers, soups, salads, steaks, and seafood. Here's what I ordered and sampled: +Fajita Taco Salad: Your choice of either steak or chicken -- which I chose. The salad contains grilled onions, bell peppers, mixed greens, cilantro, topped with ranch guacamole dressing, and it's served in a sundried tomato taco bowl. ( yelp.com/biz_photos/cRxx… ). The salad was OK. There were too many bell peppers, and I thought it could've tasted better without them. + Green Chile Soup: Supposedly, this is one of Three Rivers' popular items on their menu. My cousin loves this soup and said he usually orders it whenever he drops in for lunch, which I can understand why. I enjoyed the flavor of the green chilies, and the spiciness level wasn't enough to make my eyes water. It was just right.

We had chips and salsa for an app and the orders at our table included the Chicken Fried Steak, Alb Turkey Flatbread and a cheeseburger with bacon and a friend egg. Let's just say the three of us left less than impressed, unsatisfied and wishing we would have driven thru McDonald's instead. Best part of the meal was the salsa we got with our chips. My patty was small and the bun was similar to something you get with your McD's hamburger, my lettuce was not close to fresh. This place was a huge letdown...maybe their pizzeria serves better food than the brewery side of of the restaurant? I hope so.

It's Labor Day. I flew here today from Wisconsin. My work called yesterday and said get out to NM. I found this place on yelp. Awesome. This place made my night. I tried the Arroyo Amber Ale and liked it a lot. It's very drinkable. Regular ale drinkers might think it's too malty because its definitely a balanced beer. If you like a lot of hops this one might not be for you. For food I had some chips and salsa and a bowl of their green chile turkey stew. I liked both especially the stew. I plan on coming back. So for clarification I'm at the restaurant. There is also a tap room and a pizzeria. Three separate locations, same owner/business. The 3 places are right next to each other. I plan on checking out the other 2 places soon. For decor the restaurant has a historical feel. It's not a modern theme. Vintage. But nice. Service was good.

Two thumbs up for the Pizza!! Nice thin crust w/ just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Sauce has a nice bold Italian flavor. My fellow foodie friends said the shredded chicken pizza had just the right amount of spice and was super tasty. I am originally from NY & this is the best pizza I have had in NM so far!! If only the crust was a little thinner and it had more oil... che sarebbe una fetta di paradiso qui in sw! Keep up the good work TRP!!

Glad we stopped here for lunch while passing through town on a road trip. We didn't feel like beer, but we did have their homemade root beer, and it was delicious. The food also seemed good overall. I had the reuben sandwich, which was very tasty. Husband had the chicken fingers, which he also enjoyed. I liked how the meals came with different choices of sides rather than the standard fries. I had the fried mac and cheese, which was surprisingly good. Husband got sweet potato fries with him. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised!

3 Rivers is a great place The food is good and its one of those town spots that everyone enjoys My favorite thing about 3 rivers restaurant is the Monday half priced burgers You can have your burger your way I usually get the 1/3 lb burger with avocado, lettuce, tomato, provolone cheese, onions, mayo, and of course green chili the fries are yummy as well Its a brewery obvi and I usually wash my food down with a nice cold RED FLYER The red flyer ale is 3RB's red apple beer and it is delicious The hot rod is great too I have tried some of the other beers but I dont like the dark beers...

Used to think this was basically the only cool place in Farmington. Then I saw them post a picture on Facebook of some loser with his pants down rubbing his ass on a freeze frame of President Obama. I couldn't care less if the owners or whoever are republican, liberal or apolitical, but that's just disgusting and any business that thinks that is a good idea to post something like that online is just dumb. What else are they putting people's asses on -- their food? The beer? Won't ever go here again.

I have eaten at their original location a couple of times, but as they have virtually taken over a city block I decided I should try their pizzeria. It opens at 11am and is huge inside - you get to see the whole kitchen and so can watch your pizza being prepared. They have a number of unusual pizza selections you can choose from (I think I saw rib eye steak on one of them), but I decided to try (well, share with a friend) a 16" with spicy red sauce, pepperoni and green chile - always a good benchmark. They did have an alfredo green chile sauce which you could have on the base of your pizza and I would like to try that one time. There are lots and lots of choices of toppings - also you can get an individual slice, I think a 10" and a gluten free crust. You can order any of the Three Rivers beers whilst placing your order for food. The pizza didn't take long at all to be delivered to our table and it looked very "hand made" (which I think is a good thing) it was irregular and the sauce was uneven, but I like this. The spicy red sauce had spice in certain bites, but not all of them, the pepperoni was a bit bland (it could almost have been salami) the green chile was also on the muted/mild end of things. I did like the crust, not cracker thin, but not doughy - just right and it had a good crunch. I would for sure come back again, the prices were very reasonable and there are so many different toppings I would like to try. If you find yourself in/near the Four Corners area then this place is well worth checking out.

Stopped into Farmington on our road trip and this place looked like it was doing well given that they have three storefronts in a row on what appears to be the main street in Farmington, must be doing well. Inside the place had a really great decor, it was super chill with a wide variety of people in the place, and it was pretty busy for late on a weeknight when we were there. The service throughout the meal was pretty slow, especially at the end when you're waiting for the waitress to take your credit card, which is a major pet peeve of mine. The food was really really great through, we both got the same thing, a turkey sandwich which green chili and some sprouts with an awesome sauce. It was so good, a unique sandwich that had a really nice kick. The whole menu seemed full of options that sounded similarly cool, and looking around the rest of the food looked really tasty too. All-in-all the place seemed like a great addition to an otherwise sleepy town.

This is the best pizza in town! Adventurous, knowledgeable, clean and appropriately priced. Don't miss this gem in Farmington.

The beer is solid for a small town, not world class, but pretty good. I had the green chili brown ale brat with house made mustard and that is definitely worth the stop, plus they had beer and brat for 10 bucks, hard to beat that

I still have the runs after eating there at noon yesterday. Waiter suggested chicken fried steak. YUCK. I might suggest you just have water and saltines instead. Or drink kaopectate prior to going there.

The pizza was pretty good - actually very good . Taste kinda like the old pizza inn restaurants. Not too heavy, not too saucy . The price was a little high for the small size of pizza - but expected as it's on a touristy road on the way to four corners . It's a great place to stop before going that distance .

To me, this is really as good as it gets. We stopped here both on our way into Farmington, and on the way back home a week later because we knew we would get good food, good beer, and a friendly atmosphere. Our first stop in for a late lunch / early dinner, we got the Honey Bear sandwich, and an Albuquerque Turkey sandwich. One with fries, and I got the Dill potato salad. It was AMAZING. I loved the balance of dill, bacon and creaminess. It was truly surprising. Because we were starving, we also got some nachos to start out with, and the home made salsa was a stand out. We were both really impressed with the food. It seemed like virtually everything was home made - which I confirmed with the server because the salsa was to die for. I'm guessing this may mean from time to time there is some variation in food, but I will take that any day over some junk type food. The beer was good, and we left extremely full and satisfied for a very reasonable price. Second time around we got the Green Chili SW Chicken Tortilla soup and salad and a burger, also just as good as the first time around. The atmosphere of the place was also fun and kitchy. The table itself looked like it was hand made from things the owner or someone had collected, and had great references to local history and regional events. For someone not familiar with the area, it was great to see the pride and sense of humor in the place. One of the truly stand out things, was when we asked for some help finding firewood as we were heading up to Arches / Moab / Canyonlands for some hiking and backpacking. The server didn't know where we could pick up firewood, and we were trying to avoid paying $5 each for those tiny little bundles you get at Safeway. The server called over, who we thought was the manager, but ended up being the owner, John, who sat down with us and chatted about what we were doing. He told us where to get firewood, and not only that helped us out with driving recommendations to find some of the most beautiful local roads, printed out a map for us and highlighted the routes. He also suggested places in Farmington for us to visit which really opened up the town to us. What a great place. Any time I am in the four corners area, I know we will make an effort to get here and visit! Thank you so much for welcoming us and making us feel at home!

How can you serve cold marinara with a calzone? Unfriendly service and "okay" food gets you three stars.

Three Rivers is more than a pizzaria ... Next door is Three Rivers Brewery with a menu which, at first glance, may appear to be bar food, but in fact is well planned and designed with fresh ingredients. We were told that the chef was trained in Portland - thus the amazing offering.

I was traveling and stopped here for dinner. The first dish I ordered (Alb Turkey) looked so horrible I asked if I could just have a hamburger instead. Thirty minutes later they brought it out, burned black, at which point I told them just never mind, I had lost my appetite. He very rudely said "well too bad, you're paying for it anyway." Let's just say after threats of police (I didn't touch the food ) and some raised voices and him cussing me out screaming at me all the way out the door I won't be trying this place again!

Met a local friend here for dinner, after 9hrs of driving. Wish I'd made wraps for us out of the road-trip cooler instead. Of 4 diners, only one was able to eat their meal; she'd ordered a salad. The chips that came with the chips and salsa order were stale. The Albuquerque Turkey had moldy sprouts and super-hot chile (even for a born & raised New Mexican), which meant those eating it tried scrapping off all things green to eat the turkey. The Brisket & Brie quesadilla had gorganzola & blue cheese rather than brie. If the server had told me that before I ordered I would have made a different choice. Once our food came, we struggled to get drink refills from our server (perhaps she knew how bad the food was?) Ironic that the website says they will make anything they have ingredients for, all we have to do is ask. When I asked for a sandwich on the lunch menu the server completely shut me down, not even offering other options. I travel quite a bit, and make it a point to frequent local eateries. This is one I will skip from now on. Had it not embarrassed the local friend, I would have had a nice chat with the manager. Poor food and worse service? Must be why it's a brewhouse: enough beer makes everything better.

I have been a patron of Three Rivers for several years during my travels to Farmington. I'm usually very happy with their service, beer and food. However, we stopped in today in order to fill a growler for friends on our way to visit them in Utah. It was a surprise to hear that they refuse to fill any growlers other than their own, which happen to cost $14. I've visited various breweries in many states and have never come across one unwilling to fill a growler from another establishment. We drove 20 miles out of our way and still have no fresh NM beer to share with our Utah friends. I'm greatly disappointed.

Absolutely an anchor business in Downtown Farmington. I had a great salad for lunch. The owner did an extensive renovation to preserve the original architectural elements and incorporate his own interior designs in the restaurant. The decorations were collected from all over the world. Take a moment and stop to look at the beer stickers! Service was great, you can tell these people really care about the restaurant they work in.

Stopped in for a beer and a bite to eat and quickly switched gears towards their home brewed sodas. Had the Green Chili Cheese Fries and a couple of Rootbeers. Will definitely need to stop by again- and perhaps order a beer this time.

Been here a few times, and usually ordered their Drunken Steak sandwich which is apparently no longer on the menu anymore. Rather it is the steak, not a sandwich, which is a bummer. Service is pretty good too, attentive and helpful if we needed suggestions. Recently ordered the black bean burrito with chicken. Waiter said it was going to be pretty big, but with my slender self and veracious appetite...it wasn't so big. However it was pretty good and I would definitely order again. I want to try the beers, but always with family so I must wait yet again.

This review is only for the beer and the "atmosphere". My wife and I came here on a slower midweek night, and were clearly out of place. We've been to a lot of brewpubs and clearly a lot of bars, but this one felt like a locals only place as everyone stared at us as we walked in. The beer was OK, nothing spectacular but better than Bud, etc. But the guys around the bar were constantly yelling for no apparent reason, or throwing peanuts and generally acting in douche-baggery accordance. The bathrooms also had not lock on it, which didn't really make any sense either. There's a restaurant attached, and maybe that's what most of the reviews are for. But as for the bar itself, you might wanna stay away if you're just passing through.

Really enjoyed this place. I had a burger and my partner had the french dip. Both were very well done. Service was great. Tried a couple of their beers. Both were good. The Hefe IPA was amazing!

Having just stopped into town on business, I was a little worried about the culinary selections that awaited me in Farmington. Thankfully a fellow yelper directed me here and I was not disappointed. Although I am not a beer drinker, the pub also brews its own sodas which is a treat. The beer french onion soup was tasty and my simple sandwich was divine. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. I would eat here again and would also recommend it.

Three Rivers has a choice quesadilla and really great micro brews. They are on the pricey side for Farmington, but the atmosphere is cool and laid back, and the food is pretty tasty, its definitely one of a kind for this area. I wish I tried the pizzeria. The cider is quite good, and the Arroyo Amber Ale. The wheat beers are a little too wheat-y for my taste. Overall worth a trip if you're ever in town.

I say this as a native Texan, 3 Rivers's chicken fry (steak) is quite possibly the best I've ever had. I say possibly b/c I would need to bring my dearly departed g'mother back to life to be completely sure. :) The service was attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was typical brewpub-y. We were there pretty early in the evening though and the place wasn't crowded at all. Given the overall laidback vibe, I could easily see the waitstaff being a little overwhelmed if they were slammed with folks, but our visit was great. The apple cider was delish! My husband had several of their beers and even bought a growler of the Kölsch to take home (which is high praise indeed). We were both surprised at the cajones of the chef to serve brussel sprouts with red onion and fennel as the vegetable of the day, but it was very tasty and a good accompaniment to his pork osso buco. Our toddler was a big fan of the wild rice side dish. I only wish it were closer to home.

I had a bad experience the first time I went. Food and the one beer I had was great but that night wasn't. I ended up throwing up etc. I imagine it was the food. I may try it again and see what happens.

Great food and beer is a bit challenging to find in Farmington, but this place delivers! If they have the red velvet cake available for dessert, don't even think twice - it's a must! That cake will keep me coming back any time I am passing through town.
