Really good burger. I ordered the 1/2 lb burger with cheese and green chiles. Better than the local Blakes Lotaburger. $6 and change for a decent size burger. It's a small run down place with a bigger and better burger taste. I would recommend this place to those who are sick of the mainstream fast food chains.

This place is indeed unique. You have to walk in to order or drive through. You can't sit and dine in. The burgers were decent. They were not too bad at all, they are certainly a step above the fast food chains and fresher. We ordered quarter pound with Swiss cheese, bacon and mushroom. It was bigger than the regular quarter pound. Their fries were well seasoned. Crispy and fresh. I don't know if this would be considered as the best burger that I've had but certainly will pick it over the fast food chains.

Nothing fancy here, just good burgers and fries. I didn't actually go to Hometown Hamburgers - my wife and mother-in-law did all of the ordering and picking up. But I did eat HH's 1/2 lb burger with green chile and swiss (hey, it's NM and if you don't get green chile on your burger then you might as well just go to McDonalds) and it was pretty good. I also had the onion rings - standard rings, likely from Sysco - and they were also good. Fries seemed like they might have been handcut, but I can't confirm that. All in all, good burgers and fries. I would go back.

Mmmmmmmmm I'm hungry! Best burgers in town and support small business. If you don't want to wait, then call ahead for order. Usually 15 mins is all it takes if it ain't busy. Not a sit down place.

This was my second time there. Good burger, had the 1/2 pound with cheese, mushrooms and jalapeños. The burger sure beat any fast food restaurant burgers but the place could use an upgrade. it was relatively clean inside, but it is old and run down. Staff was very friendly except for one lady who has been working there both times I've gone. she seems to not like her job as she never says hello, acknowledges you or says thank you when you pay. Finally, if you're using a card, they only have one phone line which takes incoming orders and it is also the credit card machine line. I recommend that they get a second line just for the credit cards. This can cause a wait sometimes if two or three people in line are paying with a card

we ate here on 12/8/11 around 6:30 pm. first, this is not a sit down restaurant! for you first timers as we were. it is drive thru only. if you are lucky and the only vehicle there then you get to order from the window. fyi, there is no microphone or speaker to place your order. if there is a line of vehicles be patient because someone will come out to take your order. after taking your order find a parking spot on the eastside of the building. i'm serious! lol. and wait for them to bring you your order. the menu is very basic. i ordered a 3/4 lb burger with large onion rings. my wife ordered a 1/4 lb burger with regular fries. our food was good. the patties were good. the buns were a little thin and tasted okay. there was no ketchup or mustard on the burger. i guess you need to ask for condiments. the onion rings were awesome. the fries were good to but has seasoning salt on them. so after awhile it becomes too salty. but if you love salt or seasoning salt i'm sure it will be great. this was an experience! as a first timer we really didn't know what to do. dinner for two adults came out to $16. kinda steep but we didn't mind because the food quality was above average. we would consider going back.

Pretty darn good burger. I got the 1/4 pound burger with green chile. It was nice and juicy. The fried were standard seasoned fries not bad not great. They have different sizes of burgers so you can pick depending on how hungry you are. You order at the window and then they bring the food to you. It took a little longer so don't expect your food to come out McDonalds fast. For 4 burger combos and 2 kid meals was 35.00 so it is on the pricy side but it was worth it. Will stop by when in in town next.

The food is nothing special. They serve good sized burgers that make up what they lack in flavor with plenty of grease. I have ordered inside and at the drive thru. From my trip inside I learned that everything is prepared in a cramped, overcrowded kitchen and that the staff has to go outside to access the walk in.The service is friendly but very very slow, so call ahead if you decide to give this burger joint a shot.
