3 Stars: Friendly Server, Prices Too High On my last day in Farmington, I went to Blue Moon for some breakfast. The diner has a cool 50's vibe and seems to be a popular. The server greeted us quickly and was very friendly. I ordered an vegetarian omelet and substituted whole egg for egg whites. The omelet looked more like an egg scramble, but I didn't care too much, I was just happy this place was able to provide egg whites :) The other dishes were standard, pancakes, eggs, hash browns, but all were large portions. Our bill was $36 for 3 breakfast dishes; which I thought was way too high for breakfast. I did overhear some people were disappointed they stopped serving breakfast (11am), with that said, go early enough to enjoy the breakfast. I would try this place again and recommend to others.

We had a great meal. But the ice cream was to die for. It's a typical diner but the homemade ice cream is sooo good. We will go back for sure!

Tastes great but always makes me sick to my stomach. Not a great place to go for people with IBS.

Went for breakfast. Service was pretty good. My friend ordered the breakfast special and the waitress recommended the Benedict. I am a Benedict "snob" and know what it should taste like, this wasn't it!!! Not sure if they realize hollandaise is suppose to have lemons in it. It was not a bad "sauce," hence the 3 stars, but it would be nice if this is one of their best dishes that they learn how to make it. As usual, I will give it another shot at some point.

Food is good and service is always good... met the "owner", rude as all get out and I could have not pointed out he only ran my card for 9 cents for breakfast... hey man even though u were an ass to me I still made sure to pay what I owed. And YOUR WELCOME!

Went there for lunch and enjoyed the Denver Omelette. Best I've had in the area, and the server Lee-Ann was the sweetest person. Excellent customer service.

We went for breakfast. Service was excellent, friendly, and helpful. My breakfast (eggs & bacon) was really good, my husband loved his eggs Benedict. The decor and atmosphere was inviting and fun! We will definitely return!

i was told about how good this place is. well, my family, 2 adults and 1 child, went on a friday night arount 6:30pm. initially the server did a great job. but as traffic picked up we noticed that there were only 2 servers attending all the tables. to sum up the service, it sucked! we kept standing to waive our server down. and she would take awhile to bring what we asked for. some people told us the prices were expensive but we thought it was okay. dinner for 2 adults (our son ate off our plates) came out to $36 including tip. well, if the food was good then we wouldn't mind. well....the food. the food. if you like greasy, over salted meat then this is your place! i ordered the big kahuna burger. i'm not certain if this place marinates all their burger meat. but the big kanhuna is marinated and it killed the taste of the whole burger with salt. the patties are huge and are too big for the bun. the burger was too greasy. my bun fell apart. by the end of my experience i was holding the two beef patties inbetween my fingers. LOL. my wife had some new pasta dish. a dinner roll was suppose to come with the dish. the roll was m.i.a. she said the dish was good, not great or bad. the sweet potato fries were awesome. we went to celebrate our son's birthday. we told our server what the restaurant did for b-days. they offered a free sundae. we asked for one and told her that his birthday was during the weekend. the server then left. we waited for 20 minutes. good thing there was a mechanical horse to keep our child busy. we couldn't wait any longer. i caught our server near the kitchen and told her to forget the sundae. she said "oh, you wanted a sundae?" i turned and walked out. thanks bluemoon diner. i do plan on giving this place a 2nd chance.
