One thing that twisters is know is for their burritos. Even though I didn't try one I did try there California chicken sandwich. I was happy that they were not cheap with the avocado. The sandwich is a good size and it comes with french fries if you get the combo. I like it and for $7 you can't go wrong. Twisters was also famous for filming Breaking Bad. So if you're ever in the state of New Mexico its a really cool spot to stop by. They serve everything from sandwiches, breakfast, burritos, and burgers. Plus the staff is friendly and helpful.

Food and service was great. I didn't expect so much food for such a low cost. I will definitely return next time I visit Albuqurque.

One reason I love Twisters is that they will modify any order to suit me. One of my favorites: The Tuesday Special, a 4 egg green chile omelette with a free coffee. Instead of an omelette, I have the eggs basted (similar to over easy) and trade the coffee for a large drink refill. My adult children insist on going to Twisters when they visit Albuquerque. They will cater to the fickle needs of my grandchildren. The food is always excellent, reasonably priced, and it is cooked quickly to order. Oh, and don't forget the free apple bites if you can correctly answer the trivia question!

1/2 chicken burrito smothered in green chili= food for 3 days. I lived off of this when I was in college. I have since moved out of state but always make it a stop when back in alb. I love the breakfast burritos as well!

I was craving a juicy burger. I did not want a fast food one. I drove to twisters and the handmade double patty chopped green chil combo for $9 bucks is well worth it. It was juicy and it took two hands to hold on to it. Yummy is all I can say. To top it off they had great customer service. All the employees greeted me and it looked like they were happy to be there. They cheered eachother on. It was clean and very welcoming. They were quick at getting everyones order including the drive thru. As I was leaving they all said good bye and opened the door for me. Service is great and I will go back there.

The manager took our order but was rushing us and seemed irritated. We ordered a smothered burrito, taco, and green chile cheese fries. The food came out quickly and was delicious! Drive thru seemed to be running a little slow.

This is definitely my favorite twisters in town - they make the #3 burritos with the perfect balance of eggs, cheese, and potatoes, topped with the best tasting green chili of all the chains too. How can one chain restaurant be different from another? Well I'm sure the cook at this location knows how to make a good overstuffed burrito!! Some of the other locations will skimp on the potatoes and green chili - not this one!! I always try to come to this location if I can, even though the Copper and Juan Tabo one is closer to my house. *** The basket of fries is extremely large and decently good, although the apple bites (free with correct answer of the trivia question) are terrible - LOL - but still taste "good" if they're free. There's hardly any apple inside.

Twister #7, 2809 Juan Tabo NE 87112 505-296-1575 Ordered the chicken burrito 1/8 to go. Ordered the sauce on the side, what was inside was very little. Curly fries, when you open the burrito you have to hunt for chicken and beans. Very little of each. Do yourself a favor and don't bother with this place. Go to the pizza place across the street, or the Churches Chicken,anyplace but Twisters on Juan Tabo and Candelaria. This place SUCKS!!!

Over the Thanksgiving holiday I had occasion to have brunch here twice and I am really so impressed. This is a (local?) chain with an extensive menu and the nicest staff ever. The price is so reasonable and the quality of the food was very very good. The burritos were wonderful, either hand-held or "Stuffed" I think the term is. The scrambled eggs inside tasted wonderful. My only real complaint is that the food did not come out as hot (temperature-wise) as I would have liked even after they remade one for me). And I do wish they would grill the burritos after they assemble them ( but of course before saucing/cheesing them). I will definitely return to get my fix of N.M. food again.

Good food and good variety. I've gotten both breakfast and regular burritos at this location, and most everything has been very good. The employees are great and friendly too. The New Mexico Chicken Sandwich is good too. Not a big fan of Twister's hamburgers though.

This is the Twisters I go to nearest to my house. The employees always make it known that they're there to make sure you have everything you want and to make sure the food is great. It's always a toss-up between the burrito, green chile stew or chicken enchiladas when I go there.
