Could there possibly be a best Starbucks? This staff is so on task an so gracious, they are in the running. Lucky to have two Starbucks within a mile from my place. This location is a bit of an oasis with it's Central Ave location, Wi-Fi in a busy part of town. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Last chance to get your serious caffeine fix before heading out of town eastbound on I-40. Use exit 167 and go south on Tramway. Continue past Central and turn right to enter the first driveway past the corner gas station. The store faces west, and is snugged into a strip mall located in the (NE section of the) shopping plaza you've just entered on the SW corner of Central and Tramway. There's no drive through, but you can get easy access to return to I-40 via a driveway (on the left side of the store) up the hill leading to the corner (cheap) gas station. This is hard to see due to the hilly nature of the site. It's nice when businesses allow parking areas to connect so drivers don't have to exit onto busy streets just to enter the next driveway. I found it very clean, very busy, with nice employees and nice customers. The restroom was spotless. The mild-mannered panhandler outside front door did discourage any use of the outdoor seating. I expect the presence of an ultra cheap motel across the boulevard makes panhandlers unavoidable here (a societal issue that can't be ameliorated by management). Just keep your valuables out of sight and lock your car.

The employees here were the best ever the day I visited. On a road trip east to Chicago, I had stopped in Albuquerque for the night. The next morning, it seemed like it was taking me forever to get back on the road again. Not any traffic problems, just one of those mornings that seemed to be keeping me in town. After two hours of going in circles, I decided that the only way to regroup was to start the day all over again. So I stopped at this Starbucks on my way east out of town. When I went to pay for my coffee with my Starbucks phone app, another glitch, my online account appeared to have been wiped out. I mentioned to the young lady at the cash register that it wasn't surprising since that was how my morning had been going since I got up. She told me not to worry, and that the coffee would be her treat - well, probably a Starbucks' customer service treat ;-) Of course, that small incident helped to re-align the stars that day, putting a good feeling in me, and helping me restart the day. I wish that I had gotten her name, but whoever she is, if she remembers me, please be sure to know that I really appreciated that little act of kindness for the rest of my trip. Starbucks truly does care about their customers.

I had a latte here that ws actually well balanced and so, here's my review. It's another Starbucks. Their coffee tastes the same as the other ones. It's mediocre.

I stopped at this Starbucks as i was driving back home on I40 and found that it was slower than most Starbucks that i had been too. other than that it was just as good as any other.
