I enjoy sonic. Whether it's sitting at a stall or driving thru sonic has something for everyone. No it's not healthy and they offer very few healthy choices. But for a treat sonic is a good choice lots of fried foods and ice cream treats. Enjoy!!

As another said, just can't beat a half priced shake (after 8pm!). Not a fan of fast food, but I'm always a fan of good service, which is what you'll find at this NE location. I had an issue with the computer not properly calculating the 1/2 price discount. the young man helping me was very quick to rectify the mistake, was super friendly & apologetic about it, made a fan out of me, I'll go back to this location anytime.

This Sonic has been very hit-or-miss with its food. I've had burgers with old lettuce on it, creating a very nasty taste. The fries & tots frequently seem like they had been pre-cooked and dropped back in the oil to be slightly warmed before serving. The rest of the time the burgers seem a bit overcooked (crunchy edges), but otherwise edible. However, the toaster sandwiches and coneys are usually pretty decent.

As it goes, Sonic is almost as commonplace as Starbucks, especially in Albuquerque. I had never been to a Sonic Drive-In prior to moving to Albuquerque but find myself drawn to them whenever I'm home and whenever I come across another in other places. Typical fast-food is served up in your car (unless, like me, you can recall a time when you were sans car and in high school and actually walked up to an ordering box and ate on the lone picnic table in front), which is nice because you don't have idle in line for the drive-thru. So I may still be lazy and fat but at least I'm saving some exhaust for later. Hamburgers, thick-sliced toast sandwiches, burritos, and tater tots are the food fare. What I get most excited about are the drinks. Ocean Water? Cherry limeade? Diet coke with strawberry? You name it, they'll add the syrup for you. There's also a myriad of ice cream-based desserts, of which I'm most delighted by the chocolate malt. This particular Sonic location is the THE place to be seen in the Heights if you have any inclination towards "pimping" you car. Right off Montgomery, the popular cruise strip, you'll see a myriad of car modifications if you happen to visit at night on a weekend. Which, I suppose, is an upgrade from the Taco Cabana.

Sonic in New Mexico or very common. In California or really hard to find. So I was very excited going on their drive thru. I order the cheese burger combo and they actually have really good prices. I didn't have time to sit in the car so I took in home. I didn't know they put onions on their burgers so that was my only complain. The onion rings were good too. Usually when I go a fast food restaurant some places make my stomach bloated. But eating here at Sonic I was find. Nexr time I go I want to try there breakfast menu.

You'll get a typical Sonic experience at this store. If you're not familiar with Sonic it's definitely worth a try ... especially their large selection of soft drinks. Happy hour (2-5 pm daily) will get you 1/2 off on these drinks.

Never go wrong with a half priced milk shake. They are probably one of the best milk shakes in town.

Seriously disgusted with this place. I remember when sonic had the appeal of In and Out, you wanted to go, and if there wasn't one in your city you would drive hours to go there...... Now---- HELL NO!!!!!!! I go back occasionally only to be horribly disappointed; at least they are constant about that. Most recently I went at about 930 on a Wednesday, only like 3 people there ordering so should be quick and painless.......(famous last words right) Ordered a Brownie Cookie Dough Master Blast, got to the window to pay, waited, waited, waited, waited, waited, waited, waited, nearly 5 minutes later a little brunette comes to the window simply to get my payment. Forget saying hello, sorry about the wait, basically any service skills in the least ( first problem with today's younger generation who are handed everything and still have an attitude and complain about it) She was more interested in drinking her own drink. She handed me back some change....... Don't bother counting it back to me- I'll do your job for you there little girl. Waited, waited, waited, waited, waited, waited, waited- start to see the trend of this evenings event???? Finally see her and another little attitude girl "working" on my order- it's now been nearly 10 minutes by the way...... Or so that people like those dumb little girls can understand: BTW. Finally brings me my order and says - here you go....... That's it- not a sorry about the wait, not a have a nice evening, nothing- just a here you go, slam the window- feel sorry for her parents, blame the parents too. Drive away and immediately know this is going to be bad- Dig into my when I get home, had to wait since the dumb little girl apparently thinks I can use a straw as a spoon- must have been my fault because I wasn't there to tell her I need a spoon for this type of ice cream, Now- remember what I ordered- brownie, cookie dough,,,,,, apparently I ordered a vanilla blast with maybe 3 small pieces of cookie dough apparently substitute the brownie for air...... So yeah- best advice, stay away until they realize how to hire people that have a brain.

Having paid for something that wasn't incorporated into my meal is frustrating to say the least. Then to have a lazy women standing around waiting for the drinks being made by another employee to be handed to her instead of making them herself is almost as frustrating as her snotty attitude. Very disappointed.
