Three and out... We'd been to this restaurant several times, but I'd forgotten why we hadn't been back in several months. We started in the bar area, but since corporate took over, patrons now have to be over 21 to sit in the bar area...not just the bar! Ok, that's new since corporate took over...strike one. We were moved to the main dining area and had a pleasant waiter. The rest of my party placed their orders and I attempted to order the Royal Robin with the egg over easy and green chile. The waiter winced...they no longer have green chile! That change was made to satisfy corporates desire to have one standard menu. Strike two. The waiter recommended the Genisys burger. Ok, that sounded good: a fire-grilled beef patty topped with roasted jalapeño, pepper-jack cheese, shredded romaine, bacon, tomatoes, avocado and jalapeño aioli. The burger was delivered and I was dismayed by the lack of resemblance to the picture on the menu. I was still optimistic and took a bite of the burger. The patty was thin. The three little flavorless slices avocado were more like little chunks than slices. The bacon-like strips were greasy and limp. The romaine was... wait was that dime sized fleck the romaine?! The jalapeños were ... MISSING ... where were the jalapeños?! I expected a lot more for an $11 burger. Strike three! I let the waiter know how disappointed I was and he sent the manager to our table...after about 10 minutes. I let the manager know how thoroughly disappointed I was. He was very nice and attempted to accommodate me by quickly providing a replacement that's made to the standard. I declined because I'd lost my appetite after waiting. The manager informed us that he went to a corporate meeting last week and voiced the same concerns that he, I and many, many others have, but was informed that corporate's goal is bar revenues. I told him that corporate is certainly moving in the same direction as the Friday's that used to be next door. Isn't the name Red Robin Gourmet BURGERS?! My family and I won't be back.

After my family's previous bad experience with Red Robins. My wife and I decided to go back to Red Robins to give it another shot. I can honestly tell you, Red Robins has been redeemed in my eyes. I had the Patty Melt and my wife had the Philly Cheese Steak. One word: Outstanding! The waiter we had was very attentive, friendly and outgoing. It's good to know restaurants like Red Robins exist because as a repeat customer, even thought we did have one bad experience. It's nice to go somewhere familiar, get good food that's constant and leave fat and happy.

Burgers were good but they did some updating to the appearance of the plates, a little too much for a burger and beer night out. Over all experience was good plus they have the best honey mustard around!

I'm sad to say, I don't like this Red Robin as much anymore since they switched to corporate. My husband and I used to frequent this location and it was a favorite go to spot for us. We rarely eat at the other location as this one is close to our house, so I don't know if these are issues this chain is experiencing across the board or just at this location, but I've noticed that the prices have gone up, the quality of food has gone way down, and they often seem to be understaffed which greatly affects the quality of service. One night when we came soon after the "switch", the service was so backed up that I saw people from other tables getting up and walking to the kitchen just to get a drink refill, and even more tables complaining after waiting 45+ minutes with no food. The manager discounted our bill for the long wait, which was nice, especially since we hadn't even said anything because we figured they were just having an off night and were adjusting to these new corporate changes. But then our frazzled waitress said she wouldn't blame us if we never wanted to come back. I know she was flustered and probably had to deal with a lot of frustrated customers complaining and yelling that night, but it seemed like an odd thing to say to a customer who hadn't complained about anything. On our next visit, they seemed to be better staffed and the service was much smoother. I ordered the Banzai burger. This is a favorite of mine and I've had it countless times before. It tasted nothing like it usually did. The burger patty tasted like a generic frozen patty, not fresh, and not marinated in teriyaki sauce. I do have to say that the staff was apologetic and offered me a replacement menu item, and the promise that the burgers would be up to standard the next time we came in. Fast forward to a more recent visit. I order my favorite Banzai burger again, and I am baffled at what comes to the table. The burger patty is literally no bigger than 1/4" thick and is piled high with lettuce. I thought surely they gave me the kid's burger by mistake? I tried to flag down the server to ask them, but they were nowhere to be seen. I was hungry so I started eating it anyway, and it was mostly bread and lettuce. I also ordered a to go order for someone else at the same time our food was delivered. About 40 minutes after I ordered it, the to go order was finally brought out. I was hesitant to go back after this last time, but after filling out the online survey with the hopes that they could use it to make some improvements, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a $15.00 gift card and the promise by management that my issues would be addressed. So last night, we decided to give it another go. We arrived at about 6:25pm, and while there was no wait for a table, there was no hostess to greet us when we came in and we had to wait for someone to notice that there were customers waiting (there was another party ahead of us). We were seated at 6:30pm. At 6:40pm, someone came to take our drink orders and we ordered our entrees at the same time. This time I ordered the sautéed shroom burger (my 2nd favorite), and my husband ordered the new California chicken burger with a side of buzzard sauce (he orders this with everything). At 7:05pm, our orders are delivered, and the server said they were just warming up the buzzard sauce. My husband didn't want to eat his sandwich until he had the buzzard sauce to put on it, so he waited for it. At 7:15pm, the sauce came. Again my burger was unusually small for the price ($10.00!), and it was piled high with mushrooms to make it appear larger (at least the mushrooms added some substance to it unlike the lettuce, though). I always order my burger "no pink", but the burger I received was overcooked (like extra well done) and very dry. My husband said his sandwhich tasted good, but their once plump and juicy chicken sandwiches have apparently been replaced by the thinnest, scrawniest chicken "breast" you ever saw and piled high with the toppings. By the time we finally got the bill and paid, it was 8:00pm. So from the time we were seated until we left, we were there for a total of an hour and a half, for a burger and sandwich, no appetizers, no desserts. To be fair, our waitress was really sweet and I think she was doing the best she could, but it was fairly busy and again they didn't seem to have enough staff on hand to accommodate the dinner rush. I just don't think it's worth it any more. Most of the burgers are in the $10.00 range (some are as much as $15.00), which I wouldn't mind so much if I could be assured I was going to receive quality food and attentive service. If you're going to cut the size of your burgers way down, you should cut the prices down to reflect it. Things haven't been improving and actually seem to be declining. Please let me know if the old Red Robin ever comes back.

Reeeeeeed Robin! Yuuuuummmmm! I had a $25.00 gift card that I won at work. I haven't been here in a few years, so I thought we give it a shot. It was dead when we got there, so perfect! We were seated immediately. Great! Then we waited, and waited, aaaaaand waited. Why did we wait 15 minuets for someone to acknowledge us and take our drink orders when the place was dead? Saw some higher up (different colored shirts gave it away) talking and laughing while we stood by and waited. So finally she came around. By then we ordered everything in one go. Drinks, appetizer and entree. I ordered the Nacho Crunch Tavern Double. The burger comes with onions, tomatoes, pepper jack cheese, crunchy tortilla chips and a cheddar cheese made with lime, chile and cool ranch, creamy ranch. I also ordered some sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. My wife ordered The Prime Rib Dip. The sandwich consists of tender sliced prime rib with caramelized onions, horseradish sauce, provolone, and au jus. served with coleslaw and steak fries. The food didn't take long to come out, when it did, I didn't get my sweet potato fries. I didn't make a fuss about it, so I let it go. The burger was awesome! Loved it. The crunchy tortilla strips made it awesome as well. It was well made and had great flavor! Loved it! My wife thought it was okay. She liked the bread because it was very crispy and didn't get soggy with the au jus. She didn't think it had much flavor and thought it to be very bland. We would come again. The food was good. I didn't noticed that I was charged for sweet potato fries that I didn't get until I left with the receipt and was at home writing this.

Meh.. Pretty much sums up my review for Red Robin after craving a nice juicy burger all week I was wanting to go eat a fulfilling burger but didn't want to travel across Albuquerque to Nob HIll to get it so I thought hey I'll give Red Robin a shot.. First impressions wasn't to good as the hostess wasn't friendly nor did they get my phone number or name correct, wait times were long even though there were lots of tables not cleaned off, menu seemed legit as they offered quite a few good options but the final result was pretty meh. My burger was dry and over cooked for medium rare and the garlic fries were pretty bland as well as the dipping sauces they offer for the fries. Prices were also pretty steep for a casual fast food restaurant.

The food here is the food - if you've been to one Red Robin..... The food is good when you are craving a specific thing (buffalo clucks and fries, anyone?!) and you always want it to taste the way your remember it. The thing here that always got us upset with this place was the poor service. However, we came in the other day (after a long hiatus) and the service was top notch. My little guy (2 yo) had a total melt down as we were being seated. I was there alone with 2 small kids and I was stressing. The manager came over - before we could even sit - with some fries and the host provided a balloon. They attempted to distract him and interact with him. Shortly thereafter the crying stopped. These gestures of patience went a long way in my book. The waiter was fast and attentive. We, in spite of the meltdown, had a great experience. We will head back soon and will be checking to see if this improvement in service is a permanent change! Hoping it is!!

Typical Red Robin, burgers are above average and the endless steak fries with the Red Robin "spices" are delicious. We were here on a Friday night and were seated in the bar area immediately even though there were quite a few folks waiting for a table. Sometimes it's good to be without kids. When our food was brought to us, it wasn't what we had ordered, so the waiter took it back and brought the right order. We got dessert free for that one and the waiter and manager apologized.

The only reason I'm giving 1 star was the service. ..this location is now "corporate"....boo! No local green chili? ! WTF. ...is a gourmet burger w/ gc? No ...how would you liked that cooked? All of our food was either cold or warm at best! My daughter immediately said I do not like this restaurant anymore!, from a 6yo. Shame it will be closed like tGI Friday s soon. This use to be my daughter's favorite spot! :(

Wow! We came as a party of 30, all with individual special requests for our meals and the service was excellent! ARIEL did a great job of keeping orders straight, even though we moved around and parties didnt sit together! Thank you for being attentive, kind and fun to talk to ARIEL! WAY TO GO!

Being a "Red Robin" regular in Austin, Texas and in the Cleveland area of Ohio, I was disappointed in this location. First of all, the menu selection is not nearly as expansive as other locations, so your choices are limited. No chilli cheese fries - No nachos - No BBQ Whiskey River Chicken Wrap (or salad) - so there were many of my favorites that were not offered at this location. The food itself was pretty good and the service was decent. The manager came to the table to ask us "how is everything?" We told him things were good, but we could use a refill on our fries - the fries never showed up. The waiter was training another waitress, so he seemed pretty pre-occupied, which is understandable. However, I left the place disappointed.

I like this place. It's probably my favorite burger chain. I have eaten here quite a few times and have never gotten bad food. I have had some so-so service, but overall, it's been good. I have had their garden burger, which was surprisingly good. It was very large and filling. It's just your typical veggie burger, but it's made well and does not fall into the boring category. The Whiskey Chicken Wrap is amazing. It's one of my favorites there. It's a large portion and has a great flavor. It's chicken, with ranch and BBQ, cheese and lettuce. It's very yummy. Very, very filling and the tortillas they use are some of my favorites to make wraps with at home, as well. My favorite burger there is the Black and Blue. Mushrooms, onions, blue cheese and a ciabatta bun. It's big and almost impossible to finish in one sitting, which helps make up for it seeming a little pricey. It has a great flavor. Their fries and season salt are my favorite. I could eat those fries all the time. They are really, really good and a big wedges instead of being thin and crispy. Their season salt is really great on them. Their chili queso starter is really good, as well, even though it does not leave much room for dinner. The bar is also good. They have skinny cocktail options to help take away some of guilt for how much you are about to eat. The skinny adult lemonade is tasty and so is the skinny margarita. Overall, it's the food is yummy and the service is typically good. Amazing fries and good drinks. It's a win.

Restaurant was dirty. Food was terrible. Asked for a manager and it took him 20 minutes to get to my table. Terrible overall experience. I will not return. Which is sad because I like this place. Oh well.

This is a mixed review. My wife liked her burger and mine was just ok. The kids meal was great. Service was great. But what I really liked was the unlimited shakes. Yum yum. Also the unlimited fries are a good thing.

We needed to kill time before catching our flight. We ended up here. We had a good time. We were waited on in a timely matter, on a Sunday with a very important NFL game on. Great job!

I think what you're paying for is the restaurant's flashy decorations and interior, because it is certainly not the food. I make better frozen French fries at home, and if you don't eat them while they are piping hot, they feel and taste like rubber. The chicken tortilla soup was not bad, but it wasn't good either. It's all Sysco food all the time. However, people obviously love the burgers and shakes, which I didn't try.

I rarely write reviews but this time I am making an exception. My group and myself were traveling for a short day trip from Las Cruces. We stopped at Red Robin for a quick bite to eat. We weren't expecting amazing but still our standards must have been set high because the service we received was very poor. I am generally very observant and understanding when it comes to wait staff. I am well aware that it would not be an easy position. I try to be especially understanding when it is clearly busy and the waiter/waitress has their hands full. This time the waiter did not seem to spend his attention on the guests. He was more taken by the female wait staff surrounding him. We never received seconds on our drinks or offers to get one of our bottomless options refilled. Once requested, and I know I can't blame wait staff for wait times in food, but it took more than ten minutes to get a second bowl of fruit. (By the time I received my fruit my party was ready to leave.) Also, our orders were slightly messed up ( wrong bun type and medium burgers as opposed to well done). The manager was walking around and joking with guests but clearly needed to take a more serious hold of some of his staff. The staff was more focused on their relationships with each other than anything else. I have never left such a low tip in my life and I feel that some retraining is clearly needed. I will not be returning to this location.

Not too shabby. I've always been a big Red Robin fan. As with most restaurants, your dining experience is hit-or-miss, but you can usually count on Red Robin to make it a hit, regardless of time-of-day. As a "guest" to any restaurant, I typically refrain from complaining under any circumstance, and instead rely on my "host" to make sure that all is well. Today our server was attentive enough to make that happen, and a subtle "oops" was quickly responded to by mgmt. (the unanticipated resolution was Above & Beyond expectations, hence an additional star). Where this place rocks: - Fun and inviting atmosphere - Kid friendly & usually has TV's in view (Gamedays!) - Excellent menu selection including drinks! - All you can eat awesome fries (...and not-so-awesome "healthy" substitutes); get them up-front if you wish! - Good location - Young & happy staff What to keep in mind: - Expect to spend additional time at this RR location. (~15 mins from being seated to requesting your order; another ~15-20 for food) - "Pink or no-pink" ( as in med-rare vs well-done) is now "Well-done or Overdone". Choose wisely. - Have an extra drink on stand-by Where's the balloons and Robin for the kiddo's?? All-in-all, give this place a try... especially if you have kids. I'd recommend the Guacamole Burger, Red's Tavern Double Burger, or the Chicken Bruschetta Sandwich. Grab a side of ranch for the fries, and don't forget the seasoning! Also, the adult beverage selection here is pretty good for this kind of restaurant.

Great service, great burgers, love the fries. I also love the wide selection of burgers, really unique choices. They also have really good shakes, they always bring the shaker on the side with the refill for the shake. They also have a great bar selection for this type of restaurant.

Decent food; poor waiter was more interested in playing with the cute bartender and left our drinks unfilled and no refills on fries (gasp). One word to the manager left me feeling better. Thanks to him, I will be back for another try. I'm hoping this was a one time event.

Well, y'know...sometimes you just want a huge, heart-stoppin burger and a front end loader full of steak fries (with unlimited refills beyond that). YES, it's a chain. YES, there's another one exactly like it a few miles away. This is the one that's closest to me. Their vibe is fine. The service is OK (apart from that one time a few years ago that it was just *abysmal*). I like that we can take the 2-yr-old there and not worry in the least if he melts down. It's all good. To sum it up, the burgers are consistently yummy, so I keep going there--simple as that.
