went over the weekend. We started sitting in the bar, service is better. The bartender knows his stuff, drinks are excellent. Ordered from the crab specials as did the wife. the food was spot on. The only reason I didn't give it a five was because we ordered mussels for an appetizer, felt like they were microwaved, all the shells were opened put the mussels weren't quite luke warm.

I "like" Red Lobster and every time I go there I leave felling the exact same way. Not "love", not "hate", I just "like" it. Ok , ok, so during all-you-can-eat shrimp season, I do almost "love" it... but I digress. In all honesty, I always get the shrimp. The lobster, the crab, the mussels, the oysters are ok but for the price I'd rather pay as much at a seafood boil pace or buffet where it's all-you-can-eat. It's a good staple place and it seems to appease the masses so I go every so often with family or friends and that's enough.

I hadn't been in a Red Lobster in over 3 years. Although I was impressed with the remodel I was not happy with the service or food. This place had taken a turn for the worse. The food was cold and tasted like someone had splashed butter all over. Our waitress made me and my family feel like we were wasting her time. We used to look forward to go to this location but me and my fiance have decided to not go back. Such a shame since we used to go at least once a month. I bid thee farewell Red Lobster.

When I was growing up, I would fill myself up with those buttery Chesapeake bay biscuits. Those were the bomb! Nowadays I'm not that much into carbs but as I ate one, they just weren't as buttery. Maybe the changed the recipe or skimped on the butter, whatever it was, they just weren't as tasty. I got the clam chowder and scrimp scampi. Was good, but the flavors could have been better. The waiter told me that I could find the Chesapeake bay biscuits in a box at Costco, I'll have to go check that out.

I hadn't been to this Red Lobster in years and was craving some seafood and being in NM there really aren't many options so Red Lobster it is. Either way service was great our waitress was attentive and courteous drinks were constantly being filled, and food was brought out quickly but as far as the food goes I just feel ripped off. I mean 26 bucks for a tiny lobster tail and a few shrimps just seem outrageous to me. I think if they put a little more effort into the quality of their seafood this place would get more customers. Not to mention actually serve fresh Maine lobsters instead of the crayfish they call lobsters.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. First, out waitress was more than accomodating with my allergy to dairy, her husband has one too. She made sure nothing was cooked with dairy. When my food came out, man was it delicious! The steak was cooked to perfection, the baked potato cooked how I like, and my steamed broccoli was perfect. After a 2 year absence from there, I will definitely be back!

So far so good, Salad and biscuits are always good. Ordered half dozen oysters, those came out pretty quick and were not dissapointing. Next came out our meals, I had the Ultimate Feast and wife had the Crab legs as always both were good and filling. No issues today on this meal. Our waitress was good and very nice. I would give have given it 5 stars but 4 stars is more warrented.

Really disappointing visit tonight. My wife loves this place but both our dishes were below par. Not sure if we will be back unless the wife "really" wants to go.

sat at the bar and ordered a beer ( only a pint , mind you)...... ordered full plate of grilled tilapia...... tilapia-okay, only slight grill marks ( grill marks were brown like they were afraid they'd burn it brocolli-okay, hot but still firm rice-okay, wild rice at least..... salad-yuck, white lettuce, no tomatoes, too much dressing ( my fault should have got dressing on the side bread-okay, tried a half nothing spectacular.... bartender was great, at first , brought extra lemon and a to-go box ( have not cleared my plate since i was a a child, lol ) but when i did not get dessert he seemed kind of put off........ was putting my fish in my to-go box and he came by and scooped up the extra lemons that were given to me....., (no big deal, have lemons at home)...... bill came and guess what ? overcharged for beer...... food was okay, salad sucked, beer cold, overcharged for beer........ sorry , will not be back.....

Hubby and I eat here pretty often. Since I'm a member of their on-line club, I get coupons via e-mail, as well as the ones that come in the Sunday papers. Hubby is a huge shrimp fan, so he usually sticks with that, but I like almost any kind of fish. Their crab cakes (on the appetizer menu) are very good. The last time Hubby and I went there, we were pleasantly surprised to have a waiter who had served us previously. I don't know how long ago it was, but he remembered us and brought our beverages to the table on his first visit--THAT is a real plus for a restaurant as busy as this one is and as many customers as he has to have served in the interim. Chris will be asked for each time we go now. All in all, a good place for decent seafood in a city far far away from the sea. Yes, it's all probably frozen, but they do make the best of what they have.

I only gave this particular location 2 stars but overall I'm a fan of The Red Lobster. The atmosphere was nice and it had a even flow of noise that was not over powering. If you are a clean freak this is your spot the bar, restaurant, and outside was extremely clean. Now to the food the salmon was not cooked all the way nor was the crab cakes it was a disappointment.

LOVE Red Lobster. Went for the four course - $15 special. Portions were huge/delish and thought it was an awesome value. I placed an order to go and when they brought it over - I discovered that it was incorrect. They gave me the Seaport when all I wanted was crab stuff flounder. I let our waitress know and she apologized and sent the Manager over. He gave me the Seaport for free ($25 value) and said he would make the flounder on the house for me being so patient/understanding. I told him he didn't have to, but I really appreciated them going above and beyond and taking care of me. Highly Recommend!

Has really gone down hill, management is a joke, wait staff does not care about your experience. Won't bother with Red Lobster, it is a dead lobster, much better seafood restaraunts.

This is my favorite Red Lobster location in town. The service is usually good and the food is cooked well. The waitress I had last time, whose name I forget, was fast and sweet. She had our drinks back to us in record time and was always smiling. The bartender took a moment, but he had quite a few orders coming in. The Skinny Long Island is good. I got the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The shrimp it comes with was perfect. The rice that comes with it is boring, so it remained untouched. The main part of the dish was wonderful, though. My friend got their Sirloin and Shrimp. They were also cooked wonderfully. His potatoes were under-salted, but that can be remedied at the table. Some of their stuff is a bit pricey, but seafood in a landlocked state is going to be pricey anyway. It's to be expected. Their side salad is extremely boring, but it's just a side salad. I would say their sides are generally boring and a bit under-seasoned. They do allow substitutions, so maybe I will try that next time. It's not worth sending a dish back for boring rice and unsalted mashed potatoes when the rest is done well. For being a chain restaurant, it exceeds expectations on quality for their seafood. Hopefully, this one stays good because the other location in town is lackluster. I go about once a year and it's a nice routine.

We had been given Red Lobster gift cards and wanted to use them. We chose this site because it was closer and newer. We were both aware that the other location has been there forever and looks/feels like it. The Yelp reviews of this locale gave us pause. Long waits and bad service were mentioned. Thankfully, our experience was exemplary. We were welcomed by a friendly hostess and seated promptly. Our waitress, Kristen D., came by quickly and cheerfully said we'd missed most of the dinner rush. She warmly gave us our menus, advised us of a Valentines Week special of any App + Dessert for $10 and explained they were in Lobster Fest mode. She even asked if we were celebrating anything in particular. The choices from our three menus took us awhile but we had the cheesy bread to nibble on as we read. I saw plenty of lobster options, fish combos and even chicken or pasta items. When I asked if the rainbow trout was local, Kristen joked it came from the Rio Grande, but came with a warning and then went and found out where it and all the fish were sourced. A nice extra step. We went back to our menu and saw some surprising items I didn't expect, like tortilla soup, a salad w/ jalapeno dressing & other food that I don't expect to see on a seafood menu. They have a pretty good $15.99 option that had soup, salad, entrée & dessert plus some other good deals which include lobster in your dish. We went a different route and chose to share an Ultimate Feast and a Rock Island Stuffed Tilapia. Our salads arrived (one raspberry vinaigrette, one blueberry vinaigrette) and we crunched away and discussed how average American veggies lack flavor and distinction. I also remembered that the stuffed mushroom appetizer is really good here, but that's for next time. Salad enjoyed - check. Our entrées came and we dug in without even a thought of snapping a pic to post. We chose garlic mashed and rice pilaf as our sides and the mashed won that by a landslide. The rest of the food was great. The tilapia was great on its own, but the stuffed part had just too many flavors to count. The crab, shrimp(s) and lobster were all cooked properly and, should they read this review, were delicious. We thank you for the flavor you gave your life for. Note: Is it the same as fresh seafood? No. Have I had amazingly wonderful seafood elsewhere? Yes, all over the world. This is not a comparison to that. This is simply a review of a red lobster location, so proceed accordingly. This being a newer venue, it has a nice clean and modern feel with flat screens over the bar and fun décor around the windows. I would pay attention to where you are seated. We were near an air duct and the place was a bit cold, plus it quickly shortens the time you have to enjoy hot/warm food. As in, hot butter begins to congeal around food and head back to solid form. There are plenty of issues with reviewing a chain restaurant, I admit. Like it or not, they are part of our world and folks will continue to patronize them. I write this to let Yelpers know that I've read the other reviews and was cautious, but my experience with this crew was a good one. The ticket says the GM is currently Eric Martinez and our waitress was Kristen D. We never saw him, but she was all you could ask for in a server. I hope the trend of good service continues for your meal too, because Abq has limited seafood options and RL is one people will frequent. One thing RL - No Wi-Fi??? Get with it. By the way, we didn't get a bib. Didn't you used to get a bib w/ a red lobster on it?? Did anyone else get a bib? Is that still a thing?

Mediocre. Probably worth 3 stars, but their high prices command a scrutinous eye. Service is so-so, not bad, but kind of meh. At the front door, we are greeted with "How Many?" That is not a hello, or welcome - it's an automated greeting that sounds like a recording. Same thing with service, "are you ready to order?" is not a way to help guide someone through the menu. Server was very utilitarian, not great, but not bad. Seems like she had too many tables. Alas, not as bad as the table next to us, where a different server said the "kitchen" screwed up the order (even though the server was running around with WAY too many tables). Food was ok, I mean, it's way frozen industrial seafood that pales in comparison to Papadeux's. My wife's food was ok - my chicken pasta left a lot to be desired. Chicken breast looked like it had been chopped with a cleaver into crappy looking niblets, except they didn't cut all the way through, so it was held together by the burnt end of the breast. Pasta was dry, and sauce had that skin where it had sat in the window for a while. Bravo. And, last, why are they always on a wait? I mean, a half-empty restaurant at 2:30 in the afternoon should not be on a wait - part of the illusion to make you think they are something special when they're not, I guess. Only manager I saw was running a lot of food. Maybe they didn't think about it being a holiday when they wrote the schedule. Sure, you can say, it's Red Lobster, cut them a break, but their prices have increased, and they are no longer a bargain. Charge Wal-mart prices, I will compare you to Wal-Mart, charge Nordstrom's prices, and I will compare you to Nordstrom's. $35 for lunch for two demands a little better than what we got.

Food was real good but took 40 minutes to be delivered to the table. The restraunt wasn't particularly busy. Waitress had to be called to fill drinks and really didn't seem interested in actually providing good service. The hostess staff was unprofessional for a restraunt. "Playing" around on several occasions. More of a social gathering then a restraunt. I'll think long and hard before returning to this restraunt. Carissa M was our waitress
