Ate here today. Food was good, but the menu options are not quite as extensive as I was hoping. Not so much Asian fusion food, as in influences from different cultures in the food, and more like food from different Asian countries with no alterations in the recipe. Had the walnut shrimp which was very nice. Great service. Location is nice with a bar facing the street and a plug if needed. Had a nice section with multiple gluten free options.

If you want a fancy yet AUTHENTIC southeast Asian cuisines, then this is the place for you. Most of the authentic Asian restaurants don't care about their decor or customer services - sad to say but true, however that's not the case for this place. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming and intimate. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. I personally have a chance to meet the chef and he's an awesome guy. His take and twist on Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese food are impeccable. I have a very very picky palet and my palet approves this place.

The place is clean and the service was excellent. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken. I have to admit that I was disappointed with the food. It was a little too greasy for my liking, and the flavor wasn't great. I can't quite put my finger on what was wrong, but it seemed like way too much soy sauce, and a smell that was more like dog food than pad Thai. I'm not sure I will come back.

We were in the area and I wanted Asian food. We came to Plum Cafe on Yelp's reviews. I had the vegetable medley w beef, which was a nice sized portion of fresh veggies, beef and a lovely sauce. My husband had the yellow curry, which he really liked, except the potatoes, but had a good amount of spice. I'd say the curry has a string lemongrass zing, so if that's to your liking, you'll probably like the curry too. You get a choice of 3 rices.

Good spot for lunch if you work in the area. The prices are very reasonable and the food is served hot and is quite good. Booth and table seating is available and a decent sized party can be accommodated if needed. The staff is friendly and it is a very clean place.

I have been eating here since they opened.. Staff is friendly and food is great and fresh.. The potstickers grilled are awesome and the Chicken Pad Thai.. It is a lot like Pei Wei, even more expensive but for the location it's priced normal..

I can't believe I've lived in Albuquerque for almost a year and haven't been to Plum Cafe. Nestled right between my apartment and my place of work, is this culinary gem. My boyfriend and I shared the tofu spring rolls, which were so fresh and crisp. We also ordered tofu pad Thai and General Tsos tofu with brown rice (again, incredible.) We had Kirin with dinner and Thai Teas to go for dessert. The service was so friendly, the ambiance, relaxing. Beyond excited to have found healthy Plum Cafe among fast food and chain restaurant options near Jefferson.

Very disappointed with the food quality and the fast food feel. I ordered the soup of the day (hot and sour soup), egg rolls, and sesame chicken. Rubbery vegetables, and the chicken dish had an odd sourness to it. Disappointed

Tried this place on a whim. It's great, food was really good and price was reasonable. The portions are a pretty good size also. Will be coming back.

Stumbled on Plum Cafe and what a terrific place this is. Both my kids are very picky eaters but the both LOVED their food! We will definitely be back!

Actually stopped in here because a different restaurant was closed (it was labor day). I was pleasantly surprised. The ingredients that made up my meal tasted extremely fresh. The noodles in my soup tasted fresh as well, not like they've been soaking for days. The staff was friendly and the place was clean.

Bleh... can't believe I just spent 35 dollars on Costco food. So very sad and upsetting (especially for my stomach).

We went to this restaurant from a coupon we bought on restaurant.com . They didn't have restrictions on the coupon, but once at the restaurant we couldn't purchase any shrimp or beef dishes with the coupon. The gift certificate was for $25 off when you spend $35. So, since this restaurant was so freakin' stingy, instead of ordering one beef and one shrimp entree and an appetizer. We ended up having to order a side order of soup, three appetizers and two chicken entrees plus drinks to reach our $35. So this restaurant had to create 3 additional dishes and bring them to us. What kinda crazy is that? It was such a hassle just finding something to order that wasn't restricted, that we decided never to go here again. For all the machinations and hoops we had to go through, you would think that our dining experience would be amazing. Not true. This is a place where you order up front and then they bring you the dishes, kinda like Pei Wei...............without the amazing food. We won't be back.

Stopped in for a late lunch while visiting Albuquerque and my husband and I ordered the Red chicken curry and the beef green curry. First, the waitress and the chef were extremely helpful when I explained my dietary restrictions - thank you! The food and presentation was impressive (lots of flavor) and when I visit the city again I will definitely go back.

Ever been to Pei Wei? This is like that ... just not quite as good.

Originally tried this place a couple of years ago and was unimpressed. But tried it again yesterday at the recommendation of a friend, and had an excellent meal. The Thai Yellow Curry with Chicken was very flavorful, served hot and fresh. Served with fresh veggies on the side, and well prepared brown rice. The big lunch crowd in the restaurant is a sign that others are enjoying the food too. I'm going back.

I've eaten at several asian restaurants around town. I'd never heard of this place before but we came over here for dinner after our movie was sold out and I have to say, I was extremely impressed! The setting, the staff, THE FOOD and the price was exemplary! I can't believe I've never heard I this place before! My girlfriend and I agreed it was the best Asian food we've had in Albuquerque! We'll be back for sure!

What an AMAZING place to eat! Definitely not like the other chain asian restaurants Albuquerque has to offer, the portions are very generous and I promise you won't be disappointed. I ordered the Tama Cod and the Walnut Shrimp and was really impressed with the presentation and taste. Practically cleaned the plate! The service was top notch, the decor was outstanding and it was just a pleasing environment to eat in. If you are looking for a place to dine before catching a movie or even after seeing one, this is the place to go!

This is one of our favorite places to get great Asian food in Albuquerque. The Vietnamese Tacos and the Walnut Shrimp are my favorites! The food is very good and the service is always really friendly. Every meal comes with fresh vegetables and they have a gluten-free menu and can also prepare nearly anything that you order gluten-free upon request. It's a great pre- or post-movie place to grab lunch or dinner, as it is across from Century Rio. Give it a shot!

I went to a late lunch at Plum Cafe yesterday. I had purchased the groupon. Overall, I had a great experience. The restaurant was clean and very welcoming. Loved the decor. Ordered the Honey Orange Chicken and my friend had Pad Thai -- it was delish. We both finished our plates - portions were perfect. I have nothing negative to say about the place - so that a good sign. People were super-friendly and their service was on point. Nice job Plum Cafe!
