Get the Tart classic---I dream of its tangy sweet goodness. I love that they have unlimited samples and the service has always been friendly. I am also a member of their customer loyalty program and I love that there are perks to visiting Olo. I haven't reaped any rewards yet but that is probably a sign that I need to make it out there pronto!

Yummy!!! Local! Always good. Best frozen yogurt in ABQ. Toppings are fresh and good selection.

I am more of an ice cream guy than a yogurt fan but this place opened my mind a little. There are a ton of flavors of yogurt (about 10) and you can try them all. Everything is self-serve and the price is based on weight. I though all of the flavors were pretty good but my favorite was the peanut butter. There's a goodie bar with fruit, candy, and all kinds of toppings. Everything was fresh and it was easy to make an impressive yogurt cup. There's tons of seating inside and it is a cool place to hangout or stop by for desert after dinner in Nob Hill.

I finally was able to make it over to Olo and give this new froyo place a go. It's great that it is closer to me as a trek uptown for froyo is not usually ever going to happen. Olo is a good place for some pretty good frozen yogurt. The cost per ounce is still a little high @ $0.41/ounce, but it is cheaper than the other self serve froyo place uptown. The flavors were all tasty and the ability to sample all was nice (I hate asking for extra sample cups). The flavor names all have a local twist to them, which is cute, but when it comes to froyo, I care more about tastiness than cuteness. Thankfully, Olo does not disappoint. It was also nice to see a place that doesn't have a permanent installation of red velvet cake flavor. The toppings all looked fresh with the exception of the watermelon. It was gray and ugly. Shouldn't it be red and delicious looking? I'm not sure why it was even set out, as it was pretty unappetizing just to look at. A little quality control goes a long way. Other than the ugly watermelon topping, we had no issues. Service was friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure.

Great yogurt, lots of good toppings (including fruit). This place is even better than menchies!!!!

Love this place so hard. Delicious, love trying samples, love the make your own, reasonably priced for what it is and the loyalty program is sweet. Its not a big place, so if you're coming for a date or something when it's busy, be prepared to go for a walk along central while eating.or feel like you should eat and get out (not because of the staff--- they're always awesome and welcoming, but because you don't want to be the ones taking up the table the whole time) Love it!

Pretty damn delicious. The Yogurtists know what they are talking about and are very helpful. The yogurt flavors change by the week, and are hit or miss. You can test them all so no big deal. They always have at least 3 amazing flavors at a time. Great for fall nights in Nob hill

This was where I escaped after many college exams during my time at UNM. They have a lot of tasty flavors and an even larger selection of toppings (mango boba, pieces of fruit, candy bars, caramel turtles, fruity pebbles, sprinkles, hot fudge, and the list goes on and on)! This is definitely my favorite spot for froyo, nothing else in town really compares to this. AND! You can get tiny samples of froyo for free before you fill your gigantic cup up with tastiness!

The review will be something like my treat last night. Short and to the point. (wait for the pun) I like frozen yogurts and I like it here too. I dig the variety of toppings, and the flavors I chose were good ones. FYI, I did not opt for the monster jumbo container and I went more sweet than tart. Thank heaven for the small sample cups. It let me know that a few of those flavors were NOT for me! I liked my chocoholic, fruit loop flavor & fruity sorbet (name escapes me). Props for the divider which helps keep my stuff from mixing up into odd flavors. Overall, it's like any other fro-yo shop to me. Living in Cali spoiled me and, like yoga, ATM's or sushi, we expect them everywhere. They seem to blend into each other. I like the clean, bright feel of these places and I like the option of choosing to sit in/outdoors. This one checks those boxes. I give this one extra props for being local, in Nob Hill and half props for a good product/experience. The girl behind the counter was friendly and efficient even as her shift was ending. So, why three stars? That's because my g.f. broke a tooth on a hard gummy bear. Simple...and that should be enough said. Except we were stopping for Chocolate Dude - b/c we love it. I, yes I (not her) strayed from that idea, to lead us in for this yogurt. She agreed and I felt bad for making that move. So, what's done is done, but I cannot reward the hard bear. I'll likely be back to this or the other location since mine tasted fine, but I will be leery of my toppings because I will have to remember seeing the jagged points of her tooth on a napkin & all that goes with that.

Definitely hit or miss. If you stick with the tried-and-true flavors (Capulin cake batter!) then you're guaranteed to have a good time. When you veer from the road most traveled, things can get a little funky.

The yogurt tasted like ice milk. If you've never experienced ice milk (you don't want to) take my word that that is not a good thing. Its sort of... how to say this descriptively... ? Its the opposite of creamy. Instead its watery, with big ice crystals in it, and it tastes cheap. I sampled several flavors and they all had the same consistency. The toppings were fine. I liked the homemade cranberry sauce, but the yogurt was so unpleasant I didn't want to finish it. Also the store was crowded and parking was hard to find. I'm not a resident of ABQ, so maybe this is the best it gets here. If so, sorry guys. Try to get an Orange Leaf in your town. You'll love it.

  • Chris S.

Olo had the most flavors to choose from, at least compared to other froyo that I have been too in ABQ. Deciding on a flavor was quiet the task, but they also provide dividers if you want to select multiple flavors AND don't want them to mix (what a cool thought). They also had so many topping options to choose from, which was a lot of fun. Although parking is always an issue in Nob Hill, it is a great place to stop by after dinner.

  • Lou P.

Olo has a rotating selection of yogurt flavors. You fill up the cup with the yogurt and get your toppings. They have a good selection of toppings from fresh fruit, cereal, chocolate, candies, Mochi, boba, cookies...etc. You can get wild and end up paying big bucks like me when you go a tad overboard, fill up to the brim or overfill. Anything to stay cool in this hot weather!

Wow!! As frozen yogurt place. The joint is way better than munchies. The variety of flavors n fruits are great and fresh.

  • Chris B.

Lots of toppings. Many great flavors, and they do a great job of swapping out ones to keep the lineup fresh. A nice discount if you have a student ID. Use it to get 20% off a gift card, to give you more incentive to come back.

Our second go to yogurt place after the Westside Olo. Always great flavors on tap and fun to sit at the outside tables and people watch.

Isn't an ice cream/frozen yogurt business a no-brainer in ABQ? One would imagine, but the recent demise of a Nob Hill gelato shop has me second-guessing. Aside from Cold Stone, I can't think of many stand-alone creameries that have survived the test of time in this city. Even the Dairy Queen down Central by the bus depot has departed. There are success stories, but the formula seems to demand that a business provide something alongside the sweets, like sandwiches or shopping items, to thrive. I'm praying to my caramel chocolate gods that Olo bucks the trend, 'cause this place is money. This is how a typical visit to one of these shops goes for me: I walk up to the thick-paned plastic windows, peer into the vats of available flavors, pick out maybe five or six that I would love to try, then choose one and hope it's a winner. And usually it isn't, I have reservations, I'm sad I didn't choose something else. Nearly every time that's how the whole experience goes down. Not at Olo. The very best aspect of the entire setup, in my opinion, is the fact that you can sample every flavor of frozen yogurt available on your own time by your own hand, rather than asking an employee to fetch. I sampled - you guessed it - five of them, before coming across the One... My Precious... Schmiegel loved up on the chocolate. Chocolate frozen yogurt? Yep, it was quite good. I then proceeded to do something akin to asking for curry "Thai Hot". I smothered the bastard with caramel, peanut butter, and brownie nuggets - ruffly seven, eight toppings - thus completely submerging the authenticity of the yogurt itself. But oh well, it was fabulous. Another wonderful aspect of the setup was my ability to measure my portion, as opposed to some zit-faced kid rolling a massive scoop onto a cone or a cup. I wasn't up for that kind of gorge-gasm, I was feeling rather modest, and the cost ended up reflecting that approach. Really fair price, wonderful sweets/fresh fruit selection, vibrant interior, friendly employees: I'm there, and so is my 14 year-old. One aside: the cashier was occasionally peering through Stephen Colbert's latest book during her downtime, and I was really happy to observe this. I worked the service industry for at least a decade in many capacities, from soda jerk to high end table service, and one thing I couldn't handle were micro-managing shift supervisors who waited for a moment of peace and tranquility to arrive so they could jump on my back about some asinine project or side work, just because there wasn't anything else to do. Sometimes it's actually good to relax a little at work, too. Promoting a work environment where employees can find the time to joke around a little, or read, or whatever, also promotes trust and goodwill. Nice job, Olo.

Always friendly service! The cake batter yogurt is the next best thing to heaven. The toppings are fresh and chilled. Hits the spot on a hot day!

I love me some frozen yogurt, and let's be real; my partner Leo likes it even more than I do. Ergo, when we had some down time before my class at Self Serve, we eyed this place and stopped by. Is it THE BEST YOGURT PLACE IN THE WORLD? No. However, it was still pretty tasty. Well organized, everything was clean, and while they only had 10 flavors, they were pretty good flavors at that. They had a fair amount of toppings, including some really fun ones that I haven't seen elsewhere. If only I was local so that I could try them all. I like that this place seems more locally oriented and not part of a chain, and I would definitely stop by again if I found myself near one.

  • Angie C.

For a frozen yogurt joint, this place hits the mark. The flavors are always a combo of traditional and interesting (french toast, and other weird ones). And while serve yourself yogurt can be expensive, the total bill for my kids and me never seems to come above $10. And its locally owned and the family always donates to local causes. Worth the trek -- worth keeping in business.

  • Eric S.

Most froyo places are highly similar to one another, but some of them - such as Olo - stand out for subtle reasons. Olo has about 10 flavors, lots of fresh toppings (mochi!), reasonable prices, and high cleanliness standards. The sample cups are easily accessible, and they also usually have at least one no-sugar-added option. A negative is that Olo almost never has a full fat option, and I'm no fan of non- or low-fat froyo.

  • Annie J.

I love this place so much, yet I have to work hard to stay away. Otherwise I'd weigh a hundred thousand pounds and probably have diabetes. Even though they serve frozen yogurt verses traditional ice cream, making it "healthier," one can add as much toppings as one wants, and that's what I tend to do. Add everything, the diabetes included. Though they do have a wide variety of frozen yogurt flavors, each with varying levels of sugar and fat. Their Zia Blueberry Lite has the least amount of sugar with five grams. They have the typical non-fat and low-fat choices. Every bit counts when you're a glutton. Talking to one of the staff recently, she said there are people who come into their place who are on "the yogurt diet." I hadn't heard of it, but they replace a regular meal with a healthy frozen yogurt, which probably could be a heap of Olo's non-fat Chacoholic frozen yogurt topped with a ton of fresh fruit. I'm guessing these yogurt diet people aren't adding any of the sugary syrups or decadent toppings, well that is if they're serious about being healthier and/or losing weight. Olo tries to get all of their ingredients from as close to local as possible. For instance, all of their fresh fruit comes from local stores. Most of the frozen yogurt is made nearby. The furthest away, I believe, is from Colorado. The owner wanted to expound on their affinity for locally-made products in their frozen yogurt shop: "We don't make our yogurt in house mainly because yogurt requires a fermentation process and though I love the idea of yogurt 'microbrewery,' we just don't have the capacity to do so. In fact, we source our yogurt from both Colorado and Oregon. I would love to offer a New Mexican made product, however, to my knowledge, one does not exist. (I have contacted local dairies in the past, but none had plans to make frozen yogurt)." Olo has a wonderful selection of frozen yogurt flavors and toppings. I especially love their Chacoholic non-fat frozen yogurt, being a typical chocoholic. This place place is locally-owned and run, and they do very well even with the non-local competition around the corner.

Olo is great! Always lots of flavors to choose from and so many toppings! I always end up getting the classic tart with fruit, though, it's the best! The location is cool, and the atmosphere is very fun!

Awesome!!Yummy!! I visited Olo while traveling and literally stumbled onto this gem!!! Best frozen yogurt I have ever tasted. I wish there was an Olo in Southern California--I highly recommend this place...

I love, love, love this place! The yogurt is delicious and the employees always have a smile on their faces. It is a great place to go especially on those hot days. I've held a couple of "drop-in" parties there too. Lots of fun! Don't forget to sign-up for the Olo Libre account. You'll enjoy the free yogurt coupons in your email box.

Great frozen yogurt. Flavors are great, not too sweet, not artificial, and not too sour. Cant recommend this place enough.

Yum, that's what this place is. My husband discovered this place some time back and occasionally takes the kiddos, but I'd never gone until today. Today, I went with the fam and The Girl's BFF. Cute, colorful interior with an award in design by some local architecture firm, even. Self-serve frozen yogurt in flavors such as dulce de leche and horchata to angel food cake and crushed thin mint. I tried approximately five flavors: let's see, the chocolate (sorry, can't remember the whimsical name), the berry one (wow, I'm sucking at remembering the names), the horchata, the cake batter, and the thin mint. I tried to choose flavors that wouldn't totally clash and I think I succeeded. The selection of flavors is plenty, though perhaps smaller than I expected. However, the toppings bar was pretty awesome. I put two lychee, two circus animal cookies (swoon), mango boba, and about five Cap'n Crunch (YES!!!). It was cool. Looking forward to returning sometime. I have to say, though, I only frequent these kinds of places a few times a year, and at the kids' begging, so it may be a while before I'm back. Plus, you know, the waistband and all.

Great place to take the kids! My daughter loves to come here and her favorite thing is all the varied toppings. Flavors are delicious. I highly recommend it.

This frozen yogurt studio is in a fun, hip part of town. Offers a decent variety of flavors and toppings, including very delicious fresh fruit. Very cute, nice atmosphere, and yummy flavors. If you're craving froyo, definitely head to Olo!

  • Jazmine V.

I love the selections of yogurt and toppings that this location has. They have everything from healthy, sugar-free options to not sugar-free. The yogurts are low-fat, though. I think my favorite flavor is probably cake batter...or red velvet. And the toppings? Olo has that covered. You've got healthy options with flax, various fresh fruits (including lychee which might just be the most interesting fruit ever), and granola. And if you are not interested in those, they've got lots of candy including chocolate, sprinkles, cereal, and other delicious bits. They even have yummy sauces to top it all off. Enjoy!

I visited NYC at the start of the Pinkberry trend and lived in Chicago when the fro-yo craze hit circa 2010, but this is hands-down the best fro-yo joint I've ever been to. There is an amazing selection of flavors. My favorites include: - Tart (the classic unsweetened yogurt, excellent with fresh fruit, mochi, Fruity Pebbles, Nerds, and gummy bears) - Dulce de Leche (amazing by itself, but possibly enhanced by Heath bar pieces) - Cupcake batter - Horchata (Olo owner, if you're listening, please keep this flavor on the menu! I promise I will be back to eat more of it.) - Banana Olo has one of the most diverse toppings bar I have ever seen. The best part? A fairly large bowl is around $3.50. I don't know about ABQ, but you could easily end up paying $5 in Chicago. (Olo owner, if you're listening, please disregard that. Your prices are your best selling point!)

  • Crystal C.

This place is great. You get to taste the flavors before you try them. The flavors are always changing. They have low fat flavors (even though yogurt is already). The topping selection is good. The price is $0.45/once and on cold days it is cheaper. The staff is nice. We go there whenever we are in Nob Hill.

    (4)
  • Jeanette W.

My kids love this place. The yogurt seems to be cultured- which I like but I can see how some may think it is a bit sour or bitter. The kids love to go through the "treats & topping" bar themselves. the decor is awesome- amazing that it is an ABQ original not a chain. Definetly more like something you would find in a bigger city.

Please read my other review for all the juicy details on why this is a great spot for fro-yo. I am only updating to give a tip of the hat to the owners for responding to my concerns about one of their ingredients. The fact that they wrote to me personally to address my concerns and assuage my fears is quite meaningful. This is the type of business I like to support and I will continue to do so, especially as it gets warmer and I can justify eating their cold, creamy goodness.

Fun with a yummy selection of yogurt and toppings. The staff is nice and make everyone feel welcome. It's a neighborhood place where everyone fits in.

Most frozen yogurt places are about the same to me, and although Olo doesn't really stand out from the crowd, it's still very good. I've been there twice this summer and will most likely go again before I leave Albuquerque. There's a wide selection of toppings to choose from, including fresh fruit (my favorite). The pricing is very reasonable. I always pay around $2 per cup, and it's just the right amount of fro-yo for me. More positives: Olo is a nice place to hang out while you eat your yogurt. Seating is somewhat limited, but we've never had problems getting a table. The music is good (Sara Bareilles Pandora station or something similar) and not too loud. The staff is friendly and the location is great as it's right in the middle of Nob Hill.

    (4)
  • Claudia A.

This is a fun place to go. It is pretty and pleasant. There is seating available, but on summer time it probably gets tight. This is a make it yourself kind of place. You pour your frozen yogurt and then you add any toppings you want. Then, you go to the cashier and pay by the weight. The quality and taste of the products are excellent. Also, they let you sample as many flavors of frozen yogurt as you wish. And on cold days (don't remember the exact temperature number) the price per ounce drops, which makes getting a frozen yogurt an even sweeter deal.

    (5)
  • Robert B.

You certainly can't fault this place for friendliness! Awesome staff! The yogurt is very good, the toppings are plentiful and the prices are right. You know, the frozen yogurt competition in ABQ has gotten really tough in the last year or so. But Olo has done a great job keeping up with the competition. A wide selection of flavors (though not the widest of anywhere) sure helps. Whenever I'm in the area, you can find me here.

  • Katie B.

Stopped in here on a whim one afternoon while visiting ABQ. We tried their flavors before selecting, and ended up choosing cake batter, cherry vanilla, and red velvet. Oh my goodness, amazing. The toppings were fresh and the selection was awesome! (We appreciated the ginger and sea salt and black sesame seeds, too!) I put strawberries, mango, kiwi, gummy bears, and chocolate sprinkles on mine, and boyfriend put strawberries, mango, banana, and black sesame seeds. For both of us, the total was about $9. It was well worth the money and I was super pleased with the flavor selection and toppings. I wish we'd had time to stop by again before we left! I would come back to ABQ just to stop at Olo and get more yogurt!

  • Elizabeth B.

When we went to Olo at the recommendation of a local, our party of six ranged from two to 68 years -- and all of us came away very well satisfied. The cute little cups offered for taking free samples meant that we all knew exactly how our own special flavor would taste. Adding to that helpful flexible feature was the ability to add just as many of each topping we wanted, rather than to rely on a wait-person to go light on the berries and long on the chopped-up Butterfingers (God's most perfect yogurt topping). When the bill was wrung up, it was (from our Manhattanite perspective) very reasonable, in part because the wee one in our group only got charged for the very small portion she could eat. All in all, this is the place to go in Albuquerque to get your yogurt fix.

wow, this place was great. 6 different flavors and they sell it by weight. fruit and goodie toppings too. I had a berry sorbet with chocolate. Mmmmm. Will go back when I'm in town again.

Olo Yogurt Studio was a great addition to the Nob Hill area. My 6-year old niece and I really enjoy our trips here. Being able to sample all the different flavors is awesome, plus the staff is friendly and laid-back. They don't seem to mind if each of us samples all ten flavors before making the critical decision. I'm a fan of the Lady in Red Velvet and the original Tart. It's nice that the topping counter is low, because it means children can choose and administer their own toppings. Naturally, you will need to keep close, admonishing them to not put on too much, lest you walk away with a $15 cup of frozen yogurt! I like the high booths and tables. As we sit and leisurely enjoy our frozen treats, I am invariably entertained by the groups of teenagers who frequent the place. Apparently froyo exerts a powerful pull on the post-pubescent crowd. When I was in high school, I used to hang out in diners with my friends, drinking coffee, playing cards, chain-smoking, and taking the free refill policy as far as it would go. Frozen yogurt seems like a much more wholesome alternative.

  • Maresa T.

This is a great splurge, so fun to DIY your yogurt concoction with so many toppings it is hard to choose. Adore the Red Velvet flavor and miss it when it is not there but the cake batter is pretty good too.

  • Celia J.

Tasty & tart! I sampled the peach mango tart and original tart and then got a little of both and topped it with delicious blueberries, strawberries and waffle cone pieces. Very good yogurts, I may try a more chocolately treat next time. As a bunch of people noted in their reviews, it's awesome that the little sample cups are freely available, seems like a great business decision and I doubt most people have to try more than a few before they find one they can't resist! The workers were friendly and I saw a young man cleaning everything from the dispenser area to the swinging kitchen door very dilligently. The atmosphere was just perfect for fro-yo...though the music was a bit loud for me.

I love taking the kids to Olo, it is a lot of fun, really good and lots of fun flavors and toppings. Fun environment too, and friendly staff.

This is by far the best self serve yogurt place in ABQ. I've been to the other 2 and Olo trumps them both. By far they have the best tasting yogurt, but also all of the toppings are clearly marked, you can actual sample the yogurt without the cashier's controlling what you get (like the others), and it's super clean and a great place to hang out. It's the only place for me to get great, fresh, good-tasting yogurt!

    (5)
  • A M.

They had a fairly common list flavors. I was excited to try the pumpkin though. I had Pumpkin, Cake Batter, and Chocolate. The flavors were pretty weak. They weren't bad but I couldn't taste the flavors of the yogurt at all. That was disappointing. The selection of toppings was okay. They were a bit more expensive than other shops at $.41/ounce. The shop was really loud and seemed very crowded. I couldn't hear my friend talking while were there. The employees seemed more interested in talking amongst each other and their friends that came in rather than greeting/talking to customers. Overall, it was okay. I won't be having a craving for them but I'd have no problem going back.

I love yogurt places. Went with daughter and her friend after a Friday night UNM volleyball game and the place was hoppin'. I like how you can choose what you want on your yogurt and how much you want.

came here for the first time a couple days ago- what a relief from the sweltering heat/smoke! the yogurt was cool and yummy- with lots of sample cups so you can be sure about your choice- i got red velvet and cake batter flavors- toppings were plentiful and diverse. I believe it cost $0.41 per ounce (self serve) so not too pricey- plus you can decide how much you really want (and load up on the lightest toppings). really lovely spot for a hot summer afternoon.

  • Andrew Z.

Nice selection of yogurt flavors and it looks like they have new flavors rotating in regularly. Good variety in the topping bar with plenty of fresh fruit. Atmosphere definitely that of a near-college campus yogurt shop and that's not a bad thing in this case. Reasonably priced at $0.41/ounce. Worth the visit.

Olo opened tonight! We've been waiting for weeks and it was well worth it! The 10 different yogurt flavors and huge selection of self-serve toppings make it absolutely everything I was hoping for. It was so good that I am writing my very first yelp review. The classic tart is fantastic!
