This will be my most basic review: get the Chicken Teriyaki. If you're gluten free, ask for no sauce and bring your own soy sauce. If you're a vegetarian, just eat the chicken and tell yourself it's tofu- or ask for it to be subbed. If you're not hungry, eat it anyways. If you have no money to get the Chicken Teriyaki, beg a friend. If you don't have a car to get there, TELEPORT. Try the chicken teriyaki. You're welcome, frenz.

Visually...the roll looked odd. It looked more like a egg salad sushi roll. Fortunately, it tasted better than it looked. Unfortunately, I didn't feel too well a couple hours later. I decided to give Mr Tokyo a try again after many years. It's a small place, simple, clean. It's located next door to my gym and thought a simple roll would be a light satisfying dinner. The menu does not offer much for sushi options. Most of the menu consisted of teriyaki and habachi plates. This might be what they are better known for. Will I be back? I wouldn't make an effort. But I am curious about their teriyaki/hibachi lunch specials. But I am a bit frightened that I may not feel good again after. I'll have to think this one over.

A wonderful small restaurant, nicely decorated. The food is obviously fresh, flavorful, and generous. The service is quick and friendly. Perhaps it's not that creative, and wouldn't be appreciated by a foodie. But we enjoy it very much. We've been here a number of times, and never been disappointed.

Best teriyaki chicken by far! Eaten lots of chicken teriyaki at all the Japanese restaurants around town. This is still our favorite place for chicken teriyaki.

Mr Tokyo is good. It's a no frills Japanese restaurant. The Udon Noodle dishes are large but do not have a lot of meat. The combination beef and chicken dish had a good sized portion of meet but sadly the cuts of beef were very fatty. The service was very good and the prices are reasonable but there is just better Japanese food out there.

I tried this place because its located in the shopping center next door to my work location. I found the interior of the restaurant to be clean and pleasing. I ordered the chicken udon noodles to go. The noodles were decent and the portion was fair. The chicken seemed a little dry and the vegetables and sauce were just ok. I may try the place again sometime and order something different to see if it's any better. I wasn't brave enough to venture into there rolls ( sushi and sashimi) but who knows maybe that's where I'm missing out.
