This is a nice little Mexican grocer and deli. They have a lot of locations in ABQ. They have a good sized bar area where you can eat hot/prepared foods with Spanish TV shows, but the majority of the store is groceries. I enjoy a good mercado and haven't been in one since moving here from Chicago. They have great, I mean GREAT sales on produce (2lbs yellow onions for .89) which I was told by the person who referred me that these are weekly one day only sales which are usually on a Wednesday. All the isles and most of the labels on the meat and seafood counter are in both Spanish and English which is good for me as I speak spotty Spanish on a good day. They had a great variety of harder to find produce and an excellent fresh salsa bar. There was also a larger variety of cuts of meat than you'll usually find at other grocers. We got all the ingredients for guacamole, some fresh salsa, and two rib eye steaks. The steaks were excellent, and fairly priced. Overall, this is a great place to go for produce and meats as well as any Hispanic household or hygiene items.
